Went in for a simple oil change. The next morning I had a bunch of alerts going off on my car. Coincidence....? Maybe.Took it back in and they recommended $850 to fix.

I went to get an oil change and stood there for about 10 minutes and NO ONE came to even say we ll be with you soon. Nothing. Called to the one a little further down on Keller Pkwy and had someone meet me outside and hold my door open for me. Much better service for being just a couple more minutes down the road. Will NEVER come back to this Kwik Kar.

An experienced mechanic that runs the shop (didn't get his name) took care of my pickup requiring shocks to be installed but also modified to work. He confidently took on the job, made it work without issues and I'm back on the road safely driving in less than 2 hours. All 4 shocks installed. Cannot say anything negative about him and his tall worker. Great job and the price was lower than he quoted and much less than other shops that couldn't even do the job. Thank you!

Was not Kwik at all. Went in for an oil change, they pulled the car right into the bay and it took over an hour. Only comments from them is the air filter was getting dirty, so no extra work performed or needed.

Good and convenient location. They are always very friendly and helpful any time I ve come in. They aren t speedy but seem thorough so that s a good trade off to me. Prices are average for the industry. Waiting area has good seating with coffee and water provided. Restroom was clean and up kept.

Have 4 cars to maintain - can always depend on an honest and good analysis of the issues with reasonable estimates of costs. Would highly recommend this business.

Took 3 hours for an oil change and inspection. When I arrived, there were no cars in the bays and was hopeful that I would be in and out quickly. I had my proof of insurance ready, and handed it to the technician, stating that I needed an oil change and inspection. The technician recommended extra maintenance services which I accepted. I understand that extra services require extra time, but nothing should have taken that long. At 2.5 hours he said the car was ready- I paid and upon looking at my receipt, I noticed that the inspection I asked for was not on there. I asked if he did the inspection and he said he had not. My car had to be pulled back around and put in line behind other cars. No apologies or discount was offered for the long wait or having to go back and do the inspection. We will not be back.

I had work performed on my car. Workers forget to put plastic cover over battery. I went back to have the missing part put back on. They couldn t find the part wasn t willing to replace the part. My suggestion is to stay clear of this Kwik Kar if you are thinking about getting service done. Workers and owner are both trash, don t waste your time and money.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

My wife and I have used this store for oil changes and inspections for a couple of years. Though both cars have always passed inspection, this year the tech failed both of them due to illegal window tint. Last year - pass; this year - fail. After failing, we took both cars to another oil change store and both passed easily. Note that this shop still charged us $25 each because they completed the entire inspection before they told us the cars failed. If a car drives in with marginally dark tinted windows, couldn't the tech give the customer a heads up (maybe check the tint first)? That way, the customer's not out $25. For those who have tinted windows - beware. Note that this store is located right around the corner from where we live. As convenient as that is, however, we won't be returning for any kind of service.

Similar to other reviews here. Waited an hour and 15 minutes for an oil change and had to inform them I had an appointment and would just need to leave and come back another time. Multiple people came and went, but mine wasn t moving. They then brought in my oil filter cap and said it was broken in half and I would have to leave my car all weekend. They blamed it on previous oil change which was them! Charged twice as much as I normally pay. I had to run out and asked them to send the receipt via email. I called and asked again for the receipt. They said they couldn t give it to me because they already tried and I wouldn t pay attention. Then wouldn t explain the charges. Never again.Service: Oil change

My tire went flat on my way home from dropping off my kids at school. I was in my pajamas. I had no purse with me. Luckily I was close to Kwik Kar when it happened. While I was outside looking at the tire Mason came up to me and asked if he could help. He changed my tire very quickly and had me on my way. Thank you for helping Kwik Kar. I would like to highlight a member of Kwik Kar at the Golden Triangle location. Chase, is the best technician at that location. His technical knowledge and exceptional customer service is what sets him apart from his colleagues there. Chase will go above and beyond to provide great customer service, which is missing these days at most businesses. He is the reason I keep returning. He s a veteran and it shows. Use to love taking the car here for repairs and inspection, but they hired a new mechanic that absolutely is horrific, I'll never take the car here after Imy experience with the new mechanic. Inspection on the top windshield has to be within 75 percent, which it does. Told the guy to prove it, he tells me he doesn't have to prove nothing. He needs to go or this business will suffer

While I didn t appreciate the fact that they weren t all wearing masks (the guy that was checking people out wasn t wearing one), I did have a good experience with another person there. He was very attentive and through. He even told me I was early on my oil change and I didn t need the service done yet. (So not pushy). When I explained I was taking the car on a long road trip, he checked all the tires, and the car for anything that might become an issue. When I asked some questions about any other services my car may need soon, he explained in detail, even though they seemed really busy. This made me feel like he cared and definitely makes me feel like I was in the right place. Your car is definitely in good hands here.

