Thank you for all the hard work you did and the time and effort you put into getting me into a vehicle I not only love but that was exactly in the budget you knew j had to work with. You are truly exceptional and I am both truly grateful and so appreciative to and of you. You are the best and you honestly went above and beyond for me and I will be recommending you to everyone I know and come across that is looking for a vehicle. Definitely recommend this place to get your next vehicle, sales man was very thorough and took his time explaining everything about the vehicles I was interested in, got to test drive every vehicle. Once I decided on the truck I wanted they worked with me on what I could afford and made arrangements to get to that number that I needed. Great experience and will definitely be seeing them again for my next vehicle!

I bought a 2004 chevrolet Silverado from Texas car co 50 miles after I bought it. That transfer case needed to be replaced because the chain and gear stripped out. Rick made me pay for the repairs now. I've had a oileak since I purchased a truck and I have been trying to get it repaired. He only wants to pay $600 to repair. This remain seal and oil pan leak that's been there Since I bought the truck.They do not stand behind their vehicles. They overcharged for vehicles because there are buy here. Pay here and they sell junk. I will never buy another vehicle from rick wagner add texas car coco

After almost 3 1/2 years of owning my truck, I think it s time for my honest review of Texas Carco. I purchased a 2014 Ram 2500 CTD. The truck was a used fleet vehicle with approximately 160,000 miles or so, I m guessing. The price on the truck was very good. In fact, it was almost too good, and there was a reason for that low price. When I looked at the truck and test drove it, everything seem to be fine. It ran good, the air conditioner worked, the cruise control worked, and there were no check engine lights on. Of course, after driving for a day or two the check engine light came on. I took the truck to a diesel mechanic who ran several tests and determined that the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) was completely clogged and not functioning. This would require a full replacement of the DPF, which would cost approximately $2500 to over $4000 if you took to the dealership. The second option was to do a full delete of the DPF and other systems which would cost approximately $2500. Obviously, the check engine light was cleared before my test drive and also before picking up the vehicle for final delivery. There were several codes that were thrown due to the fully clogged DPF. The cruise control worked when I test drove it, but quit working after that. I am not sure how that happened or if it was coincidental. It was not cold when I purchased the vehicle so when winter came along, I found that the heater did not work. Other than that the actual engine itself and the transmission have worked very well and continue to work very well. So, after approximately $4000 worth of repairs, I had a fairly nice truck. The truck was priced about $3000 less than was expected so all in all things could have definitely been worse. I still own the truck, and have been pleased with it. The main reason for the two star rating is the fact that they did clear the check engine light before the purchase and were definitely deceptive in there selling practices. Rick convinced me that he was a friend and that he would not have been in business if he was not honest. Clearing the check engine light to sell a vehicle, when you know that the vehicle has a major problem is not honest in any sense of the word. With a fully clogged DPF there will be several engine codes. That is not up for debate. My mistake was not taking my own code reader. I have since purchased a code reader, so that I will never be in that position again. IMHO, you are taking a chance buying a vehicle from this dealership. You may come out just fine or you may have an experience similar to mine. My suggestion would be to buy a vehicle from a more reputable company. Thank you.

These guys are the absolute best. Rick was very professional and very respectful towards my wife. Everyone there is very caring and loving. Their willingness to work with us and help us get a vehicle that was perfect for us at what we could afford was exactly what we needed. I will be returning to them with any of my business involving cars.

Rick was incredible. We hardly had anything going for us down payment wise, or financial proof as my husband just started a new job. He was patient, caring about our needs, & extremely helpful. Gave us a good deal with minimal hassle. I would highly recommend anyone.

We went there looking to a daily driver for work and found a car within our budget but when the guy drove it to put gas in it he noticed something wrong and came back and told the owner so he told us about it and said I can't sell you that car with something wrong with it. I was heartbroken but he worked an amazing deal with us and we drove out with an even better vehicle and all within our budget!!! They are honest and will definitely work with you to get you a vehicle . Top notch service. We will definitely shop here in the future and recommend them to everyone.

