It's a great day to sit on the bench out front of this place. Watch the cars drive down the loop, talk to strangers and wish them Happy Easter. That's what I did this morning. And I drove 64 miles round trip to do it. Always worth the drive.

I highly recommend Discount Tires in Longview. Just purchased a set of tires for my vehicle today. Nick was the salesperson and he was courteous, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It was super busy and he ask if I could come back in about two hours. I received a phone call and they told me they were ready for me and it took about 45 minutes and I was done. Great customer service from everyone I encountered today.

I have only used Discount Tire three times over the past two decades, as I generally trade vehicles often, and do not need tires or tire service. First time was back in 2004, I purchased some tires, and was pleased with the tires and service. Second time, fast forward to Summer of 2023. I needed a flat repair, and they not only did an excellent job on the repair, it was free of charge, even though I did not purchase the tires from Discount. Lastly, we can fast forward to 2/7/2024. I needed a tire rotation on the same vehicle that previously needed the flat repair. I made an appointment, which was 12:45pm. I was running behind, and even called them to let them know I had an appointment, and was running late. They said come on up there. I arrived, and then the rep walked out to me. I stated that I had an appointment for a tire rotation, however I was late. At this point, I was 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment. The rep proceeded with since I am more than 15 minutes late, I would be put down as walk-in customer, and it would be an hour an a half to two hours out, and that I can always reschedule. I just told him I would reschedule and left. It wasn't the fact that I wasted my time traveling 20 miles out of my way, it was his attitude about the whole situation. Had he presented the matter in a more professional tone and manner, I would have been a bit more understanding. But I also feel since I called and stated I was going to be late, they could have worked with me. So for this reason alone, they get a two star rating due to the lack of customer service and professionalism. I believe customer service is the main key to any business. A business needs it to survive. I know this one post or instance isn't going to hurt a national tire chain, but at least lets the next person know the kind of service they may receive.

Don t set an appointment time. They will simple put other vehicles who walk in before you ahead of your time. Set a time for 4:15, and talked with an employee at 4:45 wondering why my vehicle hadn t even been pulled into a bay. Again, just don t worry about the appointment time since there is zero time management. Another customer had dropped his vehicle off at an earlier appointment that hadn t even had his vehicle serviced.

I had an appointment to buy 2 tires on 12/21/2023. As soon as I arrived, Sean began, and would not stop, talking about politics. He became aggressive and angry when I did not agree with him. I did not disagree, I did not agree. After picking out and buying the 2 tires I was instructed, by Nicholas F, also in an aggressive manner, to go back to my vehicle and go to a bay. When I asked which bay, I was told to go sit back down until I was called .I went to DISCOUNT TIRE to purchase tires. Not for a lecture about politics of any kind. I will never recommend this shop to anyone. I am sorry I didn t travel to a different store, there is not one in our county, but will be sure to next time I need tires. This was a horrible, uncomfortable experience.

Went to have air checked in my tires. And one tire was reading low. Had a nail in it. They Manager said it would be about 2 1/2 hour wait. But they got my car in and patched my tire in a hour. Thats one of the resons we buy tires from them They have very good customer service

It is always busy!!! Hard to get in for a "quick" anything. Making an online appointment doesn't always have the options why you need it. Then you go stand in line 20 min to make the appointment, usually not same day. when you bring it in for appt., another 20 min wait to get to the counter for your scheduled appt. You are told how many cars are in front of you and given your wait time. Usually within an hour... don't expect to get out of there in less than an hour, especially if you don't have an appt. I was told 4 hours to see about a tire losing air... had to schedule the next day if I didn't want to wait. Since I purchased the tires there, I take it back there for service. If I didn't travel so much out of town, I might think twice about buying from them again. If they are that busy, they should add another location in town.

No matter where I go..Phoenix, Texas.. I can rely on Discount Tire to be fair, and a good value. Just brought in my vehicle to check out a screw I saw in the tire. Since I bought the tires their, they repaired, rotated and balanced my tires. Normally they are 5 stars. I am giving them a 4 because when I did purchase the tires there, they broke one of my TPMS sensors. They did not tell me this until I was picking up my car. TPMS light has been on ever since. They fix TPMS but they charge way too much. Otherwise they are a 5.

My wife made an appointment for 10:45AM , she drives a ML 350 SUV and they pulled in another customer Benz that came in later after her that was a car, not suv. They didn't read the paperwork and then informed my wife she had to wait. It is now 12:02 PM. The manager made no apologies and I'm sure no compensation. Unfortunately, this is not the first incident in Longview Discount Tires. I guess it requires diquarium and management skills to run a this establishment. She said, surely she would hope this was not race related. Well let's see the outcome.

I found it super busy both days I went, but still the teams were patient and accommodating. We should be the same with them and each other. If they're busy and you're in a hurry, pick a different day, impatience doesn't get you the service you want.

