I had the privilege to meet some wonderful people today. I actually drove in the lot to capture a photograph of this Huge American flag in their lot . I was welcomed by the folks that I just had to photograph them also, but first the red white, and blue. Thank you folks for the welcome . Thank you veterans for your sacrifice !

Camping World is an RV enthusiast's dream! Huge selection of RVs, plus all the gear and accessories you could want. Their service department has been a lifesaver, fixing issues big and small. Staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable about RV life.

Had an amazing experience purchasing a R.V. here! Nathan are salesman was so informative and went above and beyond to help us find the right camper. We looked at several units and then he showed us our 2021 Forest River Vibe. Amazing camper by the way. Then his support staff John in the big office was beyond awesome about working on our deal and helping us with questions as well! Just overall the process was easy and enjoyable. I'm really impressed they do a walk through of the units so if you have any concerns before your camper goes home it's fixed. Also they detail these thing like it was for the president. It was like a Mr. Clean commercial. I'd definitely recommend shopping here for your rv needs!!

Great team. Kelly H., Jeff, and Jordan were amazing. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. Every person we talked to was kind and curtious attentitive and prompt, from the mechanics to the store sales. Thank you.

The reviews for this Camping World are extremely overrated (and most likely bought), especially when it comes to the service department.Do not purchase anything from Camping World and do not use their service - Your RV will come back in worse condition and they will do nothing about it.

I was treated like a second class citizen. I work for a living and had to go during my work hours in my work clothes to try and find a travel trailer. I was judged for my appearance . I walk in and the entire staff just look at me sat at their desks until I ask for help. After I got the trailer I needed I was charged 1900 $ for a camping camper ready trailer which was a two small propane tanks one empty found out the hard way during this last cold days . The management needs to re train there staff and stop charging 1900 hundred dollars for lies and stop judging people for their appearance

UPDATE: Having now owned our RV for six months and it still not able to be used, I would never wish this experience on anyone. CW does not care once you walk out the door, and will not follow up on anything. They will refer you to the Marcus line that will provide no follow up as well. If you value your time and money stay clear of CW.Worst buying experience of my life. For 90k you get zero follow through and support. After having our rv for three months we still have been unable to use it or register it. After dozens of phone calls no one follows through to ensure anything gets resolved. I would recommend you stay far from this business to prevent stress and wasted time because they will not support you in any way once you sign the papers. When i picked up the unit the "delivery" guy wasn't there so i am now finding multiple things that don't work. Unfortunately I am from out of state so they took advantage of that and told me it was ready to pick up but it wasn't and i couldn't wait there a week to go through the issues. Sadly I didn't read the reviews before buying, quite a history of bad service. Already have a call in to Marcus, they don't follow up either. When their process is to immediately refer you to their corporate office you know they get plenty of complaints and are starting the runaround.

Had a difficult time finding some random parts for a old Airstream. I was able to pull a parts list directly off Camping Worlds web site and, Presto! I had everything I needed in the palm of my hand. All I had to do was call them and leave them a message as to my specific requirements.

Total waste of time. I called ahead to see an RV. When I got there it wasn't ready. Instead of being pulled up front, we had to walk thru the mud to get to it and track mud inside it. But not to worry, they would clean it upon sale. For a fee. The guy that helped me knew absolutely nothing about the RV, or much about any RV for that matter. He wouldn't give me a straight answer about the cost of Camping World "add ons", like the cleaning. The battery was dead, warning lights were on (including the check engine light), and nothing worked. But they would make sure things worked IF I agreed to buy it and paid $1500 for them to "inspect" it. I drove 6 hours and was unable to check much of anything on it. Perhaps that was their strategy. Scam! Total lack of care for their RV's or their customers. Stay away buyers!!!

