Thanks to the great team at Katy Auto Collision for help in bringing back my Honda CR-V with a difficult to match color back to looking like new. The estimation process was straightforward, the reasoning for each line item was clearly explained and the cost was very reasonable. Abi did an awesome job of keeping me in the loop throughout the repairs. I never had to wonder about where we were in the process. I also appreciate the team s high standard for the quality of their work. The team was transparent about the difficulty in matching my particular vehicle color, took it upon themselves to repaint the affected area until it met their standard before I saw the finished product. It was really refreshing to work with a team that took so much ownership of making the repair right. Highly recommend working with this team.

I must say that the ratings hold true here. Hector has been my person of contact. He is very professional and yet somehow remains very committed to his customer's satisfaction. He has kept me in the loop on every important decision made. Apparently, he works very closely with his boss, whom I need to add, has allowed Hector and his team to move freely enough not to stiffle their artistic abilities. I am so satisfied at this point that it makes me want to paint another car. My car is now finished. 5/4/2023. Hector and his team did so much more than just paint my car. I paid extra, and they delivered extra. We had a small punch list at the end, but Hector made sure that it was taken care of. I have been told that if I find anything else that I should bring it back to them. I do highly recommend Katy Auto Collision.

I have a 2019 Toyota Tundra, and I have been to Katy Auto Collision on two occasions. Overall, I am greatly pleased by the quality of service and turn around time with both my experiences. I appreciate Jonas's candidness and helpfulness throughout the whole process, which is why I would highly recommend Katy Auto to anyone who needs a repair or vehicle service.The first time I visited Katy Auto was for a left fender/door bender I had while towing a trailer. I was pulling up to a gas station to put gas at night, and while I was trying to pay attention to the rear of the trailer in my side view mirror, I completely did not see the concrete guard pillar that I hit because my truck was taller than it. Once I filed a claim to State Farm, all I had to do was drop off my truck and give Katy Auto my truck key and my claim number. I didn't have to do anything else. I told Jonas that I was going to be out of town for business and for work for a month, and ideally, it would be nice to have my repairs done right when I returned to town, but that he did not have to worry about having the repairs done much sooner. Sure enough, a month later, a few days before I arrived back in town, I got a call from him saying that my truck was repaired, cleaned, and ready to be picked up. (Before and after pictures below).The second time I visited Katy Auto collision was for a catalytic converter theft. Because the theft happened on a Saturday, I drove my vehicle home. On Sunday, I filed a claim with State Farm, and on Monday, I called Katy Auto to see if they could tow my truck to their shop. I also asked Jonas if he could procure me a catalytic converter cover and install it onto my truck to deter future thefts. This time, all I had to do was give my key to the tow truck driver, let him tow my truck, and then give Katy Auto my claim number again. Again, I didn't have to do anything else. I got a call about three weeks later that my truck was again repaired, cleaned, and ready to be picked up.To give more context, this was actually the second time my catalytic converter had been stolen. The first time was right when the pandemic started in March 2020. Back then, these catalytic converter thefts were not as common or organized as today, so procuring the Toyota OEM parts was fairly easy. It only took about two weeks for my truck to be repaired. Today, finding all of the Toyota OEM parts or even a catalytic converter cover is hard to come by with lead times being anywhere from one to three months depending on the business. My understanding is that there are lots of business politics with different dealers and companies hoarding and inflating the prices of these parts because of their high demand and limited supply. The fact that Jonas and his team got this whole repair done, plus dealing with State Farm estimators and procuring the parts, in three weeksis truly impressive.Because of my good experiences with Katy Auto, I'm going to see if I can come back and have them install a full guard steel front bumper with some fancy off-roading lights, a steel rear bumper a rooftop rack, some ditch lights, skid plates, rock sliders, and an upgraded suspension package. Just have to start saving!

I just wanted to share my amazing experience with Katy Auto Collision. I got into an accident during Christmas break. I picked Katy Auto just random and it was the best decision/luck. They were extremely pleasant and took care of everything including the rental issues I had. The repairs were pretty much perfect. Thank you Jonathan for going above and beyond. If I get into another accident I know exactly where I m going. :)

Worst experience. I never received a call that parts were in, that additional parts needed to be repaired or ordered , nor that the truck was ready. You would think that they are rebuilding my truck and repainting it for as long as they took. No, it was just a freaking rear bumper replacement on a 2017 Silverado. How does a simple bumper replacement take 2 weeks? I ve been in the automotive field for over 20 years and I have never experienced such incompetence. It was so bad that every time that I called my contact at the shop to check on the status of the truck he would have others say that he was busy or couldn t come to the phone in order to not get on the phone with me. Beware of this place. I bet that whatever good reviews there are of this place were made by the employees themselves. No way that they know how to take care of customers.

Gosh, they went above and beyond with our insurance claim. I will spare you the details of what transpired before we made it to Katy Auto, but once we were there things moved smoothly. They were in constant contact with us and our insurance throughout the process. The staff was kind and I love that they are local and a family run operation. I would definitely recommend them!

Excellent work and did a fast job even over chrimas. Painless with insurance too. My sedan was rear ended and it looks like brand new after their work. Will defiantly use again for any body work.

They did a good job on their work and even detailed the inside and outside of my car. However, they took a long, long, long time to fix my car. My repair should have been about 3 weeks and they took about 7 weeks. They had problems communicating with Insurance to get the repairs approved with the insurance company and Katy Auto Repair pointing the fingers at each other. Also, they had keep receiving broken parts that they had to send back to the supplier. There were times when they didn't return my phone calls.

