Dave helped with the installation of an airbag suspension on my 1972 Mercedes 280SEL. He provided a great recommendation for the product and when it showed up and modifications needed to be made they were all over it. This is my first long-term project car. Dave not only gave me ideas I hadn't thought of but also walked me through what would give me the best bang for the buck on a limited budget. I still have some fine tuning to do on the suspension settings and he kindly offered to go through it together when I have time to stop by. In my business following through after the sale and continuing to serve the customer is paramount, and the team at DSD does exactly that.

Had my car in for some preventative maintenance, they did address additional concerns, however, when car picked up, the hood insulation that was replaced was falling down and also noted the A/C was not working, it worked prior to visit. I returned to correct insulation issue issue, which they did, forgot to mention A/C, I get home and noticed mounting bolts missing from A/C bracket pictured below, when questioned as to getting it repaired at their expense, I was told there were missing/incorrect bolts before bringing car in for work & no bolts were found "leftover" from job. So, If you want to pay premium $$ and have the scope of project completed, while breaking/leaving something else incomplete, bring it here. Oh, also doesn't reply to emails.

David and his team of professionals are absolutely amazing. I am fully satisfied with the work and customer service from beginning to end. They pay attention to every detail and have a love for cars which shows in the work they do. Furthermore, communication throughout the whole process was extremely easy. Hands down the best mechanic experience I ve ever had, everyone was super friendly and dropped everything they were doing that day to help us since we were on a road trip. You won t find the experience and knowledge on classic cars anywhere else. Dave made sure we we re comfortable and showed other projects in the shop and even messaged us making sure the car was running fine on the trip.

If you re looking for absolute excellence, extraordinary attention to detail all above industry standards...then stop your search efforts and call or pay a visit to DSD Automotive. Dave s inexhaustible knowledge and experience head and shoulders above the competition. I ve been a customer for over seven years now and I only trust DSD with that of my own and my family, friends and colleagues automotive needs and projects...

DSD Automotive did an incredible job on my Ford Escape! I had been involved in a minor, cosmetic-only accident and did not trust the insurance adjuster's assessment. DSD did a review of the vehicle behind the adjuster and found more items that needed to be added to the work order. DSD had the adjuster come back out to review the vehicle and go over the additional items found and all were approved. The close attention to detail in both form and function are unparalleled.When I went to trade my vehicle in a couple of years later, the accident was noted on the CarFax. The dealership went over the vehicle looking for evidence of the accident and asked me who did the work, because they found no evidence on the vehicle as it was flawless. I couldn't help but smile.If anyone truly values the investment of a vehicle and sees it as more than purely transportation, take it to DSD Automotive.

I highly recommend DSD Automotive! David and his team are highly skilled restoration specialists/artisans and the the attention to detail is second to none. I had him replace a scratched bumper on my 1988 560SL which always bothered me and also had him do some cosmetic leather improvements to my seats and straighten a very difficult bent hood vent as well. Not only is David and his team very detail oriented with their work, but David is also very resourceful and can find anything you might need for your car. David found a new stainless steel bumper plate for my car which was a very hard to find and then hand polished it to perfection for the original look. It turned out amazing and could not be happier with the outcome on my bumper along with the other cosmetic work he did on my car. If you re picky like I am, trust no one else with your car! They truly have a passion for prefection.

I can t tell you how instrumental DSD has been for my most prized possessions. The Desold family along with their staff restored my 1966 classic and also maintain my BMW 7 series. Anytime I have a mechanical issue, I don t hesitate to bring them back to who I trust, DSD Automotive.

What is DSD Automotive?DSD is the most diverse and organized shops that I have had the pleasure of working for. I had a few other jobs at automotive shops that are careless with your car and your money. But here all you will find is repeat customers that get their cars repaired the right way.DSD isn t a shop, it s a home for cars. It s where you take your car when it has been beat down, driven through tight corners, tough terrain, or just when it needs a little tune up. When you re car needs a small fix or a transmission repair or interior repair, body work, engine replacement, full restoration the list goes on... and on.I highly recommend taking your car(s) to DSD and working for DSD.

David and his dad at DSD are very resourceful having state of the art and old school capabilities in all phases of restoration . Very few shops in DFW can provide their attention to detail and provide exceptional service to any car you bring to their shop . They will meet or exceed your expectations.

I have never met someone with more car knowledge and a higher attention to detail than the owner Dave. He will be able to tell you things about your car that no one else can. From minor fixes to full restorations this is the place you NEED (not want) to take your car. I will be taking all of my future projects here!

Customer service is everything to me. The guys at DSD automotive are at the top of their game in professionalism and Knowledge. Hands down one of the best places in the Dallas Fort Worth area to take your vehicle for repairs.

Dave did less than a stellar job on repairing my classic 300zx. When I brought the issues to his attention he turned a deaf ear. I brought my 94 E500 in for a few things that needed to be addressed. I had a great time at DuSold. Fantastic attention to detail and clever solutions to problems. I found the team to be honest and friendly. If you re lucky, you ll get a tour and hear about their current projects. Couldn't feel better about recommending DSD!

Dave Dusold did work on my ebb Classic 300zx. He refused to address the issues. I brought him to small claims court, the evidence was presented to the judge, who whole heartedly concured with my claim and awarded judgemwnt in my favor.
