Called this location & spoke with Justin for vehicle inspections. They do not take appts, but he did make recommendations on times & to call to make sure the inspector was in for the day. Very helpful. Check in was super fast! The comfort of the waiting area was the best! I was able to work while I waited, so very happy about the internet service for sure. They had sweets & beverages of all options, which was lovely. I was here for less than an hour, as I only had one person ahead of me for an inspection. Check out flowed smoothly as well. Very happy with my visit. And I got a kind note & treat after. Amazing service & kindness for sure.

I ll be a loyal customer for life. I had a traumatic experience recently at another dealership and after going round and round for 2 days with the service department I called for a tow and had the vehicle moved to Honest 1. They devoted their time and resources to check every concern the dealership had raised and ultimately found that the solution was as simple as a drained battery. After testing the vehicle several times to make sure they did not miss a single potential issue, they returned the car to me fully functioning AND waived the diagnostics fee. I cannot express how thankful I am to have a trustworthy and compassionate place to bring my vehicle.I ll also note that their service center is a surprisingly lovely place to wait for a vehicle. My kids never want me to schedule my oil changes when they re in school as they want to be with me for hot chocolate or a juice box and play time in their kids corner.The team is excellent and the work is superb. I can t imagine ever bringing a car anywhere else.

Took my car in for a state inspection.The front desk staff are incredibly nice and professional, and the waiting area is hospitable and comfortable to sit in while waiting for car repairs/inspections.Service was done quickly and the prices are fair.

I definitely would recommend doing an appointment and making sure I either don t have plans that day or getting another car. I dropped my car off at 8:30a and didn t get it back until 4p. Was a bit unsettled about that because my day was taken away from me not having a car and I was late for pick up for my kid. But overall for the maintenance, service and prices; I will definitely come back and recommend. The inside was very clean, great movies on the watch and magazines to read. They had good options for snack and drink there while you wait and also leave you a snack in your car after the service is done. It s in a good location also around a lot of shops and restaurants if you don t want to wait there everything is in walking distance.

Being a woman-owned shop made a difference from the moment I walked in! Very clean shop, welcoming waiting area with a great coffee bar and snacks, and friendly employees. They take the time to tell you price up front, show pictures of anything they find, and give you the cost again before doing anything. No pressure to do any extra work. This isn't the closest shop to my home but I will return for my next service needs!

I went to 6 other places trying to get an inspection. It s late in the day and all the big brand places didn t feel like messing with it. I called Honest-1 and the lady was extremely nice on the phone. She asked her technician and he said he would stay and wait for me to arrive. They were very accommodating, snacks, and beverages available as well. I m extremely impressed and they have gained a new customer. I ll be inquiring about switching our fleet vehicles over to their service plans. Thanks guys!WarrenDAV

I have been coming here for 3 years and have always been taken care of. Staff is kind and very hospitable! Justin, the manager, is amazing!! I feel like a lot of car places just want your money but Honest-1 just genuinely wants to efficiently take care of the problem and truly cares about their customers! Love this place!

I had used this shop for years. The last two times, bolts were not replaced on engine cover. A time before the engine cover was not replaced. The vehicle had been in for work that had to be shopped out. I understand that and had no issue; however, when I received the vehicle its oil light would come on at a stop light. This had not been an issue prior to bringing it in. I was told it was an idle motor issue. A few weeks later I took it to Brake Masters to replace said motor and to get an oil change. They ran a check on the engine and found oil leaking into the engine valves, etc. and refused to touch it. I cannot believe a diagnostic check had not been done on the vehicle to make sure all repairs had been made before giving it back. On another occasion, I was told my transmission was no good after they had replace the engine. I limped the vehicle to Competitive Transmission who found the transmission connected improperly and fixed the problem inside of an hour. While the folks at Honest One are nice folks, the mechanics who serviced my vehicle didn t really know what they were doing.

Fantastic experience!! Super kind customer service, was quick for my state inspection, and they have snacks + drinks complimentary for you in the indoor waiting lobby. Free Wi-fi too if you re wanting to work on your laptop/phone while you wait.

