Horrible place to do business owner is liar and a pain in the as$ to deal with. Shady work to say the least. truck spent 6 months in the shop for warranty work after it was in the shop for 3 months getting 5k worth of work done to it the first time.first trans lasted about 3 months before a stage 3 trans left me stranded on the side of the road. Fast forward to picking it up for the second time mechanic pulls it into the parking lot for me to have it and it s leaking trans fluid out of the cooler I had them install which they decided zip ties and cheap crimps where the best way to secure it didint bother spending the 2.99 for heat shrink or wire lume to make it look presentable or anything. Along to the guage photo we can see it s just thrown in there not mounted or wired in correctly.

Will never go here again and after getting the second transmission I was done. Wanted to try for a third and I was like naw I'm good. They should've gotten it right the first time. This place shouldn't even be a business. I got my money back. My money took forever in a day to get back. Do not take your vehicle here, it was a waste of time. Took almost a whole month.

Please don t subject yourself or your cars transmission to this place. I never write reviews and I should- but this place should not be in business. Took months for my husband to get his transmission fixed. Owner tried all kinds of excuses why it wasn t fixed. Finally got it back,doesn t shift nice like before but whatever, several months later he notices transmission fluid leaking. Brings it in under warranty before we go out of town. The clerk said ok good it s under warranty, leave keys we will look at it.sign papers ..great. 4 days later she calls and says I m sorry it s a new policy you have to show us your original paperwork to honor warranty(even though she saw in computer and said yes it s warranties) so after a big argument where they try to deny warranty: we find paperwork and they say ok they call we don t see anything wrong looks good no leakage..my husband goes down, gets underneath with worker and says, you see that drip?! They say yeah you re right the girl said well if it s transmissions fault it will be covered. We took our keys and left: horrible/ we didn t trust them to make it right. They frauded us and lied at ever turn. They would have found a reason to charge us more money. Please don t go here for your transmission needs. .

I own the real USA Transmissions in Lufkin. We are NOT affiliated with these people. We receive several phone calls a week from customers who claim this place in Livingston has cheated them. BEWARE!!! (Change your name and I ll quit leaving bad reviews)

John and his team were fantastic and the work they did on my son's car this summer has proven to be excellent. They were upfront about costs and time and very good with communication. Our situation was not ideal with a broken down vehicle in an area of Texas we don't have a mechanic in. So happy that we ended up here! I can highly recommend them for price, quality and service.Service: Engine repair

USA initially put a transmission in our car, but we had to take the car back due to other issues. The transmission work was not the issue, but we decided to let them put a new motor in our car and this has been a nightmare. They ve had our vehicle for almost 4 months. We had to keep calling and they continued to give us the run around. Did I mention we paid $4000.00 down. Initially they said they were having a problem getting parts. My husband actually reached the owner (Wayne Ray) 2 week s ago and he said our vehicle would be ready last Friday. Well, last Friday came and went with no call. Finally I called yesterday and I m still reeling from the conversation I had with who I assume is the office manager. I strongly suggested that he call my husband and tell him exactly what was going on with the car.. This man reluctantly called my husband and told him that they hadn t even started on our car. This whole time we have been lied to. How has this business survived this whole time. I went on the BBB to make a complaint and guess what? There were several of the same complaints for USA Transmission. Sooooo, we re having a wrecker service pick up the car Monday. I ve already called an attorney because they re going to give me my money back! The owner really seemed like a nice guy when we first met him, but looks are deceiving. Very good experience dealing with management, very professional operation. Very highly recommended if you have a transmission or other automotive needs from engine repair mufflers all the way down two tires and brakes.

BEWARE: They have had my car for 6 weeks now with nothing but a run around! They place me on hold when I call and I ll be on hold for 15 plus minutes! They never call you with an update! When I call they give me the run around both the owner and manager John. First it was 3 days to get fixed if i pay upfront. Then it turned into now 6 weeks! They don t return phone calls either. It started with we will rebuild it, then we are waiting on parts! Then it turned into we need a different transmission! Well they didn t do their job and research my transmission type and well that transmission did not work! Now my car is worse then when I brought it in. Now it s we are waiting on our boss to come up from Houston. It s been 7 days of that now! I still don t have my suv either or a returned phone call. DO NOT USE THEM!Service: Transmission

The shop is mismanaged. They will give you the run around from the beginning. Promise a date it will be ready, and then give excuse after excuse as to why it is not. They will never call to update you on the progress all though they promise too. You call and they say they will call back...but do not. I can not speak to the quality of the work......but the customer service is the worst I have ever had. I understand delays....but be honest with the owner. I call and they say it is in shop...drive by and it is clearly not.....just deceitful in their dealings with the customer. Be aware of the bait and switch for the delivery date...it will just keep rolling further along, although your money will be taken before any service is performed. Again, I can not speak to the quality of the repairs as we are still waiting for any progress on that.Service: Transmission

