I ve been Royals customer for over 15 years, even when he was a Young mechanic across town, because of his integrity and dedication to doing things the right way, as a professional. He is always stood behind his work, and has been a man of his word. I had another great experience, this time with custom exhaust work. And I ll be back for next time.

Royals automotive is amazing. Royal is a genius with Suburbans and has done awesome work on my Ford escape. I have been a customer I would say for 10 years. And my Dad was his customer for a while also. They are very friendly and family oriented. I highly recommend them.

I took my 1965 Thunderbird into Royals for engine work, and they did not disappoint! The car is running fantastic, and I am grateful that Royal was so thorough in determining what the issues were. Communication was great and very friendly service!

Royals was very professional I took my car in for an oil leak and they called me frequently to let me know what was going on with my car and what they were finding and always asked me before they started working on something and were very nice and professional and very trustworthy and the prices were very decent in my opinion and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know ! Thank you!

My Toyota Sienna blewIt's engine on my way home to Arizona from Houston Tx leaving us stranded, we were towed to Royal's shop luckily he was able to get a almost new engine along with other parts needed to get this car going again, long story short, he did such an awesome job. It actually runs better then ever before so very happy with his expertise we highly recommend Royal Automotive and very professional staff honest and trustworthy to say the least..

Felt gauged. Charged $560 to replace a starter in a 94 S-10 (a 45 minute job). Tried to tack on a $60 inspection fee which I never requested (eventually dropped). When I asked how a 45 minute job was so expensive, the manager told me that they had to pay thousands of dollars for tools (implying that this expense is passed on to the customer). Personally, I never charged my customers for the tools I acquired for remodeling their homes. Charged $258 for a starter (a new one is $109 at Auto Zone). Charged $176 for labor on a 45 minute job. There was also a $15 Materials and Supplies which is also a mystery. For good measure, the vehicle was also muddy and the steering wheel was filthy when I received the vehicle. Needless to say, I will avoid this shop in the future. I felt like they looked for opportunities to tack on junk fees to pad the job.

My 2nd time using Royal Automotive. The first time a full exhaust system replace and today they repaired my driver side window stuck in the down position. Both times a superb job at a fair price.

Most dependable shop. Short on employees at times but these people work their butts off on every job they do. Never had an issue. Always fair on price.

I've been taking my vehicle and my wife's to Royal for several years and we've always been very happy with the work. Royal and his guys are good at what they do, they're honest, and they've never tried to sell me something I didn't need (but he does let me know what my options are.) On top of all that, he's priced very reasonably. I recommend Royal to anyone that asks me what shop I take my truck to.

Royal has always been really honest with me and tells me upfront about the work he is going to do. I have never had a problem with anything he has done. Rebuilt the engine in my wife's car and it runs like new. Highly recommend.

Traveling with our RV through Texas we had EGR issues on our Ram 2500 diesel truck. We called Royal and they got us in quickly and got the issue fixed on New Year s Eve. Thank you guys for your service and keeping us rolling.

If I could leave zero stars I would, this guy had my truck in his lot for over a year with grass growing in the bed of it covered in dirt and dust, had not worked on it a single bit then when I came in to ask him what was up he asked me if I wanted to drive to San Antonio to the junkyard to find a wiring harness for the truck, hello Y'all are supposed to be the mechanics I am the customer anyways, I would not recommend this to anyone this man has almost ran several people off the road I know of as well.
