Fantastic!!!!! Fantastic is the only word I can use to describe ZinkWerks. Everytime I bring my car there I am blown away by the Professionalism, cleanliness and friendliness of each and every person I interact there. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant, always willing to take the time to explain, and advise. Now onto the best part, the prices are so reasonable I had to run my eyes. After owning multiple German cars you come to realize stuff can get expensive. ZinkWerks finds a way to give you the best service and price without sacrificing quality and comfort. ZinkWerks is the only place for your Audi.

I drive an Audi RS7. I ve been to this shop twice. First time was to get a second opinion because the Audi dealership told me I needed all my front suspension bushings replaced. After that, I took the car to a different European car shop, I told them about my concern and they also said that I needed those bushings so I decided to give ZinkWerks a try. Steve was very busy that day, but he took the time to check my car, and to my surprise he confirmed what I thought: all my bushings were still in good condition and didn t need a replacement. Steve has a lot of experience and he s a very knowledgeable person, he explained everything to me and even gave me an estimate for that repair when the time comes. Price was very reasonable, compared to the dealership and the other shop.After that first visit I immediately knew I can trust them 100%, because they don t try to sell something you don t need, they re honest and to me that s very important as a customer.Second time here was last week to get a four wheel alignment for my RS7 and again, Steve did an excellent job, car is perfect now.Needless to say, ZinkWerks is the only place I trust to work on my car!Thank you Steve and the ZinkWerks team!Service: Wheel alignment

Got lowering springs installed on my mk8 GTI.The techs were super professional and knocked the install out in no time. Talking to the customer service rep really helped me pass my time waiting. Will definitely recommend them for any VW/Audi work. Would love to meet Steve the next time I'm there.

Went to zink works on 2/15 to get a lower crank pulled and a intercooler. Put on. After finding missing part from a intercooler I bought online. I had to go to another shop to get a new intercooler. Zink work promised to still get me in and out the same day if I would go get the parts. They did awesome work and very very fair pricing. I drove 3.5 house to their shop and 3.5 bsck and car run great with zero issues. I'll definitely will come back on my next services. I love help smaller shops like this because they do good work and deserve all our business. They even let me keep my car in his shop while I downloaded my tune. Didnt rush me out. Little things like that will keep me as a repetitive customer. Great sit of guys that work in that shop. Next time I'll get my oil, and breaks changed from them.

Refreshing car service, couldn t recommend this company enough. They serviced my wife s Audi Q8 at half the price of Audi with far more care and detail than a dealership. Text throughout their honest findings and pointed out warranty issues to address with Audi.

I needed some work done to my '17 Audi A4 and looked into this shop on a recommendation. Steve Zink the owner reached out to me after I made a post on an Audi forum page looking for said shop recommendations. We set a date and time for me to drop off the vehicle and that's how it started. I got to his shop and thought after seeing the multitude of other Audi/VW vehicles, old and new, that this guy is not a small time mechanic.The shop is well laid out, and pretty clean considering the work that is being done. I walked in and was greeted by a guy that was once a customer and was helping out while the front end guy was out for personal reasons. I told him my concerns and what I wanted done to the car. In this instance it was motor mounts, transmission service, and to check for coolant leaks as I was smelling coolant when I would drive medium to long distances. I had previously contacted my local dealership to get a quote on the same work. $600 for the transmission service, $1500 for the motor mounts, and at least an hour diag time to check for the possible coolant leak. I had also asked the dealership for a replacement key since I was only provided ONE when I bought the car (used). I was quoted $964 for the key and fob and decided I would just be a single key kind of guy since dealerships are TYPICALLY the only ones that can provide keys and program the FOBs. **Turns out ZinkWerks can also order keys and program the FOBs! And they can do it for about $400 cheaper!!**The dealership's quote with the key was about $3200 WITHOUT tax. I got all the work done using OEM Audi parts, and added a tire rotation and spark plugs AND THE KEY for less than $2,600. The best part was dropping the car off on a Tuesday and picking it up the following Thursday. The vehicle was finished Wednesday afternoon and the key arrived and was programmed Thursday afternoon. The completion time was MUCH FASTER THAN THE DEALER COULD HAVE EVER HOPED FOR.Overall I was EXTREMELY pleased with the quickness of service, the REGULAR UPDATES sent to me via text, and the professionalism of Steve and his employees. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND ZinkWerks for anyone that owns an Audi or Volkswagen. Great job guys! You have gained a customer for life. CORRECTION: You have gained a family member for life! THANK YOU!

