I needed an oil change and transmission fluid change, so checking out places around me, I found Valvoline instant oil change store amount others. But since this one was the closest, it would be the most convenient to go to. But checking out the reviews on the other places further out and comparing them to this place I found that there are some incredibly petty people out there that lack either bigger issues in their own lives to bully a buisness or they are just to poor to purchase basic windshield wipers. You would think that if you had an issue with windshield wipers being a state safety law, you would contact the state instead of attacking a business over $50 issue. Maybe these people are financially unstable. To each their own, I suppose. Regardless, those reviews are petty.If you skip over those few ignorant reviews and actually come here... I've found that first pulling up was fairly easy. Clean, no garbage on the ground, and signs on the outside look new and taken care of. An associate came out to inquire what I needed today and guided me to the right bay even though I was 3 cars back they took the time to come and talk to me which was kind because they were very busy today (Saturday. ) Most places I've gone to just wait until you come up to the bay so I find that little bit really shows they are keeping a good watch on us customers to keep things moving while hopefully providing a great expand service. I am about to pull in the bay...Workers help each other when driving a customer's car out of the bay, which is very professional. I don't often see that anywhere, I usually just see them drive out by themselves. This ensures a greater safety check than most. Also saw them assisting customers leaving in their own vehicles by safely guiding them out of the bay.Pulling up to the bay is a fairly standard procedure..pull up and guided by an associate. In this case, it is Jakeb.Scanned the number on my door. Asked my first and last name.I had to use the restroom while they started changing the full synthetic and transmission oil as well. Not only did Jakeb walk to safely to the restroom waiting area safely, but he hollered out that a customer was on the floor so everyone was aware. He stated I was welcome to stay in the waiting area and is cooler while they maintain my vehicle (considering I'm not just getting an oil change). All associates are in matching shirts and shorts.Some notes while I was in the waiting area: Trash needed to be taken out in the restroom and waiting area, some celing work needs to be done in the restroom from what looks like a water leak at some point. It would be nicer and more professional to have the soap dispenser changed instead of just using a dawn soap bottle, but hey, I'm just nit picking here. (Constructive criticism. ) Lastly, the grip strips need changing in the lobby and probably put some going to the main door as well would be appropriate. The waiting area is cool but not cold, which is nice to not be freezing. Other than that, standard lobby with windshield wiper selections... posters. Nothing note worthy.When Jakeb came back to get me, he needed me to turn the engine on so they could do their checks. I watched them, and they actually didn't use oil from a pump they actually used it from the bottles, which is reassuring that they used quality oil. We cashed out, and they guided me out without a hitch. They even showed me my oil level which...I don't ever remember any place doing that! Wow!I felt like I got my money's worth here. I will be coming back.

At the Keller location, Tristan, Corbin and Preston did an absolutely fantastic job. They were friendly, informative and honest. They took great care of us and we were in and out very quickly. I will definitely be going back to them specifically.

Waiting and waiting for them to open..Hours of operation say they open at 8am. I m here in line behind 3 cars.. it s now almost 8:30am and it s still dark inside the building with no sign that they ll be opening any time soon. I expected more from a reputable franchise in a nice city. Taking my business elsewhere.

Do NOT suggest coming here. They do NOT check things like they shoulD / Promise AND are a CORPORATE store. RUDE Asst Mgr and continues to push add-ons even when you say No. There s a way to upsell but this guy doesn t know it.We won t be coming back - they overcharge and undeliver!

Amazing place!! We needed help immediately (tried to change on our own - gone wrong) and they were so kind, quick, and did the job well! Zech, the manager was very helpful and they took great care of us in a great affordable range! Cannot recommend more!!

I've been a loyal customer to this particular location for a while now. We bring in several vehicles for service, mostly oil changes.I had my toyota sequoia serviced early this week, they also did a transmission fluid service and replaced the air filter.When I arrived it wasn't extremely busy but steady. They had 3-4 techs on hand, but seemed a little more chaotic than usual, one tech working on several cars at the same time, jumping from car to car. Normally seems a bit more undercontrol. Long story short, they knocked out/pulled out the hardness to one of the light bulbs to the headlights while replacing the air filter, and now it will not stay or click in place as it should.They did not put the transmission dipstick back in place, it was left on top of the radiator, where they had placed it while servicing the transmission fluid. luckily I checked everything when I got home to double check all levels of oils and fluids, and found it laying there. Thank God it did not fall on the ride home. And lastly they did not check tire pressure as I asked them to.Overall it was a poor poor job, and not the standard good service I normally get and would expect.

