Our son s car broke down in Lubbock and we live 5 1/2 hours away. I called Brady s Automotive and spoke to Johnathon. He was very honest and patient with me. I must have called him I know about five different times. He was so very nice every time I called. Thank you for a job well done. I am so forever grateful to Johnathon and Brady s Automotive! !

I took my Nissan in yesterday to fix my ac and heat that had not been working for almost a year now. Not only did they have fair pricing they had my ac up and running within hours. I had a much better quote than at the Nissan dealership. Thank you for your timely service and fair price! I will be returning with any other needs!

These guys are great! Had a check engine light come on and scanned it at AutoZone! They where able to prove that the AutoZone diagnosis was wrong and correct the issue! Best labor rate in town! (At least as far as I could find) Highly recommend! Great guys trying to make an honest living! I know times are hard with prices and parts right now. But they where able to get exactly what I needed within the same-day they diagnosed the issue. And I couldn't find they part anywhere! Good guys! Amazing how good they are at their job. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Brought my wife s car by so they could look at the AC compressor specifically. Instead they told me I needed a whole new ac system (which is less than a year old) and a new exhaust manifold, in addition to a radiator flush and Freon flush. Then quoted me $2700 and charged me $150 to pick up the car having repaired nothing. I was not told that they would milk the clock and charge me labor having done nothing to the car. Maybe it was just my experience but I would ask for as much info as possible on the phone before dropping your vehicle off.

Beyond and truly disappointed with Brady's. None of the issues I got fixed and spent thousands. We ended up having to go somewhere else and get inspected and come to find out another mechanic has to fix the same issues that Brady's was suppose to fix. It's unfortunate I won't get my money back so guess I'll have to make sure to let y'all know. I strongly urge never to get your vehicle fixed here and I mean never. Seeing as you reply let me be more clear. I spent hundreds on the steering wheel you "attempted" to fix twice and didn't. Went there for oil leaks didn't fix. And finally went to get electrical issues fixed and did not. So correct I did spent thousands over the years I went to this company. I had declined the 4th time I went there. when you spoke of the steering wheel having issues that you "apparently" fixed. So yes we did spent quite a bit here and will no longer.

Well I have used this place before and they did good work but this time my daughters car quit on her the timing chain went out so had towed to the shop the man told me that it would be about 1300. to fix cool then they call my daughter and told her the motor lock down and that it was going to be 10.500 to fix and this is for a 2006 malibu so I ask the man about where do they get they parts from so he told me so I got in touch we them and for the same motor 2.2L the price on it was 3150.00 so I call back to ask for a receipt wich I never got so I ask the man how much was just the motor he said 6500.00 so that tells me that it's all about getting over on people and did I mention that I live in Waco Texas so yea

Drove to Texas from Kansas and needed to get my head gaskets and gasket cover replaced. Extremely reasonably priced. Friendly staff and very helpful. I know my sister will use them if needed in the future! It can be incredibly difficult to find a good auto repair shop. Look no further than Brady's Automotive.Robin was incredibly helpful and kind. The service was excellent and the price was fair. Rest assured that they will take good care of you and your vehicle.Highly recommended.

