I had two cars damaged due to hail and David @ McDaniels was really good. He kept me in the loop on the entire process which can be a lot when dealing with insurance. Though my vehicles were beyond repair their service and communication was very good. Would recommend.

My car was recently involved in an accident and this was the body shop of my choosing. The people are very nice and they treat you as if you are a long lost friend. They were able to be very transparent with me through this unfortunate situation. Although my job prevented me from getting my vehicle to them in a timely manner, the staff were professional, friendly and got my car back to me sooner than I thought they could. The work was top notch. Couldn't ask for better people.

This is the best place I've ever dealt with. A lady run over the rear of our Kicks while I was in my Dr's office. Pretty much show up, tell a small bit of what's going on & then it's pretty much all in their hands, if you want them to do whatever work. We were told that it could be between 3-5 weeks to complete the work. We were getting a call before 2 complete weeks. We just had to tell the insurance company that we wanted this company to fix our car. I promise, the wait to get your vehicle fixed is so worth it. No run around. Straight forward, no hassle, get it done people. Recommend to any & everyone.

McDaniel body shop was on top on fixing my VW Tiguan. They communicated well, and understood that I needed my vehicle back at a certain date. They were so professional, and have amazing service! My car came back better than new. Will always go here for all my repairs.

My car was towed here roughly 3 months ago and deemed totaled. I sent the paperwork and title off to the insurance to release ownership . Today the insurance company called and asked me where my vehicle was. I told them that the last I d seen of my vehicle it had been towed to this establishment. After doing some research, they called to tell me that my vehicle was in fact still at McDaniels and that I needed to call and verbally release it. Again, this vehicle was towed away in oct or nov of 2023 and I haven t heard from McDaniels at all. I called McDaniels and I m told that It s the Insurance s job to tell me that I need to go to their shop and release the vehicle. Well The insurance didn t know where it was which sounds like McDaniels didn t contact me or them after the initial estimate. Insurance also said that all body shops have their own release policies so the body shop is supposed to reach out to me. Not to mention this body shop did call and ask me to come in and sign a release the last time my car was totaled. (I reversed the claim and got it back) So some how this time my car has just been sitting on their lot and they hadn t contacted me or the insurance about it for THREE MONTHS but now after I had to contact them, I GET A TEXT MESSAGE TO LEAVE A REVIEW 5 HOURS LATER! THE IRONY!!! Seems like my phone number was on file the whole time. So here is my review. I don t plan to use them or refer them to anyone. They almost always say it a total loss. This is the second time they have totaled. The first time it was totaled was because they refused to work on my front drivers side fender because my front bumper was damaged and they didn t want to wire it back together despite my having record of two different accidents and only needing the fender done. Nope. I agreed to total but then reversed the entire claim. I then took it to Caliber Collision. They did the split work and I had my car back in 3days. I originally planned to use Caliber Collision (now my go to shop) this time but they were booked out a month when the accident happened. Honesty I d probably still have my car if I had just waited.

I was recommended to take my 2017 F450 to McDaniels after a blown tire busted my frount left finder, bumper and steep. Mcdaniels did a repair estimate and I agreed to have the work done. I did tell Mcdaniels that I did not need a new wheel and steep placed on my truck as I have ordered aftermarket wheels and tires with different steep rails. I was told no problem as I informed them before anything was ordered. There was a lot of work to be done and knew it would take time and a little over a month my truck was complete. I went to pick it up and the repair was a few thousand over the estimate I had seen originally, no worries but I wanted to see what more was needed. I noticed I was charged for a wheel and steep for the left side of the truck and it was placed on the truck. I was pretty much told tough luck take it or leave the truck there. I need my truck so what can you do?! After getting in my truck in the parking lot I had water standing in my console where my USB plugs are and submerged, with more water in the floor of the passenger side. I walked back and told them as they did have to pull the windshield during the repair. The water tested but found no leaks and said one of the guys must have spilled a drink of water in it. I also noticed the antenna was missing off the truck, plastic cover was broken either during the removal or installation of it, as it was not broken before hand. I brought it all to the representative before ever leaving the parking lot. I was told it would be replaced. On my was home with the truck I got pulled over for a license plate on the rear of the truck being missing, received a ticket and called Mcdaniels and ask if they had it. They did and told me it would be at the desk. I picked it up the next day, without the license plate bracket or bolts, so I had to go buy bolts, a bracket and install it myself. 3 weeks after it all and I have yet seen the antenna, or the busted bracket. Guess I'll be buying that as well.So I got more parts than I wanted costing more money, missing parts that was there to begin with, looks like I'll be buying. USB ports that my sort out soon do to them spilling water in my truck and leaving it long enough for the coins to get tarnished. And a ticket I had to pay do to a license plate not being reinstalled, that I had to pick up, buy bolts and a bracket and install myself. You would think after 23k job you would get your truck back competed and clean. The work they did repair was great but I would not recommend Mcdaniels in longview do the the quality control.

I had my vehicle repaired here due to someone crashing into me. Their email updates were great to keep me in the loop. All the people up there are very nice & professional. My car was ready before the expected date too, so that is great! They also vacuumed & cleaned my car when it was ready! I will be recommending everyone I know to go to McDaniels! Thank you!

I had a lady hit my car in the parking lot. I took it to McDaniels Body Shop and Clint gave me my estimate. I brought it in to get repaired. I have to be honest I was really skeptical on how well they would do on the repairs of my truck being that it has a three stage paint and I was worried about it being matched but when I went to pick up the truck, I was blown away by the quality of work that was done from start to finish. It was a great experience from talking to Elvis, the estimator and the office staff and the body shop employees were great. I couldn t of asked for a better experience, so if you re looking for bodywork or painting, don t hesitate, use McDaniels body shop in Longview Texas.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
