After going there for a long time and having a few hiccups of bad service or things not being done correctly I have had enough. Somehow my car got a long scratch along the hood going to the underside that they said they didn t even see but could never have done because apparently nothing touches the car. They use magic to open the hoods of the cars and to change all the parts. They said they document any scratches they see before work and didn t document it but it is there and I called them instantly. It isn t missable. It s a white scratch on a black car about 8/9 inches long.Update to add: the company respond on here to make it look like they care. Truth is they still do not take responsibility and just further wasted my time. I sent them photos to only get a short email back without any phone call. The questions they ask were very basic and didn t go much into detail.

Customer care was very good, all experices with various employees was professional, patient with my questions and knowledgeable. Store was clean. I waited there for my service which was done in a reasonable time frame.

My husband brought our car in to have one of its tires changed today, and our appointment was supposed to be at 9 AM. They didn't start working on the car until almost 10 AM because they still had not even finished their work from the day before. What makes it particularly frustrating is that we didn't simply book an appointment. We had to REQUEST it, then wait for someone to APPROVE it. You would think the reason for this is so Firestone can make sure they can accommodate the requested time, but no. If they were already backed up from the day before, I don't understand why an early morning appointment time was accepted to begin with.People schedule appointments instead of walking in for a reason, and that should be prioritized. You don't know what else someone has to get to and we don't all have multiple vehicles. My husband has now been there for 4 hours because, on top of the fact that they approved a time they didn't actually have available, they only had one of the type of tire we needed and it ended up being defective. So, now they're waiting for it to come from another store.The only reason I am giving them the second star is that we at least got a mechanic who was paying attention and noticed the tire was damaged before putting it on, which I do appreciate. I realize that not properly inspecting the tire before confirming they had one available would have been a delay regardless, but had Firestone respected the time that they approved themselves, it would've been the only one.

The service I required was completed on time and to my satisfaction. Prices have increased a great deal but that's not necessarily their fault. It's a shame they always seem under staffed and overworked, especially on a Sunday. They should commit to fully staff or consider closing on Sundays.

I wish there was a -10 star to give them.I had trouble with my car and was at autozone, they couldn t diagnose it properly as they were not fully equipped. So they recommended me to go to Firestone which was closer as they will have all the necessary equipment. Firstly, I hate Firestone and do not like to go there as I had to total my previous car due to their negligence so never went there in like 6-7 years and this time I had to go thinking that they might do better. Autozone already said issue could be with either the battery or transmitor, now these folks at Firestone have checked my car and everything and came back and said your car is in perfect condition etc etc when in I had already told tell very clearly that for the past 2 weeks every time I had to jumpstart to start the car and they charged me freaking 50 bucks for that, I am all okay if it was correct diagnosis and if that was true. I couldn t argue or anything because they did a through check.I come back home and still the same issue, few days down the lane I took it to a mechanic and they confirmed it s the battery problem, they changed the battery and for the past 1 week I had no issues at all with the car.Firestone is freaking useless, I have no idea what the hell they diagnosed and found and charged me for their faulty diagnostics. Just a very useless store!!!Never ever will go back to Firestone

This FIRESTONE is top notch !! THEY KNOW THINGS OTHERS COULDNT FIND! They fixed the family car and saved us +$2,000! We took our '04 Lincoln to 2 different mechanics including the dealership and they all immediately wanted to switch the struts and charge extra for these suspension airbags but FIRESTONE took the time to analyze the car itself and found it was just a couple minor switches! So happy you guys are super thorough ans we have you here in #cedarpark as our #cedarparkmechanics . Thanks for being awesome

Made an appointment online for manufacturers maintenance. Based on that option alone, I assumed they would know the actions needed based on year and mileage - instead they were asking me what I needed done. I haven t a clue, I thought that s what they were alleged experts in? Why was there an option to choose maintenance with no other details then? Told me they could look the car over for 9.99 and tell me what it needed. Nope - I am furious. I drove an hour from Horseshoe Bay due to limitations of finding someone to service the vehicle there - what a waste of my Saturday. I ll never take my car to another Firestone.

