The manager and staff are great! They go out of their way to help you any way they can. They will also be honest with you about what needs to be done to fix your car and will not try to sell you something that you don't need.I highly recommend them. I would give them more stars, but it only goes up to 5.

Spoke to Robbie over the phone and let him know the problem with our truck and was able to send him a photo so he could ensure they could fix it, he got me in the very next morning. There was a part needed from the dealership and due to the fact that I was waiting the owner David drove to the dealership himself to pick it up so they could get me back on the road quickly. I will absolutely return to this shop if we need any work in the future. Both gentleman were very personable and I can tell they truly try to help out their customers.

If I could rate David and his team 10 stars I would! I had an emergency trip I to take from my home state of Colorado to Fort Worth right before Christmas and my check engine light came on and was told by another shop that my transmission was leaking. I had to get back for Christmas and no other shop would take the time to just took at it. I called David at AAMCO and he told me to bring it down and he would look at it right away. 30 minutes later, he told me there was no leak and no problem with my transmission. I was shocked! He only wanted charge me a small amount for his mechanic but that was unacceptable! I tipped more because him and his staff took care of me so quickly and honestly to get home for Christmas!!If you're looking for an honest and worthy mechanic, look no further. David and his team are the best in Fort Worth!! I'm forever thankful and grateful that he took care of my car and got me home for Christmas!!

Robbie was wonderful, first class!! Our warranty company recommended this company. Robbie treated our vehicle as if it were his own.... He advised us after inspecting it and troubleshooting some things that we could try to make the defroster work better. We had a very good experience the maintenance done on the vehicle was very good we are looking forward to doing other work on our vehicles in the future as needed. Thank you Robbie and thank your staff happy customers..

They have pride in doing transmissions well. It is important to them that you are satisfied. I had a concern and they all stopped what they were doing to solve the issue. I am impressed.

First time here. I went because I thought my transmission needed repair. I left my vehicle there and they told me how long it would take to look it over and possibly when it would be ready. I called back and very professionally they informed me there was no issue with the transmission and no need to replace. They did tell me I was overdue on my transmission fluid. They replaced my fluid and told me it was ready to be picked up. From the time I entered this place and to the time I left, I felt very comfortable everyone was professional and was being taken care of. Definately recommend.

I took my car in for a minor repair on a Friday mid-morning. I could tell the guys were really busy. Robbie (super nice,professional and polite) at the front desk took my car in and they were able to have my car out by 2pm. Price/cost was extremely fair. It s good to have great service in the Keller area!

They have an awesome team! I have went to AAMCO on 2 separate occasions for 2 of my vehicles. One vehicle, they put in a transmission for me, and it has been running great! Another vehicle they performed a diagnostic, and it saved me a ton of time, money, and future headaches! Note - I took my vehicle to the Kia Dealership first before coming to AMMCO for a diagnostic, and they didn t get to the root of the problem. AAMCO identified the problem and offered a solution. They are communicative and straightforward! You will not be left in the dark about anything. Highly recommend to give this team a call FIRST if something goes wrong with your car.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

My vehicle was there 2 days for a rear differential inspection scheduled by the owner. The so-called shop manager failed to complete the task. He is exceptional sewage filler - but, his task management & shop manager skills are sub-par.When I finally requested my vehicle back ; because his staff never completed the rear differential inspection- the 2nd day.He provided excuses regarding the person who was qualified to inspect the rear differential. The main excuse was the only qualified person was dealing with high blood pressure. HE NEVER mentioned this 1st day I dropped the vehicle off! Or to provide a courtesy phone call keeping the customer informed.Then, this amazing professional told me he wasn t going to charge- me a fee for the service his mismanagement failed to provide. I guess this is the Keller Way of providing service to Retired Veterans.Hey! 'motor mouth' thank you for your SERVICE and sharing stories of your gun collection!

Cannot say enough good things about how we were treated by David, Robbie, and the team. I'll spare the gory details but, simply say that, in today's rapid "get 'em in and get 'em quick" mentality by so many commercial establishments (especially auto repair), it was very refreshing to see that the "old school" adage of "the customer comes first" is still alive here. Robbie and team not only expertly replaced the transmission but also solved another related problem actually caused by another repair facility, who was unwilling to accept responsibility. Robbie and team did the right thing and took care of everything professionally, efficiently, and cost effectively. Hats off to these folks who still believe in customer satisfaction. Will be changing where we get our cars repaired going forward. Kudos AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care team!Service: Transmission

A couple weeks ago my Ford s check engine light was on. My husband took the car to AAMCO, because he takes his care there and always has a great experience. They were wonderful to me as well. After the problem was diagnosed the took the time to call us and explain in detail what the problem was and what the cost would be in detail for each individual fix. They wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the cost, and ensure we were not being overcharged. The service was quick, and promised to be done right on time. When I went to pick up my car, I had asked the manager if he could look at my door and give me advice on how to fix it. This was right at closing, and he said absolutely! He right away went and looked at it, and ended up just fixing it for me at no cost! I am very impressed with the level of customer service here, and will always now take my care to AAMCO for service.Thank you AAMCO for treating your customers so good .Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Horrible experience. The lack of professionalism from this place is incredibly disheartening. Went in to get a water pump fixed. Called 2 weeks after saying the car was shaking and they said that had nothing to do with it. Called again and they said you waited months to call again. It is still under warranty and not once were we asked to bring it in that they'd take a look at it. Instead we were told that since the car is paid for the $2,000 spent is worth it for a 2014 that if you divide that by 9 months (the time since we took it) that is was a good deal that it lasted us this long.