I came here to get my car inspected for this year, they failed me because supposedly "my windshield was tinted", even though they passed me last year with the same car, same windshield, same everything.They told me to go to a Tint World nearby to get it fixed, to their surprise, that Tint World was the place where I got my windows tinted 3 years ago. The Tint World people told me that my windshield was in compliance with the law and they even printed out a document from the TxDMV website that said so.I went back to the Honest Auto Care shop with the proof that I received from the Tint World people saying that my windshield was perfectly fine. Even with that, they were still giving me a hard time and they didn't pass my car inspection. When I asked them why they passed me last year then, they didn't had an answer for me.So I took my car somewhere else and it passed the inspection with no issues at all. Bottom line, don't waste your time and money at this place, they clearly don't know what they're doing.

I I came in for a state inspection on Monday and they failed me for my back window tint on my 2016 ford mustang. Which the tint was already on the car when I bought it a year ago and now the 3 owner of it. Had no issues in the past with getting it state inspected and on top of that it took them 2 hours and charged me $50 when I could have gotten it done cheaper. Never come here ever. P.S I worked with this place and the managers here are so rude. They made me wash there cars. And go to there house and clean up there back yard off the clock

They have free drinks, coffee and snacks which is seemingly nice. The bathroom is clean. However, it took 1.5 hours for an oil change even with an appointment. The kids area needed cleaning up (I went on a Monday morning so it should have been tidy and vacuumed). They also first told me I could do semi or full synthetic then after 30 minutes of waiting told me I needed full synthetic since I didn't know what kind I had last time. It felt like they were trying to up sell me. I haven't ever heard you can't switch back to semi after getting a full synthetic oil change but that's what they told me. It cost $93 with a $15 off coupon for a full oil change on my minivan. I won't be back.

I have family, friends and occasional work in Dallas. 2-3 times Ive made it to Dallas and one of my cars needed attention. This place has been great. Their head mechanic was very communicative, very smart and capable. The last time he fixed my Miata suspension perfectly, handling and all.So when my old Mercedes needed an oil change it was nothing for me to wake up early and drive from Argyle this morning to have them change it. Being an old Mercedes and being protective of it I went and got parts from the dealer.This is were a problem began. They refused customer supplied parts citing issues with people bringing in the wrong stuff. Ill add to their argument, people bring in cheap stuff too that doesn't meet spec.I said ok, what do you want to order in. The oil is very specific and Ill double check the filter is cloth like instead of cheap paper. They asked what I wanted. The problem is they just invalidated my opinion by refusing the branded parts I brought. Don't tell me I don't know anything and then ask me what I want. The front desk even went and looked under the hood trying to find what the car needed because the computer was vague. Mercedes and Mobil 1 have been in bed together for decades, their engineers design the shear value into the engine.I dont know whats happened to this place but its apparently starting to be severely mismanaged like so many places these days, such a shame.

I received an oil change from The Colony Honest 1 Auto Care today. It's was the best experience I have had to date getting an oil change. They offered a free shuttle service. The owner Robin personally dropped me off and picked me up. They offered me snacks and gave me a more than fair price. I will be a customer for life!!!!

First visit, it was a good visit. The establishment is really clean and the staff is really friendly. They have refreshments for customers whom are waiting along with working TVS to watch while you wait. The only reason for the 4 stars is that all of the customers that walked in after me all got their service and left. I was expecting a 1 hour and 30 minute wait but I was there for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Yes what they needed could have taken lesser time than my oil change but I know one of the customers behind me needed an oil change and additional things checked and inspected and he left before me. Maybe they were regulars, I m not sure but that was weird to me. Overall, give them a try, you will be satisfied.

I've gone here a number of times for service on both my Range Rover and my BMW. Each time the staff and technicians have been extremely pleasant, while taking good care of my vehicles. The prices are also very fare.

Honest-1 is just down the road from my apartment, I have come in multiple times just to have my tire air filled up, and this time I brought my car in for a couple bigger repairs. I just needed my front blinker light and sealing to be replaced as well as one of my break lights to be replaced. Adrianna is initially the one who completely handled my appointment. She was informative and helpful when quoting me and setting up a date for me to come in. They called me at some point throughout my car being with them to make sure they had the right information going into the break light replacement. I absolutely appreciated their clear communication and dedication to my experience being great. They wrapped up surgery on my car fairly quickly and it had ended up being even cheaper than I expected. They checked back a day or so after with a polite call to make sure my car was driving smoothly. I really appreciate that kind of customer service! They did fantastic and I ll definitely be returning (hopefully not too soon!) Thank you, Honest-1 for being my neighborhood auto repair and hero.

