I felt really good vibes dealing with Dave's. The office was clean and professional, the welcome was friendly and courteous. The diagnosis was very fast, the scope of work was clearly outlined, completed quickly, and the communication throughout was timely and informative. And what a difference in my car's performance: At ~150k miles, I knew my old Lexus still had some life left in her, but the difference in acceleration has noticeably improved. I've waited a few months before posting a review and pleased that the better performance hasn't waned. Dave's may be a little off the beaten path (in a business park), but they're absolutely worth the effort to get there.

Dave's has yo be the best, low key, no pressure Automotive Repair shop i have experienced in a good number of years. They diagnose what is wrong with your vehicle, rate what has to be done relative to importance and safety, identify the cost to repair, and perform the work based on your decision on how you want to proceed. Work performed is excellent and completed when they say, and quite often earlier than committed. I've been using them for close to two years for all my vehicles and can't imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend Dave's Automotive in Kyle.

Affordable and knowledgeable. I've told a few people to come here and they're pretty happy with the service as well. We know the age old tale of women being swindled into auto services they don't need, but I've never had that issue here or even close. They'll quote me on things they recommend, with pictures to back it up and a detailed explanation. Definitely taking any car here when I can.

Dave and his Team are the real deal. I'm a long time Toyota enthusiast and I'd been looking for someone who I could trust with my trucks. I found Dave's by accident and was pleased to find out he had love for Toyotas as well and an extensive background and experience with their unique set of issues. Great shop, and good people! They have an extensive array of expertise from basic maintenance, to full frame replacement and mechanical knowledge, this is your one stop automotive shop! I encourage y'all to try this local business as building a repore with an establishment helps the community as well as yourself as you know you have a dedicated and fair place to take care of your second biggest investment- your vehicles. BTW- He's not just a Toyota guy, he knows is stuff about all cars. Its just rare to find people like Dave these days, yes he's a business man but he also cares about the customer and the community! I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone!! They were so kind & patient with me. I don t know anything about cars but they had no problem explaining each and every part of the service to me, also they finished my car so fast! I will definitely start coming here for oil changes as well. This was a 10/10 experience and I hope you give the guys down at Dave s auto shop a chance! Thank yall!

This shop is outstanding. Dave and his team do high quality repairs at a fair price. Owner Dave and Carlos at the front desk are very professional and kind.Technician Daryl worked on my Acura CLS, he has extensive experience in Hondas and Acuras, and the result speak for itself: my car is running great after the repair. I had been looking for a place to work on my Jeep! After the freeze we had my oil cooler cracked and my Jeep was leaking oil bad. I was stressed out as my Jeep Wrangler is my only way to get to and from work. He reached out on a post I made and it was the BEST decision I made! He walked me through everything and communicated everything with me. I wasn t worried or 2nd guessing my choice of taking my Jeep there. The staff was so friendly as well. It s hard to come by a good shop that will help you in your desperate time of need and they definitely did that and more! You now have a client for life! Outstanding Auto & Diesel Repair Shop! Professional, Courteous, Knowledgeable, and Very Fair Priced. From the initial phone call to set up an appointment to have my vehicle serviced, until the finale, has been hassle free and delightful. My questions & concerns were listened to and directly answered, my vehicle was inspected and diagnosed, I was presented a plan and procedure. I trust Dave's Auto and will continue to be a regular customer for all of my vehicles needs. I would highly recommend Dave's Auto to everyone I know.

I found Dave's Kyle Auto to be genuine. The team does not try to sell me unwanted services like many mechanics do.I have already informed all my friends and mentioned them on NextDoor as well.I have made Dave's my go to place for the best mechanic services in Hays County.What everyone will enjoy, the prices are fair for excellent services done right.

I took my truck here for new tires and got out of there with a really good price! The staff is super friendly and professional. Not only did they help me with my truck, I walked away with advice for my business as well. I am blown away by their customer service and I am never going anywhere else again. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

I have gone to Dave's for a few car issues. Every time I go, Carlos, Dave, Daryle, everyone is so nice. The repairs are always done fast, and at a great price. I will always bring my cars to Dave's for any issue.

Went here after getting my very first car. The car was used and had one issue that I knew of. My ac hose was messed up. Since it was my new car Carlos & Dave checked everything out for me and made a list of things that needed repaired in a list from most important to least important. Not only did they do that for me for free, Carlos sat me down and explained to me what was going on with the parts that needed to be replaced, how they work, & how they could potentially affect other things in the long run. I was 17 when I came in and knew nothing about what was going on with my car. For them to go out of their way to make sure my vehicle (which is super high in mileage) was safe to drive and take the time to explain everything to me made me feel so valued and appreciated. They knew I was young and inexperienced and didn t take advantage like most places would. I knew from then on this place was my forever auto shop. Great place to take your car very friendly and very professional and got my wheel bearings changed there The car drives like new The guys are great they're great attitude great experience and would go back again and again. Dave was awesome. Installed a new set of custom wheels and 33 tires on my 03 GX470 in about 10 minutes over my lunch break. I reached out on Facebook and he had a lift ready when I showed up. Doesn t get any easier than that! He s also keen to the Toyota off road world, evidenced by his clean Sequoia I saw when I rolled up. Anyways, here s the photo he took of my ride with her new shoes! Dave s repaired the air conditioner on my daughter s car, as well as fixed the ABS system on my Cadillac. They are friendly, professional, and skilled at what they do. Plus, they saved me more than a few bucks on my repairs. I recommend Dave s for your car servicing needs. I will take all of my vehicles to Dave s from now on.

Front desk employees are always very kind and helpful with any questions I have! Even went in recently for an oil change (while my windshield wiper fluid and tire pressure was low) and they topped off both for me without me even asking, I appreciated that. I m new to the Kyle area and was looking for someone local to trust with my car maintenance. Lucky for me Dave s Kyle Automotive Repair was nearby. Not only did I get an oil change but they were able to rotate the tires, Check my air filters and check a warning light for me. They went above and beyond!The shop was organized, the waiting area was comfortable and everyone was knowledgeable and friendly.
