Dac transmissions is if not one of the best mechanic shops around. I had taken my 2004 GMC Sierra to get a LS swap. Also got a rebuilt transmission and an exhaust kit. The results are insane I loved how it came out. They made sure to include all the features I wanted for the engine. I could not be more happier. They did it in a good timely manner even though there was some issues with having to swap more parts they fixed them on the spot. They also added little things for the engine to look nicer. They went above and beyond. Thank you Dac Transmission for your hard work and dedication.

I am so happy that I found this place!! I have been struggling with getting my truck back into good shape. This place has helped me so much. I got my transmission rebuilt for a great reasonable price and was told it would take about a week, but they ended up having it ready for me in about 2 days! I was so happy ! I don't plan to go anywhere else. This is the place I will be going to get everything I possibly can, done on my truck. If I could rate them 10 stars, I would ! Check them out for any car issues you may have! They are great people and they will work with you if needed.

I called the owner one afternoon and he told me to bring it in ASAP. I couldn't get to him til next day and he immediately went to work. I was expecting to get my truck back in a week and the it was completed in three days due to the weekend. The price he quoted me was the same price he charged me at the beginning and he let me know of addlt charges that could arise. Other places were charging me 2 to 3 times the amount. My truck is back to normal and I would def recommend this place if you need work on your transmission. His work also comes with a warranty when giving you a piece of mind.Service: Transmission

This shop encouraged me to bring my truck in asap when I told them my issues by phone over and they got it done pretty quickly, only two days. provided me to get me better parts for the same price which goes a lot further than saving a bit of money. The work they did was replacingmy transmission overall, very happy with the service and speed of it.They have a good and professional crew,made the experience seamless , he treats everyone with respect and values each customer. Would take my vehicle there again if need be.

I had my 4L60E transmission rebuilt on my 1996 silverado. The staff was efficient at getting me in as a priority, educated me on exactly what was the problem with physical proof, executed the job in a timely fashion, and kept me informed whilst doing so. I highly recommend them and ensure you'll have a shop who can always be counted on.

I highly recommend services from this business. Very informative place of business and easy going staff. I came in with my concerns, they took my truck on a test ride and explained to me what the issue could possibly be based on their years of experience. They were very upfront explaining that the service that would be provided may or may not fix my issue, but was the best start to trouble shooting my vehicle. I had transmission work done on my GMC Yukon. I try to do as much as I can myself, transmission is for sure out of my wheelhouse. I brought it on Thursday, I was quoted a week. I called Tuesday to check and see if there were any issues that came up that I would need to pay for, he said there were none and I could come in and pick it up. Two business days for a transmission after other shops in the area quoted me multiple weeks. I will for sure be coming back for all my maintenanceService: Transmission

Decided to use DAC based off of the positive reviews. It was a great experience overall. Price quoted for labor was fair. They worked with my hectic schedule and we re accommodating. They helped me price transmissions from local stores to find the best deal which was substantially cheaper than a few quotes from other local shops. Amazing experience with them, my transmission needed to be rebuilt 1 weeks they were understanding and got it done in a 1 week. Plus it's covered under a pretty good warranty. Phenomenal job all the way around. Very impressed with everything, from their customer service to replacing a clutch and emergency brake. In and out of there in a few days. They also showed me the part they replaced and throughly explained the work they did on my ride.

So I brought my 2011 Ford F-150 XLT that was showing symptoms of a faulty transmission. DAC was straight and forward with what could possibly be wrong and was transparent on the costs. By far the best treatment from any shop in the area I went to by miles! Instead of over charging me for something they let me know a cheaper fix and well TRUCKS RUNNING LIKE NEW!!!! Went to another Automobile shop in Killeen about my Corvette not shifting right, Two days later I called them back and could not get an straight answer from them. I decided to call DAC Transmissions, David answered the phone and gave me the right answers to my questions right away, took my Vette to him the same day, on a Friday. Next Wednesday I got a call from David telling me my Corvette was ready. THAT IS GOOD SERVICE!!!!I will bring my my vehicles to David, DAC Transmissions from now on if I need any service done, Engine Repair to Transmission work.Thank you, David for the good work.Service: Transmission

David and his wife are extremely friendly and talk to you like a person, David was up front on prices and didn't over charge like most shops would,DACs is not only just a transmission shop but they also work on engines and do exhaust.Highly recommend and will go back for all my transmission needs

After getting quoted ridiculous prices for rebuilding the transmission of my '04 Ford from a couple shops and the dealer for what I knew was a routine fix (including one that insisted the transmission be replaced, the family at DAC accurately diagnoses the problem and quoted a fair price for the work. They offered a one year warranty on the work and so far after a month the transmission has worked smoothly. I definitely recommend DAC transmissions for your vehicle. And they do offer more than just transmission repairs; they also do engine and general repairs, too.Service: Transmission

A++ service and very friendly and convenient staff i had transmission problems for 2017 gmc yukon xl that went out during ice storm and other shops in Killeen were so crazy with prices like $4k to $5k crazy, smh they gave me a complete rebuild with a 1 year warranty backing it up good business and good people with excellent prices I highly recommend have them!!!Service: Transmission
