I had an awesome experience. The gentleman was very patient and considerate towards my needs. Great customer service. I recommend this location to anyone who needs assistance with car repairs. I will not bring my car back to any other place.

They did fast service for my car! I had to do car inspection on my car for car registration and they charged me only $7 for it since my car is an old one! They found three of my bulbs in the rear were off so replaced them for $45. So it was around $52 for good 15-20 mins service. I am satisfied with their job!If you wanna do state inspection I recommend this place!Cheers

For so long I ve been looking for a mechanic shop. I ve finally found one that by far exceeds my expectations! Venus at the front desk meets every customer service expectation. Her husband, Theo, the mechanic was kind enough to thoroughly explain what he had done to my vehicle. I highly recommend this shop! I can guarantee their work and service will not leave you disappointed!

Made an advance appointment for tire rotation and balance, and had a ride to come pick me up. Arrive for my appointment and was informed they can rotate but cannot balance because the machine is broken. I asked why I was not called about this since I specifically put in my appointment notes that I needed a balance, and was told I don t know, our system may be broken. You could try Midas across the street . Everything at Meinecke is broken apparently, so just try Midas.

This place is ridiculous.. I'm having some battery/alternator issues today and I needed to keep my car running so I sat in my car while my wife went in to use the bathroom. My wife came out of the bathroom after nobody was up front and the lady at the front desk starts harassing my wife about not asking to use the bathroom and that she didn't care if we were going to be a paying customer. Then she tells her, "well I don't know that." Why would we stop by to just use their bathroom when there was an Exxon a rocks throw away? She also mentioned that this is a business and that they have to pay for the bathrooms. Well yeah.. every business does and I can promise you they do not care especially if it's for a paying customer. This is insane and is such piss poor customer service and not just that but common courtesy to let someone use their bathroom. I've used other Meineke's before and never had any issues. After this experience, I'm never going to use Meineke again. All of this over my wife using a bathroom so my car wouldn't die. Great way to run a business..

The staff was very rude, argumentative and not knowledgeable about what was truly going on with the car. $140 an hour to diagnosis the car with no definitive answers. Highly do not recommend- Katy location

Great placeCool employeesThough they were shorthanded that day, they still got my car done in reasonable time.Pricing was fair as I brought my own part/fluid. They didn't push me to use their own fluid and charge ridiculously like some shops.Service: Auto maintenance

This is one of the better meineken and best of any automotive service we have used so far in Katy. Very reasonable in their recommendations and set correct expectations. Very very happy with their service.

The other reviews definitely seem farmed and fake. I had a very bad experience with this place and seemingly so did everyone else waiting in the lobby on the 3 days I was there based on conversationsThey re over priced without question ($90+ for an oil change, $250+ for diagnostics, $1k+ to replace an alternator) but they are also incompetent. I bought my car in based on the positive reviews on a Saturday because it would not start and the battery light on the dashboard was on. They told me my alternator was bad and needed to be replaced, I had my suspicions that it was just a bad battery or the serpentine belt had an issue but they assured me it was the alternator. I chose to trust them which I probably shouldn t have done and it was replaced by them on the day, they asked me to leave it running for a few hours which I did. After a few hours assuming the battery would be running and the alternator was good I turned the car off but it wouldn t start again without a jump. I took it to an Autozone to get the battery tested, they recommended I replace the alternator and were shocked when I told them that it the alternator was less than a day old.I go back to this place because they either did a bad job installing it or used a defective unit, they look at it and this time say there is a leak in the battery which and this bad battery was causing the alternator to malfunction. How was this leak not seen the first time? They also say the serpentine belt is tearing, again how was it not noticed before charging me $1k+ for an alternator replacement that probably wasn t needed. They say all they can do is apologize because Saturday was a busy day and they probably missed it (hard to believe as I was there at 8am and they had 1 other car at the time).I had no trust in them at this point but it was too late to go somewhere else as they have the warranty on the alternator and going somewhere else would mean I d have to pay for a whole check again and possibly other costs.I had them replace the battery and they replaced the alternator for the second time. Even with the second new alternator and a new battery+serpentine belt, it wouldn t work. They had me waiting there for a half a day by saying it s a 30-45 min job and I chose to wait, this turned out to be a half a day only to then tell me that they ll need to keep the car over night and try a third alternator from a different brand the next day.I pick up the car and in a few hours the check engine light is on. They not only did not fix the issue but caused more. I have finally returned all their items and got a refund on everything from them except labor, which they did a bad job with anyway.

I went in for an inspection. The guy saw my truck and could have told me i wouldn t pass with my tint before charging me then telling me I failed and to come back when it s fixed smh. I basically wasted $25 for him to tell me this when im sure he could have told me before inspecting my vehicle. Mind you I bought the vehicle like this from the dealer and have never been told that I wouldn t pass. I definitely won t be going back. I was able to go directly to the dealer where I purchased the vehicle where they gave me documentation for the tint and was able to pass with them.

Nice experience here. I got in and out of there fairly quickly without having to wait too long. The lady at the front was very friendly and helpful. I appreciated them not trying to up-sell me on a bunch of stuff and they did exactly what I asked for without trying to scare me into additional services like some other places do. Very good attention and prompt inspection. It was found a damaged bulb and replaced it inmediately. This is the third time I go to my vehicle inspection at Meineke

I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Venus. My husband's car would not start and I came into the lobby first to use the bathroom, as we did not want to turn the car off. Got berated by Venus who told me that I needed to ask permission to use the bathroom and it was not a public restroom. I told her we were coming in as clients so we should be able to use the restroom. Took my business elsewhere and filed a corporate complaint.

These guys saved my day. I broke down many miles away, and used Wrecker King to tow my car. (Their recommendation).The gentleman in the garage worked in the heat for an hour and a half after closing to make sure that I could get to San Antonio by the end of the day.The very polite woman working at the front desk was very personable and reassuring through the whole stressful process.I m extremely grateful I wound up at this location.Service: Electrical

I came in for a vehicle inspection and had one person in front of me. I was assisted in short order on both providing the requisite information and having my vehicle inspected. In and out in under 30 minutes. Hard to beat that. I'll be back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Meineke for what I thought were brake issues. From the moment I walked into the shop, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a level of professionalism that immediately put me at ease.After explaining the issues I was experiencing with my brakes, they took the time to carefully inspect my vehicle. To my surprise and delight, they came back to me with some great news - my brakes were in good condition and didn't require any repairs!I was so impressed by their honesty and integrity. They could have easily convinced me that my brakes needed work and charged me for unnecessary repairs, but instead they were upfront and transparent about the condition of my vehicle.Overall, I highly recommend for anyone in need of an honest and trustworthy mechanic. Dont go here. This location did a ac recharge on my car. I discovered that the hood of the car can no longer open. So i went back to this location and when i did the boss said to the lady in the front well it was you that closed the hood. Then told me they can fix it if i pay for it. Wait what yall are the one that touched my car and messed it up. Now you are trying to charge me honestly if she wasnt so busy with her newborn we wouldnt be in this mess. This location is unprofessional dont be fooled. When they mess up your car they play like it wasnt them and the lady in the front took my car drove it around to the back for 5 min then said oh no we didnt do this. Her and the boss knew they did it and started to talk differently after they realized that they brok my hood. Dont go here