Thank you thank you.. for doing such an awesome job Bri was awesome and knowledgeable..I was very much hesitant due to previous experiences with auto shops and the paint rusting after a few years Bri reassured me with warranty and a much better quality of work I was assured to be in good hands.. what a transformation..thank you for reasonable cost.. we appreciate your patience with the estimates given..Special thank you for washing and cleaning my car.. felt brand new all over again.. Took my mini van here because of 3rd party insurance coverage. They did a great job on the collision damage i had. But then I asked them to take care of my molding clips, and said they will take care of it and will need to have order the clips and pay them $33.29. Very small job assuming they can take care of it like a walk in the park. Unfortunately, it seems to me theytake small jobs for granted. Molding clips was ordered April. I have to call them for monthly follow ups on when they are ready. 3 clips ordered but only 2 arrived mid October, as I called to follow up again. Followed up again start of November and 3rd clip not available. Decided to try if other auto shop can take care of my small car problem. Auto Check Elite took care of it only within 3days. Called Katy Auto collision to cancel the job and just refund the $33.29. They can t refund it just yet because they need to add restocking fee. Made it sound like it is clients fault to cancel a job that took months of waiting. When compared to a different shop that only took 2 days to be ready and less than a day to finish it. What happens now to my $33.29? I consider it as a donation. If you have any car issues, rather go to Auto Check Elite.

Had a very good experience on a small job - I needed all 4 wheels refinished due to curb rash and peeling factory paint. I had a wheel & tire service contract that was about to expire (the kind dealerships like to sell you when you buy a vehicle). The service contract folks told me it's best to have a repair facility initiate the claim. I called a few wheel shops around town and none of them would work with my plan directly. I knew most if not all body shops use 3rd party shops for wheel repairs. Called Katy Auto Collision and they said sure no problem. For a very small fee on top of the wheel & tire shop charge (Wheel Works) Bri and Abbie handled the claim and arranged for the pickup and delivery of the wheels which came back looking brand new. This was geat since I was on a tight timeline and Katy Auto Collision is a lot closer to me than any of the wheel shops I was calling. They went the extra step of having their staff unload and re-load the wheels into my SUV since the car they belonged on was in a different repair shop for an unrelated issue. Great customer service and they will be top of my list when I have a more serious body repair job in the future.

The management of this company doesn t seem to care about you or your car repair. I had my appraisal completed 4-1/2 months ago. Allstate is my insurance company. Katy Auto never contacted my insurance company. I made 3 to 4 calls during this duration. Allstate also sent me a msg. To my surprise they couldn t make a connection. I made another call and also ordered a door handle needed and would responsible to pay for the installation. Point is, 5 months later I called and other adjuster with another Insurance company answered the phone. He took it upon himself to help. I delivered my truck as asked and after telling the person working the desk my name asked me to fill out a form with my info. I immediately told her that it had been 5 months and the adjustment has already been completed, parts ordered. I d hoped they would have a file or folder all the information. Also that I hope they do business in a much more professional manner than all that has happened up to this point. They couldn t find the folder. Had my deductible returned and left calling my Allstate contact for the repair. Ow waiting on Classic Collision to call as Allstate sent another msg. They had been contacted and should call. I also asked others if they may know why Katy Collision hadn t taken care of me. Their comment wasn t in the company s favor. I wouldn t trust this company s management. Not down grading any other employees as it not their fault. You may want to reconsider your choices for auto repair

I recently worked with Katy Auto Collision to replace my mom s side mirror on her 25 year old car. Customer service was absolutely excellent and they went above and beyond to help us. They were quick with getting the part we needed (even though many places had discontinued making it). When it came to installing the part, they were efficient and completed the task in a very timely manner. We are very pleased with the work they did.

Wife hit a tire that flew off someone's car on the freeway near San Antonio. First set of pictures are from some other joke of a shop called Frank's out in New Braunfels. Katy Auto Collision had to fix the two tone monstrosity Frank's "This is the best we could do, because the sun" Collision left me with. They also worked on my daughter's car as well while they had my van. Great service, communication, and most importantly, they know how to match paint. Thanks!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I just picked up my daughter's car from Katy Auto Collision and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are amazing: in the work they do, in their prices, in their fairness (they gave me several options and worked with me on what to fix and how much it would cost), making sure I only got what I needed. This is extremely rare today and this place is a gem. Having a place I can take my car to get fixed, knowing they won't try to take advantage of me, that they will give me a great price and do awesome work is a keeper for me. Sorry, guys but my experience with this place was the worst, not sure if I'm wrong. I took my car on may 2023 for body repair. until now. They owe me parts. Too many things happens, so thats why my experience has been declined for this shop..

The whole claim process was outstanding. Progressive recommended this place as one of the preferred body shops and we are so glad we decided to choose them. Jonathan was excellent. Courteous and making sure we understand the whole process. They took three days to finish the job including painting. Quality was awesome. Will use if needed again and recommend to everyone. This place was recommended on the Katy Community FB page and so I took my minivan, that had been hit, to get repaired. They were AWESOME! Very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable! Hello-I had the pleasure of working with Brie at Katy Auto Collision. From the start she was straight forward, friendly, and helpful with repairs. She called me frequently with updates, made sure I was ok with the cost upfront prior to any work done, and ensured satisfaction after all repairs were made. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment.
