There was quite a wait, which is not usual for this particular location. I came for a car inspection and when my turn for service came, it was fast and efficient. My technician was courteous and professional. The only negative I have is all the f- bombs flying about the garage

I have been bringing my car here for a few years now and I have never had any problems before. That was up until recently when I brought my car to get an oil change and since I have been coming here for a while, I did not think I would have any issues. I took my car to get an oil change back in October and it is now almost the end of November. I thought everything was fine with my car until one day my car started shaking violently and I could not drive my car down the street without having to turn it on and off. I was not sure what was wrong with my car because I have NEVER had any issues with my car prior to this oil change. I had somebody come and look at my car and was told that it was a very stupid mistake. However, he did tell me if I had kept driving my car any longer it would have caused some MAJOR car problems for me.I am glad that I kept the receipt and everything after I had gotten my oil change because I have the names of who worked on my car that day and it was Chris G. and Garrett. Since I had brought my car here for a while, I did not think that Chris G would forget something so small but instead of my dipstick oil cap what was put in place of that was a cap that belong to a bottle it seems. Mind you, my car part looks nothing like that bottle cap.. (I will provide pictures)During this situation I was never rude or anything towards anyone working here because I was trying to be polite. I did call and speak with Miley who told me she would order it for me and that it would take a week for the part to come in. Well weeks turned into over a month, I called multiple times and for some reason it seemed that no one ever liked to answer the phone. Although when I did get a hold of them, I spoke with who Miley did tell me their vendor cancelled the order for my part because the company card for declined???? I m not really sure how that happens after they had charged me over a hundred dollars for an oil change. Chris G had also given some attitude on the phone when I would call asking about my car part which was unacceptable and very unprofessional considering I had been a loyal customer for years.Once Miley called me about the card getting declined she assured me that she would get it ordered again. She mentioned that this time it would be expressed shipped and it would be delivered 11/24 or 11/25 to which I would receive a call. It is now 11/26 and I never received a call from the shop. I had to order the part myself from Austin because I cannot go any longer without a car considering that I work and go to school full time. The part I ordered from Austin only took 2 days for it to arrive.The car part that Chris G and Garrett lost in their shop was never delivered to the shop. The whole situation was handled very poorly and unprofessional. I have not been able to contact anyone about this because no one answers the phone. I had to use my own money to buy a part that they lost! That is just unbelievable. I will never be taking my car here again nor will I recommend this shop to anyone ever again.

Took my truck to get a oil change here and come home to find oil residue on the undercarriage and now there is oil on my drive way way to go fellas

I made an impromptu visit for an oil change because this Take 5 was the closest oil change on my GPS search. I pass this facility all the time but have never had a thought to stop. I am soooo happy I stopped today. The service and the technicians were top notch. Gerald & Chris were both professional & friendly. I liked the way Gerald explained the differences in the types of oil. The added surprise, that I definitely did not expect, was the inspection of other stuff under the hood. This Take 5 on Spencer Hwy will definitely be my go to in the future.

It's always nice to stop by and get my oil changed or get an inspection done when it's due. All of you are really good at what you do. I'm always greeted with a how are you today n what can we take care of for you and also a bottled water and when I leave I'm always given the info on what to do next n how to care for my vehicle. Thanks again yall are awesome!!

Fast, friendly and exemplary service. The days of sitting in a dirty gas station for an hour are finally over! Thank goodness! You guys are great! To anyone who hasn't tried them yet, get in there! You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Oil change went smooth and they also checked the cabin filter and it was OK. I was glad they didn t try to sell me a new one. I will go back again to this place for an oil change. this is my first time to use them.

Very fast service. Amazing group of men that help me. Knowledgeable, friendly. Best service hands down. Asked how my day was going, offer me a bottle of water while I waited. Even offer my boys some fruit snacks.

I always come here to change my oil especially when I get the military discount. But this time, it took a little longer getting my vehicle serviced. More like an hour wait and that was not good the manager was good but not everything was serviced like it s was supposed to. Oil change, filter change and bye bye! I could have probably purchased some new windshield wipers but they didn t check! My windshield reservoir needed filled but it wasn t checked. But it is what it is, my oil was changed and I got my discount.

Your technician was very nice and friendly. Very one there was very helpful and friendly. I really appreciated their customer service. You don't see that in most places anymore. They did a great job and I will continue to come to them for my car needs. Thank you!

Unprofessional, rude and terrible customer service. Had no confidence they did anything properly.Had to take it to the Fairmont location where it took them over 30 minutes to replace the screw they stripped.Was short half a quart of oil.They did not even plug my air flow sensor back in which cause a check engine light as soon as I left.It's unfortunate because I've taken several vehicles here over the years, from daily drivers to high performance cars and they were always nice and good service. The past couple trips that has no longer been the case. The Fairmont location was extremely helpful and nice, they got a new customer out of it at least.

