Just picked up my Yamaha v Star, this is my first cruiser and I absolutely love it. Jeff and these guys know their stuff and assured me that this bike would be a smooth ride with plenty of fun. The price was great and Jeff was super quick with the process but patient and answered all my questions thoroughly with a smile. I'm thrilled and will be shopping with these guys again. Thank you

They changed out my tires for me and did a great job for a very reasonable price. The lowest price out of the 3 places I called, actually. They also were able to accommodate me without an appointment where other places were two weeks out which was the reason I went to them. The guys there were really cool too and it didn't take long. Definitely going back to them for anything I can't do myself, I was very impressed.

The crew here is excellent. I've taken two every day riding bikes here so far and have been more than satisfied every time. Dropped my 2018 HD Street Bob off late Friday after 5pm to have new tires installed (I supplied tires, tubes and rim strips) and they had it done by 1pm Saturday. Since I ride every day, I don't like to leave my bike for days at a time. I paid significantly less for the tire change than I would've at the dealership and felt like they took better care of my bike. 10/10 will continue taking my bikes here.

I have always bought parts and have done business with them, even back when they were called 121 Redline Racers. I never had an issue with them because they always conducted business well. About a month ago, I brought my Yamaha R6 to get some work done. They replaced the headlight assembly and did some additional work, which cost me roughly $1,800.I got the bike back and washed it like any other day. Unfortunately, the headlight fogged up and I noticed droplets of water had made it inside. Initially, I was not upset nor angry. I simply brought the bike in to fix the issue. I told the guy about the problem I ran into, and he responded with, "...motorcycles aren't meant to be washed. They're meant to be hand washed." He even said, "they are not even meant to be driven in the rain." He refused to fix the issue.I spent roughly $1,800; the least they could have done was open it up and check it out. I would have been happy if they had just fixed the problem and there wouldn't have been any sort of issue with it. Overall, a good business aside from how they handled this situation.

So very disappointed from the way this entire shop conducted business. I spent over $1400 on my 2012 KX250F with these guys to have a blown motor in the end & then I'm the one to have gotten blamed! The Owner Didn't think twice before calling me saying it was a error on my behalf.I dropped off my motor and front forks originally. Then I picked up the motor and forks about 2 weeks later, their diagnosis was I needed new valves & springs, valves seats and a water pump seal kit. I told them I wanted THE ENTIRE MOTOR checked out and that s all they said was needed! After getting home I realized they didn't release air in the forks properly so they weren't rebounding all the way, (45 mins drive) so I had to take it all the way back for them to get the job done right.Of course the first thing I did was put oil, coolant, they put in a new oil filter, & a brand new air filter then after this ONLY 11.5 hours later on my "new" motor...poof it's blown. So I took the entire bike back to them (they requested) instead of just the motor and they blame me for it not having any oil, when I literally keep a spare quart of oil for the bike in my truck AT ALL TIMES. Before every ride I'd check the oil and they weren't hearing it, "either pay another $150 or pick it up! Oh & it better be within the next 5 days or I'll start charging storage fees!"Mind you I NEVER ONCE gave them an attitude, talked rude or disrespectful. I never rushed them or got in the way, and I still got treated like I wasn't a good, paying in full, on time type of customer. Nor I did the owner try to ever resolve this big problem. I DID NOT feel anywhere near being family as I've seen in other comments for this shop.I will never recommend this place to anyone which is a huge loss of their behalf.I started to wonder why there so many bikes in the lot and if the work was done right or rushed out the door, I've posted some pictures below of the damage done, MIND you I paid them to check over my ENTIRE motor and they told me everything was fine other than the work that was done. If it was a loss of oil why isn't my piston heat burned and looks brand new? Nor does the crank cases have any signs of oil loss. My motor did not blow up from a loss of oil.As you can see from their response below, they re not even trying to resolve this issue, more of just blaming me! How can an engine go 11.5 hours with no oil, IT CAN T. Like you need me to tell you that! I have clear PROOF from pictures showing that oil was still in the bike WHEN I PERSONALLY TORE THE MOTOR DOWN MYSELF.YOU GUYS ARE A JOKE! I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW THE OWNER MIKE IS HANDLING THIS SITUATION. SHOWS HOW MUCH HE CARES FOR HIS CUSTOMERS. Aka THE PEOPLE THAT KEEP YOUR BUSINESS FLOWING.

