It was great that an employee provided assistance to me by testing and replacing my battery. The staff member who assisted me willingly handled the exchange. Because I also bought a new air filter, he kindly installed it and disposed of my dirty one. This was my first visit to this location, and I will definitely return. The superior customer service has made me a solid new customer!

Leander store always provides excellent customer service every time I've been there. Bryan was a Rockstar last week and saved the day for me. Great team at that store as the store manager called me day after to ensure I was taken care of and satisfied. Thank you Leander AutoZone, keep doing what you do best!

I went to this Leander location after being misled by someone about a bad battery, which ended out not to be the case. Ricky, the fine gentleman working at this site, not only took the time to inspect the battery and its condition before printing out the results, which showed a good battery but a low charge, but he also explained that this could be due to a faulty alternator but can confirm it once the battery has a full charge. I inquired about another concern unrelated to the battery - a strange sound emanating from there. He suggested that it could be a serpentine belt issue, and that it is best to replace them while changing the alternator in older vehicles with high mileage. He also went out of his way to provide an excellent mechanic referral, which ended up saving the day. I'm delighted I went to AutoZone.

Only a 2 star due to its closer location to me. Otherwise, they have missed 2 opportunities to have what I needed. The next closest auto parts store had what I needed and never have come back here. Sorry!

We had some corrosion on our battery and weren t too sure how bad it was. Brought it by and got some great quick and friendly assistance from Caleb. Let us know what we could purchase to clean off corrosion ourselves and kindly cleaned off what we had on our battery today. Great service overall!

Caleb S went beyond his job title in customer service. He was so polite, patient, professional and persistence on helping and resolving the issue I had. I tried to tip him for his good hard work, he didnt accept. Kind hearted. Will definitely be my new store in area.

My girlfriend and I went into AutoZone helpless Ricky, the parts manager helped me get all my items on my list and also replaced my battery and my battery terminals all out of the kindness of his heart so grateful for Ricky. Definitely go to this location for great service!

I pen this review with a heavy heart and profound disappointment. The Autozone I have loved and relied on for years has changed drastically. I experienced this firsthand at their location on Highway 183 in Leander. There, I encountered a level of service that can only be described as grossly subpar, tarnishing the once-sterling reputation of the company. The prime catalyst of this unfortunate episode was a Staff. Saying the Staff's service was below average would be generous. When I arrived to purchase an M1 oil filter for my vehicle, the Staff. exuded an air of indifference that struck me as wildly out of sync with the Autozone culture I had grown accustomed to.Having been directed to find the required part, I was left to navigate the vast expanse of auto parts alone. This stark contrasted with my experiences at the Autozone in Bay City, Texas, where the helpful Staff would not only lead me to the appropriate aisle but also provide a comprehensive rundown of alternatives before helping me through the checkout process. And I understand if it is busy, and I know how to navigate myself. But it's not even that what shocked me. On returning to the counter, I was fortunate to find an empty queue, so I could instantly approach the same Staff again for checkout. During this process, I mentioned that my phone number had recently changed and asked if he could assist in updating my details in the system. Instead of curtly stating that they were too understaffed and that I should do it myself at home, his response was a bitter pill. Ironically, the store wasn't bustling with customers, and his colleague attended to the only customer present. This encounter profoundly shook the hitherto unwavering trust I had in Autozone. Over two decades of loyal patronage, I have always been met with professional, courteous service. This incident was so far removed from what I had expected that it felt like I had entered a different establishment altogether.Regrettably, my once revered haven for auto parts has fallen from grace. This deplorable level of service has compelled me to reevaluate my options. If the Autozone in Leander represents the new company standard, then, sadly, I must take my business elsewhere. O'Reilly Auto Parts will be my new destination henceforth. Here's hoping that AutoZone takes this critique to heart and endeavors to recapture the ethos of customer service that was once its pride and strength. No company, regardless of its stature, can afford to rest on its laurels in an industry as competitive as auto-parts retailing.

They don't want to honor the warranty on batteries because it was too hot this summer and now too cold lol

Always busy but customer service was fast and courteous. Didn't try to sale me something I didn't need! Went in to get a read on a code for the car and they printed it out and suggested talking to a mechanic first before buying parts to save money. After having our mechanic look it over he said they were honest and dependable with their suggestion by saving me alot of time and money.