Came in early on Sunday morning with only 3 cars in the parking lot to get TPMS sensors swapped. They said it would be about an hour maybe 1.5 hrs. Plenty of other places in same parking lot so I walked a couple miles came back 1.5 hrs later and the car had just been pulled in. They then proceeded to tell me it was a more complicated task so they wanted to be thurough. 2.5 more hours later they pulled the car out after me saying I had to GO. My god it s TPMS sensors. That is around 1 hr per wheel to put on watch batteries. How is this a thing? I used to work at discount tire in high school and we had a clock on us the whole time. At this rate discount tire can close on sundays and still get the same amount or more work done. Then it went on a joy ride to let them relearn. This is after I told them no I didn t want to pay an additional 20 bucks to let it relearn the press. Now I see they carved a chunk out of a 700 dollar wheel. Luckily I ve learned to take pics with time stamps of each wheel before and after service.

The courtesy and professionalism of their staff, the cleanliness of the business, full accounting of procedures performed, no pressure or scare tactics and reasonably priced considering the type of business (all mechanical shops are overpriced, as are all other professions).

The only reason I m giving 3 stars is because a couple of guys were helpful, but they don t deserve 3. Some of them were very rude. One threw a thermometer while checking our car. This was the 4th time we brought it in because it kept overheating. They told us the day before it was the radiator going bad. So, we brought it in the next day at 7 a.m. for a new one, then after 5 hours they told us it might not be the problem could be a gasket or something. The car keeps overheating and broke down on me going up a hill. Very scary. I will never bring my car back to any Firestone. On top of rude employees my car still isn t fixed and we will now have to spend even more money for another mechanic to fix it.

Called the day prior to see if I can set up an appointment for state inspection on my diesel truck. That means it's just a safety inspection that will be 5 min long. Guy told me it's first come first serve and to be here at 0900 when they open today. There's not one vehicle there for an inspection and the lady days it'll be 4 to 5 hours before they can get to it. Two employees out there smoking cigarettes and they've only been open 5 minutes...their cigarette took longer than my inspection would. Needless to say this place is garbage and their ability to time manage and take care of customers is even worse. Front desk lady is a few straws short from a whole bale. Go elsewhere.

Minimal Consideration of Customers' Time.I brought in my vehicle for a multi-point inspection and was estimated 2-3 hours for the work to be completed. I was assured that the work would be done by then. So I walk around for 3 hours and called in for an update. One of the front desk guys on the phone tells me that my car is being worked on. I ask if it should be done within the next half hour and he confirmed that it should be done by then. I walk back only to find that my car hasn't moved from my original parking spot. So I ask the front desk for status and I'm informed that the tech is backed up with an AC job and they haven't started on my car yet.I don't have an issue with techs being backed up nor work on my car taking time, but what infuriates me is 1.) No communication in regards to the status of my vehicle 2.) Being misinformed on the status of my vehicle and 3.) Having my time (possible work time) completely wasted with absolutely nothing being done for my car.I asked for my key and left. For us small business owners, time is money. I don't appreciate the inconsideration of my time and did not feel well served as a customer of Firestone. What could have circumvented this? One quick call advising me that the tech is behind schedule, the wait will be longer, and whether I wanted to continue to wait or just reschedule.I won't be bringing any of my vehicles to Firestone anymore.

HEADS UP!! PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION BEFORE THIS FIRESTONE SAYS YOU NEED ANY WORK DONE!! Dishonest workers!The only nice thing i have to say about this location is they were kind enough to get me in the same day i called to make an appointment . I went to this Firestone in need of new tires and an alignment which we were aware of. They also told me my ball joints are in terrible condition and need to all be replaced. We were heading out of town so scheduled an appointment for have them replaced when we returned.When we got to our destination my brother-in-law said that he would just go ahead and replace our ball joints since he owns his own auto repair shop. When he inspected our car before replacing the ball joints he was shocked and angry to discover there was absolutely NOTHING WRONG with our ball joints. This location of Firestone tried to charge us just under 1k for new joint that DID NOT need to be replaced!!Service: Tires

Was professional in terms of handling my request. When I went before 15 mins of closing, they were helpful to check my car atleast for the problem and asked me to come in next day morning. It was fixed within 30-40 mins of my visit next day and done well.

Would have been 5 starts if it didn't take 1.5 hours to change ONE tire. 15 minutes of work dragged out to 90 minutes. Technicians and service people were very nice and got me in quickly.