My husband has been using this shop as a primary for his motorcycle journey. Jeff, the owner goes above and beyond for each customer every time. I went in to see the inventory and notice Jeff kept the store phone attached to his hip. That says a lot as customer service has significantly dropped through the pandemic. We ve been to many bike shops and you won t find one like his, he s personal, genuine. never trying to overcharge but looks to serve customers what s best for them. Not to mention Marty and Alex the mechanics are knowledgeable and very skilled at what they do. Highly recommend we won t go anywhere else metric motors sport has earned our business.Services: Auto detailing, Battery, Oil change

This place is amazing, it s not uncommon to find people just stopping by to chat. The environment is open and inviting. Lots of bikes to choose from weather hunting for a project bike or just wanting something already put together and ready to ride. They got it. If you leave your bike here the techs in the back Alex and Marty don t let things fall through the crack. I have personally seen them buddy up on projects and double check each other s work. Not to mention Jeff, who believes in 2 things fair deals and doing the right thing. I guess if that s not your deal then.. kick rocks.Personal experience.I had NEVER ridden a bike before and bout a smoking hot offer up special of a bike. FIRST off don t do that.SECOND this place is the only place that would give my first bike even a look.AND when I got there I was met great spirited bike enthusiasm, great customer service and a speedy check up. I have sense bought a second bike from here and they do all my service. It s truly a breath of fresh air riders and enthusiasts alike.Service: Engine repair

My experience at the motorcycle shop was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Despite bringing my motorcycle in for repairs, the shop was unable to fix the issues properly. The mechanics seemed inexperienced and unskilled, and their lack of attention to detail was evident in the subpar workmanship. Communication was poor, and I had to constantly follow up for updates, only to be met with vague responses. It was disheartening to see my bike in worse condition than before and to realize that the shop had no intention of taking responsibility for their mistakes. Overall, it was a highly unsatisfactory experience that left me with a broken motorcycle and a feeling of wasted time and money.

Great folks. Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable. Mike rocks. Have taken 3 bikes there and every time it has been a great experience. Affordable, fast and honest. They even rebuilt a rear brake caliper while I waited. It was getting close to closing time but they handled it. Much appreciated! They are a little out of the way for me, but I will take my work there whenever possible. Highly recommended.

So I brought my bike to this shop for the first time to have some aftermarket mirrors put on. I asked about how much and I was told it would take an hour. I dropped my bike off around 12:30. I swung by around 4:30 because I hadn t heard anything. I was told it had not been started yet because, a lift had not opened up. Generally, installing mirrors does not require a lift. I think what the guy was trying to say was that they were busy doing other sh!t. That would have been nice to know before dropping my bike off. Then they closed at 6. They had my bike the entire following day and still didn t get to it. I was told my bike was a blast to ride. That s nice. I picked up my bike and rode home, no mirrors installed. The only reason I didn t give this experience one star is because they seemed like nice guys; even if they ride instead of service your bike.

Horrible experience. I sent my bike to the shop to get the valves replaced, and they did everything wrong. First; when I got there the gentlemen who helped me, decided to tell me what was wrong with my bike and then proceeded to wheelie the bike in front of me and almost weeded it out in front of me. Second; they told me my repair would take 4 days, and it took almost two weeks! Finally; when I got the call my bike was done, it was promptly followed by them telling me they dropped my bike and that I was the one responsible for fixing it. I honestly have never been so upset over a mechanical repair before. As I was about to let this go I decided to go ahead and take my top end apart by myself after the fact and low and behold they didn't replace any gaskets or seals on my bike and I had to repair it again!! If the owner sees this I am more than happy to have my mechanic prove with photographic evidence that my seals were not replaced and his shopped used copper sealing agent(cheap) instead of the gaskets you are meant to use.DO NOT BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE!!Service: Engine repair

