Man this place is awesome! After looking for months for TJs I came across one at their dealership. I had just looked at a 99 TJ that was rusting out underneath for $16K at another dealer, so I already wasn t in a good mood. But when I saw this 03 TJ in excellent condition I just had to check it out. So I looked at the frame and I couldn t believe how clean it was!!! The undercarriage had zero rust!!! So no rust, outside was in excellent shape for its age, interior was the same, I just knew I had to have it. The pittman s are wonderful people and it was one of the easiest and fastest car transactions I ve ever had. They were excellent to talk to, and they agreed to have 3 minor issues checked out/fixed before taking it home. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and I m glad the search and wait is over! Thank you guys for having a very clean TJ on the lot.

I bought my Dodge Dakota from John Pittman last week. He and his wife made it very easy and headache free when it came to paperwork! It was a very easy process and it truly is a family company, I know a couple of their sons work there as well, and they are always so friendly! Plus, he takes care of veterans, huge bonus in my book. I would HIGHLY recommend Pittman Auto, they have a huge selection of many different vehicles, and you can t beat their customer service.

Pittman Motor came through right when we needed them! I got a beautiful SUV in great condition that is big enough to fit my huge family. They are super friendly and great to work with! Johnny really went out of his way to make us happy! I couldn't have picked a better place to buy my vehicle!

I did mechanic work on several of this dealers cars and they were all in TERRIBLE shape. He did not want to fix the issues. He was ok with putting his customers safety at risk as long as the cars run and drive. Do not recommend anyone buying a car from this dealer. I wouldn t put my family in what I ve seen.

I had the best experience buying a vehicle here. Johnny and his family go above and beyond to help make car buying a pleasurable and relaxing experience and actually sat down to go over as much information about the vehicle I chose that was possible and actually patiently took time to answer any questions I had. No high pressure to buy first vehicle that I looked at like I had experienced with other dealerships. Pittman auto wants to make sure you are happy with your choice.

Best car buying experience I ve ever had. The Pittmans are amazing and the customer service was fantastic. No stress came from the experience it all went so smooth. They helped my husband and I get the car of my dreams and I can t thank them enough for all they did to make our car buying exceptional!! I highly recommend business with them!

Bought a 95 wrangler from Pittman Motor Co in Oct of 2020. Johnny Jr said it needed nothing, was daily driver ready, an amazing Jeep. He made me feel comfortable with what I was buying as I am across country. All of these Facebook reviews and the ones on Yelp were great except for maybe one. I received a Jeep with missing parts, leaking parts, and completely worn out parts. My vehicle was unsafe. Then they would only take the vehicle back for $2000 less than selling price and again I pay shipping back. Learned my lesson but by no means am I able to recommend Pittman Motor Co like the rest of you. I m not sure what type of safety inspection was completed.Review also available at BBB.org

I recently purchased a great vehicle from this family & veteran owned business. They were great to work with even though very quickly after purchasing my new ride we found two issues with it. The Pittman s went and did the right thing and got the necessary repairs taken care of for us. It s a rarity these days it seems for a business to go above and do the right thing. Would highly recommend this company.

We have bought our last three or four cars here. This is a family owned business and we are always treated like family and never pressured by overly zealous salesmen. Their service department has been very helpful, too. John and his wife and their two sons are great friends and we enjoy doing business with them.

The best place ever to buy a car!!! The Pittmans are the most friendly people, you couldn't ask for a better family owned business. Honest and great prices, what more could you ask for? We highly recommend them. The old reviews are crazy and down right lies, must be someone bitter, disgruntled or work for another car company. You can trust that you will get the best service before,during and after you buy a vehicle from them!!!

We have bought three cars, that have all been WINNERS! My son had me buy one and drive it to Andrews AFB in Washington DC, as he did not trust the car dealers there! I cannot say enough about the integrity of the Pittman Motor Co. staff. Thank you, all for making our purchases wonderful experiences! Oh, we aren't related, but do intend on getting a truck there soon!

Bought a car from here a little less than a year ago and the only thing I've replaced is the windshield wipers. Had a check engine light notification the first week I had my car and they took it in without question and replaced the party immediately. I absolutely LOVE my car, but when the time comes to get another I'll be finding one through the Pittmans'!

We have purchased 9 vehicles over the last 10 years with Pittman Motor Company in Lindale, Texas. Each time is a great experience and they are so helpful and work with you on what car you need, want and can afford! The Pittman's are wonderful people and I can promise you, the negative reviews you see on here are not true! If you need a vehicle, whether you are looking online or live in the Lindale area, this is the place to go!!!

