I try to stay here as much as possible because I often come to Levelland and I am an IHG member. Online this place seems to be the best in town. However, the more nights I stay the worst it gets. All staff are friendly and check-in and out is easy but the rooms and breakfast seem to be getting worse and worse. The past two times I stayed the air-conditioning in the rooms didn t work the last time I stayed the television didn t work, and there was barely any water pressure in the shower. I Didn t even bother telling staff because it was so late and I was exhausted. I just wanted to try to get some rest but the room was way too hot for me to even relax.The pancake and juice machine were broken and it seemed that they did the bare minimum for breakfast. The first few times I stayed at this hotel things were great but as I ve stated it s seems to just be going downhill lately. If you re planning on staying in Levelland, maybe just stay at a hotel in Lubbock or at any other hotel in Levelland.Rooms: Bedrooms seem clean but some of the air conditioners and showers work poorly

We made a reservation a month in advance, I called the day before our check in to make sure our room was going to be ready by the time we get there, they made us wait 1hour due to not having our room ready and it caused us to miss our event which was non refundable. Online says they have a pool/ hot tub which we were told aren't working after we got there, TV didn't work in the room and had exposed plumbing in the bathroom which is a safety issue. Room 217 I asked for full refund I was told by front desk to call corporate that her job isn't to help me or refund me. So I called corporate and let them know all of the issues!!

Almost didn't stay with them cause last few visits ,rooms weren't clean and smelled.We were pleasantly surprised that room was clean ,smelled good ,and pool was open after being closed for years. Staff was all great.Keep up the good progress.We'll be backThank you

I gave this place a 2 star rating because of all the problems. My intention was to relax for the weekend. Unfortunately, that never happened.The first night, I kept hearing loud music as if there was a party in the hallway. As it turns out, it was the outside speakers or underneath my window. Didn t get much sleep that night.Next day I wanted to use the pool or hot tub. That didn t happen either because neither was working.In the morning before I checked out, I noticed I have company in the room. Not the kind of company you want. I killed a couple of bugs running on the floor. (see picture)Whoever the maintenance person is, needs to do better work in the restroom. Anything from holes in the wall(s) to unpainted areas on the wall.The stars are only because the staff are wonderful and friendly people. The continental breakfast was great.

not worth even one starThe staff are friendly.However, the AC system in the room doesn't seem to have been cleaned once since it was installed. The moment we entered the room after check-in and saw the AC, we couldn't stand it, so we requested a room change, and the AC in the second room was also so terribly dirty that we eventually gave up staying at the hotel and drove 6 hours all night to come home.It was so cold that I couldn't sleep without heating, but I couldn't stay in the room with the AC too much dirty. The front desk employee also looked at the AC condition and said she thought it was too bad.We requested a refund from the hotel for this problem, but the hotel refused to refund until the end. I also told the IHG head office customer care about this situation and asked for a refund, but they said there was nothing they could do due to hotel policy other than compensating for some points. IHG say that IHG Hotels' Clean Promise applies to all hotels, but in fact it seems to only apply to expensive hotels. Any damage caused by the hotel violating the hotel policy, Clean Promise, become entirely the responsibility of the customer. The hotel didn't lose anything and my $66 and 6000 points were gone.Do not trust IHG "Clean Promise" policy.Even if the hotel violates their policy first and does something wrong to the customer, they say that the customer is forced to follow the hotel policy unconditionally. That is Holyday Inn's policy and also IHG's Clean Promise.

The young lady who checked us in (7/25/22, evening), was wonderful. Very sweet and helpful. The lobby and breakfast area are nice ... however the outside of the hotel is unkempt with tall grass and trash around. The room appeared clean enough, but there were details missed, such as used coffee pod left in the coffee maker and the white shower curtain looked like someone with very dirty hands had grabbed it in several areas. The back door cannot be accessed with the keycard from outside, so someone has to open it from the inside if you park back there. Once opened, we could not get the door to close again.Also, somthing to be aware of, if traveling with pets ... overheard customers trying to check in, who had booked their room on the hotels direct website and specified they had a small dog with them. They were told when they arrived, that actually only service animals are allowed at this location, even though the website states otherwise. It would be a $250 deposit for any other animal.

My negative review is mainly due to the renovations. The bed itself was clean and relatively comfortable, the room was large and comfortable, and the desk chair rocked which was nice for me to be able to rock my son to sleep. The manager and staff were all very friendly and understanding. The hotel will be very nice once renovations are complete but as is, is not worth what I paid for it.I was pretty surprised at how dirty the hotel was for the price. They are doing renovations which is the main reason for the cleanliness issues. There are paint chips, concrete, and dust from renovations as well as a slight paint smell which is not good for anyone with asthma. There were also several nails/ screws in the hallway. Inside my room, the carpet is horribly dirty with stains and splattered paint. They are redoing the carpet but, as is, is in horrible shape. The pool is closed which they definitely should have mentioned when I made the reservation.Overall, the hotel will be nice when renovations are complete but it is not child friendly as is. I would recommend it after the renovations are finished.

Really enjoyed our stay here!! The staff welcomed us as we walked in, fast check in and check out. Breakfast was awesome. Room was very clean, thank you housekeeping you did an AWESOME JOB!!. Hotel was very clean in general. Will go back if need to. Price was very reasonable also.

The rooms here are spacious and nice. The complimentary breakfast is wonderful. What makes this place shine, though, is the staff. They are so nice. We stayed for 5 nights and each person was friendly and willing to go the extra step to make our stay wonderful.

