I have a 2014 F-150 V8 4x4 with a horrible alignment problem. Well; not anymore! They came recommended by a trusted source so I went to Rush instead of an alternative shop. I'm so glad I did! They gave me a print out of my alignment details (Camber, Caster, and Toe) before and after. I really appreciated seeing this detailed information, the before and after printout, so with that type of going the extra mile and finally fixing my alignment issue, they won my business. We are going to take our other cars to rush very soon. Highly recommend this place for alignments! A+ job

I was actually pleasantly surprised about Rush. My son referred me here and when I called, the guy on the phone was friendly and nice. When I showed up, I didn t expect a huge building with many bays. This place was nice and clean, the service was great, and I walked away knowing I ll be back.

I can never say enough good things about Rush Automotive. They are the only place I trust my car with. The offer free diagnostics, even if you choose not to have them work on your car. They don't talk down to you like an idiot, as a woman getting her car checked. They have feminine products in their bathroom. They have nice comfortable chairs to wait in, or a courtesy vehicle to take you home while they work on the car. Love love love this place.

Took our F-150 in for an alignment, it was pulling some beforehand. They did the alignment but the truck continued to pull so they recommended replacing $3k worth of front end parts, some of which we had replaced the week prior which was another reason we scheduled the alignment. After hearing that we called our mobile mechanic back out, who said he thought it was just a poor job and referred us to another shop who did another alignment that corrected the steering issue. The office was nice and clean, and the staff up front were great, they even gave us a promo rate for no reason at all which was super nice. However, it was still just money down the drain. Very disappointed, I was really hoping that I had found my new shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Wow. Just had Goodyear show me the price comparison that they would have charged if I hadn't gone to Rush. I was grossly overcharged for parts. These guys are super nice, but I feel really duped and dumb.

After 2 visits to other shops, including one to the dealer, Rush found my elusive timing/transmission issue. Dirty and thin transmission fluid!! Runs great now !! Thanks Michael and team!!

After rebuilding the suspension/steering on my classic GMC I needed the alignment dialed in. After calling several places and quickly losing confidence, I tried Rush and from the moment I called I could tell Alex knew what he was doing and would have a good idea of what I needed done.The work was done the same day (although I had to pick it up in the AM next day) and with no surprises. They have a great waiting room and the facility looks clean and organized.Pricing was well below what I expected to pay and the job was done perfectly. They'll definitely get my business for my other classics in the future!Service: Steering & suspension repair

Growing up in the area, I've been to every auto shop around. Rush has the best communication compared to any other shop and the oil changes are the cheapest you ll find in the Cedar Park/Leander area. Most importantly, the customer service is top-notch. I actually enjoy bringing my trucks in and talking to the crew.

I ve somewhat lost faith in Rush s ability to correctly diagnose an issue. Originally, I went in because my car was losing oil quickly. I was told that I needed a cap replaced, which didn t fix the issue. So, I went back and was told I needed the engine gasket cover replaced as evidenced by dark soot all over my engine. All of this was over $1,200 in repairs that still didn t fix the problem. I ve still been losing oil but have just been topping it off. Recently, my car started to make rattling sounds. I took it back to Rush and they said I was almost out of oil which would cause the rattling sound due to the engine not getting enough lubrication to all its parts. They said that losing oil that fast was likely cause by high mileage and pistons getting stuck. They recommended an oil change and an additive to hopefully help with the pistons. They said any further rattling would likely be cause by two worn tires. So, I paid for the oil change, the additive, and went to Discount Tire and paid for two new tires. None of these things fixed the rattling.Everyone at Rush has been nice and polite, but their response to my concerns has been Come back in and we ll get you taken care of. Which to me has meant that I ll pay for more repairs that likely won t even fix the problem. I don t want to continue spending time or pouring money into fixes that are misdiagnosed. At this point I ve paid close to $2,000 and the original problem (losing oil) still hasn t been fixed and now my car rattles, too.I ll be on the hunt for a new mechanic who will get it right from the start.

I ve been having catalytic converter issues with my truck. Which y all know ain t cheap. Rush Automotive has been very helpful! My check engine light was on and they diagnosed my truck for free! Even after I replaced the catalytic converters myself. They went over making sure all my nuts and bolts were tight again for no charge. And doing an engine diagnosis again to make sure it was running correctly for free! When the dealership charged me 300$ for engine diagnosis in the past. Never again will I go back to the dealership. Rush automotive has gained my trust and I will return if ever my vehicles need maintenance. Thank you to the whole team at Rush!

Run -- no, "rush" -- away from this place as fast as possible. Please note, write my reviews based on my customer experience and the service/product received being fair/adequate/reasonable. I do not write reviews for mechanics based on a nice waiting area. My experience reflects a business that wants you to spend a lot for their nice, new waiting area. It is the kind of place you recommend to someone you don't like.We took our car to the Leander location. We are new to the area and looking for a mechanic shop as our "go-to" for regular repairs. We have passed Rush several times and brought one of our cars in to have it serviced. The gentleman on the phone was very polite and said they could complete the repairs needed. The next day, they gave a list of repairs with redundant/unnecessary items listed (why would a customer pay for something to be flushed if the whole system was being replaced). We left with over three pages of an invoice on repair. They charged over $300 for a specific test that two other shops said any mechanic would know what to fix with the description (test should not have been needed in the first place). Rush gave the diagnosis and the other mechanics could name the repair just from the description (I will post a review of the shop we went with and a secondary one that can be used based on your location). There were two big ticket repairs listed by Rush (one over $1000) that THEY LIED ABOUT. Other shops have confirmed, there are no issues with the parts, they are not about to break, and no repairs need to or should be done on them at this time. I could never recommend this place to family or a friend.

