Really good atmosphere and our waitress was very nice. We had butter croissants (amazing), cheese curds (amazing), chicken Alfredo (barley any sauce and broccoli over cooked and mushy), and chicken fried steak (barley any flavor but sides were great). Over all it was a decent experience but their main courses could definitely use some work.

Still 5 starts across the board. We come here every time we come to Longview. I will have to say this dinner tonight 1-25-24 was not on par as they usually are. The waitress forgot our croissants. Most of the food was still good, we had the spinach dip as an appetizer. However, my burger was very well done on one side. The whole side was crispy black. It was very dry and overcooked. I ordered Cole slaw as my side just to try something new when I come as always. I didn't like it at all. It looked like it would taste good. It was very bland and dry. Sorry guys. I brag on this place, it's a favorite. It still is, because I've tried lots of things on the menu which I don't do at every place I go. I normally just stick with what I know is good. Y'all can do better.

We had never eaten at Cheddars before and went because it was close. We had a group of 12, and they were able to seat us fairly quickly.The waiter was friendly, good, and attentive. The food was good and the prices were also good. I would definitely go back!

Service was great, fast friendly, and attentive. Food was good, and came out really fast which definitely tells me most of the appetizers were already ready to go, and were not really "fresh" but it was still good so not a deal breaker.The croissants with honey butter were hot and soft really tasty!We got through about half our apps and the Mains came out so it was a lot of food all at once. The Mains were really good and a lot more fresh, they were much more appealing.Our app was the Sampler chicken strips, a spinach Cheddar dip, side of queso, side of ranch, and side of chips and salsa.Our mains were the Chicken Fried Steak with a side of loaded mashed potatoes, and red beans and rice. The other was a Shrimp and Pene Alfredo with Broccoli.We also enjoyed a couple Margaritas both are the Maui Margaritas one frozen and one on the rocks. Delicious!Definitely recommend good atmosphere and we had a good experience with the service.Kid-friendliness: Kid options and family friendly atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and all on one floor, no steps.

I love this place. It's been years since last time and it seems like the food just got better and different. I love the way everything is setup, and very clean too! The food is excellent, no doubt. I highly recommend this restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they do have wheelchair access.

Warm Texas greetings and hospitality. I came for the croissants and left full from the ribs. Wasn t a fan of the Texas Margarita but it was definitely Texas sized and a good value. The green beans had sugar in them not a fan. I did however like the sweet baby carrots. Broccoli rice and cheese has always been my favorite and went well with the falling iff the bone ribs. The service was complementary to the meal and I would definitely recommend and return.

Went out with some friends we had a good time the waitress was super sweet she did an awesome job that night food was fresh drinks were good I started eating and then took this picture I took the rest home this was a whole chicken with 2 sides for 13.99 can't beat that it originally comes with steamed broccoli and carrots I don't eat hybrid vegetables

There was a wait but we just sat at bar so we didn't have to wait. Nice atmosphere, friendly waitress/bartender. Food was hot and served well. I had steak and shrimp. My business associate had salmon. The green beans were very good as were the carrots. Steak cooked the way I like it. And shrimp wasn't over cooked. I would recommend.

Went to eat dinner here. I must say the croissants are delicious only had one. My food was delicious ordered the platter with spinach dip. Customer service could have been better once inside the establishment had to wait 5 minutes before being seated. Didn't feel like I was treated like the other patrons. I won't be going back to sit in & eat. When I have a taste for some Spinach dip I will Door Dash.

A good 3.5 place. Picked the right time to walk in and sit. Waitress was ready to go.The appetizer queso was texturly a bit off however, was brought back by its creamy taste. The 8 oz (I like my steak cooked) was well done, however, loss in the tenderness area. It had the fire grilled flavor I enjoy. The Monte Cristo came out on top for this meal. The flavor, texture, and build of the sandwich were very well done. The fries suffered the wait of the plate and came out tasting good but cold.The waitress did a great job, drinks filled, no waiting, and paid attention to me.If you get the chance, stop in. This was my first time here, and I wouldn't mind coming back.Pics... appetizer, 8 oz, Monte Cristo, and menu

The service was good and the food was tasty. I ordered Coconut Shrimp and the dipping sauce was with coconut as well. It was sweet. I liked it.My wife got a steak and it was made they way she like it.We were a large group. The food took a lot of time.

Absolutely amazing. The grilled whitefish was cooked to perfection. I couldn t even put the sauce on it was so good. Hats off to the chef and team!Our waitress Quintana was beyond exceptional. Her suggestions were spot on. I love it when we find good places to eat with great staff!

This was my first time here. Our waiter, Daniel, was amazing.The food was good. Steak was good too. I noticed management was really, on thier game.* all around nice place and good food.

Still a decent place to go and the people are friendly, but there have been times where the hold-up wasn't the wait staff or the kitchen, but just getting a hostess to recognize that people were lining up at the door. I've literally seen people walk out because they were never even acknowledged. I have been on the verge of walking out myself. I know it's not a staffing thing because as soon as a host showed up at the stand, they could seat everyone immediately.

We were in Longview Texas so stopped in here for dinner before going to hotel. Food yummy as usual. Waitress was awesome. Forgot to take pictures of food. Didn t think I would do a review.Parking: Parking is adequate. Only a couple of handicap parking spaces in front.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly

This Cheddar s Scratch Kitchen located in Longview, Texas was very good. The location of this restaurant is very convenient. The parking at this location was adequate. This restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms were clean. The employees were very friendly and professional. We ordered an appetizer and we each ordered a meal and they were very fast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We recommend this restaurant.

Food was good. Fairly fast. Service was on the poor side. It was dirty but looked as if there was a party before us and they were cleaning it up. Manager was performing interviews and we could hear everything she was saying. Very loud and unprofessional.This is not the first time going to Cheddars and it won't be the last.

Came here with a party of 7 we had a nice fast friendly waitress! The food was really delicious!!! Nice clean place! Not so crowded when we came. Everything was really good! Will definitely be coming back!!

I used to love Cheddar s years ago, but either the quality has dropped or I ve outgrown this place. I barely tasted the honey butter on the croissants. This is something I ve noticed at other locations as well. There were only two in our party and we were placed in the bar area. The vibe seemed off, so maybe that took away from the experience as well. The frozen Margarita was huge for the price so I should have known it wouldn t have tasted like much. I had a Caesar salad and the monte cristo. There was way too much meat in it, so I couldn t taste the cheese or the battered crust on the outside. The accompanying jam was super sweet and overpowered the entire dish. Even though nothing was fantastic about our meal, I like the fact that two people can eat for less than $25 here lol.

We went on a Sunday for the 2nd time at night which was not good, the place was dirty, the floors were dirty, the service was not great, there was no lemonade, the complimentary bread was cold and our waitress did not seem to enjoy her job. The first time I went there it was at Lunchtime I wish I knew the waitress that attended us she was great! She was the reason why I came back. But unfortunately at night the people who worked there were young and they did not have the same work ethic as the lunch time waiters and waitress.
