Eddie is a model of customer service and their mechanics in the back did great work on our truck. Least stressful auto repair experience we've had in years and at a reasonable price without the pushy sales approach. We will definitely be back for future service needs. Thank you!

I love this place. They do good work and do a nice job of communicating. Their new estimate and billing notifications make things so much easier. Everything is itemized based on urgency ( some things are critical, some are just optional maintenance things). I never feel pushed to do anything - they present the issues and let you decide. And you can pay through your phone before you pick up the vehicle ( which saves time).Highly recommend Austin Automotive on E Crystal Falls Pkwy!

My experience was awesome. The gentleman who helped me was funny and very helpful and very detailed when giving my diagnoses about my car. Sorry I'm horrible with names. But he deserves a raise lol

I had called them the day before asking for a quote they gave me a quote within minutes for an alignment on my car. When they had given me a quote I asked if I could put a appointment over the phone they said yes and took me in at 12:30 the next day it took them an hour to do it very efficient cheap and effective and fixed my car

I heard rattling noises and took my car in. Turns out I needed a new engine mount and new right axle seal. Work and customer service were excellent but car repair took longer than expected. I think the problem was wrong part ordered (transmission mount).

I sent my car in for a clutch replacement after the throwout bearing died on me. When I picked the car up after the service I had to limp home in 2nd and 4th gear because I couldn't get it to engage in 1st or 3rd at all. I have video of the throwout bearing screaming the last time I drove it before towing it to the shop and that video shows me having no issues actually hitting all 5 gears. I called the shop back to tell them about this and they immediately deflected saying my syncros were bad and they wouldn't do anything about it since they don't do internal transmission work. I found the issue this morning. The shift stopper bolts were adjusted so far out the lever was hitting it and preventing it from fully engaging into gear. After readjusting that I can hit all the gears just fine again. This is something you would think they would catch if they test drove and checked their work. I don't even know why you would need to readjust those bolts if you weren't doing any actual transmission work. On top of that they threw away my interior matching charcoal grey shift knob for a black one that no longer matches my interior. There was nothing wrong with the old knob. Three stars because the new clutch feels great but I won't trust this shop with my car again.Service: Transmission

The Leander store was able to fit me in right away, which I appreciated. I felt that my price quote for the battery and labor was high. Edited- New management reached out and discussed the issue and listened to my concerns. This was probably an isolated incident so I ve adjusted my review.I ve used AA Leander many times and have been happy but the last time I took a vehicle in and paid for the diagnostic fee I was told $13,0000 for a new engine. The counter guy said it s known for engine problems etc but for the price I should scrape the car. I took to another shop and it was the ac compressor. I ve never declined an estimate from AA so I feel that because it was a commercial vehicle that specific shop tried to pound town me. I ve called the location and discussed the issue before this post.

I had my car towed here after experience a flashing engine light and a shaking car. They called me within an hour and let me know that nothing was wrong with my car lol. I got my oil change and my car is working just fine, but I really appreciated how kind all of the guys were. I am always super skeptical about car places but these guys put my mind at ease. If I ever experience any *real* car issues, I will definitely be coming back here. I can't remember his name but he helped me out at the front desk and was extremely kind and helpful.

Avoid at all costs. Back in October, my car wouldn t start routinely. I brought it in and mentioned that I thought it was the starter or battery. Paid over $800 to replace the alternator. The next day, the car won t start again and I am stranded with my two children at a local business. They were nice enough to come tighten up the loose ends to restart the car. Two weeks later, same issue- intermittent success with starting the car. They looked it over again and said everything looked fine- it must just be a fluke. 2 months later, car doesn t start again, and I bring it it again requesting that they look at the starter. They replaced my battery and changed my oil. They also offered to flush lines that they had already flushed 6 months ago. Here we are 6 months after the initial issue and the car will not start yet again. I brought it to the Honda dealership and they immediately diagnosed issues with the starter. The people may be nice, but they don t actually fix the issue. I will NEVER return to this repair shop.

Reckless driving. Almost collided with my car while changing lanes. I wouldn't trust my vehicle with them.Whoever was driving on the 183 at 12:30PM Nov 2nd needs to go to traffic school.

I got my car towed to this shop as the car was no longer able to be driven. When I was told the initial issue and situation for my car I found it fair, after paying about 500 dollars for an AUX battery in my car as it has the auto start/stop feature. But when I got the car back for the first time the check engine light was back on and when I went back to tell them, they cleared the code and sent me on my way, I didn't feel great about it, as the permanent code was still there and it didn't go away when I ran the codes. The check engine light came back on a week later, brought it back in and they took another look at it. Found nothing wrong and sent me on my way. Another week goes by issue came back AGAIN. They checked it and couldn't find any issues. Eventually I got an appointment with the dealership they found that the battery that these people gave me was basically dead. After they replaced the new AUX battery, they found ANOTHER issue, the AUX battery relay was bad, replaced that and then the car had no more issues with the current to the battery. So after replacing the AUX battery twice and having my car down for about a month and a half due to having to take it to them about 3 times before I was told they couldn't do anything else, and then having to wait until I could get my car to the dealership and paying for more towing as it could not drive. I spent about 1300 in all for a battery and a relay... The fact that I brought it several times to this place and the issue that I was having was not fixed frustrated me to no end. All I will say is that they are professional up front but that's about all I can say about how they are. Behind that I don't trust that they can fix my cars, I will never bring them back to here or any other Austin Automotive Specialists.Services: Electrical repair, Auto battery replacement

Jerome delivers quality customer service and the the job was done quickly and at a competitive rate. They pointed out a leaking CV boot that they found during a brake job. When they started to repair the CV joint it fell out in two pieces it was in such bad shape.
