My keys are 7-8 years old and finally needed new batteries. I was in and out in under 5 minutes! Fast service, helpful and very polite.

Today I called this location and spoke with Kendrick, from beginning to end this experience was %100 amazing! I needed a new battery for my car and being in a tough spot needed the best deal and quality. Kendrick went over my options and explained everything to me, when he saw a possible issue he came and explained it, he got his manager when he needed to be sure he could correctly help me with no future issues due to my car needing a special battery. This was all at 8am! I haven't had this type of customer service, especially this early in the morning in an extremely long time. Dwane was the manager and he was so pleasant to talk to. Thank you!! We will return!

The location on 82nd and Milwaukee is the worst. There was two gentlemen there today when I came in at 5:20 very rude very disrespectful acted as if I was a bother just coming into the store, finally a gentleman named Antqwon helped me and was WONDERFUL. If I was you just go to the University location or only work with Antqwon the others are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Battery Joe has earned a loyal customer in me for the foreseeable future. I was leaving work any my battery would turn, so I had to have it jumped and immediately started calling places in town all of which were open and would be open for the next hour. The first two places I called said they couldn't install it but could sell me one, well it was raining so that wasn't going to work. So I called the 82nd st location and they said absolutely we can fit you in as soon as you can get here. I pulled up and they promptly asked what they could help me with, and they actually already had my battery ready because I had called ahead! It was a smooth process and I had the please of having Mitchell change my battery. We talked about school and life and he was a true pleasure in helping calm me down from my stressful situation. Thank you Battery Joe on 82nd St! I will be back.

Recently took my phone in for simple screen repair, I should ve checked to see if all functions worked before I left the store, but I was stoked just to see phone working again . Brought it home to just to find out the receiver speaker wasn t working and battery port doesn t work at all . Everything worked prior, all I needed was to fix a cracked screen. Asked them about it and got the run around , probably just to charge me extra no doubt . Save your money , try any other Cell phone repair company .

I took my old phone in today with the sole purpose of getting a new battery in order to back up my iCloud so I could then update my new phone. I told the employee this when I dropped it off and he mentioned that he might be able to put a battery in it, back up my iCloud and then give the phone back without charging me but he d need to talk to his boss. I thought it was so nice of him to even offer this but I didn t really think they d be able to do that without charging me. When my husband went in to pick up the phone, another employee had finished the job and apologized because he was unaware of the original plan to only put the battery in to back up the phone and he d thrown the old battery away. He gave us the new battery, offered us the warranty on it and didn t charge us a dime. I would have completely understood if they charged us for the new battery for this mistake and wouldn t have been upset at all because I thought it was very nice of them to even offer to back up my phone for free in the first place. I don t think I ve ever written a review but I also don t think I ve ever received service like this before. I was so shocked that we weren t charged and so thankful that they backed up my iCloud for me so that I wouldn t lose all of the pictures of my kids!!! We ve used battery joe multiple times in the past and have always had good experiences but this just exceeded them all. I ll never go anywhere else. Thank you!!!

Really disappointed. Went in with a smart watch that needed a battery because "batteries for everything" right? Nope - barely gave it a look - never checked to see what battery it needed - just waved me off with "we don't have those".

When I left my iPhone the young man told me a price of right at $100. I asked about a $20 coupon and he said ok it will be around $80. When I picked it up he informed me the sale didn't include screens. I mentioned that he should know the correct prices if he is going be giving them, so he gave me 10% off instead. It ended up being $97, and he was a smart a$$ about the whole thing, and I guess I was as well.

These guys were super helpful! I bought a boat battery in another city, because I was stranded on the lake, and in short order the battery wouldn't start my boat. They warrantied it for me and I was able to get a ew one even though I didn't buy it from them. I'll be going back to them for my next battery too!

Had to get my car battery replaced and they were super nice and quick! I was in and out within 30 minutes. Also the cheapest out of all the stores I called.

They are so unprofessional, do not know how to fix phones, and they do not care that they do horrible repairs and customers have to return several times after repairs. I had to bring my phone back three times after getting screen replaced. Girlfriend had her phone crashing every 5 mjns after they replaced back screen. They still do not know what they have done to the phone to make it crash. They have not handled the situation well at all. We expect them to make repairs to the phone. We will never return after this. Thank you for showing me how you handle business when your company repairs phones loll.