Last year I was in need of new tires and brakes. Having an older 1995 Goldwing I was looking for a local shop who would put some tires and brakes on it for me. I looked on line and found Metric who had positive reviews so I thought I would give them a try. Jeff and Mike put on a set of Elite 4s and new brakes. Their service was great and their prices were fair. Fast forward to this year, I had a broken valve stem. There was only one place I was going to go and that was Metric. Again, great service and fair pricing. A week later I had a question and they knew I was about to go on a 3000 mile trip so they told me to swing by and they did a quick safety check free of charge. Now I can ride with confidence. I highly recommend Metric Motorsports.

I hardly ever give 5 stars, but this time it is in order. Got new tires, tuning, and a readjustment of my suspension on my Triumph Tunderbird. Mike did a fantastic job. Lucy kept in touch and I was never in the dark about what was getting done. The price was reasonable and they stuck to the estimate. They were very responsive to my requests and wishes. We will take our bikes to them for everything from now on.

Well, at first I was impressed and had pocketed their business card for any work I may need done in the future. I had brought in a scooter that my fiancee had purchased for me on Amazon as a Christmas gift. I just wanted it looked over to make sure it was assembled correctly and functionally to avoid any issues I may experience in the future. What convinced me to get it looked at was when it showed up the gas tank was punctured but the manufactuer was quick to replace it. I had replaced the tank and it started and worked pretty well. I was told by this shop that the solenoid should be relocated, so I told them to go ahead and do it.It was only a little over $100 so I thought that was fair. The second time I rode the bike after taking it home, the battery was fried because there was an exposed wire that contacted with the chassis. I since sold the bike because I don't have the time or money to continue trying to keep it operational.I cannot be certain the shop is responsible for this occurence, but it worked before I took it here and had a small correction made, this led to bigger issues.

I've been in Texas for approximately a year. Metric Motorsports was the first shop I came across to service my bike and the service is and has always been OUTSTANDING ! The entire crew is very friendly, courteous but most importantly KNOWLEDGEABLE. The crew doesn't make you feel as though you're just coming in to get something fixed. I literally feel as though I'm around life long friends, from the technicians all the way up to management. If you're looking for quick yet great work done to your bike this shop is beyond capable.

I have a black 08 Harley Ultra Classic that was running terribly. I was told you need to take it to an experienced Dyno Tuner. Oddly, I called this shop and talked with Mike, who assured me he could tune my Harley. I am skeptical by nature of most mechanics, but I took a chance on Mike and he delivered. He didn't gouge me on price, kept his word and now my Harley runs great. I highly recommend this shop. All these guys are friendly and honest. From now on, my Harley goes to Mike for any future work. It's hard to find techs that you can really trust. ***Note- they are a little tucked away behind a strip building, but worth the search! **Also, some one came in and paid the ticket for me!! That was answered prayer for sure!!!

Jeff and mike did a great job! they fixed my Kawasaki fast and cost effectively. These guys tell you exactly which parts are still good and what actually needs to be repaired, unlike the dealer. This is my new bike shop here in the Dallas area. Go to these guys instead of the dealer and save yourself time and money.

Bought a ninja 650 for 5500. Literally a few weeks later it started to turn off while idling in neutral. Kawasaki stated it would take 2k to repair it stating the bike was all sorts of messed up. Another repair shop confirmed that information. And of course metric motor sports stated the bike was fine when they sold it BUYER BEWARE. PAY MORE AND BUY ELSEWHERE. Con artists work here.

Metric Motorsports is a great small business that is perfect for your motorcycle repai needs. They provide timely and complete repair service for your motorcycle and off road equipment. I have had nothing but good experiences dealing with the people who work there. Kate and Mike in the front office area are friendly and professional. They handle your motorcycle needs with the knowledge that the job will be done right the first time. Also, they remember their customers. Whether its six months or six days, they pay attention to their customers and are loyal. I recently had an incident where I was stranded by the highway, within half an hour, they had retrieved myself and my bike and brought it to the shop. It was repaired in the time promised and I was on the road in no time. Although they are not right on the highway, it is worth your while to pay them a visit for your motorcycle repair needs in the north DFW area.

