They let you know upfront what the problem is and they do a great job. My wife's car was repaired and finished in no time. Very happy with the work they do. Friendly and very helpful. We took her car there 3 different times for different issues, this is are new repair shop for now on.(Kennedale shop)Thank you for being honest and helpful.

Took my sports car in after an accident and they fixed it all faster than I expected, even though my parts are hard to find. They gave me updates along the way. They did not overcharge me and they returned my car looking brand new. Shawn was amazing - he was professional and gave me info on everything that they did. He even offered to show me the parts that they removed and what was broken. I will always be taking my car back here. These guys have the best service I have ever had at an auto repair shop! My car overheated on my way home from work! Called them up and they sent a tow truck to pick me up within 30 minutes of calling! AND THEN the manager Ken had one of his guys give me a ride home. Can you believe that!? You don't get service like that any where anymore.The next day I was at an eye doctor appointment when they called to tell me my car was repaired and ready to go. I told them I had to find a way there. Once again Ken sent one of his guys to pick me up so I can get my car! All at a fair price. And on top of all that great service, the guys gave me some great places to get BBQ because I am new to the city. Like I said before, Great Service!

I brought in my Jaguar to replace the engine. As well as several other parts including the radiator. They did a great job and it runs fantastic now. I recently discovered a small coolant leak. The item was covered under the warranty from the radiator. They fixed it very quickly. Very honest company. I also recently took my Honda into the dealer. The dealer told me it would require about $800 in repairs for bushings and brakes. I took my Honda to My Mechanic for a second opinion and they showed me that I did't need either of those repairs. They could have easily gone along with the dealer's statements and made a quick buck. But they were honest! Highly recommend!

Friendly knowledgeable service. Diagnosed my issue but had trouble getting the part (which I can't blame on them). They kept me informed and were flexible in getting me in once the part was available. Great experience.

I had a family member s engine throw a rod in their car. After calling around, I found My Mechanic's prices and guaranties to be better. Delivery of the engine was quick and as described. The process of the core return was smooth. The engine is in the car and operating as promised. I recommend these guys to anyone!

We took our Odyssey there about 2mo ago after a REALLY bad experience w/another place. Ryan was up front w/an estimate and stood by their work. He cautioned us the transmission may have a leak if a seal didn't pinch right during repairs and when one did show up, they took care of it right away. No problem. We appreciated their honesty and our van runs great. I would recommend them!

My car was running uneven (check engine light came on and engine was misfiring), so I stopped by at My Mechanic. I had never been there before, but I had visited a couple other shops in the area.I got great service, they changed my spark plugs and wires (which fixed the problem) as well as did an oil change for me. All costs were quoted upfront, and the owner explained everything to me in detail. I have not felt this comfortable at an auto repair shop in a long time.I was also quoted on some future work that I need to my car, and I will not hesitate to bring my car here again. Absolutely great service! I would recommend My Mechanic to anyone in the DFW area who want a good auto mechanic to a fair price.MyMechanic also work with the surrounding car repair places, I was told. One of the future jobs I need involves the exhaust system/muffler (damaged when I was rear-ended and not fixed/noticed by insurance company). My Mechanic told me they don't have the equipment to do that job, but that they work with the muffler shop next-door, and will outsource the job to them, without charging any markup.While I was waiting for my car, another customer came by. He was having his transmission rebuilt, and he came all the way from the other side of Dallas, to have My Mechanic do the job. To me, this shows that My Mechanic is a good place to take your car.

I trust them COMPLETELY!! Another shop said that my vehicle needed really expensive repairs... I took it to Jerry at Big Red and after they looked at it- it ended up being something very simple! They do a great job!!

Professional, courteous, and knowledgable! Big Reds went through my car with a fine tooth comb and told me everything it needed and didn't need. The car was finished when promised and their prices are reasonable. Cannot say enough good things... bringing uncle's truck, then mom's car, then aunts car next... THANK YOU!!!

I took a friend's 1996 Thunderbird in because she was told it needed a new head gasket. I was quoted a price of $1300.00, which was pretty good for a V8 engine. After Harry did several hours of testing and diagnostics, he said that the head gaskets were fine and did not need to be replaced. All of this was at no charge! I am very pleased with the honesty and integrity of this shop. I will continue to use them.

This business is run by very knowledgeable, and down to earth staff. They understand vehicles, and what they need. They are more than capable, and experienced. They know how to work with you, and your circumstances. I took my 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT to My Mechanic Automotive Repair to have the original 2.8 Liter V6 motor replaced with a new 3.8 Liter Super Charged V6 Hybrid motor. Though this was a "Custom Installation", the mechanics at My Mechanic knew exactly what to do and how to do it and they did an excellent job. This was not an easy job by no means but it was done in a very skillful and professional manner. I must add, also, that the Owner and his Mechanics are one of the most honest, friendly, and professional people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I am very particular about who I have work on my prized Fiero and I will always bring it back to My Mechanic because I trust their work.