First time buyer of an rv. The buying process was easy. The warranty and repair process is was another story. First, I made an appointment for my repair about 3 months out, when arrived they said they didn t have it on the books. They took the unit anyways. The unit was in the repair center for 4 months. They fixed most of the issues, however, the primary issues were not addressed. Additionally, the unit wasn t winterized as stated it would be. Which lead to the water filter exploding (thankfully that s all that happened). I will say they did send some out to repair the water filter, which was great. There were leaks under the kitchen sink and the shower which lead to water damage. They repaired the leak in the kitchen, never addressed the damage to the cabinets. They couldn t find the leak in the shower, never fixed it, then painted over the damage. I didn t have time or patience to deal with these issues. I contacted the manufacturer. They stated the unit was repaired and paid for. clearly it wasn t, I had photos to prove.Well I ended up taking the unit to another dealership, outside of the camping world community, they actually fixed it and took care of me. Unliked camping world. I will never recommend camping world to anyone. The only thing they are professional at is scamming. I recommend you take your business else, about 3 hrs east to Wichita Falls. They will take care of you.

Got to update my review. I got screwed royally with my contract. I got charged 119k for a newer RV, which was only supposed to be 34k plus interest. Now I can't get out of this contract.

We can't say enough with how wonderful the staff is here truly. Not very often I rate a place with 5 stars but they definitely live up to and exceeded my expectations. Usually purchasing anything these days can be somewhat intimidating but they listened and understood our concerns and helped us find the Perfect trailer for us instead of just trying to get us in something and out the door. Our first experience with Camping world of Lubbock more or less set the bar high and have earned our business from here on out.

Got sold a lemon and they didn t seem too concerned about it. Just moving on to the next sucker that will put down over $12k to get into a good quality unit.

Update. After being told a check would be issued to be in 3-4 weeks I find out yesterday after informing CW thst I have paint peeling off the awning of my Class B that in order to get my check I ll need to fill out a W-9 form. FYI- A W-9 form is for self employed people. Like sub contractors & such to report earned income to the IRS. I am not self employed nor did I sub contract myself to CW to make repaired on my Class B RV!Not happy at all. I was told back in May (2023) I was buying a used 2022 Thor Rize 18M. There were a couple minor problems that I asked to be fixed while I was brought to the bank for the check. (I flew in from MN). After finalizing the purchase I was told everything was ready to go. I made it home to find a water leak, no hot water & the minor thinks not fixed. Brought it into CW here in MN & insurance was used to fix the water leak & get the hot water woeking. My $50 bill was covered by a $50 gift card sent in the mail from CW in Lubbock. Four months later a magnets falls off the drawer, then the windows had falls off in 1 corner & the magnet for the wetbath sink starts falling off. Then closet door is wobbly. So I call back to TX & am told to bring it back to CW in MN & they will mail me a check for my out of pocket expenses. CW in MN tells me that I m the 1st owner of the unit & it s still under warranty. Yet here I am with a $641.02 repair bill that Lubbock is now ghosting me about. $400+ of this bill is labor. It was also suppose to come with a TV. It didn t. There is a Winegard installed. I ve yet to figure out how that works. Twice I ve rebotted it from the unit itself on the roof & the tablet. A representative from WineGard has been unable to help too. While I love the set up of the unit & Dodge hasn t disappointed me yet, the craftsmanship of the inside is nothing to brag about.I haven t put anything heavy inside this sink to cause this. Driving is on state/city roads.UNBELIEVABLE. Today August 25th I come home from work & find a puddle of water on the floor between the seats. Seat arms are wet, dog food/water bowl mats is flooded. The roof vent fan is leaking!!!!! My entire ceiling has water damage as it s been raining heavy on/off or a steady light rain all day here

Great experience with Steve Mikula he sold us a 2019 Keystone Cougar, very knowable and never felt pressured. It was like taking a knowable friend along thru the buying process. Also JR Garza was very informative during the final walk thru.

