Scheduled an appointment with them and wrote it wrong in my calendar. Came in the day i thought my appointment was and it wasn't. But the owner didn't have anyone scheduled for the day and still took my car in. Knows so much about the LS vehicles and any others pretty much. Very good employees, service, and nice establishment . Would recommend this place to anyone for dyno tunes, repairs or LS swaps. These guys were great !

Stephen and his team at etmc is the real deal! Great honest people at an affordable price. My truck been missing for years. No one could fix it. One guy had it for 3 months, final conclusion was that I needed a new motor. I ve spent over a thousand dollars between different mechanics. When we ve given up all hope and was ready to sell it, these guys came thru and did what we thought was impossible. Thank you Stephen

Brought my 2016 Camaro in for a cam and full exhaust, Steven and his team are great. Car runs phenomenally and I couldn t be happier. These guys know their stuff, will for sure be back in the future.

I took my C5 Corvette to Stephen and the guys at East Texas Muscle Cars. Stephen was great to deal with, he explained different performance upgrades and was patient with me while I tried to decide exactly which direction I wanted to go. We decided on a stage 3 kit, stall converter, and to replace the harmonic balancer. I dropped the car off on a Thursday evening and was delighted when he informed me it was tuned and ready to be picked up early the next week. The car sounds INCREDIBLE with the new cam, and runs and drives great with Stephen s tune. I couldn t be happier with the whole experience, the only downside is the list for even MORE power.

Outstanding group of guys. They banged out my clutch and turbo upgrade on my Passat in less than two days. Dealt with a few headaches that were due to defective parts I provided and did an outstanding job. Highly recommend them!

Had my truck worked on several times at this shop. Stephen is very professional and will get your vehicle running top notch. Highly recommend. Just email the man and be patient. Simple really.

Stephen and the crew were great to work with. They installed new heads, cam, headers, and air intake on an 08 Z06. The performance of the car is just insane after the work, car made over 550 hp to the wheels when they got done tuning it!! And you could not ask for better customer service. Stephen was always fast answering any and all questions I had. Thank you ETMC!!

Greatest shop that I have worked with. Stephen and Chris are extremely nice and easy to talk to. They installed cold air intake headers x pipe and axleback exhuast on my g8 gt and then tuned it. The tune was perfect. Already planning my next trip. Strongly recommended to everyone.

Dropped off my mustang with East Texas muscle cars for some suspension modifications ( springs / struts / cradle lockouts) After I picked it up and had it aligned ran into some issues with the install. They had me come back and went above and beyond to make it right. Honest group of guys that take care of their customers even if you run into a hick up. A lot of shops would brush it off or play the blame game. Stephen the owner, was very respectful and took the situation very seriously, and again went above and beyond on what I even requested be done to fix the issue. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to have some work done, and I will be a repeat customer in the future.

Best shop ever!!!! Been to so many of the years and finally pulled the trigger and decided to get my car done here. Smiling all the way home to Shreveport, worth the drive and penny spent. These guys know their GTO's. Finally a place that I can feel comfortable enough to leave my car worry free. Stephen emailed me with updates and responded to mine within minutes!! Thank you guys so much and cant wait to bring it back for the next project!

Great performance shop. They can take care of any and all of your go fast/paint and body needs. Drive up there and have a chat with them. Stephen or Chris will gladly answer any of you're questions. Fair pricing and outstanding workmanship.

I was initially happy with the service and work done at etmc! I have probably spent around 20k on parts and labor with them. Repeat customer. Now that being said. My engine that was built by them is now having issues. Engine may have around 4K miles if that. It seems a lifter has gone bad on car and has potentially ruined my brand new forged motor. I contacted etmc about the issue and was told to send the oil filter to them to inspect metal flakes I saw while changing the oil. Now I completely understand parts fail! And it's not their fault at all! My only concerns were their lack of caring about the issues a brand new engine was having! I contacted many other shops with my issue just to see what they would do and all of them said they would've worked with me on labor and reduce how much it would cost me to fix the issues, being I was a repeat customer and still had more plans to take car back to them for future mods, I guess I just expected more help from them! So take it for what it's worth! They do good work, just think they need to take care of people who are taking care of them! I will fix the car myself and guess look elsewhere to take it for future plans!UPDATE: Stephen/ Owner did send me a new set of ls7 lifters for free! Which was much appreciated, after I installed new lifters, so far all seems great with the car. A couple of the old lifters had issues with roller bearing and were not rolling smoothly over cam lobes, causing the issues I had.