For several months I had taken my car to different mechanics due to my check engine light being on and told my catalytic converters (my car has two lucky me) was out. Now that it is April it had to be inspected by the end of this month and I was really stressing. I took my car to an automotive place that charged me a hundred bucks to computer diagnose my car and would not apply the cost to the repairs (which I have never heard of someone doing- just the opposite). I was told I needed an O-ring to the intake manifold tuning valve replaced, all spark plugs replaced, and a premium fuel injection service and engine de carb. (I am quoting from the estimate slip) Total cost for the repairs? Over $800 including the diagnosis. I left in tears knowing I only had one shot at fixing the issue and getting my car inspected and I knew I could NOT afford that price after being quoted a lesser price for the original diagnosis of the converters.When I got home, my cousin gave me a card for My Mechanic. I called Ken and told him my horror story. He immediately told me never should a good mechanic charge you to diagnose and quote you repair costs. He said, "Shelley, a good mechanic will never do this to you." He said to bring my car in and he would have Harry look at it and we would find out what was going on.Today day I did just that. I patiently waited for Harry to check over my car while I sat talking to Ken and another nice gentleman and he came in with his findings. I held my breath. He told me I didn't need an O-Ring replacement. I had a leak in a pvc valve and he DID recommend I replace the spark plugs because the codes coming back (which I have seen so many times because Ive had the car scanned so many times now) as random misfire. (different ones misfiring at different times) He never once told me my catalytic converters needed replacing. He explained everything very plainly and treated me with the utmost respect. Ken gave me a quote..... and a break : ) ...... and made a customer for life. The price for the repairs? About a third of what the other place wanted to charge me.*Note: I will never put my name on something that was not true. So when I give this review for this company you can rest assured that when I say these gentleman are knowledgeable, honest, and ethical? It is Bible truth. As a single woman, I feel very confident walking in to this shop knowing that I will be taken care of as if I were one of these guys family. Thank you Ken for your kindness. And thank you Harry you are a rockstar! (guy in the big white truck that was there for repairs too...... Call me lol)*I debated on whether or not to tell this part because I did not want people to think they could take advantage of this good man but I have to believe I am telling it for a good reason.) Sitting in this man's shop today I was given a gift. I sat talking to the owner and a gentleman getting repairs. When the repairs were finished with his truck he asked to speak to Ken in the garage then he paid and left. I started talking to Ken about the costs to repair my car and he told me the man who just left had paid for my parts and he was going to take care of the labor. I immediately went in to the "ugly cry". NO ONE had ever been so kind to me. Little did they know that to pay for these repairs I was going to have to empty my checking and savings accounts plus max out a credit card to be able to pay for the repairs. (They did not know this prior) I had no idea how I was going to pay my bills or buy groceries. I believe I was lead to this place for a reason today and I will pay their kindness forward for years to come. I hope me telling this part of my experience was ok Ken. I just couldn't not tell the world what an amazing person you are and the restoration of faith in people you brought back to me today. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Give that little baby a hug for me.

I was at Steak and Shake and overheard a couple of guys talking on Automotive I had to get my car inspected so I asked the question they told me about Reds was fantastic!! Seriously I just want to get my car inspected but that's now my auto place. knowledgeable helpful nice people I'll be back!!

I went to my mechanic for repairs on my car. they screwed up my car very bad. I am a Vet and Kenneth Alvin Wright did not CARE. If I were you I would not go their to used the John. If he screwed me over he will screw you OVER also BEWARE OF MY Mechanic unless you like given your hard earn MONEY away. I had to take my car some were else to have the repairs done right. So give your money to someone who is going to respect you and Treat You RIGHT.If You want honest people working on your car that stand behind their warranty go some place else. They Screw Me A Vet and They Will Screw you TOO!

We have been going to the shop for almost 3yrs. This is the first time I would say I was very disappointed with the service. I took my car up to the shop for a check engine light, and the mechanic came out after jacking my car up say "wow, you have a big gas leak, do you smell it?" The mechanic start giving me prices, but I did not have the money now. So, I take my car home and put it in the garage. My kids start saying they smell gas. So I am checking the entire house, and look in the garage. Flamed up with fumes and I have a puddle of gas now under the car. Ummmmm. I am not a mechanic, but if I didn't have a leak before the shop looked at it, and now I do, TAMPER............i LOOKED UNDER THE CAR AND THE HOSE CONNECTED TO THE GAS TANK WAS SLIDE BACK. I TOOK IT TO ANOTHER SHOP TO LOOK AT IT AND WAS TOLD THE HOSE WAS SLIDE BACK ALSO AND TIGHTEN BACK UP. SO NOW I'M THINKING, WOW, THE SHOP MAKE ALOT OF MONEY, THE MANAGER IS GREAT BUT THE MECHANIC, I WOULD NOT TRUST . WOULD I EVER GO BACK? NO UNLESS THE MANAGER GET TRUSTWORTHY MECHANICS. IF YOU TAKE YOUR CAR HERE, YOU MAY WANT TO STAY AND WATCH IT.
