Hank s rebuilt my 02 Ford Ranger and did a fantastic job! Pulled the heads had them done at Ray s engine shop. Transmission was rebuilt at Noble s Transmission. Hank s rebuilt the differential, re sealed the bottom end, put a new power steering rack in and rebuilt the front suspension. It took a little over a month but the quality is worth it. Had a small issue that they were able to take care of under warranty for me. Thanks to Pete and Justin at Hank s and Ed at Noble s for keeping me informed through the entire thing and ensuring I was back on the road with a reliable vehicle!

I am so grateful for Hanks auto repair. I had noises coming from a cash car I purchase as well as the check engine light stayed on. I visited many mechanics and shops hoping this time will be the last one, just to fix things that was not why I dropped off the car. Dalton Murrow (mechanic at Hanks) advised me to bring the car to Hanks auto repair. It has been a week or more and there are no lights on in the dashboard, I am able to use the auto start and my concerns were addressed and fixed. Thank you Dalton and staff. I am a satisfied customer.

Johnathan was very friendly and professional! Kept me informed on the progress of my repair. Everyone(Joe) associated with this company was amazing. Even the lady who picked me up from the airport was professional and friendly. This is the place to get your vehicle repaired. Johnathan even dealt with the insurance so I didn t have too. Very pleased!!!!

We were in Lindale from out of town. We had some car trouble and stopped by this place, not knowing anything about them. Based on my experience I would HIGHLY recommend them. They were amazing. Got us back on the road within hours. They were kind and easy to work with and all around a great team. ALL of them! Wish they were closer to home and we d use them all the time! I d give them more than 5 stars.

I can't say enough about how amazing the people and service are at Hank's.I was traveling and my car started overheating and smoke was coming out from under the hood. They took me in and quickly found the problem, fixed it, and I was back on the road. Not only was the service amazing, the owners and staff were so friendly and personable. I am so grateful to them and their staff for going out of their way to accommodate me in my emergency situation. They saved the day for me!I travel through Lindale often, and now know that I have a reliable and dependable place to take my car while travelling, that also feels like family.They are truly a blessing to me and I am forever grateful!Debbie L

I absolutely love this place. I've never needed a mechanic till I bought my truck (it's a 2008 Dodge ram). Justin at the front is ALWAYS super courteous and very informative. I've only met a few mechanics there but they have always been incredibly nice. I completely trust everything they do and have suggested. They give you options before just doing things.

Hank s got me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time! Squeezed me in with short notice the day before I brought it in and made it happen. Great customer service with a get it done kind of attitude. These guys will get it done and hold to their word.

It was a great experience with this company when I needed help! They looked at the problem and fixed it quickly and effectively. They didn t try to sell me on things I didn t need, but outlined the worst case scenario first. The price was reasonable and a great atmosphere to have my car worked on! Thank you for the help!!

I took my boys to Tyler for a College and brokedown on my way back home to Arlington. Looked up Hanks and they were able to get me back on the road. Very patient with me and stayed after their closing yogurts too! I m very appreciative of their customer service.Thank you Hanks Automotive.

Called about safety issues of folks/tow trucks parking half way on the shoulder in front of their business making it uncomfortable and difficult to see oncoming traffic on the highway coming out from the Dominos parking lot. I actually watched someone trying to leave from Hanks yday, and they almost pulled out in front of a semi, then a car because even they couldn't see oncoming traffic due to the hazard that "sometimes cant be helped." -which this is what made me decide to post this. When i called about the safety concern a few days ago and let them know this has been an issue for me for two years, i had to call back becauae she "accidentally" hung up on me in the end when i was still talking. They may do good work, but her professionalism and empathy are lacking. Wish i had gotten her name, i assume she has more of a hand in the business than the person who answered since she was the one who took the complaint. Its a shame cause everyone else ive talked to over the years seem genuine.

This shop is first class and had one of the best work ethics in a repair shop that I ve seen in a very long time. It all starts from the top down and Pete the owner was top notch. I was traveling from Louisiana to NM for work and they were able to get me out of a bind with my vehicle in a reasonable amount of time. Don t look pass this business if your from Lindaletx or traveling through

All I can say is thay are great I broke down going through got there information off Google went over & thay started on my truck soon as thay could get the parts had me out in Record time These guys & girls are great I loved how thay Kept me posted Even offered to find me a rental car thay only offer a 5 star rating would have gave a 10 star thanks so much for all yalls help

The owner is an incredibly good human! We were stranded on the side of the road traveling to Florida on our family vacation. Hank s was fully booked but got us in anyways first thing on a Saturday morning. He spent a couple of hours checking everything, diagnosed our issue and got us back on the road in no time.Thank you sir, for your kindness and excellent service!

What a great business. Honest and friendly. Justin was incredible, we hit a rock on the interstate and needed to have them inspect the car.Justin squeezed us into his teams busy schedule and did an inspection. They found no issues and sent us on our way with a smile and NO CHARGE Ownership has done a great job putting together a Honest, Friendly and Respectful team.If you live in the area give them a try you won t be disappointed

If it rolls,fly,or swims hanks Auto Repair is where you want to get your vehicle repaired. They will work on your Ac or diesel engine or anything else that you have that won t run. If your a business man like myself that s always on the run they will schedule in and believe me they will have you back on the road in no time. The owners are great there all about the customer service. My tow truck went in for some repairs I was stressed out my mind , but the technicians are awesome they definitely know what there doing. Great price on parts every thing was smooth just can t say enough. If your in lindale area and are your broke down let me tell you if your not getting your vehicle worked hanks , well you should definitely give Pete & Trish a call . You tried the rest now try the best.