Had the worst customer service here. I came to pick up a door for my dad that had arrived in the mail and was waiting for the parts department to come back to their desk when Cindy passed me and asked if I needed anything, I told her I m here to pick up something for my dad and she very rudely asked me what exactly it was the I was picking up and who s my dad. I told her I wasn t exactly sure, it was a couple of things and she looked blankly at me for 5 seconds and said oh bless your heart I then told her I wanted to be helped by someone else because that was rude of her to say and she would not leave me alone from then on. She kept calling me hun after I asked her to stop and I was getting super frustrated when someone finally showed up at the desk to help and Cindy acted like she was helping and not being condescending to me. After then being ignored by the guy that showed up, he then helped me after he helped a gentlemen that walked in after me and asked what I needed. He then proceeded to tell me that one of the parts came in damaged and didn t tell me that on the phone when I was on my way to pick it up. My dad has been without a water heater for TEN DAYS now waiting on this ridiculous company that doesn t have their ducks in a row. I was told by him that my dad could ve been using the water heater all along without the door or vent but every person we talked to neglected to tell us that.We first got a call that the water heater was ready to pick up and then took it home to realize we didn t get everything we ordered. We called up there and they said that s everything. We looked again and it wasn t so we called again and then we were told we were waiting on a door and a vent. This order was placed for $734 for all three items and I am still missing a vent. When asked if they could install, it would ve been ANOTHER $700. My dad called up there to check on the door and was placed on hold where he ended up on the phone with the company that was trying to ship the door to camping world. The management here is laughable and you will find everyone laid back on their phones when you walk in and not one single person is in a hurry. Spend your time and money ANYWHERE else. This place is a joke

Buying a new trailer here, the process was good. Friendly staff. Getting someone to return call about warranty , is another story. Called. twice. Both times was told someone would call us back. Been a week and no calls. If I d known this is how they treat customers after a sale, we never would have bought from here.

Giving a 1 star because zero isn't an option. We dropped our camper off on July 6th for repair (minor) and we picked it up almost 3 months later. The service tech responisble for our camper lied throughout the process, wouldn't communicate with us or our insurance company. The work still wasn't completed as of today. After contacting the corporate office, our camper magically became ready. The service dept manager said he would look in to what happened and let me know after I spoke to him today. I am not anticipating any response from them. I will never return to this camping world.

Buyer be awareWe love our trailer, but after negotiating the cost where they made it sound like we were getting a really good deal, we got a call saying that it was actually 3 years newer than we were told and again made it sound like we were getting a really good deal. We had to call our insurance back and give them a different Vin number and after we got home they said they are sending an affidavit for the finance company.......again the wrong Vin number. After investing further we discovered that the price we were negotiating on was for a trailer 9 feet longer with slide-out and an outdoor kitchen.........yea.....they made themselves a great deal. Us.......not so much

Decent deal on a trailer... Other than that... Nothing good to say except everybody was nice. The most frustrating thing it's that I bought a 50 amp trailer. The park I was going to be has 30 amp. No problem, there's an adapter for that. I'd already been told that so I bought the trailer. At the dealership they had a guy help me get everything I need to set it up. I told him the issue and he grabbed the adapter. Now I'm sitting 5 hours away in an RV park I can't plug in to because the adapter is to allow a 30 amp trailer to plug into a 50 amp plug...not the other way around. So... No power... Can't set up the trailer... And did I mention I'm 5 hours away from them now? Oh, and I'm an hour and a half from the closest store that might have what i need but it's a little after midnight... Thanks guys! This is working out great!

In March of 2023 we took ournewly purchased used RV to camping world to have some things checked out. They wanted to change and fix several things that we had no concern about. And the things that we did tell them to go ahead and repair we have found out over time that those things were done incorrectly or did not need to be done in the first place and we're very dissatisfied with the results of the service provided. We will not be returning to camping world for anything

Well had to edit my review because of the financing department. JR Garcia was a good salesman and we were pleased with him. The financing department not so much. They will tell you they are independent and on your side. Do not believe that. They will try to rush you through paperwork and get you to finance extra coverages that you don't need. You can always add them later so skip them and read the fine print before you purchase. Called the day after signing papers to cancel coverages and was assured it would be cancelled and taking care of. They completely dropped the ball I had to call several months later and cancel one myself and few months later after still not seeing credit on my finance account called and found out they didn't get them everything they needed to refund. Had to finance an extra 13,000.00 for 6 months. Will never spend another dime in Camping World.

