I went in to get my tire pressure sensor changed and they found my brakes were metal to metal!! I am so grateful for their thorough inspection of my vehicle. They surely saved my life! Reasonably priced, great communication, friendly and fast service. I will be referring everyone I know!

Phillip was a great help! They got me in early in the morning right as they opened and aired up my tires even as I was rushing to work. Thought I was going to be late but thanks to Phillip and his team, they took care of me and I even got to work early!

Phillip and Blake worked tirelessly with my extended warranty company to ensure my engine was repaired properly and at a minimal cost to me. It finally runs great again! My wife and I will continue to have our cars serviced there.

I am visiting Austin over the Christmas holidays and wouldn t you know my car needed major repairs. I am very impressed with Sun Auto Service. As I needed my car over the holidays, they were able to order all the parts in a timely manner and complete all the repairs in two days. They were very helpful and professional, I give them a superior rating.

Impressive service. While addressing my requested work, mechanic s inspection found other important issues that needed to be fixed. Manager discussed repairs with me and kept me informed of progress. Very professional.

Very pleased with this visit to Sun Auto for an alignment. I brought my truck to them after dealing with another local shop, Don Rucker Tires, on multiple occasions to remedy their alignment job. The other shop insisted their work was good and the fault is mine (my tires/driving habits/perception), but the alignment specs as discovered by Sun Auto were shown to be well out of the proper range, causing the symptoms I was experiencing. They worked with me to get the specs to where I want them (not just "if it's green it's good") and where I'm happy with it. The truck drove noticeably better as soon as I pulled out if the driveway. I'll trust coming back here for another repair after this visit.

Nice shop, and the staff was friendly. However, I booked an appointment online. When I got there they said I did not have an appointment in the system, so not sure what happened there. Luckily they were able to take me in anyway. The reason that I came here was to troubleshoot an issue I am experiencing with my vehicle, which is under an extended warranty with CarMax, and their web site states that they work with CarMax warranty. I went in the pick my car up they said that it could be one of a couple of things and suggested that I take the car to CarMax for further investigation, and charged me $200 for the diagnosis.So, I paid $200 for them to tell me that it s either something, or nothing at all and told me to take my car elsewhere. Seriously??? Based on this experience I cannot see myself going back to Sun Auto Service again.I gave this rating two stars because the staff was friendly, and the shop was clean.

They were able to get one of my vehicles in the next day for an alignment with no appointment. The vehicle is older but they were able to get it done, now it handles WAY better than before. They are a little pricier but THEY ARE WORTH IT.

I have used Sun Auto several years for general service ! Oil change and overall service for my 2013 older car. I fell safe and good that they do such a great job. I do recommend them here in Lakeway! So happy they are here to take care of my car. Thank you guys you re all great! I was charged $185 for a diagnostic to see where an oil leak was coming from. The answer I got back was "Well it could be this one thing that costs $2,000 to fix, or this other thing that costs $900 for fix". They didn't narrow it down to the root cause of the leak.So in essence I paid $185 for them to shrug their shoulders, and I walked away without a definitive answer. They didn't even ask if I wanted them to fix it. What good is a diagnostic if you don't know exactly what the problem is after it?I've been a customer for 5 years, and I think I'm officially done going here.

Had a pleasent experience with oil change for Odyssey. Since I had an appointment, they got me in and out in an hour. Although they provided a report highlighting recommended service issues, they were not pushy to get it done immediately.

The guys at Sun, most notably Philip and (I want to say) Lance (?) this time, are genuinely helpful, and definitely go above and beyond. it's obvious they're trustworthy and only mean to help. I'm all in.

Great fast, friendly and fair price service! I was expecting to wait 4-5 hours like other shops told me on the phone but these guys took 30 mins and I was done. Rip off !! Took vehicle to get fixed came out worse!!! Had to take to B&B muffler who did the job the right way in a couple hrs and charged less.

My car was taken care of fast and efficiently. I had a great experience with everything but what I heard from the front desk staff. They were talking to each other but I was at the front desk. They were talking bad about a mechanic saying he always does it wrong. I m sure there was more to the story but it made me uncomfortable. I would use them again but please watch what you say around your customers.
