This business was recommended to me by another mechanic in Lubbock who didn t have the automated programs needed to fully assess the problem w my van. They worked diligently to find the problem and then made the necessary repairs. They explained every detail and the cost so I could make an informed decision. I highly recommend Complete Auto Repair.

They should be at a 5 star. Very knowledgeable group of people really kind and respectful. Did exactly what they said they would and wouldn t move forward without consent. Even listen without being the cocky arrogant mechanics that most think they are. If you have an idea of what the issue may be they listen and follow up and let you know the diagnosis of what is exactly wrong. Very affordable. Way better than a dealership and won t add random charges and think it s ok to get away with it. I will come back in the future for any repairs.

Had a timing chain issue that friend told me about. It was making a loud rattling noise and loss of power. I dropped my car off to them and they wanted $700 up front. I have never had a shop ask for money up front. Maybe I looked like I couldn't afford it. I paid it. They quoted me about $1800!! Jeez well I need my car and want to drive it a few more years. After the time they told me it would be done I started to drive by to see if my car was in the bay, but day after day it sat outside. I saw many news cars each time and the next day they would all be gone. Well It took them a month to do the repair. I had my car in 3 years before for a transmission replacement and it took them a week. Now the noise is back after less than a year. IDKService: Auto maintenance

Beware: Complete Auto Repair was by far the worst experience I had with any mechanic so far. They charge you for the job they do not do. I had to pay $340 for the service they did not offer wasting my time for a full week. Save yourself a headache and find a competent mechanic. I wished I had read the other reviews here earlier.I recently purchased my Dodge charger and found that the center RF Antenna harness (under center console) is missing. I called Complete Auto and they said they will inspect it free of charge. When I got to the shop the guy there said I will be charged $140 for electronic inspection and I said OK, while informing them about the RN antenna problem. After two days they called saying they will need to charge $280 more and will find and fix the problem. I emphasized that I will pay the cost if they can fix the problem. $ days later they called me saying we could not find the harness for you and cannot make one as well. I was having the impression that they will charge me the initial $140, but to my surprise, they charged me $340 for just keeping my car. They could easily tell me they do not have the harness right at the beginning when I clearly showed them the problem and say sorry go to a dealer, but they wasted my time and money. This is what two other shops told me over the phone, they said we do not have the tools and expertise to mess with RF antennas, but Complete Auto Repair promises to do something that they have no experience in and waste your time and money.

This place has the worst mechanics. They charge you for doing nothing on your car. They charged me $300 for no repairing my car. I later could repair the tiny electrical problem with a $10 chip. These people have no mechanical skills or care for their customers.

Came in with a car I knew was out on timing. They kept my car 4 days just to come back and tell me what I already knew. For 180 dollars. The price they wanted to charge to fix it was more than a new engine for that car would cost. AI do not recommend using this place.

It's not Chep they charge to much and do things that they know already aren't going to work but get you to take the bait. I was able to fix my car on my own for $350.00 and received a better upgrade Item than what they had said even though they said it was updated with the latest program's my car already had Sync 3.0 and when receiving My part from elsewhere it was updated with Sync 3.4 So I paid $250.00 for an update I didn't receive I don't recommend this Place because You could save Time and MoneyService: General repairs & maintenance

The guys at complete auto repair are crooks and will scam you if you know nothing about cars. They took complete advantage of the lack of knowledge me and my fiance had about our truck's problem. For instance when we left the truck the quoted price was $66 dollars for a bum blinker. To be fair the desk guy did say that the stated price wouldn't be the end price, which is understandable. What isn't understandable is how on the last phone call I had with this guy he quoted me a price of $650 dollars for a bad blinker. And what was the problem? After hours of labor at $120 an hour, which I had no knowledge of, and an exchanged multifunction switch, which I agreed to, and a flasher fix, which I didn't agree to, the problem was two loose wires on the connector of the multifunction switch. Two loose wires costed me $532 dollars, and four days without my truck.I was so shocked at how much I paid that I called around, other mechanics, and everyone agreed that I had been scammed. To make my point clear if you want to waste time and money go to complete auto repair. If you want to be taken advantage of and scammed go to complete auto repair. They will be happy to oblige you.

First of all, do not go to this place. I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I was in Lubbock and had trouble with my pickup. I looked up reviews on google and picked this place. Should have paid more attention. Most 5 stars appear to be fake and paid for. I was charged 807 dollars for them to drop my transmission. Not to mention that they messed it up even more. I had a real transmission shop look this over and though I can not prove it it is pretty obvious what happened. They have ghost fees that they are not up front about. $60 just to open the hood. $125 an hour for labor, what a joke. Brought a mechanic friend with me to pick up my truck from these crooks. They wouldn t even discuss anything. Just kept talking over us. Please to don t come to this den of thieves. It will be a waste of money. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

FAKE REVIEWS. THEY PAID FOR THE 5 STAR REVIEWS. Charging double what was quoted. Will nickle and dime you to death. Just paid $807 and nothing was done. We picked up the truck disassembled. That is what they charged just to disassemble when the entire job was supposed to be $1000. They called to tell us it would be an additional $1500 because they broke a part and we needed to pay for it. DO NOT USE THEM!