Disappointing customer service from a kid named Justin who couldn t be bothered. His chair was just too comfortable to motivate him to make a sale. We were there to purchase a car battery but his disdain prompted us to turn around and go to Midas. The same battery there was $5.00 more but the customer service was on point! I suggest management motivate their employees, it s affecting your bottom line.

I bought a battery from them about 4 months ago and my car got put in the shop. So the guy from the shop calls me that the battery died i guess from sitting there and was going to charge it. So I told him that's fine and if for some reason it didn't hold charge to let me know so I can take it back where I got it. Well it didn't hold the charge so I called battery Joe's and they told me as long it took some charge over 8 they would replace it so I droped it to have it checked and they called me and told me it was bad and had gotten to a 9 but that his manager said I have to take the car in to test the car to make sure it's nothing on the car that messed it up. So I told him how can I bring yall the car without a battery so I told him I'll just buy one somewhere else and I'll never buy anything from them ever again.

FYI, I cracked the screen on my phone, which is about 6 month old. It's a Samsung s20 ultra.Took it to Battery Joe's and they replaced the screen. Not cheep but a whole lot less than a new phone. Yet it turned out to be less then they estimated. They did an excellent job. They do a lot of work on phones including new batteries. Just so you know. Good job!!

This place is amazing. I had to get my battery changed today and Brett went above and beyond to assist me. This car did not make the battery change easy, however Brett was great throughout and was willing to take as much time as needed to get the job done. Will be a customer for life !

I went to this Battery Joe location on April 13 to have a battery replaced in my Macbook pro. The guy that works on laptops, Bo, said that they did have a battery in stock, but that it was in Amarillo and would take a week to get to Lubbock, but he would call when it came in. I agreed and waited. On April 21, the batter was put in my computer and I left. I immediately had serious issues with the battery where it wouldn't power my computer for more than 30 minutes. I took it back the very next day and Bo told me that battery had been sitting around for 3 years. He offered a refund, but said that he could order a new battery (from a different vendor) and replace it for no cost. I figured it was better to let him work on the computer, so I agreed and he said that he would order that right away and it would be about a week. He put my old battery back in as a temporary fix.I went for another two weeks waiting for a call back. When I did call to get an update his employees said they would get messages to him, but they are either irresponsible or incompetent, because the messages never got to him. When I finally got ahold of Bo, he told me the battery was delivered to another one of the Lubbock locations and would call me back the next day. Another week passed by with me calling, his employees losing messages, and finally getting him on the phone where he informed me the other store simply sold the battery to someone else. He had to reorder the battery. Another three weeks passed by and the same story with the other employees losing messages.I went to the store on June 19 as they opened and wanted to talk to Bo. They said that he wouldn't be in until 10:30. I walked out of the store and came back on my lunch break. I was told he was there, but was finishing a job. I gave them my computer and I sat in the store and was seen multiple times by the employees there. Within 15 minutes, Bo came out and had my computer done with the new battery in it. I asked about getting my money back and he agreed because of the ridiculousness of the whole scenario. I was given the original amount back and left. The level of incompetence and lack of care for the customer at the this store is shocking. I don't know about the other stores, but this particular location has colored my opinion of the chain as a whole. I will never again visit a Battery Joe location because of the terrible experience I've had with them and will highly discourage anyone from visiting them if asked.

So thankful for the great employees at Battery Joe! My car broke down near their shop yesterday. We were trying to see if my battery was the issue while waiting on a tow. Without hesitation, Mitchell came over to help, taking time out of his day to assist us. We quickly determined the battery wasn t the issue- but wouldn t have been able to do so without his help. So appreciative of his assistance during this difficulty. As soon as I need a new battery (once I have a working vehicle), I will be back to battery joe! Thank you