I found ZINKWERKS through many customer referrals. I took my car to the VW dealership where they told me repairs would exceed $8000. When I talked with Steve and explained the car symptoms he thought it would be a camshaft magnet and wanted to do his own diagnostics to be sure. Sure enough it was the camshaft magnet which only cost me $450. He stated that all other items on the dealership repair list could wait. My car runs so smooth and beautifully. I highly recommend Steve and the company. I will not be using anyone else in the future. You can t go wrong with ZINKWERKS.

5 Star shop. Everyone is great to deal with. Pricing is very reasonable, and they know their Audi s and VW s very well. What started as a routine timing belt job became a replacement motor and 6spd swap after we found the lock cracked from a prior owners work. Steve was and able to do a full refresh on the new motor and tackle all the common failure points to help make this a solid of a daily as you can get with an 18 year old Audi. Super happy with the experience, and will be using them for all the work I can t do myself on the S6 going forwards. Can t recommend them enough.Update: car has been amazing since everything was refreshed. The original A/C compressor went out recently. Went to the new shop in Lavon for this repair and service was just as excellent as always. A/C blowing colder than it has since I ve owned it with a new compressor and recharge. I ve also had some small upgrades and maintenance done since my initial review. There would be 3 or 4 five star reviews from me if Google allowed one for each visit.So thankful to have Zinkwerks to help keep my classic S6 on the road.

Took my car here a few months back and I m very pleased with the service provided. If you need your car fixed as quick as possible this isn t the place for that because I think they have a smaller crew. This is where you should go if you re looking for exceptional quality work done by people you can trust. Very satisfied with my experience.

Zink installed a set of AST coilovers along with all new suspension components on our MKV R32. The install was completed in the time I was quoted and the work was top notch. He was also able to troubleshoot and make a recommendation on an exhaust leak. Took my Jetta here for timing belt after rolling 100k miles. These folks are AMAZING! They only had the car a couple of days as compared to the VW dealership who needed 10 days. Zink Werks also charged me almost 40% below the dealer quote. I was hesitant to drive this far out, but it was totally worth it. Customer service is top tier.

As an owner of multiple Auto Union cars over the years, I have had more negative experiences than positive ones when it came to propery diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining them by so-called "professional mechanics" at dealers and indy's alike. Due to this reason, I made sure to keep my cars in proper running condition by doing most of the maintenance myself.An aging body with a tight work/life schedule does not offer me much time to tinker, let alone perform major services.After letting my warranty lapse in one of my cars, the dreaded cooling system failure reared its plastic-parts head recently. The only experience I had with an independent auto shop in DFW was with Steve back in 2014 for an air conditioning issue. I was thoroughly impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, and efficiency performing the job back then, so I rang him again to get the latest work done.He hasn't changed much. Straight shooter, no B.S. person with ample knowledge, tooling, and amazing customer service! Once the car was towed into his new shop in Lavon, he tackled the job with speed and accuracy. What would have been a 2-3 day project in other places, he was able to accomplish in hours. As a bonus, his shop rate cannot be touched!If you're in need of your VW group car being serviced by a professional....#think Zink

Ive been an owner for a short period of time of a 2019 b9 s5. Since then ive been to Zinkwerks twice. Each time ive been met with an out standing service provider and they answer all of my questions. Great place, great communication best attention to customers. I did and appointment and I had to cancel it or move it earlier and he didn t hesitate and got done all my hub/bearings, brake diagnostics, oil and filter change on 5 hours. He order the parts and took care of everything for me. Outstanding service with the best one to one customer care and communication.

Zinkwerks is the go to shop for an affordable and trustworthy Audi/VW mechanic. The only person I trust to work on stuff I can t or won t do myself. He did a full engine swap and refresh with a manual swap on my S6, and I couldn t be happier with the results. Also did rotors and on the books for new brake lines. I don t see my review from their old location here so I wanted to make sure the Lavon shop got the recognition it deserves. I m excited because now my 50 minute drive doesn t also include tolls. But the service is worth it no matter what the distance.

