They are absolutely amazing. They explain everything to you that way you know exactly is going on with your vehicle. There prices are unbeatable. Nice honest mechanic shop. I normally work on my own vehicles but recently encountered a problem that I couldn't fix. Reluctantly I started asking friends, reading reviews in search of the best shop. Car was fixed quicker than expected. The final bill was LESS than the estimate and that's why I recommend Chucks

Got referred by Take 5 on Bacon Ranch Rd. I didnt even know they were here. Honestly I was freaked out because of the price to check out my vehicle. But, they not only checked it and verified the problem. They tried a reset to see if it would help and gave me honest feedback. They gave me an estimate if I decided to let them do the work and fix my car and even aired up my tires. All for the same cost to check out my vehicle. I love an honest place where I didnt feel like they saw a woman walking in. Kenny was very helpful and explained each step and gave great recommendations. What an absolute pleasure.

my husband and i were having car problems back to back for a month straight. we thought we fixed my car but it ended up messing up again, so we took it to chuck s garage for a diagnostic. they found the issue and quite honestly they could ve been like the shady mechanics and told us there was so much wrong with it to get extra money, but they fixed the issue, it was just a loose belt, and didn t make us pay extra for doing it. i know a lot of mechanics can be shady and lie and over price stuff. i think if i had taken my car to a different place here in killeen, we would ve got scammed. chuck s garage was awesome, and we re definitely coming back for any other issues!!

Was terrified to let any one touch my familys antique vehicle . The team here made us feel comfortable leaving it in their hands . They were extremely delicate and used extra protection to keep the interior clean while working on it Repairs were speedy and fairly priced . Highly recommend

I came in earlier for a test to see what s wrong with my car once I received the report at 5:30 I called an asked could I come pick up the truck he said as long I make it by 6 I UBER to the shop an they were closed at 5:55 I m currently pregnant an don t have funds to Uber 3 times in one day to not have my vehicle if they were closing even slightly early he should have said that an I would have gladly waited until morning. Although I was livid he did rectify the situation. An gave me a credit I appreciate that.

The absolute easiest and most professional experience I ve ever had. Hassle free! Had an issue with our transmission in our 2011 Hyundai Tuscon. Best case scenario was just a sensor issue and had to have a new battery put in. Kind of thought that was the issue but wanted to make sure. Andrew and the guys took good care of us and had the car done in no time. We will definitely be back if anything else happens down the road on any of our vehicles! Thanks guys! Y'all replaced the flywheel and starter in my 65 Chevy pickup..charged me over $1100...the flywheel was put on backwards..the end result was the new starter chewed up the new flywheel..it's in another shop now..gonna cost me another $1300.. your business sucks!!!!!!

I don't normally make reviews but when it gets hot outside and I have my dogs and I can't put them in my car I let them work on my car before, this time I used my extended warranty to have my air conditioner fixed and they did nothing they did nothing they did nothing I took it back to them to say that my car was not running the air conditioner was running hot still doing the same thing it did when I brought it into them I guess they just laughed in my face cuz they they know I didn't know but when I turned the air on and I put my dogs in the car road to Austin they almost died Chuck's automotive talk me a lesson you're not for all the people just some of the people just certain people but not people like me my extended warranty is gone they were paid my air conditioner is still the same 2 years later I just wanted to vent and let people know if you are like me and look like me don't go there they don't give an f how dare they do that to me all I wanted was my air conditioner fixed, PS I don't want anyone to think I am lying my air conditioner has been broken since going to Chuck's it's been about two and a half years or so my car's air conditioner still does not work know why I can't afford it I want to fixed income meaning disability the payments I get art to live on my extended warranty was to cover anything on my car the extended warranty paid $700 to these people they just left in my face and sent me off twice I didn't go back because I already knew they weren't going to do anything had a rogue just looking to get it fixed that's what they were reputable but their attitudes I should have I felt it and I thought they were above board my air conditioner still does not work have to go back and forth for Cancer treatments I also have two large dogs they can't ride in my car and if I ride in my car all the windows have to be open in the summertime is summertime almost in the hurt feelings come back because I can't afford to get it fixed on my own terrible situation terrible situation be careful again for people who look like me and I'm sure you know what I'm talking about God bless I just wanted to be heard I didn't say anything I just want to be heard

This is a good company, had a mix-up with some things, and was not very satisfied but the shop did their best to make it right and was able to part ways better than before.

Chuck s garage fixed the starter and did an alignment(which was way overdue) of my 14 yr old vehicle and everything was done the next day. They also have tow service. The cost is cheaper than taking it to the dealer and it s worth it due to the promptness and quality of work. I can't recommend them enough. Their shop is clean, their crew knows what they're doing, prices are fair, and they're up front about the work they do on your vehicle. They even have the connections to order parts on the spot and get them in to fix your vehicle. If I run into any further vehicle issues, there's no doubt I'll be returning. My car feels brand new after their hard work and dedication to their craft.