I am extremely disappointed with the service here. I believed I needed the battery cables replaced on my car and my father helped me out and called them to figure out a good time to bring it in - mainly so they would be able to work on it when it s less busy and I wouldn t be without a car for as long. I took it in, asked them to check the battery cables as well as the driver side window mechanism, she explained to me that it may be a couple days before they got to it, I said that s fine and I left.Four days later I got a phone call explaining that the battery lug nuts needed to be replaced, not the cables, and that my regulator was out so that as well as the window motor needed to be replaced. I was informed of the prices (which were unreasonably steep considering the simplicity of the work that would need to be done) and I decided I would come pick my car up and take it elsewhere.I informed the lady over the phone that I d be picking my car up, and it was at this point that she informed me for the first time of a $120 testing and diagnosis charge. First of all, this fee was not mentioned once to my father when he called ahead for me, nor was it mentioned to me when I went to drop my car off. While I expected a small fee, both my father and I found it ridiculous that they would charge me $120 after holding my car for 4 days and doing nothing other than looking in the hood at the battery and taking off the door panel to examine the window motor. What is more outrageous, however, is that this fee was not once mentioned until after I had dropped my car off, at which point I was stuck paying.Nevertheless, I went into the shop to pay and retrieve my car. When I walked in, however, I found that my father had coincidentally decided to give Brady s Automotive a call to express his disapproval of the fact that they effectively lied about a $120 baseline fee. After the phone call, the lady I spoke with was incredibly flustered and made no hesitation to take it out on me. She first insulted my father to my face and then proceeded to try to demand cash payment and refuse credit card.This was unacceptable for two reasons. First, regardless of the situation, a business has no legal right to refuse a particular form of payment that they advertise that they accept for any reason, but especially not because they re upset and taking their frustrations out on a paying customer. Second, she attempted to bar me from giving her my only form of payment, despite the fact that the car in question legally belongs to me and my father, whom she was upset with, had no legal ownership of the car.Once I pointed both of these things out, she relented and I paid and took my car. Overall, the situation was handled poorly and incredibly unprofessionally; I absolutely will not be a returning customer to Brady s Automotive unless I feel like dealing with unprofessional service and dishonest business.

Brady s is awesome!! Robin and Brady were so kind, understanding , and helpful to my situation. In truth , she went above and beyond to make sure I understood exactly what was going on with my vehicle, what was needed to be done, and made sure I was taken care of. They got my vehicle fixed up so in just a few hours. I highly recommend Brady s Automotive.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Customer service is great, and the work they've done for me has been excellent indeed thus far.. but Brady blessed me at a time when he had no idea that I needed it most. A kind act in a desperate time in which, could've also been a rough time for them as well ( I don't know). But what I do know is the kind of impact that you can have on a person, or a situation can be tremendous when we adhere to Gods call. I hope it comes back Tenfold. Thank you Brady and Robin. Awesome experience with Brady. I rarely write reviews but Brady helped me out of a jam & I couldn't be more appreciative. I was out of town when I hit a sheet of metal on the road. I called many shops and they were all closed for the weekend. Brady was open right at 8AM on Saturday and got me in first thing without notice. They fixed a broken hose rather than ordering a new part & forcing me to wait 2 days. Super reasonable price & got me on my way quickly. I drove hundreds of miles the following day with no issue. HIGHLY recommend going to Brady's. By far the most trustworthy mechanic experiences I've ever had.

I don't recommend this business. My daughter took her car in and was given an estimate of $900.00 for brakes. She was told by the owner that she was at risk of having an accident because her brakes were metal to metal. I wasn't sure if that was possible but I don't want my daughter to get hurt. I told her to see what he could do with $500.00. He did the back and told her to return as soon as she had the rest of the money to prevent further damage. I checked around in El Paso and I learned that was enough for the front and rear brakes to be replaced. I can't believe that someone would take advantage the way he did. I would appreciate it if someone knows of a place in Lubbock where she can get the front brakes done.Service: Brakes

These people are just amazing. My car broke down 400 miles into a road trip, and they squeezed me in to get us going as soon as possible. When it turned out that we needed a new engine, Brady so incredibly generously didn't charge us for the work or small part he had put in so far. They offered my wife a private room to feed our baby, and gave us all the time we needed to figure out what we were doing. They were also willing to let us leave our car there for a couple days while we made plans to get it hauled back home. 10/5 stars.

This is a real acct ignore the lack of name. I love this shop! They are extremely friendly and do everything in their power to reasonably help get you back on the road. They treat you like family and the dogs are there to greet you too! Kept me up to date on my vehicle every step of the way and worked with me on saving money by me providing the parts. Thats hard to find these days. Thank yall so much!

I use to, send him business and gave him a five star rating and 311 people read it. No more business from me. I deleted my old past and gave him a new one and no more referrals.He put a clutch assembly in and it lasted 8000 miles, they should last 100000 or more, took it back adjusted new clutch all the way out. The mechanic made the notation that the throw out bearing was whining.I left called several times and he said that happens, I nearly had 5 wrecks.I got tired of calling to take it in always to busy.I took it to Toyota. They fixed it correctly and put the throwout bearing and pilot bearing in which he did not so my new clutch cost me double. It works great now.No more referrals now, threw,so I had to pay double.

