Prices are about average, but their work is stellar. Brad the front desk guy gave me a preliminary check before even taking the vehicle in. In that situation I ended up not even taking the vehicle to them. But I have now taken 2 other ones and they have been great to deal with. Highly recommend

I tried to install my own catalytic converter. I did more harm than good. I relay on this place to take care of what I can t. I own four cars and have never been dissatisfied with their work or their pricing. I recommend to everybody!

I feel very happy with the service and the staff. I took my car to Danny with electrical problems, and he fixed it in a considerable time. They are very professional, reliable and responsive.

Best auto shop there is. Mr.Brad and Danny have always been such a big help. I ve learned so much about my car because they are willing to teach me what s wrong and what to look out for when I take it in for anything I m not sure about. Been going here since I moved to Katy and even though I moved to memorial I ll still go. They are like family. :)

Bought some shocks and needed someone to install them for me. Took it into Mike s to get a quote. Daniel & his team gave me an extremely fair price for the labor. Dropped it off the next morning and the work was done great and quick. Was able to drive it home later that same day. Battery also died while at the shop and they went out of their way to help me replace it. Definitely going to be my main shop from here on out. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of a mechanic.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

Wonderful team of mechanics. Was headed to woodville from San Antonio when my Jeep started to run funny and my check engine light came on. Showed up and explained what was going on. They were quick to help, wait wasn t too long considering I showed up without calling. They were able to identify the problem, fix it, and also have some great advice on how to address the issue should it persist, as I was just passing through. Very polite and professional. Highly recommended. Honest service. They explain in plain details what your car needs but are not forcing or pressuring you to get the service they recommend. They only recommend what's absolutely necessary, and suggests what service might be a good idea to think about getting next time. They stand behind their work. We recently had our Jeep JKU overheat on Porter, just down the road from their shop. We dropped the Jeep off with them out of necessity and took a risk not having used them before. Turns out there was a good amount of issues with the cooling system going on, which we had experienced a few symptoms prior. We had been in communication with their foreman, Brad, since day one. We would get daily calls and explanations of what they found as well as what they felt the remedy would be. Never felt pushed for the next "fix." I'm not a mechanic by any means, but was doing my research on the issue. Brad was right in line with what I had researched with his explanations and next step to repair the system. The Jeep was returned to us in a very timely manner considering the work to be done. The customer service and communication we experienced was exceptional. The price tag for the repairs was what I was expecting, without any surprises. I felt involved with the entire ordeal. I am beyond pleased with this business and very happy that we took the risk to use them without having any dealings with them before.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Have been going here for quite awhile with my wife s 2004 Lexus ( work horse car 360,000 miles on it and goes 400-500 miles per day). the entire shop goes above and beyond to keep my wife happy and not having to drive my Ram so when it s time for service ( every 3-4 weeks ) great planning and most importantly honest service !!!! Thank you all

Great place to go for repairs!! My family and I are new to the Katy area and I was very skeptical about places to get my wife's Buick Enclave fix afraid that the service would be poor and over priced. But the excellent service Brad provided was AWESOME! Brad was very knowledgeable, transparent and communicated about what was needed to be repaired. The prices that he quoted for the parts and labor I went online and compared it with the prices in the area and his quote was a couple dollars under or spot on. This is now my go to place for any of my family car repairs. Very satisfied customers!

These guys were amazing. The most important to me was their honesty. They were very fair with me & kept me in the loop during the process of my repair.I ve been screwed by far too many shops and it s been hard to find great customer service like this with such honesty.Though the job wasn t 100% complete (two grounds needed to be placed to prevent the oil & coolant light from blinking on the dash) In their defense, they pointed out the correction & would address it on my next appointment. I m a very happy customer. These guys have won my business for the seeable future.

These guys are honest and do great work. My son is in College Station and I had him come home to have his truck repaired here because I trust them.I take every vehicle in my family to these guys. They communicate proactively and have always delivered exceptional service.

Mike is very friendly and knows the area and the business he and his team are honest and dependable. It took me a long time to come here but once I did this is my one stop shop for auto repair and will refer my friends and family. It's also an added plus that this is in my neighborhood! Great team, Daniel & Brad are always looking for ways to help from the repairs to also potential financing for larger repairs always makes my life easier.

I hate auto repairs. Every experience I've had previously has just been awful so it was nice to have a positive exchange for once. My car had some intermittent starting issues and they took good care of me. Because they couldn't get the car to NOT start it took a few days to figure it out, but I was very hesitant to take back my car until I had some answers. God forbid it stop on the freeway with my kids in the car or something. I was listened to, my concerns were addressed, and I felt like the prices I was charged were fair. Would recommend

Great people! We were on the road and had engine trouble. Had an error code from AutoZone and (I'm so sorry I don't recall his name) the service rep new what the issue was, about how long it would take to fix it, and squeezed us in even though they were crowded.

I was recently referred to Mikes Westside Auto through a close friend who has work with these guys for over 20 years. I enjoyed my time with them and felt at home. These guys know their stuff, are respectful and communicative throughout the repairs I had done with them. I would and will confidently refer people I know to go to Westside Auto for any help in the future. Thank you specifically to Daniel and Brad and the technician that helped take the rattle out of my ford mustangs' exhaust.

Been using Mike's for a couple of years and they always take care of me. Very helpful, willing to explain and show me, and if I say do this anyway because I can't afford that yet, they gladly do without treating me like an idiot...and they were right both times btw :)

Mike Auto in Katy, Texas has the best customer service I have ever experienced. I needed to get a new battery for my car and called a few places but decided not to bring my car to those shops I had called. After calling about 3 shops, I called Mike Auto. Brad answered the phone and I knew this was the place to take my car. I am big on energy and I know when someone is being sincere and he was. I took my car in an hour later and they took care of me. Every customer that walked in was treated like family. Most shops take advantage of women but not Mike Auto. They made sure I knew what was going on with my car. They didn t try to sell me things I didn t need. I had some erosion on my battery wire but the mechanic soaked it in hot water instead of saying you just need to purchase a new wire. He saved me $300. The service from the time I walked in to the time I walked out was amazing. I am a repeat customer. Thanks Mike Auto.
