Nice spot to catch some rest after a days of travel. Good place to base camp and explore the town, do a little shopping, stock up on supplies, and maybe even visit the Waylon Jennings family museum if you're a country music fan.Partial hookups in about 10 back-in spots and 2 pull thrus. You might need a long hose and an extension cord depending on the spot you're in, however the price is hard to beat...up to 4 nights free, then $20 a day for any days after that. There's a dump station on site.Suggestions, and donations, are welcome. The pet area back is towards the rear of the park, please use it instead of the horseshoe area and clean up after your pets and your group. There's a hardware store next door, a couple of fast food places, and a package store nearby; groceries, fuel, other dining options, and other supplies are a bit farther out but available within Littlefield. Shop local and help keep this resource available.

There was a serious weather warning with high winds. We never expected to find a free RV site with hookups. Very quiet, despite the wind. No one bothered us, and we stayed overnight. We are grateful to the city of Littlefield, TX.

Free!!! If you are use to camping, you know how precious this is. PLEASE leave a donation to the city of Littlefield, TX. If only a dollar bill. We stayed one night and left 10 bucks. We were in site 2 which is a pull through. The 30 amp we used was tested by me and had no problems. We did not use water as we had a full water tank. The weather was mild so we used little electricity. Out west, free Parks are easy to find but not with any electric or water.God bless Littlefield for 1- Keeping Waylon Jennings memory and two for being so hospitable.3- Please, if you need fuel, food, groceries etc, buy some here. This is how it should be done in tiny parks across America. It gets you off the interstate to see the real America, good and not so good. This place is getting old and your donations could fund not only the poor traveler in need but also maintenance and upgrades. Be generous. Those who truly are needy will appreciate your prayers and donations.

We had a great 2 night stay. You have road noise, but it isn't bad. Power and water hookups. No restrooms, but still a great little spot. If you need anything. There is a Ace Hardware next door.

Great stopping point between Texas and New Mexico! Can t beat free - especially for full hookups! By the time we were going to sleep, there were only 6 rigs total. Sticker burrs are the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. Dinner was an easy walk away. Also a big Ace Hardware right next door. We definitely left a donation out of appreciation for the space and amenities (before we found it, the plan was a WM parking lot)!

Free RV spot for 4 days, then $20 a day after. Electric, water, and trash all available. Seems like a lot of empty spots when we got here on a sunday. It's a teeny tiny town but we're happy we chose to spend a week. They have a good Chinese and Mexican restaurant really close by.

Stopped here for the week on the way back home from New Mexico. For the price, this place is amazing! They allow stays for free for the first 4 nights with water and electric. Nothing to complain about that.

What a great stop! We didn't spend the night, but being able to take a lunch break and use our ac in 100 degree heat was wonderful. We left a donation as thanks! We'll be back! Update! We stopped again and emptied our tanks and left a donation! Thanks for the stop!

This is a nice quiet pull off that is free for 4 days with water and power and dump on site. lots of grass and grills a baseball fields next door. Within walking distance to pizza and sonic. The only thing u didn't like was that the city was spraying yellow "dye" on the grass that smelled like chemicals. I show with a city worker spraying and he said it was to mark the greasy areas so people didn't drive on them and that it was not toxic bit would dye tie shows and clothes. It did leave yellow on the bottom of our shoes. Other than this is was a nice stay.

4 free nights at 10 dirt sites with water and electric. 8 are back-in, 2 very long pull- through. Easy in/out. Original horse shoe pits are there. Park backs up to city ball fields. The only negative was the dust from the traffic to/from those ball fields.

Lots of Nice shade, has a horseshoes area with pins in place, veteran memorial, and a pet walking area.It was mostly empty during my stay. stayed 4 nights, shopped at both grocery stores, preferred Food King. The northern entrance (Ace hardware side) is a nasty one for RV's, even the small one's.Pinecones and bean pods, flies, flies, and flies...While in the area, I'll stop here for sure anytime...

This is the 4th time over several years I've done a one night stay on my way to/from San Antonio & the Rocky Mountains. My thanks & appreciation to the Waylon Jennings family & the town of Littlefield for the wonderful facility you have here! The RV park, ballfields, Community Center, concert stage, Veteran's Memorial...all shows community pride. I've stayed here as a solo female & felt/was safe. I probably would have never visited this town if not for the draw of a free RV spot with free hookups! Make sure to spend money to support the town. This visit, I spent $62.50gas, $6.38breakfast, $7.57Ace Hardware.

Shade, water, electric, trash, dump all free 4 days....just off the main highway...rough entry to park, dirt road with sizeable water filled dip/ right as you turn into park. Shade was welcome. Convenient to restaraunts and grocery shopping, Ace hardware. Thank you, Littlefield, for your generosity. This is a welcome rest.

Passing through on our return trip to South Carolina from Carson City, Nevada in April 2022 and found this awesome town park to pitch a tent and rest a few days. Windy during our stay, dusty. Relaxing though. Friendly town. Traffic nearby sometimes excessively loud hotrods. Planet Fitness about 30 minutes away. Made friends with an RVer who lent us an electrical power adapter to fit our drop cord. Had to step down in amperage because the standard 110-volt plugs on our pedestal did not work. Left a donation in the box there as suggested. Hardware store next door. Food nearby. Grocery about 7 minutes drive. Shaded with covered picnic tables, free spigot water, no hoses.

Excellent place to crash for the night. We couldn't believe that this place was "free". Full hookup and dumping station. We were driving early into the evening and googling for a RV Park. Everything was closed or no one answered the phone. We saw this place on Google and just drove in. Website said it was free. Even the name of the park has "free" in it. Glad we came. In this hot weather and late evening, we were thinking we would have to sleep in our out RV.

Had passed this park several times but this time on our way home we were tired and stopped for the night. We went to a local restaurant, had a nice meal. Went to a local station and refueled the pickup without the trailer and had a nice relaxing evening near the end of a 14 day trip. The spots could use some tree trimming and grass needs mowing but the Park did it's job got travelers passing through to stop and spend money in town. Thanks for the relaxing night. We left a donation please check the box.

Wow, a great place for RVers to stay for a night or two. The big problem is goathead stickers, so many, they were all over my dogs and my shoes.

We stopped there a few years ago and was awesome..and we came through last night 7-2-23 to stay a nite and was shocked because it is for a couple day stay AND not to live in??? There was like 3 rv's that looks like they have made this place their home...was very shocked to see that people take advantage of free places like this...we appreciate being able to pull in and see a place to be able to rest for a few hours or a nite..with water and electricity...thanks for this place...hopefully these people don't cause it to close down..

We needed a place to rest for a few hours while traveling through Texas. This was on the map, so we parked and saw a few very quiet RVers there. We took a nap and headed out on the rest of our trip. I am glad this little shady spot was available.

Great place to stay...yes there are a few bad points...but come on it is FREE! It was early in the spring and there was no water and no baths., there was electricity. It is free and a safe port in a storm, wind and dust was keeping us off the highway and we were more than thankful. There was another RV Park in town, they wanted $25 a night for nothing. I wasn't feeling well so it was a God send for us. My husband went out and picked up some trash and fixed a couple of the electrical boxes that the doors had been pulled off. There was also a donation box....leave a little something....it is worth it.

We were really looking forward to enjoying our stay, and are relaxing in the quite atmosphere. FOR MANY YEARS, I have marveled at this campground, and wished a had a travel trailer, to be there, and not some motel... I now have a Trailer, and am so delighted!!! THANk You.... I am spending the night, and looking forward to sweet dreams!!!!!
