I had been having some issues with my car battery. I was getting conflicting information from various retailers and shops. I finally decided I indeed needed a new battery but Autozone was not the 1st store I went to. However, that's where I ended up and was helped by Darlene. She was very kind and patient. Long story, but it seemed that my battery tested good. I really appreciate the time she spent with me and her excellent customer service. Although 2 days later I did indeed need a new battery, as it tested bad this time. She went above and beyond and has a customer for life now. I didn't realize this was her 1st week at this store. She knew her business and was a blessing to me.

A friend of mine ask me to help him and replace his window regulator. I told him to go pick up the part and come over. Got the door apart and the replacement part was wrong. Went to this autozone to replace the regulator. Which we had already call and verified that they had another one. Brian starts to help us and the part that we have is the same part he trying to replace it with. Part number I should say. But it wasn't even at that story it was at the one on hwy 80. As I was trying to explain that this was the wrong part he start to get rude so I got rude back. Lucky Courtney came over from the commercial parts and got me the right. Thank you Courtney. Don't think I will use this one anymore. Counter help does not know what to do if it isn't in the computer

Honestly I only shop here because it's near my house, that's why I'm giving it a 2 instead of a 1. The staff is not professional or friendly. The 2nd to last time I was in there an employee was on the floor screaming cuss words and everyone else was just standing around. I stood at the counter for several minutes just looking at them, waiting to o be checked out.This last trip took about 10 minutes before anyone came to the counter to wait on me. I needed my battery checked, after he completed the test, we came back inside and the employee said he needed to look at one more thing on my car. He walked back outside, checked whatever it was and as he was walking back in someone pulled up and asked him a question, he turned around and helped them with their car, taking another 5-10 minutes. All the while people are lined up at a register waiting for service, while the other employees stood around. It was super unprofessional.

Michael was fantastic! Was having trouble with my battery and the corrosion was wild but he got it taken care of and was very kind.

Recently here in longview, I got hit by a fellow and it totalled a very rare corvette.The other insurance as the issue was the native longviewites responsibility for the wreck, however, there was a problem, his insurance was trying to get out of paying what the car was worth and what had been refurbished. I call Autozone... by the next day, not only was the original receipt reprinted but dropped off by one of the workers close to where I was making it Easy to get... five stars guys ... thanks!!!!!

Went to go get a new set of windshield wipers for my wife's car. Customer service rep was quick to help me find what I needed. He offered to help install them for me which I declined because I said to myself, "How hard could this be?" When I went back in to ask for assistance after I couldn't figure it out, the service rep was happy to come out to the vehicle and show me how to replace them properly. Top notch!

I HAVE HAD BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST WITH AUTO ZONE UNTIL TODAY. AUGUST 11 2023. I HAD TO PULL INTO AUTO ZONE AT 2301 GILMER RD. LONGVIEW TEXAS... EVERYONE IN THAT STORE WAS SO NICE .THE GUY CHECKED MY BATTERY AN TOLD ME IT WAS BAD BUT TOLD ME TO BUY IT AT WALMART IT WAS CHEAPER.I WAS THERE FOR LIKE 2 OR 3 HOURS ONLY BECAUSE MY WRECKER DRIVER WAS ON ANOTHER CALL. BUT ITS GREAT BECAUSE JENNIDEE AN BRIAN WERE THE BEST ONES THERE. WHEN I FIRST GOT THERE. I HAD TO SIT THERE AN WAIT FOR A WRECKER. WHILE I WAS THERE THEY ASKED HOW THEY COULD HELP ME.THEN JENNIDEE AN BRIAN ASKED ME WOULD I LIKE A CHAIR TO SIT IN BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT ME TO STAY OUTSIDE. I FIRST TOLD THEM NO BUT THEY INSISTED SO YES I TOOK THE CHAIR AN GLAD I DID THEY WERE BOTH SO GREAT. I HAVE HAD BAD EXPERIENCES WITH AUTO ZONE IN THE PAST AN SWORE I WOULD NEVER GO BACK UNTIL I WENT TO THE ONE AT 2301 GILMER RD I THINK JENNIDEE AN BRIAN NEED 1 HELL OF A RAISE THEY ALL DO BUT THESE 2 FOR SURE ALL I CAN SAY IS THANK YOU TO AUTO ZONE ON GILMER RD IN LONGVIEW TEXAS EVERY ONE THERE ROCKS THEY MADE ME FEEL SO WELCOME. I ALSO RECOMMEND OVERSTREET WRECKER SERVICES TO ANYONE THEY ARE THE BOMB THEY WILL TELL U WHAT THEY ARE DOIN AN HOW LONG AN IT WILL TAKE AND HOW LONG BEFORE HE WILL GET ANOTHER DRIVER FROM OVERSTREET WRECKER SERVICE OUT OF GILMER THEY ARE AWESOME ALSO

