Overall good experience. Salesman didn't rush me and let me ask all my questions. I live in Tyler and didn't want to drive back to Longview to pick up plates so they mailed them to me. I appreciate that. Only reason it's not 5/5 is the dealer markup of approximately $2500 on the Mazda 3 I bought. This is in 2024, not 2021. After negotiating (which I dread every time I buy a vehicle), they removed it and sold car slightly under MSRP. So everything worked out well. Would definitely buy again here.

I called ahead of time to make sure the car I wanted was in stock. Ray McMurrey sent me pictures of the one I inquired about & walked me through every step of the buying process. Even topped off the gas before I drove my new Mazda3 hatchback home! Very happy with my car.

Deceptive practices in the finance department killed a good deal. When I declined a $140 fee for a 90 day supplemental theft policy the finance guy figured I wasn t a patsy and pulled the deal. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Our initial salesperson Mike was great. He had to leave with an appointment and we were handed off to the sales manager. We specifically asked to not send our information to multiple lenders. He tried double digit amount of lenders spelled our names wrong got the wrong last names. Kept our keys in his office and when my wife said she doesn't see anything she likes. He literally says "well lady your not gonna get everything you want". The next dealership we went to we got twice the amount on our trade they used one lender and had us out 1.5 hrs. On the exact car we wanted. One hand a very frustrating experience on the other I couldn't be happier it turned out the way it did.UPDATE: 3 WEEKS LATER WERE STILL GETTING LENDER MAIL. NOT A SINGLE LETTER HAS OUR CORRECT NAMES ON THEM, ALSO SENT THE INCORRECT NAMES TO THE SAME LENDER MULTIPLE TIMES. IF THERE IS WAY TO MAKE BB OR CB COMPLAINT SOMEONE PLEASE LET US KNOW. HIS TRIGGER HAPPY FINGER ON A BUNCH OF CARS WE DIDNT EVEN HAVE INTEREST IN HAS DROPPED OUR SCORE BY DOUBLE DIGIT POINTS!THE SECOND PHOTO IS WHAT WEVE RECIEVED THE PAST WEEK 4 WEEKS LATER USED OUR SSN WITH THE WRONG LAST NAMES. CAN NOT REPORT TO BBB BECAUSE THEY ARE A NON NETWORKED BUSINESS. I WONDER WHY?

B U Y E R B E W A R E giving a one star review because zero stars was not an option! Purchased a supposedly new vehicle from Gorman MacCracken in September of 2021 only to find out on September 25, 2023, when I went to renew my registration at the tax office, that my car was un-registrable in the State of Texas. Why?? Gorman McCracken was notified by Gregg County tax office in October of 2021 of multiple errors on the title. Did they work to solve the issue? No. Did they notify me of the problem? No. I learned on September 25, 2023, that my car was titled in Louisiana. It had been titled twice before I bought the car and once after I purchased the car, all in Louisiana. General Manager is of NO help! Seems his excuse is multiple clerical errors that can t seem to be corrected in TWO YEARS is the issue. PURE NEGLECT on Gorman McCracken is the issue! I have a car that I cannot sell, trade-in or even register! THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!

Worst place I ve ever been to. Snakes.Went to trade in my car. I was upside down on it. Salesman & the manager told me they were taking it, but were actually trying to walk me into a voluntary repossession. Because that s smart. When we went to close on a vehicle, they said We re not taking it (the trade). No one s gonna want to take that car from you. They ran my wife & I s credit an insane number of times and dropped scores by around 30 points. Wouldn t let me look at cars I was interested in but were trying to push cars they wanted to sell. &To top it all off, they actually had the nerve to ask me if I wear the pants in my marriage because I wanted to take my wife s opinion into consideration before making a decision. Told me it s my car and it should be my decision. Didn t know this was the kind of advice they were employed to give. Strongly advise against going to this place.