On Christmas Day 2023 employee Garrett who I really appreciated went beyond his responsibilities by helping me find out why my truck was low in oil knowing that I did an oil change less then 1 1/2 months leaked almost all my oil out. The bolt/plug wasn t placed back on properly from another take5 location didn t tighten properly. No naming location, ,but I appreciate Garret for helping me so much. Thank you Garret.In appreciation,I bought your employee lunch & his coworker ,too.Definitely will always return ..

I m so grateful to see these friendly faces!They were out near the street flipping their sign having a good time, and it reminded me I needed my washer fluid topped off. When you get your oil changed here, you get to stay in the car, they give you bottled water, AND they top off your fluids for the next 3k miles FOR FREE. They re ALWAYS knowledgeable and friendly! Love this place!Oh! And if you go to the website, there s a coupon you can use every time. :)

They have got to be the worst place to have your oil changed. They stripped the oil plug and it won't come loss. I understand oil was in for 3000 extra miles, never had a problem before. They were to tell me that why the plug wouldn't come loss. They changed the oil last time. Cost me $800 for a new oil pan, went back to see if they would help pay for their mistake! They informed me not their problem. Made them an offer if they pay half I'll pay the other. Customer service is not their they don't care about anyone........this has nothing to do with pricing it has to do with the incompetence of the staff and the problem they caused for me,and not giving a damn about service. I will not be returning to any take 5 locations and I will discourage others from going there. Your crew has no idea how to treat customers and if I were you they would not be working for me.

The lady who helped me at almost closing time was very nice and thoroughly efficient! I should ve taken her name for this review. However the other 2 males with her yesterday evening was not as professional as her. She had to call their help while she was alone attending to 2 vehicles. This visit was 12/29/23 around 5:45-6:00PM.

All I needed was my tires aired up, but Gerald made sure that I was in and out. Brian asked me how my service was and I was offered a bottle of water before I was even pulled in! Definitely coming back for an Oil Change soon!

Thank you take 5 crew. I usually don't go anywhere else. But made the mistake of going to Walmart. I had a tremendously bad experience at Walmart. Brought it back to take 5 and they not only resolved my issue they gave me a discount and fixed my problem. Brian was so understanding and helpful. I thank God for good people like him. Take 5 has a very good employee in Brian. I hope they appreciate him and his crew as much as I do. His crew was also very understanding and made the whole situation easier on me. Christian even joked with me to put me at ease. Again thank you take 5 crew in La Porte

Excellent service with a smile! As soon as I pulled in the guys working were super friendly and directed a bay. Christian was professional, knowledgeable and very polite. I appreciated his helpful product suggestions. Not that it matters for a job well done, but it didn't hurt that, This was the most handsome group of professionals I've ever seen at any take 5! They did not fill up my windshield washer for free as promised. It took 38 minutes to wait . The manager explained several things about the oil you use. I was not sure if they checked tire pressure s. If they did I did not see it. Prices way too high. I may go back to Wal-Mart a cross the street

I arrived a few minutes before they were due to close but they never made me feel rushed. Check everything for me. Did an awesome job..friendly..knowledgeable and very professional. Highly recommend them!

I was drove in to store #0414 in LaPorte TexasI was seeking a state inspection at this location where I service several of my vehicles.The representative could not get the inspection machine to function on he even lamented that "they just give us the machines- they never train us on how to actually use them"He tried several more times before deciding to tell me that my vehicle�may not be working�properly so he recommended�I take it somewhere to get fixed. This is a new 2021 Ford Bronco Sport.I called my dealership who wants to charge $150 for the diagnosis.But before I do that I decide to take it to another mechanic. They were able to give me my inspection�without any issues.I then drove back and asked for a refund and they said they couldn't because a service was rendered- the manager even said that sometimes their inspection�machine doesn't work on certain models. I asked if that was the case, why was no warning�issued before being charged for an inspection�that didn't happen. I was met with no answer and just being told sorry.This was not only a waste of my time during business hours but disappointing since common sense did not prevail and instead of issuing�a refund they rather lose an entire customer. I've taken this car in for inspection (to the same location) the last three years with no issues- looks like a training issue. I will no longer be a Take 5 Customer and advise my local Chamber of Commerce, where I serve to refer to a local company.I've also called their customer service line - and there has been no answer for the last 4 days. Just an all around a waste of time and money of an experience.

Great job!! Extremely polite & explained my questions fully. Would've given 5 stars but took lil longer than expected but there was a newer employee so I understand. Still provided great customer service. Keep it up guys!

It really did just take 5 minutes! The young lady who took us was very nice and she made it easy. They let us know that we had the wrong oil filter. She showed us our cabin filter and said it needed to be replaced. We had a great experience and it was my first time with them. They even offered cold waters for the road. I loved our first time here.Service: Oil change
