I've been going here for years and have always been treated very courteously and fairly. The owner has gone over and beyond my expectations from such a business. I recommend to all and will continue to be a loyal customer. Thank you for everything you do here at Kwik Kar.

I went there today because I was in longview and need to get a oil change and fuel filter on my 23 half ton chevy diesel. I have had it changed before in my hometown of Hughes Springs for $89 I like to fell out when he said $237. I ask him what in the hell was so high. He said I have to pay for this place it ain't free. I didn't expect I would have to make 2 months payments. This was way high. He said I wouldn't find a cheaper place in longview. I told him I wouldn't be looking anymore in longview. Rediclous!!!!

I thought to finally take the time to write a review about my experience with this shop. Not a good one!! I am new to the area and was thinking how hard can it be to change the oil and transmission fluid? I took my car in thinking it shouldn't take to long, boy was I wrong! After an hour or so I heard an employee say he had a problem with the transmission pan? The gentleman doing the work had never done one come to find out, not something you want to hear. In the process he sheared a bolt off and bent up the pan. No one says a word to me as I see them scrambling around, making calls to find a tap to get the bolt out. We are going on about two hours now in which the gentleman doing the work tells me he's been on the job for a couple of days with no experience. While I paiently wait taking close to four hours being I arrived about one and finally was given my car back as they were closing around five. I'm thinking stuff happens and as long as the problem was taken care of I'm good to go. The next day I noticed transmission fluid all over my carport. I call them back to let them know, was told bring it in, we will take care of it. The next day about one I headed over there. Another close to four hours of waiting while they try a correct the mess they created. It's Thursday. I leave around five and head home. I get up in the morning to check it and notice fluid still seaping around the pan. I know what I'm looking at after working in a fabrication plant building machinery for twenty years. I call back on Friday to let them know, their not happy campers. They put it up on a rack and play around awhile then ask me to take a look. It appeared to have been wiped down and looked fairly clean. I head home its Friday. I check it repeatedly over the weekend and keep getting fluid off the bottom of the pan. I call Monday and tell them, the owner hangs up on me and I head down there. I give them the keys to the car to have another look. About maybe five minutes or less he walks in with a business card and some grease on one of the corners, tells me its not tyranny fluid and he's done with me!!! I keep checking it and finding fluid on the pan every day as well as fluid on the ground. I end up taking it to two different mechanics both confirming that's its leaking and the bolts were loose and appeared to be tapped in at an angle. I wait a few weeks and take it to a third mechanics, I'm told it appears to have possibly sealed itself over time and the seaping is very limited at this point. To keep an eye on it by checking the fluid periodically and it would probably be ok. At this point taking them to small claims court and wasting more of my time, literally hours and hours and expenses in doing so not worth my time.Take it for what it's worth, I never had a business hang up on me and tell me their done with me after their incompetence in performing a simple enough task! Really!!Avoid like the plaque! In reviewing other reviews I see where the owner lied directly to the customer. This is exactly what happened to me. After the damage occurred the owner tells me that employee is gone. Fired him, he says, not sure what he's thinking because I'm in there trying to have them fix the screw up and the guy is working on cars? Like I can't see!! What the!! How stupid can you be!! I don't think the employee should be fired. He should be trained before he is allowed to take on a job he has no clue what he's doing. It's the OWNER'S responsibility. To top it off the owners son jumps on his motorcycle as soon as he sees me pulling in on Monday, my fourth trip to have them fix it. Supposedly he was the one that fixed it the second time around. Told me he had years of experience, not to worry!! I'm sure maybe he has a lot of time performing his job without issues! All being said, I get it we all at times have had situations were it might not have gone as expected. When dealing with the public providing a service that you or an employee is trained to do and it's botched you take responsibility to make it right. Customer service is everything.Service: Transmission

Pulled in for an inspection with my 94 year old dad. Waited and watched the workers for at least 20 minutes. There were at least 12 workers and they looked like a bunch of baboons walking around and yelling. 2 girls and a guy, all in uniforms were dancing in the parking lot. Very unprofessional. I had no hopes for a proper inspection so we left and went somewhere else. I would hate to be the owner paying the wages for those nimrods!