I went into McCraken Volkswagon today 4/11/23 to speak with the GM, concerning my car that my son had brought in last week for service repairs. Timming Change and Oil pan replacement. When my son picked the car up he stated that it didn't run the same , the turbo wasn't kicking in and it had a noise when driving. He went back to the dealership the same day to notify his advisor Matthew. Matthew and the Tech test drove the car while on a test run they had to pull over and wait a few minutes forthe car to com down, then they drove back to the dealership. So the Tech told my son that the car would drive different until the timming change was broke in since everything was tight. April 7,2023 my son car had ran hot on his way to Dallas , Tx dash splashed low coolant.The car was towed back to Longview, Tx dropped at McCracken this was Friday night(4/7/23) . Monday the report was from Matthew and Tech can't find any problems.SO THE PROBLEM IS McCraken Service Dept has JACKED MY CAR BY NOT MAKING SURE THAT ALL THE PARTS WERE BACK IN THE CORRECT PLACE AND ORDER. Causing another problem to happen with one of the gears, in turn causing anotherproblem costing and additional $7100.00WE WASN'T ABLE TO SPEAK WITH THE GM, WAS TOLD BY THE 1st SALESMAN THAT HE(GM) WAS BUSY AND THAT THE SERVICE MANAGER WOULD COME OUT TO SPEAK WITH US IN 10 MINUTES. WE NEVER SPOKE WITH THE GM OR THE SERVICE MANAGER ONLY ANOTHER SALESMAN( he was polite and went off to get information for us concerning my car that my son drives) AND MATTHEW THE SERVICE ADVISOR WHOM TOOK US TO THE BAY TO CHECK THE CAR.SO MUCH FOR THE TV COMMERCIAL" YOU"LL GIVE US A TRY".. Beware!!What ever happen to Honorring "Good Faith"

Their are so nice when you buy your vehicle. They do NOT like to honor the extra warranty you purchase. You pay extra money upfront for services you want. Then they act like they are clueless. Even when you show them the paperwork they want you to come back at a different time when another co-worker is on duty. HELLO! I'm the CUSTOMER! I shouldn't have to work around an employees schedule. Just like that employee shouldn't have to ask me when they can take off. BREECH of CONTRACT!

I have bought my last 4 cars from this place and have never had an issue. I called for service since my check engine light was on and the lady was like you can bring it and drop it off and we will tried to get to it. Ok fine but I do not know of anyone who can just leave their car for X amount of days at the dealership.

DO NOT BUY A MAZDA!! Purchased a NEW Mazda CX-5 in 2022, With less than three thousand miles, a trouble code showed up on dash that read Vehicle System Failure after some diagnostic efforts from the dealer it turned out that a debris in the road had struck and broken a exhaust sensor, which is not covered under warranty, to repair the issue the dealer stated that the WHOLE exhaust system would have to be replaced at a cost of three thousand dollars. That was on 7/25/22 the vehicle was transferred to a collision center so that the vehicle insurance would cover the repair less the deductible. It has been close to thirty days and counting and they still cannot get the parts to fix the vehicle. With that being stated after thirty days the insurance runs out on a rental vehicle and I will be stuck with rental car rates as well as this MAZDA payment that is SITTING at a shop. I am contemplating seeking legal counsel and researching Texas s Lemon Law. DO NOT BUY A MAZDA!! --Reply to Dealers Reply: So if one exhaust sensor is broken you expect a whole exhaust system to be replaced each time? at a cost of $3000 dollars, if this vehicle cannot be driven on east Texas roads with sticks limbs etc. which is common without going back to the shop each time then it is a poor design on Mazda's part . Not to mention the shop has been waiting on parts for a new vehicle for nearly 30 days?

Do not take your vehicle for service here. I took my mazda for timing belt replacement, but unfortunately, they didn't do a good job. My timing belt was off, and the vehicle died on the side of the road. They had the vehicle two weeks, and they were unable to fix it

I bought a CX5 here, purchase was OK, but engine light came on. Was hoping it was just because they failed to put the gas cap on. Had to take it back to dealership to get checked. They said it was nothing....? Then I took it back for first oil change. Driving home I smelled fumes, figured it was just some spilled oil. Turns out the oil cap was sitting on the radiator and oil was everywhere. Next morning I notice there is quite a bit of oil on my garage floor after smelling it on one of my cats. I call dealership because, I broke my back half a year ago and can't get under my car. Their response was to bring it back at earliest convenience. THERE IS NO EARLY CONVENIENCE. This is only mode of transportation and I work an hour away. Sitting here at dealership for an hour already missing work, wondering how much their screw up is affecting the life of my car.

Be careful working with there online team. I was sent pictures to a vehicle that once I said I wanted it, they doubled the price on me. Blamed it on internal miscommunication. When asked what they were going to do to make it right, he offered me $1000 off what it was listed at. Still $17,000 over our conversation!

Matt is a awesome salesman . He s a young guy who s passionate about Mazda because he even drives mazda as well and is extremely knowledgeable . You will NOT find this dealership as I a high pressure dealership . They let things happen on your terms and very very friendly staff .
