There is a very dishonest drunk that works here named Tomas Hinohosa, Jr. that drove a customers black or dark colored 2009 to 2014 Ford F150 Crewcab on the evening of January 23, 2023, and wrecked into the back of my niece's car with 3 other passengers and a 5 month old baby. He fully denied that it was even him which I video recorded and I was about to show him the video from that night taken by one of the passengers, but since he lied about ever being involved, I believe a formal video needs to be created. I even went to his home to see if he would change his story and he doubled down on the lie, which was also recorded. The shop looks like a pretty decent setup but unfortunately has a bad apple in the mix. This is the truck he was driving. Video compilation coming soon.

Excellent service- Honest and through. Originally thought we d have to wait a couple weeks for a part (which they were up front about) but they went above and beyond to hunt down the part for us and got us out in a week. More than fair pricing with knowledgeable staff that was able to return our car to like new condition. They even found and fixed a squealing noise that had been on going and we couldn t figure out where it was coming from- like I said very through.Highly recommend!

I understand that everyone s experience is different due to circumstances that are unique to the situation. In my case, I have received phenomenal customer service from Amber, JR and Charlie. I work as a Manager so I hold EVERY business accountable on the quality of their customer service. Amber was so helpful and nice to be even when I displayed an attitude because I was EXTRA stressed and snappy. I have a lifted Jeep with accessories so my repair was not an easy one but Amber made sure that all T s where crossed and I s where dotted. I went back due to a popping noise that I could hear and they fixed it on the spot. I was rolling down the road within 15 minutes. I have used Clear Lake Body Shop before and it has been pleasant every time. I wanted to take time to document my appreciation and recognize them for their hard work. This body shop went above and beyond.I would never consider going elsewhere other than Clear Lake Body Shop. A+++

I've had my Honda Civic hybrid repaired at CLBS twice--hit a deer in front, and later got rear-ended by a lawn crew pickup. The repairs were flawless, and accomplished on time and budget. This is a quality family-owned business with a skilled people in the office, on the wreckers, and in the shop. Highly recommended!

Even with receipts and final bill in hand CLEAR LAKE BODY SHOP treated me like a bum on the street begging for money when I came to them for help. When I recieved my car back from them it had a loud rattling noise. A missing spare tire and missing wheel locks. The very next day I returned to the shop the mechanic told me it was a loose screw on the heat shield and if it was to happen again bring it back. Those were his exact words. No specified time or anything. When I returned to them recently I explained 3 times what happened. No one took 5 minutes out just listen to me and check out the heat shield. Instead I was told me it had been over a year and to take it somewhere else and have them tell me what was wrong with it then bring it back. I dont know anyone who works on cars so being a woman I took it to the dealership. Well to even be seen by the dealership it was a $135 diagnostic charge. I had no other choice. Guess what was wrong with the car? The heat shield had a "loose screw" which was too small. So there you have it. $135 for a screw. It really hurt my feelings was hurt. Instead of helping me they interrogated me like I was lying.... When I tried to give them a call it wouldn't go through. So I decided to call from another number and boom it rings. They blocked my number. Who treats their paying customers in such manner? LADIES DO NOT GO THERE ALONE THEY WILL TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF YOU.

I went for an estimate over 3 weeks ago and still have not received the estimate. I have asked them 3 times to send to insurance and myself, but keep getting told they need to look up more information. The work that my car needs is minimal so obviously they don't need my business.

I sincerely wanted my truck repaired, after this shop was highly recommended. Sadly, they did not follow through with thier promise even when I contact them to say I wanted the repair. It seemed that they were not interested in my self pay instead of insurance payment. Being my occupation is in the insurance business, I will not return or refer anyone. Btw, I did not tell them my occupation.

I can grade my experience with Clear Lake Body Shop as excellent.Especially helpful were Angel and estimator Charlie Ruhl.They were very friendly, attentive, honest and professional.Charlie gave me a fair estimate for my recently bought pre-owned car, which helped me tremendously in my dispute with a Dealership.I greatly appreciate it.

I had a fender bender a couple of weeks ago and I took my Honda Ridgeline to my Honda dealer and I was told that they don't do collision repair and I was devastated because I don't know any good body shop around but Mr Orey Hebert of Honda recommended Clear Lake Body Shop. So, not knowing what to expect (I am a female with no knowledge of car parts or not inclined to it ) took my truck to CL Body Shop and right away the girl behind the desk was so friendly and of course, the man that I spoke to about my problem was Mr Rob and believe me he knows the insurance, what needs to be done and how long it will take to repair. I tell you these people surpassed all my expectations. They installed the bottom front fender (if that's the right term) in a very timely manner. I am soooooo glad I went to this place. The clear coat was peeling on my truck and I visited Clear Lake Body Shop. Charlie explained the paint/clear coat process and why it peeled. I then decided to repaint the entire truck. The paint job was finished in the time promised and the price quoted. The results far exceded my exspectations!!!!! I would recommend this facility!!These are good people.........

Fantastic people! Did a great job on repairing my car after I was T-Bones by an idiot. Great to work with quality and care in fixing your car back to original. Will definitely be my go to shop for future work.

I had a very good experience with this business. Everyone I dealt with was super friendly and very professional. My car was finished on time, and the repair was flawless. I highly recommend Clear Lake Body Shop.

This was the WORST place I have ever been. I got an estimate for $850 and it turned out to be $1300!!! They straight up lied to my face multiple times and told me it would be ready in 3-4 days but it took them 2 weeks to complete the job! It was absolutely ridiculous I would not recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to get ripped off!!!! Horrible communication with customers, didn't leave voicemails when they called just all around horrible service.

This place is a joke. Poor quality of work to the point that when car was turned into me a piece that goes under the hood was in the back seat. Lied to me for 3 weeks and was finally told i was not lied too intentionally. When what ever his postion os there Nick came out after I informed them of the part in the back seat and missing fasteners I mentioned that there was a big gap between two repaired parts of the car. His answer " well that part is connected to that part" by this time i was just done and said oh well. His response "coolieo" . also as I was leaving a couple walked saying we are still have problems with the car. Guess I not the only one. SRAY AWAY. FAR FAR AWAY.

Three months worth of dealing with these people is enough!Problem still not solved but I will never take my vehicle there again.I will have it fixed elsewhere. I'll let the insurance handle them....
