Great place! Honest, and really good pricing compared to everyone elseHad an engine replacement/shock struts/ac compressor and rear brakes done on my E250 work van and one month later it still runs like a champ! The cost for all this was lower than what other shops were charging just for the engine replacement! Dan was helpful all the way through the process and I highly recommend this company for all your mechanical needs

I have to give Dan huge kudos. I brought my car in for what I thought was going to be a huge engine problem. He diagnosed the problem and was completely honest with me about the problem. Turned out it was relatively minor. He did not charge a diagnostic fee as some others do. I did not have the repair done because the car had a couple of other issues that were major repairs that I was already aware were coming. I decided not to pour good money after bad because of the vehicle's mileage. I traded it in on a new vehicle. If I do need service in the future I will definitely use D & K.

I am so blown away by the customer service that I was given, the amazing work, and overall 5 star experience! It s so hard to find a trusted mechanic and I m so glad we finally have! Thanks Dan and team. Was in a pinch visiting the Austin area for a few days. He was able to look at my van the next morning fix some of the connections on my old Sienna and get it back to me the next day. Very professional.

Fast, professional and affordable.There s a reason why the team at D&K is so highly rated. I took my truck in for a leak that I couldn t locate the source of. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and had me driving again in under 24 hours.I couldn t be happier with the service they provided.I found my new mechanic.

I took my 2014 Odyssey to D&K Automotive for a timing belt and water pump change, as well as for rotors and brakes service. I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service and outstanding workmanship. This wasn't my first time with them; I had also taken them my Sequoia for a valve gasket replacement, and as always, they did a phenomenal job. D&K Automotive has consistently shown that they're top-notch professionals in their field. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking reliable and high-quality automotive care!

If I could give zero stars, I would. We were told they would have our work vehicle until mid afternoon the day after we dropped off. We never received a call. At 5pm my husband called to ask if it was ready and they had NOT even started it. So the next day they were done around lunch. At pick up the part was $106 (completely understandable) and the labor was $360!!!! An absolutely ridiculous amount. This was for for a bearing replacement. We signed nothing acknowledging the cost of labor and I tried to dispute it with owner/manager but it fell on deaf ears. Today we realized they did not tighten the axle nut (very loud noise) and it damaged our rotor. I recommend you take your vehicles elsewhere.

Where do I begin! Embarrassing enough, Dan has been there for us through every vehicle we have had, and he does a damn good job. My husband and I always keep his shop #2 on our "Favorites" list. When you find your best mechanic who loves what he does, keep him. You won't find anyone better. Anytime I have a question, he's able to answer and/or guide me to have the problem fixed because it's either a recall or covered under warranty. Our family refuses to go anywhere else or, much less, trust any other mechanics to look at our vehicles. Thank you, guys for being the best!

I had a great experience with D & K Auto Repair. I was having issues with my transmission, and it needed to be replaced. Dan is very pleasant, knowledgeable, and kept me updated on the progress. I use my truck for work and Dan said he could have my truck back to me by the weekend, and he followed through with that commitment. What could have been a difficult process was very easy. I appreciate D & K for such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.Service: Transmission repair

Very thankful for the D & K crew! They were able to get me in for an estimate and same day repairs when another mechanic shop wouldn't even provide an estimate. Replaced 4 motor mounts and fixed a nasty oil leak, replaced belts, etc. All in all, repairs were priced fairly and the car is running so much smoother. Great communication from Dan. Will definitely be using in the future.

They worked on my 2006 Ford Explorer it needed lots work. Turn up and oil change its run great now. Highly Recommended.

Have been coming to d and k for years now, since they opened. My husband and I have brought a random selection of cars over all that time. Never turned one down. Have sent lots of family and friends to him. Never a disappointment. He will always call and let us know what is going on before he fixes it. We love Dan! Thanks for all the good times!!

I met with the owner. He listened to my issues. He thought he wouldn't get to it that day, but he did. Car was repaired by next afternoon. Price was very reasonable. Very knowledgeable. Very friendly. I Will refer and use them again.

This shop is not close to us distance wise. They are very busy, and note-it's worth the wait! Honest and dependable. We so appreciate their help fixing our older car. We are Seniors with limited funds, and Dan helped us out. Happy to be on the road again. Can't say Thank you enough!

I only go to D K Automotive for my repairs and have been for the last few years. They do a great job and pretty fast too. That s important for me because it s usually my work truck he s working on.

was looking for a repair shop close to my home, but don't like the corporate chain shops with their pretty buildings and people that are just trying to get your money. so i think i got real lucky when i found D&K. honest, friendly, and fair. took care of an electrical problem on my grandson's car. when it comes to electrical problems shops can tell you and charge you what they want, but Dan explained what he did and charged a very fair price.Service: Electrical repair

Today I walked into DK Automotive after researching local auto repair places in Leander. The reviews I found earlier were impressive. I spoke with Dan he was very receptive. I received a few quotes on some automotive repair needs of my own, they were very fair. I look forward to having a few things done and I'll be back with later reviews. So far very good. For the record I've had a trusted mechanic locally but he retired, thus my venture here for another good shop. Let's keep it local Leander! Final Summary after few weeks of this post: I did have a repair done on one of my cars, I am VERY pleased with the work performed and the price! I just wanted to share! Thanks D&K Automive!

I am constantly impressed by D&K. They always treat me fairly, are responsive, and do good work--and then stand behind the work. I don't know much about cars, but I have a friend who is a high-end mechanic in another town and I always run the quotes and work done by him. I seldom write reviews, but Dan and Dustin were exceptional. They squeezed me in for some exhaust work, and were professional, fast, and courteous. I was visiting a friend in the area last week and my van started making a concerning sound. D&K was recommended by my friends father in law. I called and they got me in immediately. The owner looked it over and test drove it twice. Everything was fine so he sent me on my way but first let me know he would be for sure praying for my safe drive home. He was professional and personable. D&K was a God send for us and we highly recommend them. We are a little sad we live too far to use their services. You would be missing out to use anyone else for your auto mechanic needs.