If you give out awards for going above and beyond, store manager Larry deserves it. I went to two other parts stores in town. They all told me they couldn t find my parts, when I came to Larry with this dilemma not only did he find my parts that were impossible to find but he got them for me within all two days. When I found out later when I went to pick up the parts, he had actually purchased them on his own Amazon account and told me don t worry about the cost it was his pleasure to help me. I cannot express how amazing he is.

They seem to have good prices but the employees not always know what the products. Maybe they should get trained for the most purchased items, at least.

Okay like I said before autozone, o'reilly's, and every other auto parts store out there will only get three stars from me ever not because the people aren't great. Because some of them are. But because the companies do not train the new employees. I realize that it's hard for any retail place to get employees but you have got to start training these people. Most of the younger kids have no idea what a battery is they look it up on a computer and say well you got to know this you got to know that you got to know this. You do not want to be in a position of getting the wrong parts for a vehicle you're working on which has happened to me several times at every place. I love auto parts stores they're good to have around they'd be much better if they had employees that knew what they were doing.

I walked to the counter with my items only to be taken to another counter with nobody there. The clerk that was called to that counter called me down to yet another counter.... I'm not going to jump through hoops to make you take my money. FTP, I walked out and went to O'Reilly's.

Lady asked me if I wanted 1' or 2' of hose. I told her to measure and cut what I needed. She got mad at me and handed hose back to me in a huff. Never be back as long as she works there. I was a regular customer and now I'm not. Very rude.

Fabulous! The associates were very helpful. They help me locate what I needed and made suggestions I hadn't thought of. When my purchase qualified for a discount because of my company association the cashier without hesitation credited my discount. Shop the Gilmer Rd store. They are the best!!

There is a man that works at this location whose customer service skills have made me a life long loyal customer.I came in looking for a replacement headlight. Unsure what one I needed he offers to come look at the actual light. Turns out a loose wire. Though I didnt spend money there today his kindness and thoughtfulness are the reasons this will be my auto place. For everything I may ever need while I live in Longview. BRAVO!!

Had a dead truck battery and the staff here was amazing. They showed me all my options for a new battery, made me aware of available rebates to save money, installed my new battery free of charge and I was on my way within 20 minutes. Will definitely go back!

My husband and I bought a car today and it had some issues. One of the issues was the brake lights did not work. We stopped by this Auto Zone to see if anyone knew about the issue. One of the employees (I didn't catch his name, sorry!) came out and basically nailed it. He figured out and fixed what was wrong pretty quickly. It was a couple of minor fixes, but we had no idea about those issues. We're very thankful for this man and his knowledge. If you read this (you know who you are!) THANK YOU SO MUCH! and tell your manager I said you need a raise :D

Friday May 1st.Waited my turn in line. As I approached the checkout counter the cashier headed for the door yelling to no one that I could see "I'm taking a break".I looked around & seeing no one respond I asked her to come back in & check me out.Attention Management. If you want folks to shop local, train your employees better & hold them accountable.

U r my angel for being very nice and helpful even with all the commotion of the power being out and the store being busy, still helped me fix my car. I so much appreciate u.