Before we came to Hanks. We had some rude customer service at Walmart Automotive that was less than a half a mile down the road. The lady was rude and inconsiderate, so we chose to go elsewhere. Just out of a random pick we chose Hanks auto repair and boy it was worth it. We came in during our road trip to Florida because my skid plate came loose and was dragging on the road. They were able to fix it quickly and got us back on the road! Customer service was stupendous. If we ever have trouble again in the future. We know where we can come back to and know they will do a reliable job! Thank you for helping us! Definitely 5 stars deserved.

Traveling from alabama and ac compressor stopped. They were extremely busy but got me in quickly. Unfortunately my car is dealer only part but if I ever need anything and in the area I would definitely use them again. Great people as well as very welcoming. If there were more stars to give they absolutely deserve them. There were some unexpected issues that came up after they started the work that resulted in me having to leave my truck there over the weekend. Considering I have an older model truck it s expected, however they went above and beyond to assure I was taken care of. The owner even gave me a ride home! My truck runs like new again. Thank you guys for the great experience.

I highly recommend Hanks Auto Repair.I found this place by random and ended up calling and setting up an appointment. Something was repeatedly draining my truck battery. The staff was amazing, professional, polite, and diagnosed my problem quickly and efficiently. The problem ended up being an ignition with a parasitic drain. My ignition basically was worn out and not cutting off the engine properly, leaving the truck on and killing the battery every time. I am so thankful to have found Hanks Auto Repair. They did a wonderful job! 10 out of 10 would recommend. If I have another problem I'd definitely return to their shop.

We were blessed to breakdown between Mississippi and Colorado in small town Lindale! Pete, Trish and Justin went out of their way to get us back on the road safely! They worked hard before and after hours to replace our transmission and make sure everything was working perfect for the rest of our journey home. What stand up, caring people they are! I cannot praise Hank s enough!!!

About 4 months ago, my suburban messed up; the compressor wouldn't shut off. We called Hank's Diesel and Auto Repair and they immediately got me in, diagnosed the problem and even overnighted the parts. I dropped my suburban off the next morning (which happened to be a SATURDAY!) and they had it fixed by lunchtime. I can't say enough about their amazing service!! They are top-notch people, who go out of their way to take care of their customers. We will be customers for life!

We are on a cross country roadtrip in our RV and needed repair to continue on. Hank's was able to get us in and get us on our way without much down time. Kyle is an amazing mechanic and made sure everything was done right so we could continue on safely. He even picked us up and took us back to the shop. Two thumbs up!

Car broke down on I-20 in the middle of the night on our way back to Dallas from Baton Rouge, LA. Insurance company was searching the area between Lindal & Tyler. We searched at least 6 shops couldn t find a good one from reviews. Traveling with my family and having to stay in the car over night until the shop opened was a stressful thought until we arrived and seen the shop property was well kept and in a good location. After a restless night, the crew came in and made sure we were all fine, got our car into the shop immediately, found a fair quote, and got us in and out less than 2 hours (on top of them having a busy scheduled day already planned) I thank God we had our car issue in this exact area on highway 20. It s bitter sweet but I couldn t have asked for a better experience. The level of experience and knowledge share the mechanics displayed was remarkable as well. Great place to take your vehicle if you wanna be robbed...470.00 for 1 hr labor...grease all over car and left in floorboard..r udeowner...find you another place!...I just cant figure out who gives these crooks a good rating...since I took my car in..I've met 3 other folks who had similar experiences as I....How do you stay in business? You crook ....check their BBB rating c+...and that's way too high

While visiting Lindale our car broke down. When I explained our situation to Trish at Hank's, she assured me they could help get us back on the road again. She also recommended a Towing Service. Hank's provided us excellent service. They are wonderful, caring people and I highly recommend them.

Currently on a long distance trip from Florida to Dallas. I had my check engine light come on and came to these lovely people. They were super helpful. I would absolutely recommend coming to them for your car maintenance.

Hanks is a ABSOLUTE disappointment . There customer service was friendly until you realize it s a front, as Justin s tries to make you feel comfortable before they try squeezing you for every penny.I was not told that they only use OEM parts and was instead told, when I asked why the parts are so much it s the cheapest and fastest part we could find . I don t have much knowledge of cars and I feel they where taking advantage on that fact. Also the quote was circled dollar amount on a piece of paper with random numbers scrambled all over it. I had to ask for a typed up break down.I found the same work for 1200$ cheaper with a honest mechanic 10 min up the road.If I wanted OEM parts and products I would have gone to the dealership to get ripped off.Can t speak on there work, but being honest and transparency is what I am critiquing Hanks Automotive on, they have neither.I also like how the 5 star reviews on here never give any details, just a vague review. I find that Interesting .SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.-Goldfish

This business is perfect. Nice, caring folks, expert diagnosis, expert repair, excellent prices. They repaired a check engine light issue for free after they had repaired the major issue I brought in. I can t imagine any improvement to their operations I could possibly recommend. Well done, Hanks. Well done indeed!
