Took my car on Monday morning at 8:30. Drove by the shop at 5 that same day, it was still parked in the same place where I left it. Called Tuesday afternoon to check on the status, they were just looking at it. We found out when we dropped it off there were 60 cars in front of us and should've been told, which we weren't. We get a call Wednesday, they got the wrong part! Are ya kidding? I needed my car Thursday by noon, had to go out of town. Said it might be ready by then..... it might. We were quoted a price, but when they called at 5:00 today, the price was $100+ more than the quoted price. We got good recommendations, but sorry, we won't be back.

They broke the center console in my girlfriend's car when they fix the air conditioner. She didn't tell me about it until just now. Recently she took the car back to have the door lock motor replaced in the driver side door. They left the screws out of the door liner. She's had to take the car back every time she's had work done at this place. Don't take your car here.

Had a recurring problem with the brakes. I had made numerous trips to the dealership and various brake repair shops and nobody could duplicate the problem or they fixed it and the problem still happened. I ended up at Bill s. The tech at Bill s was methodical and eventually discovered a short in a wiring harness. Fortunate to have been able to let them have the car for a couple of weeks and glad they didn t rush through it and give me lip service like everyone else.

Decided to take my truck to Bill's Half Price Auto Repair after reading reviews and receiving recommendations from coworkers, and I ended up having a really good experience with an auto repair shop - that doesn't happen often! James provided a detailed quote over the phone but then he beat his time and cost estimates, saving me half a day and half the cost. These guys are professional, polite, honest and dependable. I will definitely be a repeat customer.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

Bill s came recommended by a friend. I found them to be honest and fair! I ran over a curb and after I replaced the tire and rim, the wheel well was smoking. I was surprised how low the repair charges were. Who says that about auto repairs? I would definitely recommend.Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

A/C starting going out last year and I put it off as long as I could, but now reaching triple digit temperatures, I could almost wring the sweat out of my clothes. I came in fully expecting to shell out $500-800. They told me they could not find a leak in the system and that they put dye in it in case it goes out again. They recharged the AC for $250 and ostensibly it s now fixed. Whoever worked on my car, I want to kiss his hands. 98 degrees outside and I had to turn it down because I got chilly.Service: Auto A/C replacement

Called & asked rates to change a headlight proceeds to tell me I can do it for free and then charges me $50. Complaining it s gonna be that much bc it s such a hard job he has to take off the bumper yet the job was done in less than 15 mins. Grimey would not recommend at all. I didn t expect not to pay for labor but $50 is ridiculous come on now. Not to mention I also supplied my own part.

There is one main reason we go to Bill's. They are HONEST. I brought my car in telling them what I thought was wrong. I was prepared to pay $300 or more for this repair. They could have replaced this entire part, because that's what I thought was necessary. Nope. They found the actual problem, a simple wiring issue. $50 out the door! Highly recommend!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Bills has been great. they have taken care of my truck, car and mc. they don't charge an arm and a leg and are very honest about what needs to be done and what can be skipped or not necessary. i recommend them to all my friends.

They did a good job with my car and at a very good price, they definitely have the best prices around! They are also pretty fast and I really love the drop-key service they have over there. I towed my car late that night and I dropped the key with instructions attached to it in the special mailbox they have and the next day in the afternoon they called me that my car was ready! Also, the first time I brought my car I had the brakes changed and it did not cost me a leg like other places I had asked!!

I highly recommend taking your car to Bill's Half Price. I've been taking my cars there for a couple years now, and they're always honest, and the price is truly the best around. They're fairly quick as well. If you drop off your car first thing in the morning, they will almost always have it done by the end of the day. It's a really great little shop.

My parents and I have been customers of this shop for roughly 8 years now. I have never once had a bad experience with them and they have always been more than fair with their prices. We moved to Dallas a couple years ago and if my vehicle is acting up on me, I'd rather spend the extra cash to have it towed to Keller to have Bills handle the issue than have any other shop even look at it. This is by far the most trustworthy shop in the metroplex from my experience and I always recommend them to people I know. I can't stress enough how awesome this shop is, the mechanics working here, and how awesome Keith and Jeff are every time I've had to call them.

Be prepared to be without your vehicle for a week. Prices are good however I've had a recurring issue that they can't seem to fix. Other than that they've been fair to me.

I was really pleased with my experience at Bill's Half Price. It was my first visit and I went to have a wheel bearing on my car replaced. I called several other places for estimates and they were all much higher than I wanted (or could afford ) to pay. Bill's allowed me to purchase and bring in my own part, which was great because a lot of other places will not allow that. They told me they would charge $130 for the labor, and to my surprise, they only ended up charging me $104. They were very nice and had my vehicle ready about 6 hours later. For the first time ever, I did not feel like I was getting ridiculously overcharged by an auto repair shop. I will definitely be back for any future work that I may need!

My first experience with Bill s Half Price Auto Repair was very positive and wonderful I was referred to them by one of my co-workers! I took my car in for an oil leak for the week that I would be gone on vacation so they could work on it. They called me back with the issue that they found and quoted me a price. It ended up that my car was still under warranty with the dealership, so I followed back up with Jeff Merkel and Keith Moody and told them that I would not need their service after all. With me still being on vacation, they allowed me to leave my vehicle at the shop for the week and when I went to pick up my car upon my return, there were no fees or charges. Even though my car was not worked on by them during this visit, I will return again and again for the customer service, flexibility, and understanding that I experienced with them!

Used to be fast and honest. Last 2 times we've used them has been a nightmare. Was told a break job would be done the next day and it ended up being an entire week and had to call in multiple times for an ETA only to be told, "it's being worked on in a couple hours" several times. Also, took my other car in due to AC not working...bad compressor. Was going to cost $800+. Couldn't afford at the time but was still charged $100 since they checked them drained the system of refrigerant. Only to find out when I had it fixed elsewhere that they did NOT remove the freon after all. You are the reason people have very little trust in the industry

I had shopped around at a few other repair shops and even had some service done at the others. Bill's helped me get 2 services checked out prior to having them done... a brake fluid flush and trans service. Both would have run over $200 and they told me they weren't needed. Thats instant credibility in my book. Their labor rates are the cheapest and they got me in/out fast. Glad to know I have a local shop who cares about their customers. I will be returning to their shop as my truck needs more service.

I used Bill's to get my 1500 Dodge Ram coolant leak fixed. They diagnosed the issue and replaced the timing chain/gasket/cover and water pump. And their rates on labor were very reasonable! I feel very comfortable recommending their work to others, don't let the shop name "Half Price" scare you away. The work they do is definitely not "half price" quality, the work they do there is great!

A few years ago these guys replaced my engine and were extremely understanding when I had an unexpected financial issue come up. They did excellent work and were quick and friendly. Plus, you can't beat their prices. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicle's to Bill's for many years now and have ALWAYS been able to count on then for timely and cost efficient service, as well as they make you feel like family. I've visited the Keller location twice now, once with the wife's car and once with mine. The customer service received there is above anything I've ever seen at any auto repair shop. They did a great job of keeping me informed on my vehicles as well as within promised timeframes. I would recommend Bill's to everyone! I'm a customer for life!

My AC went out on my 2005 Freestyle and I took it in to Bill's. They were very up front with the cost and time it would take to repair. I have learned that although Bill's is one of the least expensive shops I've been to, more importantly they are honest and I can trust what they are telling me is true. This is very key especially when cars are not your area of expertise. My car was repaired correctly and I had a great experience at this shop. Thanks Bill.