I went in to have a state inspection performed on my car. The staff were very warm and inviting and made me feel like a valued customer. It took very little time to complete the inspection and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes! Thank you!

My friend recommended this woman-owned auto shop nearby so I went there for my state inspection. I went about an hour before close on the weekend and did not have to wait. They had drinks and snacks available which I really appreciated given how hot it s been outside. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I ll definitely be back! Growing up with a mechanic father & having been manipulated by male employees in auto shops, I felt much more comfortable in this space. I ll definitely be back in the future and LOVE that they provide a shuttle service if your car won t be ready for a while!Service: Vehicle Inspection

They would not pass or fail my inspection. They requested $990 to replace all the components they felt necessary to pass my car.After deciding to get a second opinion at a different auto-shop, I only had to replace $400 worth of components and passed inspection.

We brought our pathfinder in for an oil change and inspection Saturday. This Monday evening I pulled it out garage to load it up for a trip out of state for holiday to find a puddle of oil on my garage floor. After checking underneath, my oil pan drain plug was only finger tight. Your service tech failed to properly check to make sure he did not forget to tighten every thing and inspect for leaks.Had I not caught this, it would not have been good for us to be stranded up in the mountains. They need to have a re-check check off system by another person who did not do the task in place to prevent things like this from happening.

I been getting my cars serviced by Honest 1 for 4 years. The customer service is always a pleasure. They have a doggy too which adds the extra love in the atmosphere. They don t pressure you to get other things done to your car if you need it. But when it s life or death they will! I love coming here!

I went to Honest-1 because my rear driver side door and trunk were stuck in the lock position and were unable to be opened. They could not be opened manually and were not responding to my remote. Honset-1 initially told me that they could fix the trunk, but that they were unable to get into the side door to see what the issue was and that I would need to go to a body shop to have it repaired. They told me I would not be charged diagnostic fees for this, as they were unable to get into the door to discover the problem. I said that this was fine, and to leave the side door alone for now and proceed with fixing the trunk.I was called again the next morning at 7:00 AM and informed that they had cut through the lock and removed the door in order to discover the problem. At this point, my options were pay an additional $500 for them to fix the side door, or pay $150 in diagnostic fees and they would put the door back on, but it would be permanently unlocked.I chose to not repair it at this time, but I'm frustrated that they went ahead and took the door off after they had told me it wasn't something they could fix. I was not informed of my options or quoted any prices before they removed the door. I would rather my door have been permanently locked then permanently unlocked.I was frustrated with the situation, but went ahead and paid for the diagnostic fees, even though we had originally agreed that they would leave the side door alone. When I got in my car, the interior side panels had been removed to get to the wiring and had not been reinstalled. I had to put the panels back on and recover the wiring under my wheel.I received my car in worse condition than I left it and was charged for it. Perhaps it was my fault and a lack of communication, but I feel very taken advantage of.

Normally I enjoy my experience here with Honest but this last time was not as enjoyable as it usually is. They have implemented a new 3.5% charge for any debit/credit card usage, which is only listed on the form you fill out. No mention of changes or advice to read through the form so very alarming to a repeat customer who is used to filling out the form and being seen. The woman at the front called me to the desk twice, advised me of some issues and when I declined, she just returned to her computer and left me standing there. No mention that we were finished speaking or that it would be a little longer and my vehicle would be finished. Once I checked out, same thing. Had me sign my receipt and went right back to her computer. No thank you, no call us if you would like to schedule any service, call us if you have questions....nothing. Again, just standing there waiting on further direction.The techs rummaged through not only my glovebox but my center console looking for my wheel lock, which is always right in the front of the glovebox. I understand looking for the lock, but if you go through someone's belongings, at least put them back instead of leaving them on the seat. Also, if you can't find it, instead of creating a mess ask the person where it is. Not only did they do this, but they also didn't return the wheel lock to the car. When I went in to ask about it, the younger woman in the front advised "we didn't touch your tires, there is no reason we would have it.". After i told her, they went through both of my consoles looking for it, her response again was the same. She finally got up and went to the tech bay and low and behold, the tech brought it in and apologized for having it. I'm not sure where this business started going downhill, but I'm disappointed in the service I received.Service: Oil change

Wonderful service as always. They text you photos of any parts in your vehicle that may need a repair. Extremely helpful to have a visual.
