I had to have my water pump replaced. They took my car in and had it ready in less than 24hrs!! They are very friendly, nice people, and they saved me a ton of money. I got a quote at the dealership, and they were charging double what Superior quoted.

So, coming into Kerville from San Antonio area two days ago, outside temp 104F, the engine temp rose and the alternator voltage dropped. Turning the steering wheel sharply became very hard too. Fan Belt came to mind. After a couple of stops and phone calls late in the day, we found superior automotive at near closing time, but they promised to get to us first thing in the morning. The fanbelt was delivered as we waited for our friends to arrive. We stayed overnight with friends and in the morning, got a call that in addition to the belt, the water pump was leaking. So, 3 hours later, and a reasonable bill paid, we resumed our trip home. Thanks guys.

Superior has worked on my vehicle on two different occasions. Each time they worked with my extended warranty. For parts and services not covered under my warranty, they were extremely fair in their pricing, quick turn around time to get me back on the road, and honest in what needed to be done. Highly recommend!

Extremely helpful! Got us in quickly for diagnosis which, sadly, was catastrophic. Worked with us as we navigated sale of the vehicle to a salvage business. Translated for us as we dealt with a tow truck driver whose English was only slightly better than our Spanish. We would definitely use them again.

You won't find a more knowledgeable technician in the hill country that will fix your vehicle an not just throw parts at it!! The Joseph is hands down one of the best mechanics I've ever met. Thanks for all your help!! The name says it all!!

Very knowledgeable and professional. I have taken my vehicle a few times for different maintenance issues and Amber always explains everything thoroughly! She's always smiling and welcoming, all great assets to have when you aren't having the best day with vehicle problems.And Joseph does excellent work and very reasonable pricing. They gave amazing service in a short amount of time. The beautiful lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind, and they did a great job of fixing me car. I needed something fixed on my car last minute so I could leave for the holidays and they were very fast about getting me in. I highly recommend going to this place!

AMBER is AMAZING. She listened to my back story on how my car ended up at the shop with open ears and patience. Joseph was so good at being able to figure what was wrong with my Volvo Xc60. An auto dealership is the most expensive place to get auto repairs, and the mechanics don't own the work the dealer does. That's why I go to independent auto repair shops. As long as they are ASE certified, their reputation gives them pride in their work and the repair. I have not used their services yet, I got an estimate on my old 2002 ford pick up. Will update after repairs are done.

My land rover range rover had a problem with the air suspension. I thought it was going to be a very expensive repair. Joseph did a diagnostics and found some error codes and once he cleared them it went up. He kept it for the weekend to be sure and thank God because I thought for sure it was going to be $2000 job. Dropped off my car on a Monday to get inspected and replace power steering pump. They didn't work on it for 2 days, finally got it back on Thursday. Friday I went to get my registration renewal, stood in line for 45 mins. It did not show I got my car inspected. Call while I was there to get them to fix it. The guy with the code left for the day so now I have to wait till Monday. I took my car there one other time same thing, it took 3 days. I had to practically start crying to make them understand I needed my car. Apparently they don't seem to care about timeliness. Beware before taking your car. I do not recommend them at all.

These people are awesome!! They currently have one of my trucks in there awaiting a lift kit. I brought in my work truck that was in bad shape and they immediately took care of me to get me back on the road while we wait for the parts to show up for my other truck. Thank you Superior!!! I was traveling through from Temple, TX to Utah. Made a fuel stop in Kerrville and happened to notice the cover to the fuel tank on my 2000 RAV4 was hanging down, ready to fall off. Thought it would be a case where I could just get the nearest auto shop to totally remove it and I would just be on my merry way. Went to three shops and no one would touch it, because it turned out the bracket that held up the fuel tank had rusted off as well. They all referred me to Joseph at Superior Automotive. So glad I eventually ended up there because he was really cool (turned out we had a Lao connection) and did an awesome job to get me back on the road. (He was super busy, too!) I was so worried the repair was going to end up costing me an arm and a leg, but Joseph was more than reasonable, especially for how he helped me. (Amber in the office was really cool, too.)

The people are nice. But I don't know about their service. I have been waiting for a part for my car for 3 months. They say it will be here soon , we will call you. But still no call. So I go there. They still don't have part. They will call. Huh, when?Update: Come to find out, Del Rio motors was suppose to get the part, and they are the ones to blame. They never ordered it. They are who sent me to Superior Automotive.I want to say thank you to Mr Pena for doing what he could to Help me, get my car back on the road after it quit working right.

I have taken multiple vehicles, both work and personal, to be repaired. It s been nice that every repair has addressed the problem without having to be taken back multiple times for the same reason. On top of that the prices that I ve been paying are far less than what I ve been used to paying. I have sent all my friends and they have said the EXACT SAME THING!!!!

Heard about these guys from a friend that has taken a couple suburbans and a hunting truck there for everything from needing new camshafts and lifters to electrical issues and front end repair. I got a quote from the dealership to fix my Mercedes at $750-$1700+. Another mechanic in town said they didn t have the tools to get inside my motor . Took it to these guys and got it fixed for $350 and was only without my car for a few hours! Very professional yet small town family like.Will pass on the recommendation!