We had a coupon. We presented it after the oil change because the coupon said nothing about exclusions and there was no signage about the coupons. The manger said we don t take those here. My response was, well I wish I would have known that ahead of time. His response was that I should of asked and then began trying to educate me on how this $97 oil change would have cost me $130 in Dallas. When I said it doesn t matter to me he berated me in front of other customers about my attitude when no voices had been raised from either party. If he had simply left it after I said I d wish I d known or had said I m sorry we didn t have signage to alert you I would have given a positive review. His final comment to me was, that s okay. Your one oil change doesn t matter.Service: Oil change

Do not take your vehicle to Kwik Kar Lube & Tune at 1620 Judson Rd. Longview Texas. On Wednesday, February 22, I took my truck in due to it leaking. The owner Kevin McCardell informed me that it needed a new water pump and that it would take about 4 to 5 hours to replacement it. Well, it took over 2 days. Once I came to pick it up they had not replaced my oil sensor, removed my AC fluids and didn t replace, my brake lights were on and now my air conditioning doesn t work!! They have refused to replace everything back. Again, They broke my air conditioning, but refused to fix it. Poor customer service.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The people working there went above and beyond helping me. They called the Jeep dealership for me & ordered the part I needed. I will go back in the morning to have the part installed. A customer that was waiting for his car told me how honest & trustworthy the people that owned the business were. I haven't been to a business like theirs in forever. It makes me feel good to know that there are people like them running a business that is located here in Longview.

Got an oil change on 4/15/2022 and my car started leaking oil over the weekend due to them leaving my oil cap off which caused other issues. Took my car back by today to let them know about the issue and that I had to pay $378 for their mistake and the owner was very rude. I never asked for them to reimburse me, just to check my oil to make sure there was oil still left in my car so it didn't mess up my motor. I've been going here for almost 4 years, but will never use them again. Poor customer service!Service: Oil change

Blew up the motor in my car by over filling it. Had to sue them and we settled out of court. Took me 760+ days to be made whole. Owner lied under oath.

Love them! So grateful they fixed my van s a/c in one day. We had to travel to MD Anderson for my dad the next day and really needed the a/c. They went to Tyler to get the part. Nobody likes to have to pay to get their car fixed, but they charged a fair price. They even give military discount.

They do a great job working on our car. They are also way cheaper than Firestone. Firestone quoted us $800 for a dianostic, tune up and fuel cleaning. Kwik Kar Lube was only $203 for the same service.

Have used them at lunch time every three months for oil and every year for inspections on an F150 and a Trooper. Always finished before i get done eating at the Mexican food place next door. Friendly good old boys. The inspector could have used a good hosing off but other then that... great place.

I went to this place for the first time. I asked for a basic oil change which didn't include tire service. The upgraded packages included checking tire pressure etc. At some point during the service they tried to replace a tire stem on my car and broke it. They offered to pay for a new stem if I took it down to the tire store. Once they found out that my tire had a tire sensor on it, they changed their tune and told me it was already broken when I came in. The sensor and stem cost me $100 in addition.to the $50 oil change. I gave them the opportunity to make this right and they just told me they felt like they were providing good customer service. If your customer service expectations are higher than this, don't spend a dime at this place. Bunch of crooks as far as I'm concerned. This is how you turn a $100 mistake into a much bigger one by not standing behind your service. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Went in to have my vehicle inspected and was told that the State computer system was down State wide and it couldn't be done for quite awhile. The next day I took it in to another establishment and they did it.I have already gone online with the State completed the vehicle registration with the State and received confirmation from them. If they were too busy when I took it in why not just say that?