I've been a customer of Valvoline for years. While getting an oil change, they recommended a new battery. I purchased one. A month later, my car wouldn't start, got it jumped, and headed to Valvoline to get it replaced via warranty. The tech. checked it and said "yes it's bad, but it isn't meeting the level for us to replace." They apologized but wouldn't replace. Welp, after getting stranded at a store, here I am at O'Reilly purchasing a new battery becuaed Valvoline wouldn't honor their warranty. Luckily, it happened to me and not my wife or daughter. Thanks for nothing, Valvoline. I will be taking our 4 vehicles elsewhere.

Been to this location a few times. We have several vehicles that have been serviced here. A tech tried to tell me I needed something replaced and he could do it right then for a fee. I knew that I did not need it replaced.. A manager came out and asked me what my problem was. He said he has 5 years of experience and he agreed it needed to be replaced right then. I told him it did not. He said I had 2 choices, replace it or leave.I chose to leave and went to another establishment that verified it did not need to be replaced and warned me of places trying to make an extra few bucks for their techs. Beware of this place.

My experience here was nothing short of impressive. The shop is clean and the crew is professional and caring. I didn't expect this level of politeness, professionalism and certainly not the genuine care and concern I received. Not only for me but also for my currently stressed financial situation. The manager Zech I believe was outstanding. Leading the way with courtesy as he gave guidance to his alert and willing crew members. Ian was exceptional as clearly they focus heavily on customer satisfaction. I'm not making this up ppl, this place is special and I can't wait to bring my other vehicles to our new automotive home. They even applied coupons on top of the discount. It was a real value. Thank you Valvoline Keller. Really awesome job. And my truck that has over 344,990 miles with completely black colored transmission fluid is running better than ever. 6 Stars

I was disappointed with this one. I am a good customer of VIOC in Kentucky. We always get great service. In this case we were on a road trip and needed an oil change. Pulled in and was told it would be an hour wait. It was a 4 bay facility, but they only had two bays open on a Saturday morning. After about 30 minutes they did open a third bay and got me in finally. Staff was friendly, but maybe they were understaffed for a Saturday. Once in, got the same service as expected and they did give me a $12 discount.

On the days I don t feel like changing my own oil, I always go to Valvoline. They are fast and efficient, and I love being able to sit in my own car while they change the oil. I get to see that the work is actually getting done, and they always show me the dipstick when they are done to confirm that the oil level is correct. The wait times are not usually too bad either, because they are efficient and get people in and out. I think I was in and out in under 20 minutes. And if you download the app, there are always coupons available to save you some money. Definitely the best oil change experience around.

I got a full synthetic oil change here and it was fast and easy. However....single ladies be warned...this dude told me I needed to come in 3k miles or 3mo (whichever comes first) and get another oil change. I'm no mechanic, but that sounded wrong and I asked him about it. This guy told me that their oil was different and I needed to change it more frequently. Huh. I said okay and drove away but you better believe I will NOT be back that soon. I'll still come back tho, just wait longer. The maintenance schedule on my car according to the manufacturer is longer than 3k miles or 3mo, so I'm not just being stubborn.

They messed up skid plate 2 times had to throw it way. Always forget to put it back right. Ended up dragging and got folded up

AVIOD THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!They do not handle your vehicles with care!Not only did they crack my husbands oil filter but they broke his valve cover breather. We will be contacting this place, stay tune for an update.

Came for an oil change and figured I d ask them to put air in my tires as well (as my tire pressure light had been on for a couple months). They said okay to airing up my tires, and shortly after said I was good to go. I was surprised they aired the tires so quickly. However, tire pressure light didn t turn off. Fast forward 3 weeks later (today) I noticed my back tire is FLAT. Thank God I m close to home! 0 stars!!!!Service: Oil change

Terrible experience. Yesterday, I went and had an oil change and state inspection done. After, I go to the grocery store to pay for my registration. The employee told me it is not coming up in the system so I called the Valvoline location. The employee said, "oh, did you get out of your car during the inspection?" I reply no... he says "oh well you should have. Your car was never plugged in so was never inspected". He said us just honking my horn, doing the blinkers were only the safety parts of the inspection. Anyway, he said I'd need to come back. I told him this was unacceptable now that ive already paid, waited for them, waited at the grocery store, now have to come back to them again. His response was, "ok?" Like it did not matter or was not a big deal to him. So unapologetic. I asked to speak to a manager and his response was, ok Ill take your number and he "might" call you back. I waited two hours, called back and was told by customer service to just wait until tomorrow. Well, now here it is past noon the next day and no return call. I guess this place is ok for charging people for services, not actually doing the service, and showing not a care in the world by not following up with the customer. I hope I find a way to get my money back. Avoid this place unless you want to pay for things you do not receive and want a staff that does not care at all.

