Pick up several batteries for UPS battery back up. The staff was excellent and patient. Took a bit to find our DPS account and get the payment to work but they are fantastic.

I kept putting off the simple task of replacing the battery in my key fob, shouldn't have waited. The guys st Battery Joe took care of it in less than 5 minutes and it cost me almost nothing. Go see them today!

These guys are amazing. Replaced my fingerprint sensor and didn't even break my original back cover on my Samsung. Had a spare just in case but didn't need it. Phone works great again!Thanks for the quick service.

I have an old car battery that doesn't like the cold at all - I have jumper cables, but nobody to help give me a jump so I called these guysIt took two hours from the time I called, but it was free so who's complaining?Also, of the 3 battery joe locations in Lubbock, this one was the only one available to offer free jump-start today (other 2 locations had manager off for the day) so 2 hours wasn't so bad considering the fact that they were probably very busy.

Worst store and customer service ever.Tried to buy a battery manager ran my card twice said this machine isn't working, moved to next register, ran my card twice said this isn't working either, can u come back tomorrow the computer has been acting up all day... I say yes, next day I discovered my card had been charged twice, after two weeks they removed one charge, its been over a month and won't return email or phone calll......

Battery joe sent out an employee to come help me with a boost for FREE !!. Very friendly worker also provided me with information on batteries they had , definitely will be giving them a call again if ever needed .

I brought my phone here about a month ago to get my screen replaced. Their prices were super reasonable and their service was fast. With that being said, I'm thoroughly disappointed with the quality of work. My screen randomly stops working, and I have to lock and unlock my phone several times in order to get it to work again. I can't get through a whole message without it glitching out. I had to completely buy a new phone because I could not handle the screen problems anymore. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue.

Worst waste of money, they did so many things wrong and were super sketchy with their service services. My iPhone 11 screen broke so I decided to take it there to get fixed, and I can t use True Tone anymore after the replacement. As soon as I got my phone back, I got notifications from settings that said unable to verify this iPhone has genuine apple display . When I called to ask why my phone said that they said not to worry about it and the message will disappear in about a week. I felt like this is something they should have definitely disclosed before service. I have had several other issues with my screen as well, my screen is literally coming off because they didn t put it on right. I have never written a bad review before but I m so unhappy with their service, do not do phone repair services here. It was so sketchy and I can t even trade in my iPhone anymore because it doesn t have an actual iPhone screen.

While my new Iphone X battery was installed and completed successfully on 7/20/2020, I would encourage Battery Joe staff to follow through and ensure they are emailing or making contact with customers upon service completion at the email or phone number listed on the form completed when phone is dropped off. This is the purpose of entering exactly how you can be reached upon service completion on as the form request. I asked the Store Technician who I would be receiving an email from and he indicated himself as he was the technician who would be repairing my phone. I dropped my phone off at approximately 11am and had to email my spouse to call he store around 4:15pm to inquire about the status of my phone. I learned the service was already completed around 2:45pm. As many of us use our cell phones for business i would have appreciated an email as specifically requested when service was completed for my phone. This was the only part of service that was unsatisfactory.

My client uses an iPad for a communication device because she s nonverbal. Twice this store has replaced a screen on her device within a couple of hours. We are very grateful; because her device is her voice.

I recently took my iPhone to Battery Joe s on 19th for a screen repair after my screen was damaged. The quality of work has been unsatisfactory. The screen glitches throughout the day, and will press buttons without being prompted. My phone has made and ended multiple calls since my screen was repaired. Additionally, many of the features of the iPhone screen were lost during the repair, such as True Tone and transparency settings, these are things that were never mentioned to me that would happen. My FaceID has not worked since the repair, and the screen will not turn off when I am on a phone call. These are all issues that I have noticed within the day of repair and I would not be surprised if I discover more. I now have a iPhone with more issues than before. I am very disappointed with this repair.

I highly recommend this place for anyone needing to have their iPad screen repaired! The staff I dealt with was very nice and informative! They answered all of my questions very courteously and they seemed as if they really cared about what my needs were at the time. The only thing that was somewhat uncomfortable to me was the final price that I paid for my screen repair and a new charger for the iPad just because it was slightly more pricey that what I had originally thought. However, I knew how badly my screen and the tablet were banged up, so the price was not unbearable considering the labor it must have taken to fix it! I really enjoyed my experience with this company and I would definitely return in the future!