Rating: Review:Camping World, a prominent retailer specializing in recreational vehicles (RVs), camping gear, and outdoor accessories, aims to cater to the needs of outdoor enthusiasts. Here's my review of Camping World:Extensive Product Selection: Camping World boasts an extensive selection of products designed for outdoor adventures. From RVs, travel trailers, and motorhomes to camping gear, outdoor furniture, and accessories, they offer a wide range of options. Whether you're a seasoned camper or a novice exploring the great outdoors, Camping World provides many choices to suit different preferences and budgets.Knowledgeable Staff: The staff at Camping World generally possesses a decent level of knowledge about the products they sell. They can assist customers with inquiries regarding RVs, camping equipment, and related accessories. However, the level of expertise may vary between different locations, and some staff members may lack in-depth knowledge or experience in certain areas.RV Service and Maintenance: Camping World provides RV service and maintenance facilities, which can be convenient for RV owners. They offer services such as repairs, inspections, and installations. While the availability and quality of these services may depend on the specific location, Camping World generally aims to assist customers in keeping their RVs in good condition.Pricing: One aspect where Camping World falls short is pricing. The prices of their products and services are often higher compared to other retailers in the market. This premium pricing can make it challenging for budget-conscious customers to find affordable options. It's advisable to compare prices with other retailers and consider the additional benefits or services provided by Camping World before making a purchase.Customer Service: Camping World strives to provide satisfactory customer service. The staff members are generally polite and willing to assist customers. However, there have been occasional reports of delays in receiving assistance or unsatisfactory resolutions to customer concerns. It's recommended to communicate any issues promptly and proactively with the staff for better support.Online Presence and Resources: Camping World maintains a strong online presence, offering a user-friendly website and online shopping options. Their website provides useful resources such as buying guides, RV tips, and camping advice, which can be valuable for customers looking for information and guidance. The online platform also allows for easy browsing, purchasing, and tracking orders. In conclusion, Camping World serves as a comprehensive destination for outdoor enthusiasts, particularly those interested in RVs and camping gear. With their wide product selection, knowledgeable staff (varying by location), RV service facilities, and online resources, Camping World caters to the needs of outdoor adventurers. However, the higher pricing compared to other retailers and occasional customer service issues should be considered before making a purchase.Note: Please remember that this review is based on general observations and experiences, and your specific experience at Camping World may vary depending on the location and other factors

Think twice before purchasing a RV, trailer, camper from Lubbock Camping World. They give you the run around, tell you things that are not true, hangs the phone up on you when talking, never returns call. General manager never available according to sales manager and finance.General Managers at other locations are never available.Customer service is not customer service, unacceptable!I thought Camping World was a great place for camping needs and RV, campers but after dealing with them I would not recommend them to anyone. Other campers have had bad experiences as well.

Buying experience was great. Kelly was our sales person and he was awesome about showing us as many campers as we wanted. He also was not pushy and simply asked us how we would like to proceed. Jordan, the finance person, is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to save you money and get you the best rates. I will definitely be back for the next one.

The experience was a great one. Especially our salesman JR Garcia was very patient and was up front about every situation especially when we were looking at campers and other people had already started the process of buying them, and JR Garza knows his campers and was very informative on explaining everything to do with our camper. Park was great with us on the signing portion of the process from making sure we understood everything on the paperwork, and making sure it was the correct price. All together we had a great time and everyone treated us respectfully and more like family then a customer. We will definitely go back to them if we decide to trade up. Greatly appreciative of everyone there. Thanks again

We were so pleased with our recent camper purchase at Camping World! Our salesperson, Charlie S., was so nice and knowledgeable and responded to all our questions promptly. He was genuinely excited for us to be getting the camper we selected. The one we wanted had to be brought in from out of state but he arranged to have someone at the other facility take a video of our specific camper and send us! The finance man, Jordan, was also great to work with, very nice, and professional. A pleasant experience overall, would highly recommend doing business with them!Update- July 2022We decided to trade our wonderful camper for an RV and were treated very well and got a great deal. We worked with Charlie again and had the same positive experience! He is so helpful and courteous and it felt like doing business with a friend rather than a salesperson. Stievens Castro in financing was wonderful to work with as well! And a big shout out to J.R. for his kind and knowledgeable answers to questions about things in our RV he's already explained to us! All the folks we encounter at Camping World are so friendly and want to see that we get our questions answered and are taken care of. Just a great place to do business!