I have never had any issues with Discount Tire. Not only do they show me variety of tires and prices that best fit for my budget and vehicle but also intentional with keeping conversations throughout with quality customer service.

I just can t say enough great things about this location especially the employee Shaun! They were quick but most importantly friendly. I want to say a very special thank you to Shaun. He helped me out after I had a blowout on the highway. He turned my bad day into a great day and I really appreciate it!

Went in for a rotation. Total time about 10 minutes. It was all hands on deck here, even the manager was working. The store is very clean, and has ample waiting area. Free water is available to guests. Bathroom is cleaner than I expected.

Its hard to say everything that has gone wrong with my last visit here but i wont be returning. The only reason i came in was for a simple patch that i didnt even get. After them.trying to sell me tires that were too big for my vehicle and after raising concerns they assured me that tire rubbing the tire well wont hurt anything. I went to a local tire shop (bill day tire) where they patched my tire right then and there without having to leave overnight and ordered the appropriate tire asap without trying to sell me a tire that isnt adequate for my car. Discount tire i really hope you stub your toe and then it starts on fire for wasting my time.

Discount Tire has great customer service and prices. I went first thing in the morning, and there was already a line. They worked quickly and efficiently through the line of customers but I never felt like they were rushing to get to the next person. They took their time with me. Every employee was kind and educated me on things. I had a tire that needed to be replaced, and since I had a warranty on the tire, my new one was only $17.40! I recommend going to Discount Tire for any needs you have!

Went in on a Thursday morning to schedule an appointment for the upcoming Saturday at the Longview, Texas, location. When I walked in nine people were already waiting so I walked out with intent to just call and schedule. I called and scheduled an appointment for a rotation and balance on Saturday at 10:45. I arrived at 10:40 for my appointment and waited 35 minutes in line before finally seeing someone. The employees kept saying "we will be right with you" which apparently means we will get you when we get you! Anyway, about 11:15 they took my keys, got my information and told me they would be finished in about 45 minutes. This means I waited in line almost as long as the actual work would take (kinda defeats the purpose of an appointment). My wife has waited for me in her vehicle this entire time as we were going to drop and go. She was pissed! When we returned, same song and dance, a line of people and the same "we will be right with you" script. After waiting another 10 minutes I walked past 3 employees that were standing right there at the counter with no customer, as they watched I walked behind the counter, went through all of the bags with customers keys, located mine grabbed what was mine and walked out. Not one person ever even acknowledged me. They just looked at me as if it was a self service counter. As I walked out I thought how lucky they were that I was honest, but also concerned for my vehicles security while in their possession. I have been a loyal customer for years and outfitted numerous vehicles with tires from this location, but that may have ended today. Terrible customer service.

Too expensive for a "discount" store selling discontinued tires and instead if using right size wrench they tell you that you need all new lugnuts. What a rip off

10/10 best tire place in town. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, super helpful, and convenient! We have used Discount Tire for years, and they treat me as a priority every time I walk through the doors. I have never left disappointed.

I went here for a new tire as one of mine had acquired a nice chunk of metal in it. I was greeted so warmly my the one and only wonderful Maddy who not only was quick to assess the problem but took the time to really walk me through the process fully, answering ALL of my questions, leaving me confident and sure in my purchases and the services I was getting. She provided me with a wait time and informed me how many peope are scheduled ahead of me which even though it did seem a bit of a longer of a wait than i had hoped, i was grateful and impressed with the honesty...... she made sure I was kept comfortable by letting me use her personal charger for my phone while i waited. I sat near the plug which was by a window used to watch the other employees as they work on the many vehicles before them and the quick precision and focus in that area was so thick and strong it was too impressive not to notice! i vote this place 5 stars but I'd vote Maddy for president if I could lol

I like to give credit where credit is due. As soon as I entered discount tire I was greeted by a nice young lady (Madison M) being I am a 65 year old female I knew absolutely nothing about tires. She took care of me through the entire process of buying a tire. Now, I had an appointment at the dealership, but her attitude was so excellent I decided to buy the tire there. If you want service with a smile I highly suggest Discount tires. Also she explained the entire receipt. Thanks discount tires. If y all have incentives she sure deserves one.

Hands down this store has the worst customer service!! I have been a loyal DT customer for 30 years and because of this store and the way the way they have conducted themselves during my last couple of visits here, I will never buy another set of tires fromDiscount Tire! The fact that they were trying to push a tire that was the incorrect size tire as a replacement on my daughter's Kia or charge her $161 for the correct size tire even though she has warranties on her tires and the tires have less than 5k miles on them is unacceptable!!! The ONLY person that was trying to help my daughter out was a girl named Hannah! Hats off to her and her willingness to try to do whatever it takes to make sure we were comfortable and safe. Outside of her the rest the management and other employees are horrible!