I've done business with the good folks at Complete Auto Repair for over twenty years, and today reminded me why. Bottom line is this: they are totally honest. I took my car to them for some work a few months ago and then had to leave the country shortly thereafter. Before I left, the car was running a little rough, but I didn't have time to take it back to them. So, I garaged the car for four months. When I came back to Lubbock last week, I drove by and asked them to take a look at my car. Of course, they could have diagnosed it and told me anything--and I would not have known the difference. But, no, the Complete Auto Repair guys looked at my repair record, checked the car over, and concluded that the problem was related to their earlier work. So, they fixed it free of charge. For their forthrightness, they have earned my total customer loyalty. Thanks for your honesty, guys!

They charged over $100 for a simple diagnostic. They overcharge me for labor. Unhelpful, not forthcoming with explanations at all, and very rude. I went here a few years ago. At 19 still ignorant about cars and mechanics. I knew I was ripped off then. Now at 23 I'm well versed with cars and mechanics, and now I know that they didn't rip me off; they robbed me blind. They'll take advantage of you if they can. Also, everyone who's given them five starts looks like a paid reviewer to me. Read their other reviews.

Worked on my truck without letting me know that it was going to cost a 161.00. Claiming that oil was put in the truck but when I checked there was no oil at all. Joe claims he had my daughter sign paperwork and my daughter didn't know what she signed and in the past he would call and ask me if I wanted him to work on my vehicle before he did anything.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Hands down some of the rudest and borderline aggressive people I ve ever met. Will never set foot in the parking lot again and would recommend no one else does either. Kindness is free and it is in short supply here.

I dis business with them 6 years ago! They were super friendly and helpful! They explained everything thoroughly and answered my questions without making me feel like I was a nuisance! Joe was very helpful and gave me suggestions and references for getting a new car. The engine blew on mine! :-(

I went it for an electrical issue in my car hoping to get the issue resolved but the customer service was the absolute worst. They charged me for an hour of labor and from what I saw they only lifted the hood of my car and did nothing else for half an hour. I went up to the mecanic and asked if anyone is servicing my car and he replied in the most rudest of manner. When I clearly saw that I was the only customer there and there were 3 mechanics but none of them Doing anything at all. Instead of apologizing and getting things moving forward the manager just replied with the excuse that he was the only shop open today and that I had no other choice and then without asking told his employee to pull out my car outta the shop while the mecanic was just about to actually do something to my car. Horrible place with horrible customer service. I even over heard them charging a woman over 300 dollars just for a spark plug change! I highly don't recommend. These people are just out here for your money. STAY AWAY!

Called around 8:15am was quoted a price and said it would take 3 Hours to repair my vehicle because i had somewhere to be at 3. Called at 2pm to check on my vehicle and they hadn t even started it yet. Instead of even giving me a courtesy call so I could make other arrangements I had to find out the hard way it wouldn t be ready! All it would of took was for them to call and let me know. Instead they lost a customer!

A solicitor sold me a sheet that included a free oil change + 4 more at half price along with other coupons for services. This sheet had no expiration date visibly written anywhere on it or gave terms of expiration.I went by on my way out of town a few months later and was told I would have to make an appointment and they wouldn't be able to get me in for a few days. I walked out. That was at their Slide Rd. location. Some time passed. I got my oil changed elsewhere. Knowing that I had already put the money into it, I wanted to still receive services. I went in to the 50th St. location thinking maybe I would have a better experience. They said the earliest the could get me in was the next day and I said okay. However, when I presented the free oil change coupon from the sheet, I was told it had expired because I purchased it over a year ago.I asked the man behind the front desk where on the terms it stated it was only good for a year. He looked over it for a moment without finding any wording stating when the expiration date was and just said "oh, well that's what it is. Its just good for a year from your date of purchase."I find this very shady. It obviously did not say anywhere that it had an expiration date and the solicitor who sold it to me did not mention this either. I have to imagine many people who paid $50 for these useless promotional sheets were ripped off. These shops are clearly not set up in such a way that they can conveniently perform oil changes, so they should not be selling this to people. You might have gotten $50 from me up front through that sleazy salesman, but you will never get my business again. Nor will I recommend you to anyone I know.

Complete Auto Care has my loyalty. I inherited a vehicle from my mother when she passed. It broke down and due to its age the part was extremely hard to find. Complete Auto Repair came through and found the part saving my car from the junk yard. (Note to nay sayers. They did not pay me for the 5 stars. Nor does any one I know work for them including myself.)

Nice guys, and usually they fix the problem in the first shoot. It's not cheap, but it's cheaper than other places, so it's worth.
