I wanted to love these guys, they are super cool and friendly. I dropped off 2 shafts to be rebuilt- one for a customer of mine, and one for me. Sadly, after almost 1 month I had to come get them as they hadn't been started yet. I took to Longview Gear And Axle and they had them done the next day, and they turned out fantastic. I'm sure they do good work, and I know it's hard to get decent people that want to show up for work. I advise this shop to privide transparency to their customers up front and good communication with customers to avoid further situations like this.

This guy really knows what he's doing!!! We dropped off our busted drive shaft at 11:15 and he was finished by 11:45! He was very well priced and just all around was just the positive note that was needed to turn this horrible day around. I Highly recommend this shop to anyone with a 4x4. Thank You for Everything!

The people that run this shop are so kind! Needed to get my carrier bearing put onto my shaft, realized I forgot my money at home and he let me just bring it back! Now my truck is driving again and I am so happy!

I took my truck in with a vibration and they were able to track it down in my driveline. Vehicle drivers tons better. Three other shops in town could not fix this issue. These guys are good.

They are doing their best to help me. I need to replace parts on my front end of my 2010 Ram 1500 4x4. I have a 4" Rancho lift that needs tie rod ends. This item is out of stock.

These guys are absolutely the best. I was told by a mechanic in a nearby town that I needed a whole new rear axle. It would have cost $2500 had I gone through with it. After ordering a rebuilt rear axle for $1800 I called around to see who could install for the lowest rate. When I called and asked if they could install it, Jacob said he d be surprised if I needed to go that route. I canceled the order, took my truck to them the week of Christmas and they opened it up and replaced all bearings and completely fixed it for under $1,000 in two days. Truly the best experience I ve had with a mechanic.Service: Transmission

If you're needing any sort of 4x4 or drive shaft work done in East Texas, this is the place to take it to. The staff is very knowledgeable and very easy to work with and know exactly what you need without any issues. Price is always great and service is even better.

They replaced my cv joint axels quickly and efficiently. They are very knowledgeable and passionate with their work. It took them literally about 10 mins to figure out what s wrong with my truck. They weren t after trying to overcharge, as the prices were very competitive with others. Customer service was spot on. They followed through with everything they said they were going to do.Very honest, and go above and beyond. Anything 4 wheel drive give these guys a chance!!

Everyone entering and leaving Longview on 31/259 knows where Longview Drive Shaft is. That's because their bays and parking lot are almost always full. Walk in, and you will see dozens of driveshafts being picked up and dropped off. The bays are full with vehicles getting work done including lifts, bumpers, etc.None of this is because Longview Driveshaft is slow; in fact they have always returned driveshafts to me faster than promised. I have also gotten custom axle u bolts made there and they were made in just a few minutes (faster than amazon, if amazon even had them). They put on shocks when I had trouble with them.This is a small business that looks busy because they do a great job and therefore are busy. They are communicative and happy to answer questions. If the knowledgeable people at the main desk don't know an answer, they get the expert in the shop to give it.Really helpful. They do great work. That's why they are so busy.Highly recommended for any work they undertake.

As an owner operator in the oil field being broke down costs me money. Needing repairs to my PTO I went to this shop. Jacob really saved me...he repaired my drive shaft without charging me an arm and a leg. In the future I will be sure to recommend these guys to any other owner operators who are in need of repairs. I like to work on my own stuff but my father is getting older and he doesn't. He uses them and they have always done a good job. When we have asked about certain things on the truck the two young men know there stuff or will tell you who to go to when they don't. If i was going to take me truck to anyone it would be here.

I did not get a driveshaft made from them but I gave them 5 stars because they give extraordinary customer service they are very respectful very polite and they are extremely knowledgable about driveshafts and give great feedback. They are not out to get your money like some places out there now a days they want customer satisfaction and the user to end up with the right product for them.

Great service. Jacob went above and beyond to help me with a drive shaft flange. He even met me near my house to get the part and also met me when it was fixed. I highly recommend.

Quality shop with poor customer service. Misdiagnosed vibration in cab as 'loose' u joints and billed me $310 for replace and repair. Problem persisted and I narrowed it down to faulty pinion or axle bearing after research. Cecil seemed put out when I brought my axles to his shop to have my bearings pressed on for half hour's flat rate (something that probably took 20 minutes). My guess is when you're there to spend plenty of money, you're worth their time and effort, but if you want something quick and simple.. I'd go elsewhere.

Got my truck lifted there but they didn't know how to trim the fenders. I went to longview wheel & tire, and they fixed the problem. Called Cecil to reimburse me for the extra money I had to spend to get the job done right but he blew me off. Never again will I go there.

Friend went here, Brake line ran on transmission, Gas line purposely knotted, Gas line squeezed with pliers, Ran gas line around front shock, Regulator mounted rubs on front shock, Fuel line also sags down, they built a front drive shaft that is too short, And thats not even all the problems. They charged 2x the quote, and took 3x longer to finish than said, Charged for parts that werent used. DO NOT GO HERE. Go somewhere else, why take the chance when you can go somewhere with better reviews.

Changed my 44s out to D60 s in my old K5 they mailed me my new shafts already loaded with joints almost felt like they undercharged me!

They're honest but not all that knowledgable... Yuppie 4x4 builders, not fabricators... Overwhelmed, couple more guys working would go a long way...