I called metric motorsports when I had realized that I had got in over my head on a handlebar installation. Mike answered the phone and said they would get me in no problem and with a great hourly rate ($65 less than most dealerships). Brought my bike down, met the staff, and left my bike with them. Ran into some speed bumps along the way, not their fault as I had ordered parts from another company, but they had patience with me and the situation. Finally got my bike back on a Saturday and it looked great. The next day I had some issues with the bike and started really looking it over, my fault for not doing this sooner, and noticed some scratches on my rear fender (2 to be exact). I was almost 100% positive they were not there when I dropped my bike off but I took pictures of it just to be sure and also noticed my bleeder caps on my front calipers were missing. Dropped my bike off again on Monday, they called later that afternoon and said it was fixed, my wiring problems were caused by loose battery terminal wires. Then they said well we didn't do anything with the battery so we don't know how that happened... Ok... Put my helmet on the back rest, gave it a quick glance, caliper covers were on, didn't notice anything unusual, hopped on and rode home. This was right before they closed.Parked the bike in my garage and left it at that. The weekend came around and I went to go clean it before a ride. Noticed a new scratch on the rear fender, made a mental note, compared my photo and went through the rest of the bike. I then noticed the plugs on my frame, the ones wire run THROUGH were missing. I even went to the local dealership to make sure they're supposed to be there. Called Mike, he said he'd look into it, brought up the scratches, he apologized, and said he'd talk to the tech. I called them today to get some follow up, Mike said well the tech is here and hands him the phone. Tech says "well I installed them so I don't know what happened to them. You drove off with the bike". I ask, you sure we're talking about the same plugs, he describes them to me and again says he installed them and that I drove off with the bike. I felt this was just a bold face lie and that I should have gone over the bike with a microscope before I left, which trust me, after this experience I will be. My fault I guess right? I was so disappointed I decided it wasn't even worth bring up scratches and ended the callThese are plugs that have wires running through them and must be installed (into the bikes frame) before wires are run. They can't just vanish unless a) they were never installed or b) they weren't installed, they were cut so the wires would fit and then placed into the frame.... I would have been happier with "man I can't find them here, must have forgot them, and we tossed them". I wouldn't have even asked for them to be replaced as I know that would be labor intensive. The fact that I was told something that is just impossible to be true really left a bad taste in my mouth. That's not even considering the scratches.I had planned on rating Metric Motorsports and giving them 5 stars but I got busy and hadn't been able to get around to it. I'm glad I waited. I would give Mike 4 1/2 stars, and to be honest, he's the only reason they're getting 3. Attention to detail just wasn't there, something I may have got had I paid $150 an hour. I truly wish them all the success but I will not be coming back, which seems they're ok with as well. I have learned to take photos of the bike before taking it to a shop and to go through every little detail before taking it back, no matter if they're about to close or how rushed for time you might be.

Original review was good, the guys were nice... But then issues came up left and right. The first repair job was botched, busted again with 30mins of riding. so had to bring it back for a second time. Botched AGAIN. Shifter actually broke off due to such a poor wielding job, called them in a panic cause after riding it for 20minutes shifter broke, ignition wiring went bad and I was stuck in first gear, couldn't turn off my ATV, pulled the key started making a massively loud clicking noise, some smoke came from the engine so I had to turn it to on again and leave it on until my brother came out and detached the battery. I got minor help from them during that phone call and have received nothing since even after leaving a message that day to someone telling them to let Mike know what happened. I suggest looking elsewhere.

Awesome experience, I've only been riding for a year and don't know much mechanical wise. Had a problem with my clutch and brought it in. These guys explained to me in great detail what the problem was and order the new parts at a great cost. They were right on the money with the estimate. Sick ass local shop.