Honest mechanics here. It was a simple fix I thought it was going to be expensive. They save me a lot of money by telling me exactly what I needed. I was having problems with my transmission and they told me I needed an additive. That's why I say they are very honest people here. I would recommend them highly. They are trustworthy for sure. I thought it was going to cost me an arm and a leg and all it was was just an additive. I cannot say enough during these hard times or people are getting price gouged Every Which Way but Loose. Not here not at this place.

I had a good experience with the Shop. Spoke to David the owner on the phone once and was very helpful, he and his family are involved with the community. John, who is the manager not only is knowledgeable, but he is a nice person. I had to tow my car at the end to the dealership because my transmission issue was related to an electronic module that required an specific software, and like any German car, in this case it was better to get it fixed by the dealer. John took a step further, since it was better to take it somewhere else and originally their shop took care of the tow of my car to their shop to be repaired, John waived the towing fee, since I was now going to get my car towed again to another location. That is not seen these days often. That showed the integrity of their business model. I met few of their crew and they were all very nice people. My car got finally fixed and runs like new again!

David and his team were awesome!! They were honest and upfront about the work; we came in thinking the issue was one thing and it turned out to be something completely different. They did not try to sell and additional services, just fixed my car at a reasonable price. It s so refreshing to deal with a company that is honest and has integrity. Aamco of Keller is my new place for all my automotive needs. Thank you!!

Ammco of Keller diagnosed my truck a 2020 F150 last week and said the transmission needed to be completely replaced. It was shifting out hard of 5th gear. It was also giving a power train warning on my Ford App. Being that they said it would be $8000 to replace the entire transmission and take over 4-6 weeks to complete, I decided to get a second opinion, sure glad I did! Another shop in the Keller area is more experienced and diagnosed it as a value body (brains and solenoids of the trans) replacement. Which is a known problem in these 10 speed transmissions. (See the photos the other shop sent me) It s running fine now. I just want to bring light to the fact this particular shop will just replace the whole transmission to make extra money. Btw ammco charged me $99 to misdiagnose.Service: Transmission

We took our Audi to the Audi dealership and they said it was going to cost thousands of dollars to repair the transmission. It needed to be rebuilt in Germany and then shipped over. Thankfully we took it to Aamco in Keller! It was was not the transmission, it was something completely else and was fixed and we barely had to spend money to get it corrected. We recently bought another Audi and we will continue to use this location as our primary for any and all of our future vehicles! The owner is very nice and I appreciate his hard work for bringing such great staff members on board!Services: Transmission, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

They did an awesome job on my car at a very reasonable price. I didn't feel like they where adding items on just to charge me more. I will definitely be back to see them!The above post was from 9 months ago. I had another problem with my car yesterday May 23, 2018, and had it towed in for repair. I called and let them know that I was having it dropped of there and what was wrong with it. When they where able to get to it they let me know up front what they saw and what the issue could be. They let me know they would not be able to determine what was wrong with it unless they took part of the engine apart to run test and this would cost $200. They gave me the best and worse case scenario. They had to let the engine cooled off and it wouldn't be until the next day to have it fixed. I was shocked when I talked to this this after noon and they told me they fixed the problem and the total cost of the repair was $250. It was minor. Once again I am so impressed by the honesty and their great work. Places like this are hard to find and I would recommend you give them a try. I wish I could give them another 5 stars!

This is the ONLY place we will take our cars! The staff and owner were amazingly friendly and helpful. We were hit with an unexpected and expensive car repair. They worked with us to explore our options and find the best option. When we chose the less efficient, cheaper, temporary fix the owner said he couldn't, in good conscience, let us do that knowing that we would just have to have it repaired again in less than a year. We explored even more options and were able to find one that worked for everyone. The repairs were completed quickly and my SUV runs better than it has in years. This is a company that REALLY DOES care about the customer and goes above and beyond to make them feel appreciated and they continue to do so every time we go! We are so grateful for them! We recommend them to everyone needing car repair and maintenance!

David took great care of me. I went in for the A/C on my Honda CRV and found out it needed a new compressor and condenser. The guys up there got it taken care of within one day and my A/C is working great. Great price, great costumer service and overall great experience!

I bought my wife's car here for the transmission. David was so professional and truly fair with the price. He is so professional with his job and job that we returned to him for an oil and brake job. He's always fair and honest with the repairs and price and more so works hard to support and help his local community especially small businesses during the pandemic. We will definitely continue taking all of our vehicles to Amoco in Keller.

Unfortunately, I had not the best experience with this shop. Everyone on the phone sound professional and understanding. After explaining numerous times of what happened and all the specifications of the truck, I decided to tow the vehicle over to this guys. Next day after spending time and effort I received a phone call stating they won't be able to work on my vehicle. Not sure where miscommunication happened, but they couldn't care less.. Everyone that I talked to suddenly disappeared and another gentleman told me the "good" news. Please check all the details before go here and double check everything.