The absolute worst. They had my vehicle for well over a a month and the car ran fine for a while but then started having the same issues. I took the car to another place and they informed me I needed a whole new transmission. When I called them and let them know they basically told me too bad. We wasted so much time and money for nothing. I DO NOT recommend this placeService: Transmission replacement

We had waited 10 months for our engine swap. For the first 9 months we only got the run around. 9 months into it, we met Tom. Tom had apologized for how things have been going there and offered to get us a rental while we waited for our truck to be completed. This was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I ve EVER HAD with any business. PLEASE PLEASE listen to me and DO NOT do business with these people!!!!! Wayne is not an honest man!!! And this is a janky business. They kept my car for two months no explanation or contact from anyone. I had to call and I called so much to the point to where they began ignoring my phone calls which is extremely unprofessional. I didn t know what to think. When I did get in contact with a guy named Tom he had no idea what was going on he began to make empty promises of completing the job also. It was this day it ll be done and then that day came now it s this and won t be done until this time. That time comes around and it s something else!!! This went on for two months. Guess what, they still have my car saying it will be done Monday. Take my advice PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF some trouble and do not do business with them!!!!!?

Do not do business with them. They had my truck for a month and still didnt fix the problem it came in with. They try sucking more money out of me. I heard they sold the place and have had many complaints. The bad reviews you read on here are true cause I just had a very bad experience with them. My transmission is still not fixed after $1000.00. taking them to court over thisService: Transmission

They took longer than I thought but I understand it is hard getting parts right now. They were always very nice and respectful to me along the way. I have my truck back now and it works perfect. I really am thankful to USA transmission shop. My husband and I are at our lowest and this shop has been working with us to get us back up on our feet after being so low. When our luck was wearing our Faith USA gives us hope to keep pushing on. We have put them in a bind never no foul words only words to tell us there's hope and it will all work out. Ialso there price bet all around. 5 starts aren't enough to rate them I feel they deserve 10 starts. Thanks USA transmission.Service: Transmission

Such a great shop! The manager is great about staying in touch with you and letting you know the diagnosis of the vehicle, he does his best to work with you on the price (they offer financing!), and the mechanics do their best to take care of any/every problem your vehicle has. Call and ask for John!

I am a business owner with a fleet of about 18 vehicles. One of my employees was away from home and started having transmission issues. John and his team exceeded our expectations on the timing of the repair. Horrible business, do not go there! New person every time I m in the office or call, car has taken months to be fixed, new lie every time I call. Owner is a liar and doesn t honor his word. The place is overpriced and filthy. Don t go here!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Absolutely love this place. We have brought several of our vehicles here , always great quality work. Today we brought our vehicle in, expecting to spend several a kit and they saved us several hundred dollars by not doing work not needed Thank you

So far so good, i cant say for sure one way or the other yet cause car is still there but I can say this; I went online and requested a quote and within 10min. John was calling my phone to get more info on the car and to see when I could bring it up there. All n I mean EVERY other transmission service/repair shop in livingston was either too backed up n wouldn't be able to even LOOK at my car for 2 weeks or was rude and told me the best they could do was advise me to take it to a dealership n have them do diagnostics and wouldn't answer any questions I asked.USA TRANSMISSIONS was packed when I brought my car up there the following day, they have NOT been rude amd answer any questions I have so like I said so far so good.

Terrible. 10/10 flat out do not do business with these people. They agrees to tow my vehicle without seeing its condition for free and then refused to do the work after having my vehicle for a week. Then want me to pay for the tow in and storage fees. They should have never agreed to tow at their cost without knowing the condition of the vehicle.

I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else. Financing options are available. They had my transmission rebuilt and ready to go in just a couple of days. They communicated well and kept me informed through the whole process and treated me like family. I'll be a customer for life. I highly recommend USA Transmissions.

Just don't use this shop. You will sleep better. You will be happier using someone else's service. Took them three months and "I don't know" is the excuse. When I questioned Jacob about missing parts off my truck, his reply was "we can take the parts off another vehicle in the lot." I never returned. Never will. Just don't use this shop. You'll sleep better.

These guys do a real good job, they're always friendly and upfront about costs, time frame and what work is needed to get your car going. We will definitely keep going here for our vehicle repairs.

I took my van here in February of 2014 and was told I needed to get my transmission rebuilt. I suspected that was the case when I took it there and had decided if that was the diagnoses that I would trade it in and get a new car. I have had three transmission rebuilt in my years of cars ownership and they never lasted much more then a year. I told the guys this and he said, Well you have never had one rebuilt by me. After some thought I said okay go ahead. It is now July of 2016 and that transmission rebuilt is trouble free. I have put on 26,653 miles .

Do not go to these people they told me that they were going to pay my toe in didn't tell me depending on the condition of the car then they called me a week after they got my vehicle and told me that there was nothing that they could do cuz it was dangerous and now I have to pay the toe in as well before I can get my car back definitely would not recommend them

John and Lee are absolutely amazing. I bought a car from Drivetime and the warranty is thru USA Transmissions and they got right on it and they took care of the situation fast. I highly recommend these guys for your automotive needs!!! THANKS A MILLION!!!
