Lorentz Automotive and Staff are absolutely THE BEST, especially Frank! Well worth the trip from Southlake to have Lorentz fix our truck. We are new customers for Lorentz and we will not go anywhere else. We purchased a pre-owned truck that had an aftermarket lift kit. The kit was poorly installed and caused significant damage. Frank and team did an awesome job repairing these problems and were fair with their pricing. Frank also reached out to us about two unrelated issues with the truck that we were unaware of and to care of them. I wish we knew of Lorentz before we bought this truck from the dealership, in the future, Lorentz will inspect any pre-owned vehicle we want to purchase. Lorentz is thorough, high quality work and fair prices. Very trustworthy and going forward they'll be the only ones servicing our vehicles. Thank you Frank and Lorentz!

Stopped in to see if they could tighten an oversized ball nut on our tow hitch. The nice guys there took it in the back and torqued it to 400 foot-pounds for us..handed it back to us and said no charge. Not very often anymore you get a free service, but it sure was appreciated. Lorentz Staff and Auto Repair Experts are the Best. They find the problem, make you aware and resolve it. They do it Correct the First time. Their price is very fair. I have been a Lorentz customer for nearly 30 years, the Reason is they do it Correctly the first time and done in a Professional Manner. There Management Team has many years of Experience, they have had the tools in there hand s before, which enables them to ensure it s done right along with providing correct information to the customer.

I usually do my own maintenance but didn t have time to do an oil change recently so I took it to LorentZ. They were courteous, professional, snd went above and beyond. Great job.

We are new to Texas and I did a lot of research before deciding on a shop to bring our vehicle to. I chose Lorentz Automotive because I liked that it was family owned and I appreciated the reviews I read. I am very happy I went with Lorentz. My car needed some serious work. I told them I would probably just end up getting a new vehicle rather than do the repairs. When I asked if a less expensive repair would work, they were honest with me and told me why it wasn't a long-term fix. They could have just gone with my suggestion and made additional money off of me. Instead, they helped me find dealers in the area and helped me decide on a fair ask for my used car. Their help was invaluable in finding a long-term solution that was best for me even if it wasn't necessary best for their immediate bottom line. I will be bringing my vehicles back for all my automotive needs.

Frank was a big help. He gave me a ride back home. Their system for giving you a quote and a breakdown of the issues is online and easily understood. They also included pictures of some of the issues for my own understanding. Will be using them in the future

After receiving a lenghty and costly report of repairs from the Lexus dealership, I sought out a second opinion from Lorentz Automotive. My first impression and the service was exceptional. They did a complete diagnosis and found some issues but was told what was absolutely necessary which was an air filter that Lexus dealership had not changed in ages during oil changes. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. Frank was my service advisor and gave me a ride home during the preventive maintence check. I have now found my new mechanic shop to keep my Lexus running for years and will be bringing my husband's car for service in the near future. Thank You!

First time using Lorentz Automotive. I was so very pleased from start to finish. Made an online appointment, dropped car off and they even gave me a ride home. I have been using this company for over 25 years. They have always treated me fair and honestly. Their services are dependable and fast. I like that they inspect the entire automobile and review it with me before any service is done, and will only do what I agree with, without hassling me. So nice having that type of service. Mike was my contact person there and he has been so easy to work with every time. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to have work done on your auto.

Nice respectful staff, It cost around what I thought it would, so no price gouging there. Explained what was wrong and price up front. 3 year warranty is a great piece of mind for someone who has no car guy to help anymore. Overall painless, lol. I got a ride to my house and back which is a great service too. All in all a good experience!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Battery

Came to get a state inspection because we bought a car. It was quite clear the employees didn't want to help us. They seemed very unhappy to have to get out of their chair and do it. Not only that, but they didn't pass it for reasons that weren't true, such as the running tail lights were out - we checked them and they were working just fine. Got our state inspection elsewhere no issues. Quite rude.

I am so thankful I found these guys! Frank was great. Everyone I spoke with was kind & explained issues with my car to my understanding. The repairs were less than expected & I got my car back same day! They really seem to care about their customers & their cars. Will definitely do business with them again!

Been going to Lorentz for a little over a year now. Mike, Shane and the rest of the crew are great people. Good workmanship and no nonsense. If you re looking for a place to do work for cheap then it s probably not for you but, if you want it fixed properly in the first place then Lorentz is where you should go.

I m never let down anytime I go to Lorentz Automotive. The people are very friendly and you can tell they always know what they re doing, unlike other mechanic shops I ve been to. My service advisor Mike Hidalgo was amazing and extremely helpful!!! I ll definitely be coming to Lorentz for all my car repair needs!

I had to have my alternator replaced on my 2016 Nissan, and the entire experience was wonderful. Everyone was so nice, responsive to my questions, and communicative. My car is running great! A few years ago I was looking for a dependable auto repair shop. I had drove by Lorentz Automotive on Mill Street in Lewisville numerous times. So I decided to stop, I haven't regretted my decision. Always have received TOP NOTCH exceptional service and repair. I HIGHLY recommend Lorentz Automotive for your vehicle servicing, and repairs when required. Stop-in and visit with Shane, or Mike, and their certified mechanic's are great, you will not be sorry you did, always excellent service. These guys are great! I took my car their for an issue they fixed and kept me updated regularly. For another issue they diagnosed for me others could not and Toyota dealership was going to charge me $800 to just diagnose. Lorentz was able to diagnose it for free and find the issue. Frank was my service provider and he did a great job. Kept me up to date on the repair and got it don't right.

The reviews don t mean anything. I took my vehicle 3 times in one month and they still couldn t fix the issue at hand. I paid 2300 dollars, losing money, work time, and I still had to take it to the dealership. When I took it they would say they were working on my vehicle and when I drove by I would just see the vehicle outside. When I would pick it up the issue/check engine light would return by the next day. The last time I took it in, they told me I needed to add some sort of liquid, and would need to run it with the check engine light from now on. Over all I lost money, work, time and will lose more time as I need to take it somewhere else. They only take your money here, I would tell everyone to stay clear from here.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

They guys at Lorentz did an amazing job of installing an axle back exhaust to my RC350. The service was amazing, they worked efficiently and had me out in less than 30 minutes. Very fair price for the job and quality work. I will definitely be back for my future exhaust needs!

I brought in my 38 Damon Daybreak Class A RV for a safety inspection. This is not a simple process, as moving that rig is complicated. But the folks at Lorentz Automotive got me right in, and through the process quickly and without any issues. Well done guys. You ve got my repeat business for sure.

We recently moved to Denton. Then my 2003 corvette broke in a parking lot of a restaurant. A friend recommended this place and we took a chance. They were AWESOME! Great service, quick responses and were professional to me and my daughter. Highly recommend them! Worth the drive from Denton!