Nice facilities and friendly service, but PRICE for a synthetic oil change was the biggest reason that made me drive out of my way to go to Rush Automotive. Unfortunately after just paying $83 out the door for a full synthetic oil change (6.6 quarts) on 9/15/22, I am seeing other places a lot closer to me offer the same pricing. That's quite disappointing as I used to pay around $60 for full synthetic for my vehicle a few years back, but alas it seems like inflation/the labor shortage has affected even Rush Automotive. I'll be shopping around before coming here again versus just blindly always taking my vehicle here in the past since I knew they were the best priced around for a full synthetic oil.

I called 3 places to do an alignment on my C5 and these guys were not only at a great price but the staff was very knowledgeable and nice. We immediately had my girlfriends Mercedes aligned.Great shop. Great prices.

We enjoyed coming here for the 1st time to get a wheel alignment and to have a 2nd vehicle checked out. Ashley at the front desk was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. We 're glad to have found a new place to get our vehicles serviced at. They were honest, gave us a fair estimate & let us know all the details. We 'll recommend them to our friends & family. We were referred by Jacob from Discount Tire in Cedar Park TX.***

Really happy with Rush Auto. Joe, the owner is honest and friendly, the employees are respectful and take care of your vehicle. I've now had a couple oil changes, a slave cylinder and wheel lugs all repaired at different times in the past couple months. Each visit reminds me of how good a service shop this is. Highly recommend!.

Alex and his team found a easy solution to a major electrical issue that we spent lots of time and money trying to fix. Rush Auto was honest and the fix was so simple they didn t even charge me! My family and I have been a customer at Rush for over 10 years. There s no one else in the Austin/Round Rock/Leander areas that we trust more than Joe (owner) and his amazing employees at all of his shops. Great prices, clean facilities, and the waiting rooms are so nice and comfortable. They are the prime examples of a professional, trustworthy staff. Please don t hesitate to give them a chance. You will not regret it!

best automotive shop in Austin areathey use nothing but castrol full synthetic oil and don't even advertise it.they have the nicest waiting area I've ever seen.great area for kids to play, very secure

Customer service that goes above and beyond what I normally see at most auto repair shops. Would recommend to my family and friends. On par with the quality and care a lifelong friend would give you.On top of that, the most affordable prices I've ever had to deal with. These people just want to take care of you and your car. It's as if they have "treat others how you would want to be treated" as part of their company handbook, and WANT to follow it.This is now the only shop I trust, and I know the owner and some staff by name now. 100/10

We took our vehicle here to have multiple different things worked on. The 1st time around they competed a series of repairs that did not hold. Even the small coolant leak we paid extra to have fixed still popped up shortly after we took the car home. We ended up bringing the vehicle back only to be told the entire engine was no good. Quoted 23k to replace engine after spending 2k previously on initial repairs. They were upfront about the repairs potentially not being enough so it was expected to maybe have to bring the vehicle back. However the severity of the issue presented after bringing the vehicle back and how it was missed was the problem for us. Basically totaled the car out for the price of the repairs. The car was still able to drive around so it didn't make sense to us. We even went to a dealership to potentially just get rid of the car due to the seriousness of the issue we were told was wrong. Jumped through many hoops partnered with a crisis type anxieties. We ended up taking the vehicle to a specialty shop in San Antonio TX for specific makes of that vehicle. They were very surprised about what we were told was wrong. They were able to fix the vehicle for less than 1k. I waited to post this review to make sure the issues on the vehicle were fixed by the other shop. It's been 3.5months now and the car has been on multiple road trips and already another oil change same engine running 100%. It's a shame because the staff and process here seem genuine but something like this can't be all negligible. If we wouldn't of gotten a second opinion it would of proposed a huge Un necessary financial burden on our family. Would recommend to the folks at Rush to make sure things are 100% diagnosed properly before proposing un needed solutions that can cause such stress on everyday people.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. My wife and I are just about to take a 2200 mile round trip, so we wanted to make sure her SUV was tip top before we left. Joe Rush went above and beyond to take care of my wife s car, and got it done FAST. We got the oil changed, tires rotated, and they performed a 99 point inspection. Thanks to Joe and his crew, we re ready to hit the road.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Wheel alignment, Oil change

They did amazing! Really great prices. They walked me through everything and did it all super fast. They have a great waiting area with a TV and The Flash was on which is just a bonus. EXTREMELY satisfied with Rush Automotive I had to get a oil change the day of and Rush Automotive was the only place in the area to give me an oil change same hour. During the multipoint inspection which is complimentary. They noticed that the front rotors needed to either be replaced or resurfaced . Once Joe realized that the brakes were replaced only 10k miles ago and warranty still exists. He, personally, gets the warranty from the old store and get my brakes replaced under NO cost or effort from my end. I was even able to pick up the car after hours with a lockbox. Stopped by for an alignment (lowered car). Ashley and Alex were professional and friendly. I m super picky with who I let work on my car and they did an outstanding job! True quality shop! Highly recommend and will be back in the future! Thanks, Rush! :)