I've known Mr. Zink since he was working out of a 1 lift garage way back in the day. Very humble beginnings, however I think that helped him build the very strong character you see today; and which is why is he the bad ass success and best Audi mechanic in the Western Hemisphere. He's never tried to sell me parts I don't need and always completes the job on time like the Transporter (Jason Statham). I like to buy small parts like bulbs, shift knobs, intakes, and fancy grills etc. Steve always treats me fair and gives me a generous price. Thanks a lot Steve your're the best!

Recently moved here (about a year ago) from Houston. Part of the Audi Club of Houston and Audi Club of North Texas. Had a small issue with my Audi and I asked in both groups who to go to. Anyone who suggested any place apart from Zinkwerks was wrong! I went to a couple of different places and felt like just a guy with a car problem. When I went to Zinkwerks, Steve treated me like a member of the family. He looked at my issue, identified the key driver, fixed it and at the same time checked a few other things and told me what I need to prepare for. He also gave me a ballpark idea of the potential cost and some key things I need to look out for. When you hear that someone can hear every sound in a vehicle, you need to picture Steve and his crew. They are truly car whisperers and they will treat you right. I am big about reviews and I saw the negative reviews here and honestly, it looks like someone was just having a bad day and decided to take it out here. If these folks don't do right by you then you are definitely at the wrong place! This is the place to go to have your German car taken care of, especially if you want to keep it long term.

Steve and crew are amazing people on top of the high quality work. I went to another shop before them and have out that the work for the high price that was done before was either not the best or overpriced. Also the other shop didn't make you feel very welcome. ZinkWerks high quality work for the price, and family atmosphere made me feel welcomed and at home. I definitely recommend these guys to anyone who wants great work and are planning on modifying their VW and Audi

You will not find this level of professionalism anywhere else. This quality of work and customer service is hard to come by these days, especially at a great price. They repaired my VW quickly and kept it under budget. Friendly service and excellent communication. I just can t say enough good things about this business. This is where you need to take your car.

My Audi Q5 started to misfire suddenly and the day was a holiday. So I took it to firestone because all other places were closed and once they started repairing the car, they told me that I will have to tow the car to the dealership as they cannot fix it. I had to go through the firestone cooperates to get my car without any charge. Then I went to another European repair shop and they quoted me way expensive.I found Zinkwerk. Though it was a 45 min drive, they way Steve talked on phone impressed me. I took the car. They started to investigate the issue right infront of me and started to explain the everything in detail. Once I got home, Steve sent me pictures of the issue and he knew what needs to be done. During the time they had the car, they kept sending the photos of the current status so that I know what s going on with the car. No other place has ever done it before. It builds a big trust. Finally, Steve and Matt fix my car at low cost. Way more cheaper than the repair places I ever been to. The car runs smooth and better now. This is a nice shop with hard working staff who is passionate about their work. The lead mechanic is well known and one of the best in the industry. Absolutely love these guys. Spotted a bent rear axel within a couple minutes and gave me advice on where to get the part. Had my car fixed within a week and I can now enjoy my first Audi. These people are the real expert in Germany cars and actually any car brand! I took my Audi RS7 to Audi Plano dealer and they told me my engine is out and needs to be replaced for $64k! I live in Plano TX so I went to so many mechanics to ask, and most of them said they don t work on high performance cars but one of them told me about ZinkWerk! It was to far from me but of course it was worth it! He told me if ZinkWerk tells you it s an engine, so for sure it s an engine! I took it to them and they checked and let me know the problem and they so professionally fixed it for 3 percent of the Audi price! I was surprised and can t thank them enough for the work they e done! They were very welcoming and nice. They deeply know about Audi cars! It s their easy task! Thanks so much Mat and Steve! Best mechanic ever!

One of the best specialty shops I've ever used. The guys here know their stuff, the staff is super friendly, and the owner will work with you every step of the way on what you want done on your car. Price for the work I had done was VERY reasonable, and I definitely won't hesitate to go back. Be sure to make an appointment, as this shop stays busy. If you want the best service for your VW/Audi, THIS is the place to go.