If I could I would give this place 10 stars!!!! I have to say this place will be getting most or all of our business from now on. Me and my husband had a pretty rough year last year due to health issues and our credit was affected. We had been to several different dealerships over the last few weeks who claimed to offer "In-House financing" or "EVERYONE APPROVED" looking for something to get into without running my husbands credit, only to learn that their in-house financing will only cover what THEY want to put you in and requires a huge down payment on top of still running your credit. We happened to be driving down 190 in Livingston last week and I remembered seeing their sign and the "buy here, pay here" sign and immediately thought they would probably reject us like the others have or require a huge down payment. After work we decided to go and check them out and see how it worked. We met with one the ladies in the office and she went over their process and did explain that the owner does check credit but just to determine if you are eligible for their in-house financing. She was very nice and even took the time to look up some vehicles that the owner may be able to get us into. The owner was out that day so no final decision could be made until he was back in the office. We also got to meet one of the mechanics there named Chris who was also very helpful and took time to show some vehicles and offered details on some that we were looking at. We then left our information for the owner to look over and decide if he was willing to work with us or not and left notes on which one we would like to try to get into. We had not heard anything by the time we got off the next day so I called and the lady that answered the phone was very nice and said that the owner was not in at that moment but if we wanted to stop by she would locate him and get him to come in and talk with us. We decided to go ahead and go by there and see if we could get a meeting with him. Come to find out it was the owners wife that answered the phone. She talked to us a bit and ultimately gave us the same answer the lady the day before had that it was up to Rick if he was willing to work with us. She called Rick and he came right up from what he was doing to meet with us. He was very nice, he took the time to hear out story and was very understanding of the situation. We really enjoyed talking with him and his wife. At first we thought due to our credit history he would use the same excuse everyone else did, but Rick actually kind of knew where we were coming from and decided to give us a chance to make it right. Ultimately he was not able to put my husband in the truck that he wanted because he felt the monthly payments would be too much and the upkeep on that vehicle would put us in a bind. However, he asked my husband what else he might be willing to get into. After they talked Rick showed him what my husband is now calling "the truck of his dreams"...lol. Rick went out of his way to help and is also keeping our down payment low as well as keeping our monthly note low. I am very thankful for this place and Rick and his Wife (I never caught her name). They have made a dream come true for my husband that he did not expect to happen any time soon. I highly recommend this place to anyone that may have had some credit issues, as long as you do not have any repossessions in a certain time frame Rick seems like he will do what he can to help you out. They will also take a partial down payment and hold the vehicle for you for a small amount of time if you need a few more days to come up with the rest of the payment. Thank you guy for everything!!!

Great place to deal with. I went to a lot of car lots searching for my daughter a car. Went and talked to Rick, not only did he fix her up with a nice hybrid as her first car but he also worked around her work schedule to do it. Quality cars and quality service for sure!!!!

(Traded In Husbands Truck For $2,000, Deferred Payment $3,000!) Will Definitely Be Getting Me A Lawyer Specifically Gene Bush As Soon As Possible! & Will Never Go Back To This Place Again! Not Even Due For Second Payment (Due 21st) & Car Is Repoed! Have Bank Statements Of All Payments (Including The Deferred). Also The Deferred Payment Was Discussed Over The Phone, & Before We Took The Car Home We Was Allowed To Pay It Out. Also Had A Part That Needed To Be Fixed (Radiator), Bought The Part & Asked Them To Fix It They Said We Had To Pay, Haven t Even Had The Car That Long. Would Definitely Not Recommend Them. & They ll Also Tell You They Paid Their Wrecker Service Guy $500-$1,000 When All They Pay Is $150, Just To Get More Money Out Of You! I Guess They Don t Pay Attention To Who They Screw Over Because People Definitely Talk. Wish I Would ve Known All This Before We Went To Him.

Most awesome experience ever, bought very expensive car, from out of town... went the extra mile. Free pick from airport, I seen Rick's sales sheets and he has sol 200 cars this year already and has had 2 complaints only. I heard him fix, I seen it. one while I was there. He also keeps a complaint log I did see it. Both matters taken care of. Thanks, Rick and Sierra.... Will buy again.