Could not have had a better experience here. My phone screen was busted so bad I thought it wasn't going to be able to be fixed, but they did an amazing job and put a protecter screen on as well at a discounted price. I've busted my screen a few times and this place was the best at fixing my screen for the best price. Would recommend going here to anyone!

Gotta say Bob at Battery Joe was one of the kindest businesspeople I've seen in Lubbock. Had a dead battery and he came out and replaced it almost immediately. Bob was cordial, generous, and even drove back to my house to deliver the receipt. I wish we weren't moving, because I'd gladly do business with them again and again. Thanks, Bob!

This place is awesome!! So quick and easy! Preston and Donte tried to charge my battery (it was really, really dead lol), checked it's voltage, and replaced in less than 30 minutes! So grateful for these guys! Also the student discount didn't hurt, either! Really great experience here.

I have never been more dissatisfied with the professionalism of a business. I brought my daughters iPhone 5 here to be fixed and left before I was even able to get that done! The manager at this place is horrible! He was obviously drunk and made several sexual comments to me in my less than 10 minutes in the store before telling my 18 year old daughter she needed to wear less clothes and show off her body! I'm horrified mothers DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN TO GO IN THIS BUSINESS! That man is a disgusting pig!

Great fast service. Have had multiple screens replaced (my fault dropping them). Best place in town. Batteries are always reasonable as well. Highly recommend.

Helped out above and beyond what they needed to do. Had to have a part shipped across the country and employees were extremely helpful and patient. Matt is probably the best employee in the world of customer service. Would highly recommend for cell phone repair.

Wouldn't recommend. Took my iPhone 5 here to get the lock button replaced, which they did just fine, but afterward my phone was really messed up.Now I can't charge phone without it shutting off every minute or two, and the displayed battery percentage never changes. My phone won't stay on long enough to back up, either.Took it back to see what they could do, and they said it was either a software problem or a problem with the motherboard. I didn't change the software in the few hours between getting it fixed and taking it back, so they clearly messed up some of the internal hardware without ever specifically admitting so.Ended up getting the money for the repair back, but I would have never gotten the button fixed if I had known it was going to ruin my phone.The customer service was very friendly, though. They were very nice about getting me my money back, but I wish they wouldn't have avoided talking about how they might have actually made a mistake while repairing my phone, rather than blaming it on the software suddenly changing right after I took it there.

It s sad on how I went to get my iPhone 6 screen replaced and was told that if I were to crack the screen then I can automatically get the screen replaced. I went back to get the screen replaced again because I had warranty on the screen I was later told that it s been voided. Nice to know that I was lied too from the manager and also the employees.

Employees were very courteous and provided prompt service replacing batteries in my watch and cell phone. I was given a 10% discount coupon at the University Ave. store to use at the 19th St. store because they did not have the cell phone battery in stock. I was also told they give discounts to active military and veterans, which I will take advantage of in the future. Nice store, nice folks to deal with.

I took my phone in to have it repaired, they seem to use cheap, chinese knock-off parts because my phone said "minghong" where it was supposed to say "samsung". About 6 weeks after I got it back the screen stopped working. In the end I paid a decent amount of money for some inconvenience. I can't recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances.

Today, my car battery was dead. They come and give a jump start for free, check my battery, and suggested me to go to auto repair shop for alternator replacement. Did not charge a single penny. They were very helpful.

The service was good, but I have had issues with the phone screens not lasting long and not being worth the purchase because they break down often. When they replace your screen they give you a life time warranty (this doesn t include cracks or operator error problems).

Bought a new battery approximately 6 months ago from Battery Joe's. It died in the recent snowstorm and they came out and put in a new one during the driving snow and sub-10 degree weather, no questions asked. Very impressed.

My husband had his Galaxy s10+ glass replaced and when it came back, the speaker was really messed up and we could hear and feel rattling in the phone as if the whole inside was disconnected. The cost was super expensive so we expected the phone to at least be handled with care. Now its gonna cost more to fix the inside. Also management is trash.

I needed a watch battery. I gave it to them with my name then left to get groceries at Market Street. Came back and they remembered me, got my watch, registered me and had me out of there in no time. Friendly, quick, thorough service.and reasonably priced. What more could I expect?