These guys are so Amazing! I called around 1pm on a Sunday, they set aside the tires I needed and waited for me to get a tow to their shop after I had a blowout. The old truck wouldn t start, so Elias used his personal vehicle and some jumper cables to jump it off with the help of Jayson. These two guys stood out in the 100 degree sun to get it running. Then when the truck was in the bay the whole team jumped in to get it done. They all stayed way past normal hours to help me out. So I would recommend this shop to everyone who is looking for tires or repairs. Thank you guys so much!Service: Tires

I ve been to this location multiple times throughout the last couple of years and found the service and folks working in this establishment to be extremely helpful and hard-working. The Interior of both the store and the garage/bay area are clean and well organized which you don t see every day in the automotive industry.Upon my recent visit, I noticed that the store continues to improve and deliver quality, customer/consumer focused services in a professional manner, and this shows through their loyal customer base. Aaron was exceptional with his customer service. He went out of his way to make sure I knew all my options, looked out for my best interest and was very patient and understanding. His recommendation saved me alot of money and really helped us out. I would highly recommend him and Firestone to anyone looking for a reliable and cost friendly auto fix. Got a state inspection that they passed with a headlight bulb that I told them to check out and then still asked if I wanted it changed after I inquired and then only did one and charged me $60+ which seems like a lot for one headlight.

I needed a single tire replaced. First they said they didn t have the tire in stock and had to get it from another store in Austin. So I booked an appointment for later in the week. When I arrived they didn t have the tire as they forgot to order it. They said it would arrive in an hour so I waited but after an hour and a half it didn t arrive so I booked another appointment for the next day at 10am. The next day at 10am the tire was in the store but I had to wait two hours for it to be installed. What is the point of booking an appointment if I still have to wait two hours for a single tire??

Called for a quote for some tires. Got very friendly service and they were able to get me the tires the same day. I couldn't go in because of work so my wife drove in the car and they told her they lost all their lugnut keys hand had to charge her $140 to break off the lug nut with a lock on it. I called her the second they told her to deny it because I can do that myself in literally less than 15 seconds, and after she asked them to leave it as is, they said they already took it off and I was expecting them to charge $135 in labor for it like they quoted, to replace a $5 lugnut set. However, after some difficulties regarding the pricing, she ended up paying ~ 40% of the original quoted price ($60), which i think is still expensive but reasonable. They also mest up the instructions I gave them and ended up sending us home with an extra old tire. (I asked them to switch the old tire and the spare, before replacing the tires, and they got it mixed up and ended up giving me the spare tire back unattached to a wheel). We also paid for an alignment, and they wouldnt print the sheet while we were there, and the shop said they would email or text it over to my phone, but never did, which leads me to believe they lied about performing that work.Service: Tires

Update: I took car to a different location because they did not have a senior technician to address the bad repair. Turns out, they installed a water pump that was not the right part for the car. The technician knowing this, modified it, in order to try and make it fit, which turned out not to be a good install. How are they allowed to get away with stealing from customers? Now I have to wait for the correct part and hoping they can finally have this resolved soon. They know, and now we know they did an improper installation. They haven t even reached out to acknowledge or apologize. I m looking forward to having a different Firestone correct what they did wrong. I will never trust Leander Firestone location.Took car in for an oil change and asked them to please check everything out since the car was just purchased for teenager. Of course with their recommendations and suggestions we had them replace the hoses due to age of car. We had them flush the radiator and add new fluids. The Following day we notice a good size oil stain under the car. We take the car back in the following day, because they were to busy to see us. They check the repairs they had just done, and Of course to our surprise, they said leak has nothing to do with the repairs they just did and it s due to the high pressure from when they changed out hoses. So now the water pump is leaking. At this point I don t believe anything they are saying because this car had no leaks whatsoever. Well, we fork out more money and have them replace the water pump. Then they tell us, the front shocks are completely worn out and they can t believe how the mechanic missed that!!!! Really???? Following day, a bigger oil stain. Come to find, the brand new water pump they just installed the day prior has a very noticeable leak, large stain on concrete!!! How I wish I could upload videos and photos of the terrible installation of the new water pump, that was more than likely not needed. let s see what BS they give us tomorrow!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Kinda, professional, personable; a really great neighborhood auto shop! Alex was really kindhearted & great, helping everyone that walked thru the door leave w/ a positive & affordable auto experience. Came for a car inspection, they took care of a bulb that needed replacing & topped off my windshield wiper fluid. Would recommend.