Do not go there for state inspection, their plan is to fail so you can purchase items, we used to go there every year but this past Sunday they have a new crew I guess and after waiting for 45 min they threatened to fail me unless I purchase new windshield wipers for my 2022 car the so called owner was extremely rude and told my husband to get out when he was telling him there is nothing wrong with the wipers. Worst place ever and I am telling everyone I know!!

Won't be back to this location. They asked to check tire pressures and then didnt put tire caps back on, and then put the wrong mileage on my sticker and receipt so now I can't submit it to my warranty company to prove my oil changes so my warranty isn't voided. If they can't do simple tasks like put tire caps on why go for anything else? Pretty scary this guy is working on cars.

This place used to be great for oil changes and inspections. In and out. Now you wait in your car for over an hour and no one comes out to see how they can help. There is no order to who gets lined up or how. People come from the wrong side of the building and jump the long line. I will find somewhere else to get my mini fleet serviced.

I just took one of my cars in to get an oil change here and they were awesome. Zoe was super sweet greeting me and getting information from me and James was a real gem during the process super personable and helpful.I just came back to get my other vehicle serviced as well and crew members that didn t even work with me remembered me.Ended up loving these people after 15 minutes during the oil change

2 years in a row, I went there for inspection and oil change. Each time, it took multiple trips to have the inspector there. Last year, they broke my air cleaner clap. Called home office....told sorry...that is it... Gave them a 2nd chance this week...Each time, the staff is moving very slow. This time, they are training a young woman, and letting her do all the work. I was told 20 min wait, after 45 mins, they were still working on the same vehicle in front of me. Talking them into more items. I will never go there again....Services: Battery, Oil change

First off the Valvoline staff on 377 highway in Keller,TX is very nice and professional; however, I will never go there again. On at least 5 instances there have been issues. Either the inspection machine is down or offline or they can t do a tire rotation or their system is down so they can only accept cash. The last time I complained I got a 50 percent off coupon, which was great and got my oil changed, but just went in today and of course the state inspection system was down again. I am a 14 year customer, but never again.Service: Oil change

Reply back to owner's remark- this wasn't a inspection machine problem at the Keller location. There was no one to do the inspection. It was a staffing issue with no one at Valvoline authorized to do the inspection during business hours.Original Review:I usually get my state inspections and oil change done at this Valvoline location in Keller, Texas. I get several different vehicles done here throughout the year. I receive coupons which helps so I made plans to go there passing several similar businesses on the way.I get there and they were not busy so I'm thinking cool it won't take that long. The employee comes out and tells me the person that does the inspection isn't there.I'm thinking you basically do two things which is inspection and oil changes so you can only do oil changes and I just wasted my time.He tells me I might be able to get an inspection at 3 other Valvoline locations, but don't go to a 4th location because their inspection machine was broke.So I drive to the next Valvoline driving back the way I came, passing my house and driving the opposite direction to go to another location on North Beach.I get there and they are not busy either, but I have past this location many times and I've never seen them that busy.So they employee comes out and when I tell him I need an inspection and oil change, he tells me his inspection machine is broke.OMG! I wasted my time and gas and still don't have the inspection I needed. That's 3 locations down and I wasn't going to another Valvoline. I'm done!The coupon is worthless if I can't use it. Valvoline is useless if I can't get services there. Obviously, there is an underlying company issue with maintenance and scheduling.Now I see Valvoline as unreliable so there is not any reason to continue to give them my business.I drove down the road and stopped at the first inspection place I ran across which was Take 5. They had an employee to do an inspection and they had a working inspection machine. What a great concept! I only got the inspection done because I ran out of time with all the wasted trips to Valvoline and that was my main objective.I'll get my oil change later. It was not really due for it but I thought I would just get them done at the same time. One thing I do know is that I won't be getting it done at Valvoline!