Note: Before reading my reviews, understand that anytime he told me about the screw and stuff being stripped, he was saying it as if to cover himself and the company so they don't have to fix or re-do anything. He lied, lied, and lied some more. It was embarrassing.Terrible employees caught in lie after lie. I came in to get a new battery in a truck and the install went okay. I was told with tax the repair would run 119.06 with tax, ended up paying a little over 127. But that's fine, just needed a new battery.A week later and I am opening the hood to check my pressure in my AC and I go to start the truck and there's no power, I look at the battery and check if the connections are tight and the negative terminal is incredibly loose. I see the screw looks crooked, so I figured it was cross-threaded so I did not want to touch it. The screw edges were slightly stripped, so I called Battery Joes and I tell them the terminal is loose and they need to send someone in their mobile truck to my location and fix it. They tell me their truck is in the shop and they can't get out there until tomorrow at noon. So I get the truck started and head up there.I get there and a red head guy walks out and says "Oh I remember changing the battery on this truck, I remember doing it" and I look at him and tell him "You're not the guy who changed the battery on this truck" and his tone changes to rude and he says "No, you're talking about David, the more heavy-set guy, right?" And I said "Yes". He said "Yeah he told me about this truck and said the screw was stripped prior to the repair" and I ask him "Why wasn't this brought up when doing the repair" and he said "Let's check it out" so I pop the hood and this guy then goes to grab a wrench and slips at the tongue by saying "That's not stripped" and I asked what he said and he was hesitant to say it's not stripped. And I say "you just told me the screw was stripped prior to the repair and if it's stripped you don't cover that" and then he turned his tone again and said "he must have put on a new screw for you without charging you, he should have charged you" and I look at my receipt, I'm glad I kept because I'm pretty sure I would have never received help, so I just say "okay" and after he tightens the screw I leave. As I was pulling out I see their truck sitting there in the parking lot in the back, it wasn't in the shop. I get home to check the screw to see if it was new and one of the edges has rust on it. Weird, I didn't know their screws they replace (supposedly) on trucks will start to rust in a week. Must be some cheap parts.Either way, I will go out of my way to spread the word on this God awful company and I will never give them business again.I herd tons of bad things and thought it was just a fluke, nope. It's true.Over priced and terrible employees.

Went to have the screen on my phone fixed, was quoted a one hour wait time. Four hours later they still didnt have the phone ready and made some excuse about the screen not fitting properly...on an iPhone. Went outside smoked a cigarette and when I came back in the phone was magically fixed. Unprofessional employees who will lie to your face. Will never do business here agian your better off going somewhere else.

Prices high. Refused to give me a warranty if I didn't give them my code to my phone (needed a screen replacement). Would have been ridiculous to five then access to my phone for hours. I could have proven everything worked before I gave it to them, therefore if they broke something it was their fault. Also they warned me if the back part of my phone broke while they were trying to replace front screen I would have to pay for a replacement

I wish I could give a better score but they were not any help. I went not once but twice to get my phone battery fixed and they couldn t fix the problem . When I went the second time to tell them the battery wasn t charging and no responding to me charging it they told me it wasn t their problem and I was so shocked I just walked out. I wish I didn t spend my money on the disrespect I got from there.

I recently had my phone screen repaired. They did damage my phone during the repair, but the manager graciously took responsibility and replaced the phone with a new one. I am very thankful that they made their mistake right. I will definitely continue to take my business to them.

Was able to change my battery on the iPhone in 1 hour for $20 after coupon. The authorized Apple place wanted an appointment the next day, 4 hours with the phone and almost $100....

Good service and products. Only problem is that not all employees were wearing masks despite having a sign at the door that masks were required. And this at a time when covid has forced a partial shutdown? You can do better!!!

37 bucks for a galaxy s3 battery...are you kidding me? I walked out the second they told me the price...Amazon is where I will continue to go for my future cell phone battery needs. Had this one now for 8 months and works excellent, so I don't want to hear any more about "Oh but that's not as good as what WE'VE got.

Brought my own new oem battery dated January 2019 was charged 40 to change on a Samsung note 5. Opened to verify the battery because it kept discharging in 4 hours. Date on battery in unit was March 2015. Want to believe this was a simple error, they were so very nice, but hey who knows? Make sure you get the right service by asking to see the old battery afterwards.12 hours later... Update!Just got a call from Jeremy at Joe's battery. Evidently a mix up at the repair station and the old battery was put back into the phone. They called me and made things right immediately! Now that is 5 star service and great response. After this, what can I say... I highly recommend the 82nd street store! Thanks Jeremy, you made our day!