I have done business with these guys on more than one occasion, and all has went well. Segment swaps and tunes is what I have had done here .they have also given me some good advice. I have recommended them to many people and will continue to do so. I will be going back soon for some more tuning. Thanks!!

Best shop around hands down. I m a repeat customer and have been using ETMC for many years on several different vehicles. As a matter of fact, I m about to get some work done to my brand new z06! All of these 1 star reviews are just internet trolls that have never even been to the shop. A lot of people have brought their car to Stephen to be re-tuned from other local shops if that tells you anything...

Can't express how glad I am to find a performance shop that puts customers first. Stephen Covington the owner really knows his stuff and his head mechanic Chris does a bang up job. I have now had several cars built and tuned by them and couldn't be happier. Ive held several records on both the G8 and GTO platform with their help. Cars always drive just as well on the street as the perform at the track.

I hate to see good business' get bad reviews. So to follow up what Stephen said, email them! I have a 2015 C7 and am very interested in getting some upgrades through their shop. Obviously I have questions regarding the packages available so I began emailing them. Not even an hour goes by and I have a response. I continue to shoot emails back and forth for the next 2 days regarding packages they provide. I haven't made my way out there to order what I want for my C7, hopefully within the next month I will, but the customer service is already outstanding. Don't let these other reviews discourage you.

ETMC is without doubt the best performance shop I've been to.They got my car in an out earlier than what was planned. I drove 3 hours to get there and was not disappointed.All their employs are top notch. Special shout out to Austin. You went above and beyond an I really appreciate it. Oh and the camaro stage 2 kit, worth every penny. My camaro is making 427 rwhp an416 rwtq. Really makes the butt dyno happy an it sounds like a beast now.

I have known Stephen and Chris for around ten years- since my GTO was new! I did my first engine build there at ETMC and they did such a fantasic job on everything from work to tune- I didn't touch it for 8 years! Now, I'm building a new motor for my car and they have been SO helpful and always there when I need them. I respect Stephen's work very much and have always been impressed! Thank you ETMC!!!

Truly the best customer service experience I ve ever had! I can t believe the friendliness of the staff. Every single person was not only professional and VERY knowledgable, but also friendly and chatty. Stephen really knows his stuff! He was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly and concisely so that I actually understood exactly what I was purchasing. I haven t experienced such courtesy in ANY place of business. They truly went above and beyond our expectations.

I have been repeat business for years. first my 2004 GTO then My 87 Grand National lastly my 71 Chevy Truck I have had them do motor work Paint and body and some in-between. My Father in law has his truck there Now getting Paint and body on another truck. he does great paint and body flawless even. only draw back I have on ETMC work is Time and delivery. Some things are quick in and out but other larger projects take too long. be prepared to drop it off and not see it for a while if it is a large project. heads, cam, tunes, and other small job are usually in and out. over all they are Really great guys easy to talk to, in most cases. They Are very capable and can put out some very cool and very Trick cars.

Used push rods for exhaust hangers and took a lot longer than they should have when I had to get the exhaust built for the second time around because the first time it almost fell off. Welds looked like birdshit and for the price they charged they should ve left a gold brick in my driver seat.Save yourself some time(and money) and go to someone who knows what they re doing. Learned my lesson.

Awesome specialized service for Corvette's, Camaros. Expertly upgrade and tune your car into a modern Hotrod!!! Best to contact them via email as they are usually in the shop working thier automotive magic!!!!!!

Did a great job with my tune on a '13 Camaro SS. I only have bolt on's (headers and cold air intake) they got 417rwhp out of it.

did a cam install and tuned by another shop, was unhappy with the tune and brought the car to ETMC. ETMC spent better part of the day working on the tune and getting it right, thumbs up