Pathetic service !!Waited 45 min for an oil change , tech brought car around after being in the bay 20 min to say they can t get an oil filterMind you I just had my truck detailed !! Arm prints and hand prints all over fenders and hood I asked the tech why wouldn t you clean this off or use fender covers ? He just stared at me. Furthermore they reset my oil life and didn t change the oilWhen I got there cars were lined up and to say the least this place is mismanaged !! 4 oil change bays and one car pulled in. 4 techs standing around talking. 2 customers left because they had no idea who was next and pulled new people in front of existing peopleWalls show awards from /014 and 2015. Didn t see anything new. And I know why. Wouldn t take my worst enemies car there. The manager is blind to efficiencies they can t be making money !!! AWFUL AND DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go to Christian Brother s Automotive instead!!I called in advance on 11/2/2020 to check wait time for oil change and inspection. They said 0 minutes and had 3 bays open. LIES. Got up there like 15 minutes later only to see it is PACKED. It took a moment for someone to finally help me. He told me it would be an hour. Did not take any of my information down except my key and my insurance for the inspection. I asked if I could leave my number for them to call me when it was done and he just pointed to a sign in sheet and walked away. I left and came back 2 hours later, assuming it would be done. No one was at desk to help me. I got impatient and happened to turn around to see one of the workers climbing into my car to get it into a bay. I had a doctor s appointment I had to get to and couldn t stay any longer. I m pretty sure they saw me waiting at the front desk, and instead of coming to help me, realized they forgot about my car and tried to get it started before I could say no. I immediately ran outside to flag him down and said it s been 2 hours already and I have to go. He jumped out and gave me keys (I was a little shocked he handed me the keys without confirming I was the owner) and told me to pull to the front so he could give me my inspection paper back. Instead of saying sorry we didn t get to you (which I would have totally understood and would not be writing this negative review) he sassily said Come back and see us when you have you have more time. Seriously? They initially told me it was 0 minutes, which turned into 1 hour, which turned into 2 hours and still hadn t even started. So unprofessional from start to finish!!Went to CBA instead and was immediately, and professionally, helped and in and out in no time for cheap!

I went here because my car was leaking. I had previously went to a Kwik Kar a week before and paid $300 to fix it. I came here and the mechanic cut me off multiple times while I was asking him if he was sure it was fixed, because it ended up costing me $500 at this Kwik Kar in Golden Triangle. The mechanic was very rude and my car still continued to leak the very next door and didn t stop. I don t recommend coming here. I work hard and it s stressful to have thrown my money away and the issue still not be fixed.

Went in for an oil change with a coupon. They did the oil change but charged me twice what was expected and of course refused the coupon. When I asked why it was so much, I was informed that my vehicle required synthetic oil and 6 quarts was an extra fee. When I asked how much it was per quart, the employee couldn't tell me. I paid reluctantly only later to find out my vehicle does NOT require synthetic and only hold 5 quarts (less actually). Very shady and unprofessional to lie to boost sales and take advantage of your customers. I will never return and warn all my friends and family in this area not to go here.Service: Oil change

Man, these guys have it together. The last time I pulled up, they had my account referenced from my license plate and my car in the bay before I made it into the office. My name was on their monitor as I approached the desk and their prices are more than reasonable. My service took 15 minutes start to finish on a Friday morning. As a bonus, I've also caught glimpses of a shop dog in the past. Shop owners who have their critters around are owners of clean, safe shops. Can't beat that.

Went for an oil change. Staff was very nice as well as the customers who were in the waiting area. They got to my car quickly and made sure to double check with me on the price since my car takes 7qts instead of 5. They also checked my tire air pressure and wiped my windshields which was unexpected and very nice! Definitely will return here for my next oil change. Overall great service and communication!

Great service. Really, the best way to get in and out relatively fast is to arrive at 8 or before for inspections. Otherwise if it s like around lunch time, you will wait a good hour. The new awning really helps during the summer or on sunny days. No masks required outside. Masks are overrated.#kwikkar

After using them for regularly scheduled oil changes, it was discovered that the oil pan drain plug was stripped out. The only place that vehicle has had oil changes is there. They refuse to acknowledge the issue and fix it as there is nowhere else the thread stripping would have occurred.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