In response to bullpupsks review. I do not work there anymore but right is right. I handled this customer. You brought your vehicle in handed the keys and went inside. No question anything. At the front desk is is posted the price and service which stated tires were to be checked. You had obviously hit something and the valve stem had cracked. There was no way the tech could have noticed and the valve core stripped out. Not only after trying to fix it and being successful enough to get you to the tire shop. I followed you up there. An hour later you call telling me that it was my responsibility to pay for you tire stem and sensor. The tire stem broke. Anything short of taking a hammer to it or hitting a curb..... could break it. I tried to do the best I could to make you happy but if they repaired every joker who tried this they would be broke. Like I said I don't work there anymore but I will stand up for what is right.

went today for the first time, am looking for a new place to go. asked for a basic oil change. they were nice, oil change was fast. on my way home is when the problem started. I could smell burning oil coming through my vents, with the AC running, I live 7.2 miles from there. I get home and start looking I find oil splashed on the engine and on my fan shrouds. then I looked at the ticket, and window sticker. instead of 5w20, which is stated on the oil fill cap, they put 15w40 into my engine. not quite sure where people are trained, or how one could think that was a good choice. If there was any question about oil type they should have come and asked me about it.

I brought my car here last Thursday to have them specifically check my transmission fluid. I had a transmission line leak and needed to know if I needed my car topped off in the meantime, I was leaving for a mechanic two hours away. After the $45 BASIC oil change, them came in to tell me that my transmission fluid is fine, nearly two quarts. Great. Super quick service. After this last weekend, getting my transmission lines changed, my mechanic showed me my transmission fluid... which he said was not even 1/2 quart and nearly black. I called today to talk them about it saying if it s something that couldn t be done or I needed to be charged accordingly, fine, but I was lied to. No one checked it. My mechanic said where you even check to look at the transmission fluid, you need to remove the mounts. That there is no regular dipstick to just check and the cap where you are supposed to check had to be pried off like it hadn t been checked in a long time. Let me point out- my mechanic didn t make EXTRA money off of me for saying this....he changed just the lines and put the correct fluids special ordered from the dealership as we discussed. Nothing more and nothing less. The owner of Kwik lube specifically said that my mechanic is LYING and that he didn t care. Verbatim. This is the worst service I have ever received in the car industry and you d be a fool to let these guys work on your car. The owner even said while I was there that he makes his money getting these cars in and out, not to spend time under the hood. I have pictures for proof and to be told that the lying is coming from my side is asinine. Shame on you.*IN RESPONSE TO THE REPLY* I called BEFORE to see if you could check my trans fluid and top it off if it needed it. Told the guy I was driving two hours to a mechanic who was going to replace my transmission lines. Your guy said it took bulk trans fluid (which it doesn t) and to come on in. When I got there, I decided to go ahead and get an oil change since I was at 12% life and had more driving to do. I came in, told you I talked to someone about the trans fluid but I d also like an oil change and then I CHECKED THE PART ON THE YELLOW PAPER ON YOUR CLIPBOARD (THE MIDDLE SELECTION) FOR THE OIL CHANGE THAT INCLUDES CHECKING FLUIDS.) I DID NOT CHECK THE BASIC OIL CHANGE. THATS WHAT YOU GUYS GAVE ME INSTEAD. I also mentioned a tire sensor could not have been reset on my new tire or maybe needed a new one, but YOU didn t even acknowledge it when you handed my keys back. That s neither here nor there, because it doesn t matter at this point and I didn t ask anything after. You told me that my fluid was fine at least 2 qts (even though it was low and BURNT AS HELL) and I asked how is that if there is a leak. You said it could just be seepage. I graciously accepted the news as decent enough news to go ahead and go. AND I LEFT. You never said don t drive anywhere (another lie) and the whole change/conversation MAYBE took 20 minutes all together. IF THAT. I called you at 11:00am from my house and was checked out at 12:03pm. My fluid looked basically black and was low. Period. You just keep adding all kinds of bularky onto this and calling me a liar. I know what I heard and what I saw, and what my mechanic who is making nothing more off of this has said. You only stood at a counter between me and a lube tech. $50 is steep for a basic oil change but, me, as a consumer will pay that for getting good service along with good customer service. I got neither there. I didn t want a refund but I also don t want to be called a liar. Since you don t care, words from your own mouth, maybe you should just leave it well enough alone. My review stays with that concern you gave me. I bid you good day, sir.

I have a Maserati Granturismo. I have tried to look at a place that can change engine oil on my car and called every where in Longview. Only I could find here. I would strongly like to recommend here cuz they are very specialized and accurate. I became a steady customer today. Thank you so much