Would NEVER recommend this hotel. My parents stayed there the weekend of my wedding and my mom got her 2 Diamond wedding rings, Diamond necklace, and Diamond bracelet stolen from her room!! There was only two people working that day and they tried to put it off on the next guest staying in that room the next day. How ironic is it that there s no cameras on the second floor where their room was located. No one likes a thief

Checked in and went to my room. No handsoap, tissues, toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Toilet paper was a half used roll thrown on the counter. Went to desk and ask for hand soap. I was told no soap use the shower gel attached to the wall in the shower. I'll post a picture of the filth around the containers in the shower. I've stayed in 3 other Holiday Inn Express hotels this trip with no problems. Avoid this location.

We drove 6 hours from San Antonio to pick up new puppies. We explained to the hotel the shelter had us take them right then and there and that we couldn't pick them up in the morning and that the shelter gave us a kennel. They were super understanding, and made an exception to allow them to stay with us. Staff was super friendly.

Amy and her staff were an absolute blessing to my family and I while staying there. My father passed earlier this month and so our family stayed here after the service. She and her staff were all so compassionate and accommodating I would definitely stay again because it felt like they were just extended family. Thank you again so much ladies!!

Will never stay at another Holiday Inn Express.. This hotel was the dirtiest/most unprofessional hotel we have ever checked into. 1st everything outside is dead. 2nd not a single friendly face working there (was not even greeted when we check in). 3rd swimming pool has be closed for a year and a half (dirt/dust all over the floor- couldn't even keep tge swimming pool area cleaned). 4th no hot breakfast. 5th workout room closed. 6th walk into room and there was food on the floor (just checked inn). We stayed all of 15 minutes than left, drove to Lubbock and had to pay premium price for 2 nights as every hotel was sold out. This hotel is a scam. I can't believe that Holiday Inn Express allows there name on it. Requested a refund and management declined the refund. Do yourself a favor and DONT BOOK. Unbelievable.

Location is right off major highway so very easy to find. Building itself is a little dated, with old shower heads being the one thing I wish was better. Water pressure was low. Service is great and everyone is friendly. Clean and comfy beds.

Employees were very friendly but terrible experience. A dog barked all night and started howling around 4am in next room. Management talked to them around 7 am. The pancake machine was down so microwave eggs and microwave sausage along with barely warm biscuits and gravy. Only apples available. Tried to call from room phone to complain about the barking and the phone did not work.

I live in Levelland. I reserved a king suite with the jacuzzi tub. When I arrived the manager had changed my room without calling me to a regular room. Supposedly the tub was cracked. Will never stay here again. I could have gone to Lubbock and stay in a room with a jacuzzi tub. But the next morning they gave me the room I wanted for free. So I got 2 nights for the price of 1 for my anniversary. Mark really showed he cares for his customers.

Clean quiet hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but they did have a good variety, and they had cinnabons!!! That was a major plus haha. Hotel was undergoing renovations (pool out of service, no door number placards - using paper instead, areas being painted, missing panels in elevator etc) overall a decent stay for the money. Only major downfall is the town, there is literally nothing there except a Walmart and a few fast food restaurants, but that's not the hotel's fault. This hotel is a good option if other hotels in Lubbock are too pricey due to football as it's only about 40 minutes away from downtown.

Rooms were clean, the hotel was quiet, and the location was convenient. However, I was promised Texas shaped waffles by someone who had stayed here previously and none were found. The breakfast was still good, though.

The hotel is under renovation and what has been done so far looks nice. I am upset because I decided to pay about $50 more for this hotel because website showed indoor pool and even gave hours of operation under amenities. Have two kids and the only thing they like about traveling is the pools at the hotels. Get here and find out pool is under renovation, lady at desk apologized and said she was told it is on website; nowhere on website did I see closed or under renovation which should show under the amenities. I would have gone to different place with pool specially for price I paid.

This was a very nice place to stay over night. Everything was clean and they had the big bottles of shampoo/conditioner and even body wash....which was definitely a switch from those trial sizes. Enjoyed my stay

I was told the pool would be open & it was not. Was really looking forward to it for the kids. Also no hot meal breakfast due to under staff. Understandable but at least let that be known before hand or put on website about pool being closed and no continental breakfast.

DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS HERE! There is a reason that this hotel is rated at 2 1/2 Stars. Horrible customer service! I made reservations apparently through their reservation line and showed up at my date of arrival only to find that my reservation was made for the night before. I spoke with the General Manager Jessie who said that it was not there fault it was the reservation line and that they were fully book and there was nothing they could do about it. I was told that I could try at the Best Western down the street they heard they have 2 rooms available. I go to the Best Western and Maggie at the front desk said they were booked but offered to try to find me a room at a nearby town (25 miles away) hotel. She made the calls and got me a room. The room was exactly what we wanted, same quality if not better than Holiday Inn Express for a Cheaper price! To top it off Jessie at Holiday Inn Express said that according to the research I made my reservation online (which I did not. I talked to a real person) So they are not going to reimburse me for the no show room for the night before. Why on earth would I make a reservation for a night I am not going to be there. Very bad management. DO NOT STAY HERE because if your reservation is messed up YOU will pay for it! Go to the Best Western much better service, much better price, better hotel!

The stay here was ok. The room was comfortable but the service was slow and they did not come up to our room at all. Even when we told them there was a clogged toilet. I d stay here again if the service improved.

Rooms are very nice. The cleaning crew sucks though. Floor not vacuumed, hair on counter and in bottom of fridge. A drink left in fridge and cheese crumbs in microwave.