I huge rod punctured my gas tank and muffler. I got my car to Brady's and Nick got right on the case. Robyn kept me updated every step of the way. Nick did such an excellent job, I was able to get back on the highway in a vehicle that had gasoline gushing out of it just a few hours before. "Get It To Nick" @ Brady's! Honest, friendly, wonderful pricing for excellent work, God-fearing folks!

They took care of my issue in great timing. I had my check engine light come on and they fixed it at a reasonable price and great timing.However, the real reason why they get five stars is because they spotted an issue that another mechanic in Houston attempted to fix but failed to do so.I was supposed to hit the road across the state a few days later - thank God they caught it or else I would have been broken down in the middle of nowhere.Not only that, they're incredibly nice and friendly. I'm so glad they found my issue with my car - I would be in the middle of nowhere not knowing what to do next if it weren't for them.

Can t stress enough about their speed and friendly staff. It was my first time in, and they had me out in an hour for my starter replacement. My favorite aspect is that they do not upsell by saying you need XYZ. Will definitely be back in the future.

Drove from DFW to get my daughter's car fixed last Friday. Texas Tech student. Most places closed on weekend. Took it to Brady's Saturday morning, I was thinking it might just be the alternator. Was told it might not be until late Monday or Tuesday because they were very busy. After explaining i was coming from DFW they said let us see what we can do. They called saying they would get it done even if they had to stay late! They did a great job, car fixed!! Reasonable price. I would definitely go back and recommend! Great people and customer service!

So I had a bad experience with another auto mechanic in town, had no communication skills and no desire to get my truck done. So I brought it to Brady's. Wanted them to change out my exhaust manifolds both driver and passenger, and also fix my rear diff and service it. Thought it would take a week. Took it in on Thursday, they told me that it probably wouldn't get looked at till the next day, that was the case, but they got it checked out that next day, got me a price and began work. Even called and let me know that they didn't have the right part but what they had would work. We went through with it. Told me it would be done that following Tuesday. Well it was actually done a day early and the price didn't ever change and they did a fantastic job. 10 out of 10 performance. Thats how you run a business. Oh and another little side note. The shop was really clean and organized. I know how to work on vehicles pretty well myself just dont have time for it all the time. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing a hood reliable mechanic thats pretty fair priced. Will be using them again.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I've been bringing my cars to this shop for repairs for 20 years, beginning when it was Dan's Auto and Brady was the go-to grease monkey. The work has always been excellent, and the shop backs it with honest and friendly customer service. Brady is running the place now, so his hands are cleaner at the end of the day when I pick up my vehicle, but the quality of the work is still top notch.

Not only do I personally use Brady s for all of my families vehicles, but we also utilize them for our company fleet vehicles. They have always been honest and stand behind their work. Brady and his mechanics are the real deal. Had some trouble with another shop in town pulling the old switcheroo on me with the price after I dropped off my vehicle. So I called around. Brady got me in and out same day and beat their price by $120! And he did great work. This is the place for your automotive repairs.

Bradys is the best!! I was fixing to travel out of town when my car started showing an error light. I took it to Bradys where they got to me in a timely manner and helped solve my problem so I could get on the road. Both Robin and Brady were helpful and professional, so much so that I have sent my parents to them. I highly suggest using Bradys Automotive! Great honest people!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This is the place to get your car repaired! They're great, the people, the service, and the prices. I took my car in with the brakes in horrible shape from a rock that got stuck, and they fixed it, it's better than ever, I will definitely be back for all my auto repairs.Thank you Brady's Automotive

Our daughter is a student at TT. We called them based on google and yelp reviews for an appointment to check out our daughter's 1st used car (we live in NC). In short, Brady's Automotive (Robin & Brady) saved us! We had to purchase another used car for our daughter in less than 24 hours and they helped us find a dealership, sales person and did an inspection on the car. They define 'the kindness of strangers'. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience. Will definitely will be using them again next time we need car repairs. There is always going to be a few days wait at any automotive car repair place, but these guys tried there level best to be as quick as possible....have to appreciate their best effort put forth