Let me start by saying, I NEVER write poor reviews on public forums. I m from NY and am used to people being in not the best of moods in the customer service industry so it takes a lot for me to be annoyed by poor customer service. This place has by far the worst customer service of any store I ve ever been to. With the exception of the older gentleman who works at night, the staff here is super rude. I ve been here three times and have dealt with three different miserable people. The last visit I had, I came in with my stepson with a battery issue. He had a warranty on his battery so I came in and politely asked the person at the counter to check his battery. He seemed bothered that he had to do anything at all. He came outside and ran a check of the battery and seemed super annoyed. I told him thank you for assisting us multiple times with literally zero response. He then said his machine came back that the battery wasn t totally dead so he couldn t honor the warranty. He proceeded to tell me that it doesn t mean that the battery isn t junk but his machine is saying isn t junk enough to be able to honor the warranty. I asked what my options were and he said I could buy a new battery or the store could possibly charge it for me. I asked if he could please charge it for me and he said that it would take and hour to do and I said that s fine. He seemed super annoyed that I chose that option. He asked if I had any tools and I told him I didn t bring any. He reluctantly grabbed some tools from in the store, came back out proceeded to tell me he couldn t take off the battery because of an after market bolt that was on it. Once he realized it could easily be twisted off by hand, he took it off.I came back an hour later to get the battery like he instructed and he put the battery on the counter and said I was all set. I told him I didn t bring any tools to reinstall the battery (probably should ve known better with what I have already experienced with him) so he grabbed the tools he had, slammed them on he counter and said here you go .I don t mind doing the work. That s not the problem. It s the complete awful attitude and negativity from the workers here that make it an awful experience. They make it seem like you re torturing them by asking them to basically do what they re being paid to do. Needless to say, I will not be returning. I m sure they won t care. Especially if my service involves physical effort of any kind.

The person working was extremely helpful, went out of his way to make sure I had what I needed for my project. He was very courteous and seemed genuinely concerned for me getting the right product this time, after a different experience in other store locations.

Great store and selection! They are always very helpful like my last visit I had the pleasure of having a manager Renee help me and let me tell you she is amazing!! She had me pop my hood on my vehicle and she looked it over and got underneath to check stuff out and helped me change my wiper blades even! She is one awesome woman to know so much about vehicles!

I went in to buy a collection of things about a week ago - the guy helping me looked like was new to the job but was very courteous & made sure I got my questions answered. During checkout, another associate commented that the person helping was actually a sr company executive volunteering at the store - I was really impressed by that. That incident spoke to me of a culture of humility and customer focus - good job autozone!

Wow! I was just blown away with the best service I've ever had at a auto parts store. This Autozone always kills it from Roy, a fellow veteran to the other employees.Hands down, the store manager was on top of it. I walked in the door and was immediately welcomed by Ryan with a big smile. He got me the turn signal I needed and helped me install it. I thought I was going to have to take my tire off but he was able to pop the small cover off and change out the bulb. I was not even expecting all that. Great job Ryan!

Alec is super rude and doesn t do his job, came in to return a item with a receipt and still was giving me a hard time. Shirt wasn t tucked in looked like he just rolled off his bed. Definitely not being professional. Did not give me my money back he just said he couldn t help me.. I literally went down the road to 1431 autozone and they refunded me with no problem. Offended that I can t even go to my neighborhood autozone smh

Chad M. provided top notch service. I mentioned we were in a hurry and so he queued up the order and the battery and as soon as we got there he was ready to swap it out. He also double checked the warranty for us. Great service, great location.

Great, someone greeted me as soon as i came in. I was looking for a headlight, the one I was recommended didn't look quite right, so we went out to my car and after talking a bit figured out that my housing was cracked so until it was fixed it wouldn't matter if I got the light or not cause to would have a high chance of burning out. So they didn't get the sale but they did save me a bit of money by telling me what the real problem was.

I stop by here at least once a week for stuff, and 95% of the time it s in stock (not bad for 4 different vehicles). All of the staff members are super friendly and helpful; Especially the manager, Ryan! He always knows what I m talking about, and goes above & beyond! If I ever need help installing something then he also takes the time to help me further! My fav auto store for sure! Thanks guys!

I came here to have my battery checked. It was dead and I needed a new one. Ryan was very helpful and did not try to pressure me into purchasing an upgraded battery - just explained the difference between my two options. Plus he removed the old battery and installed the new one within minutes. Great customer service in a world where you don t always receive that. Great job #Autozone!

Helpful folks. Know what they are talking about. Standard problem with all auto parts stores...you ask where something is, they tell you an aisle number and let you hunt for yourself. If busy, understandable but, only me in store and 2 assistants... why aren't they trained to walk you to the spot in their idiosyncraticaly arranged aisles!