These guys are great. Its not often I buy from a dealer, but these guys were fair, easy to work with and willing to go the extra mile to get my business. I spot a problem with my prospective vehicle during a test drive and they fixed it and earned my business. Stand up place. I'll be back.

I've purchased 3 vehicles from Pittman Motor Company over the past couple of years. John and Marla take the time to get to know you and treat you like longtime friends everytime you walk in the door. Their stock on-hand is good quality and if they don't have it, they'll try to find it for you. Drive around the Lindale/Mineola/Van area and you'll see plenty of vehicles with their dealer decal on the back. They sell a lot of cars because of their excellent reputation. Worth the drive from wherever you are.

Marla was extremely influential in talking my 91 yr old father into purchasing me a 2005 Buick Le Sabre. He came in with checkbook in hand...need I say more?The car was barely home in my diveway before the battery was dead. This was Thanksgiving week. I called Mr. Pittman about it, and yes he did actually send his crew out w another battery, but only after being rude about it, and insinuating I was lying.A week later I was pulled over and ticketed because the tail light was out...took in to get it fixed and they said whole car was wired wrong, which would've been very OBVIOUS to any car dealer.So this goes on, and on the whole year I own the car. Bad AC, which finally went out completely, bad muffler. ...etc.Yes, we did buy car AS IS. But the point is, they KNEW they were selling a piece of junk.My father has since passed away, but I think they should be ashamed of taking full advantage of him, or anyone for that matter...honest family business....NOT

Pittman car sales has good used vehicles and I might have bought from them if the young man that was helping us wasn't so cocky. They are a little over priced and unwilling to negotiate, I'm a lot like the president if you don't want to work with me I will walk which is just what I did.

Deceitful, lies. Don t go there. They say they don t sell junk cars but he sold me nothing but junk and he lied about it. I went to Pittman's in hopes of purchasing a vehicle/truck that would be reliable. John showed me a two tone Red and White '85 Ford truck. I asked his sales guy if they tuned-up and gave this truck an oil change and he said "every vehicle that comes through here is tuned up and given an oil change . That was a lie and deceitful. I drove it around town and it seemed ok. I had to drive to Dallas one day because of an emergency and I got no further than Canton. The transmission was jumping and acting crazy as well as the oil gauge. I pulled over and pulled the dip stick out and it was bone dry!! Keep in mind I hadn t driven this vehicle to any other place but to my land in Lindale and around the land, that was it! When I took it back to him and told him about the oil being dry he acted confused. I asked him why did your guy tell me that every vehicle oil is changed. Again, John acted confused and said not all the vehicles on his lot has this done. The truck was so bad he had to do something so he had be look at another truck. A 2000 Chevy Silverado. It seem to drive fine from what I could tell however the check engine light and coolant light both were illuminated. I told John I would buy the truck under the condition that he repaired the check engine light as well as the coolant light. He agreed and when I picked up the truck after being away on a business trip not 30 minutes later both lights were on again. Once again I took it back to him to repair. I had dropped it off to him a total of 4 times and the problem never was corrected. Each time I picked the truck up both lights indicating the coolant was low and to check engine light was illuminated within 30 minutes of driving it. The last time I picked up the truck my step father had tragically lost his life to PTSD so the truck wasn t as big of an issue at the time. So dealing with the death in my family I put the truck on the back burner. I called him a month ago and asked what all he did to my truck each time I dropped it off to him and he said he didn t know. I said well surely if you fixed anything you would have it documented?? So, he took my number and said he would find out and give me a call. I never got a call back from him. I called him today and asked what he found out and he said he fixed the A/C. I said nothing was wrong with the A/C and he then said he s done with this truck and hung up on me. This truck cost me $7999.00 and I was ripped off by John Pittman. He doesn t do anything he says he will do. He is unethical, untrustworthy and will do whatever he has to do to make a sale. I probably would have had better luck with buying a truck from a complete stranger instead of a professional rip-off artist like John Pittman.

just had to write a comment because a customer just came in and reminded us we have some strange reviews on Google. These days most of us are pretty computer savvy and we understand that Google is just a search engine. People can write whatever they want on the internet and never be held accountable or even be forced to share their name. Pittman Motor Co has been family owned and operated here in Lindale for over 10 years now and a BIG part of this community. If you are reading this it is because you still think Google reviews hold some merit. A better choice would be the Better Business Bureau which gives us an A+ rating. Great experience they were straight forward with everything answered all my questions and were extremely family friendly! Not to mention i went in late in the evening and they helped get my loan pushed through and I had the truck i picked out by noon the next day. I'll definitely be a returning customer.