Brought my 2008 HHR in for it being "slow to start", I just new I would end up on that customer states thing, but Andrew was kind and professional. They diagnosed my vehicle and then repaired it all with a few hours. I am very grateful and will bring my other vehicles to them. I recommend them highly. The price seemed fair for the service and speediness. I am a happy back driving my car customer. Thank You!!

WHAT A RIP OFF! To make this long story as short as possible, I called Chuck s Garage and told them I needed to have AAA tow my truck there to see what the problem was. I told them that the engine starts, but was riding rough and acting as if it was going to cut off. I thought maybe I put some bad gas in it. My second thought was, maybe I needed a major tune up (since it s been a while). I agreed to pay them $102 to find out what the problem was. So, after they start looking at the truck, Andrew calls me back and says the mechanic has an idea of what was wrong with it; but needed to do a different diagnosis for an additional fee. They should ve said this was a possibility from the beginning.He then told me that he believed it was a bad timing change/belt (or whatever you call it). He said the fee to do the second diagnostic was $600 (which was 6 hours labor). This second diagnostic was to check and see, but it wasn t guaranteed that this was actually the problem. When he gave me the cost of second fee, I immediately refused to pay it. Who has $600 to spend on a MAYBE diagnosis? If I agreed to do the diagnostic and that s not what the problem was, I would still owe $102 (for the first diagnostic to NOT tell me what the problem was) WHAT?? I would also owe $600 (for the second diagnostic). If I then agreed to do the second diagnostic, it would be $700 plus $2300 to fix the timing change/belt.Well, I m not rich! So I can t afford $700 on a hunch that may not even be the problem. When I told them what my truck was doing and why I needed to have it checked out, that should ve given them a general idea of the few things that could be wrong with it. If the guy had told me from the very beginning that if would possibly need a second diagnostic, I would ve refused the first diagnostic. I m not a mechanic, nor do I know anything at all about cars. So, how was I supposed to know they wouldn t find the problem (which is why I agreed to the diagnostic test in the first place)?I just wasted money and one of my AAA tows for absolutely NOTHING. I guess they have to keep the money coming in some kind of way. Yeah, it s $102, but that s money that could ve been used elsewhere. The truck is still not in running condition. So, I m back to square one. Thanks a lot!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Probably the smoothest experience I've ever had trying to get repairs done. My car was overheating and wouldn't hold coolant. I called Chuck's Garage around 8 am and dropped it off a little after that. Andrew was super nice. I usually feel intimidated when I go to auto shops but I felt very at ease. He even listened to me ramble about how I lost the radiator cap just the day before lol. I got the estimate within a couple of hours. I like that they do things electronically because everything was clearly explained by the tech on the document and I was able to approve the work needed easily online. My car ended up needing a replacement thermostat and a coolant exchange. I was able to pick up the car same day right after work. Seriously, extra points for same day service because I would have been screwed I didn't have transportation the following day.I will most likely keep going here for all maintenance and repairs for the rest of my time in Killeen.I didn't really know what to expect when it comes to pricing but my husband didn't complain and happily paid so it's probably pretty fair.Oh and the shop itself is nice as well. It's clean and has dope decor.

Had the opportunity to meet a new face on this visit he goes by the name Kenny. He has been great. Had work done on my SUV. Once again great fast work at a great price. I will never go anywhere else to get work done on my vehicles.

I can't say enough great things about my experience here! As a woman, who knows absolutely NOTHING about cars, i genuinely felt respected and valued from the moment i called to inquire about a service. The entire team was very friendly, professional and courteous but Andrew was the icing on the cake! He was able to diagnose my car and assist me throughout the entire process, from over the phone! This family owned business is the Jack of all trades! They towed my car, replaced my alternater, performed an oil change and quoted me on a list of services that i will need in the upcoming months all within 2 hours! For all the services rendered, it was very affordable! I have found my new Car service/maintenance home! I highly recommend this place 10 out of 10!!!Service: Auto maintenance

My 2011 Ford F-150 XLT needed a new starter. Chuck s Garage fixed my truck for just a little more than half of what the dealership was going to charge me!Great customer service and awesome mechanics. I had my truck towed to them and the repairs were completed the next day! I will be bringing all my vehicles here for repairs from now on.Service: Engine repair

Came in for clutch repair. Quick turnaround, good communication, was given reasonable expectations for turnaround, repair was done ahead of time. Was shown pictures of the damage to old clutch, which I thought was cool. Was given at itemized receipt which shows transparency and professionalism. Would go this place again for future repairs.Edit: I also want to note that the place looks clean, and well organized indoor and outdoors. Excellence in those minor details speaks volumes to me. Theoffice decorations + the entire customer service experience tells you these folks really love cars. Often at auto repair places make one feel talked down to, or like a snake oil salesman is trying pull a fast one, I never got that vibe here.
