I came for a routine oil change to my vehicle and found a scratch on the steering wheel. After bringing up the concern, the management went beyond expectations to fix the issue. I m happy with the prompt follow up and how much they care about the positive customer experience. I look forward to return for future maintenance services at this location.

I took my vehicle to Katy Honda to address a safety recall and perform a state inspection. Setting up an appointment online was quick and seamless. My service advisor Joshua S and the service department team were courteous, professional and addressed all my requirements in a timely manner. I give them 5 stars any day.

Even with the appointment expect to wait 2 hours. I'm very disappointed with their services. I waited at the dealership for hours and they didn't even wash my car which says if you wait at dealership you will get complimentary car wash. 2 hours just for a oil change.

If you have a Honda and a lifetime oil change, just get the oil change only. And make sure you be there and park in front of the garage doors the first thing in the morning before they open (we usually got there 30 minutes early, and we'd be out within 20 minutes or so once they open). Otherwise, you may wait a couple of hours before the oil change is done on your car. Do not take their word at what needs to be done to your car while your oil is being changed. My wife and I had bought our Honda there and one time we took it to this service center to get the oil changed. While the car was still sitting in the garage with its hood open, a guy came up to us and rattled off a list of what needed to be done as routine maintenance (charges would run up to $700). Sensing a scam, I politely declined and requested that they just change the oil only. We took the car to our mechanic at his shop and asked him to check and see if those listed items needed to be replaced. He said he'd take a look and we left the car at his shop. The next day, my instincts were well-founded when he texted me the next afternoon and said there was NOTHING wrong with the car and that all the listed parts were still in good working condition. Now, what does that tell you? Really sad that we gave Honda our business by buying our car from there, only to be rewarded by them trying to scam us.

I cannot get through to the service team. I've called twice in the last hour and have been disconnected each time while on hold. I waited another hour to call a 3rd time and requested to be transferred by the operator directly and still the same result. It's very frustrating to say the least but customer service continues to decline at this location. I give up on Katy Honda. I will never purchase another vehicle at this location.

Worst experience ever. Went there for 100,000-mile service. The guy there recommended me to replace the parts which didn't really need to be replaced, with a crazily high labor fee. My water pump was broken within 10 mins after they replaced my drive belt. They even asked me to make additional payment to fix it. Crazy. This place is a joke. They need to understand that they are playing with peoples lives. My poor struggling mom dropped her car off first thing in the morning to get a diagnostic. It sat all day with no phone call. Finally at 5 pm I called them and they said they haven t touched it and that it would have wait until tomorrow. My mom cannot afford to miss work so we had to come pick it up. We wasted hours of driving and gas for nothing.

So, bought my car new in 2017. No more prepaid oil changes accepted in 2021.... I paid $400 at time of purchase. No way I used that up in 3 1/2 years. Fast forward to 2022, and we call about tire warranty. They were NO help. They don't look up your account, they don't do the leg work to get the business. I did a 30 min lookup of tire warranty and found that all they have to do is call the tire company to verify and do a prorate... now I gotta figure if I need to limp through the weekend and determine if I should call the tire company on Monday, or just switch over to Discount Tire and basically begin a whole new tire set warranty. Only 40k on my car in almost 5 years...

I had turned in my Pilot to fix a front right axle seal leak Monday morning. They are still working on it more than two days later. We called yesterday, and the service person in charge was out to lunch from 12pm-3pm. They told us they would work on it first thing this morning, and that it would be ready before noon. That turned into before 2pm and now by 4pm. Feeling disappointed, disrespected, and unsafe with this service.Service: Auto maintenance

Communication could have been better. I had to call to get updates and find out what was going on with my vehicle. In my case, someone was out of the office the day after I dropped off my vehicle. When someone is out of the office, nobody picks up that communication. It sounds like a process failure management could address if they knew it was a problem. I have only taken my vehicles to two other Honda service departments on a regular basis and this doesn't happen at Honda Cars of McKinney or Classic Honda of Texoma. They will both text and let you know if something needs to be approved.

Last week my wife and I took our 2021 Honda CR-V to Katy Honda to have the oil changed and air filters replaced. I had to go back to work so I left my wife at the service department. When we finance our vehicle through Honda there was a maintenance package that we had included. Low and behold according to Honda the third party vendor that we had this service agreement through went bankrupt which had all of our maintenance service prepaid. Funny that we as customers never notified that this alleged company went bankrupt. Not only did we have to pay for service again, they also stated that my wife needed to get the transmission fluid replaced and one of the tires replaced due to a nail in the sidewall. The vehicle has less than 23,000 mi and the recommended transmission service is not until 90,000 miles. Also the tire had no nail on the sidewall and wanted to charge my wife $400 for a single tire. Nothing against the Honda brand but Katy Honda service department has to be one of the most dishonest that I've ever seen in my life. Please be careful when having Katy Honda touch/service your vehicle. I'm very disappointed in Katy Honda.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Marcus was an excellent service advisor. It was my first experience at Honda Cars of Katy; I did not purchase my vehicle from them but they handled my factory warranty without issue. The Katy team was able to repair my vehicle the first time on the first ever visit within the first hour of arrival. It is on par with my other luxury vehicles' dealership experiences.

Service has been very good on recalls. Both my Honda's have had recalls and the team has taken care of them without issues or making me jump through hoops.On the new car, they have kept their promise of no charges for oil and replaced my battery under warranty.They have 2 service centers and the quick service center is great for quick oil changes.

I told service advisor to check my tire, there is nail on it, after three day, done the recall, when I pick up the car, I ask them how was my tire, service advisor said tire is ok, just low on tread, I ask him did u find the nail, he said no nail, and then I got my car and show him the nail was still in the tire, and this morning tire lights was on

Get here right at 7 there are several cars ahead of me. I wait patiently and ask for a status 2.5 hours later. The service desk attendant tells me 20 - 30 min more. After about 45 minutes I ask again but this time they have no idea where my car is. 30 min later they find it and start the oil change. After waiting 4 hours I would have taken it home if it wasn t already on the lift. A free oil change is not worth nearly half my day.Service: Oil change

Freddie is by far the best service advisor at this Honda dealership. He fully understands the issues and problems. My Honda Odyssey had a sensor problem for 2 years and was resolved when I took it with Freddie at Honda Cars of Katy. Excellent customer service and he keeps you updated along the process.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Over 2 hrs oil change and only to have a messed up car 2 days after it. Being a Honda car. Unacceptable. (Engine was checked beforehand and was in great condition). Their mistake. Their fault. And yet they wanted to charge 500+ just to check what it was.

Brake job done well, comfortable surroundings. However, our CRV drags when you slowly speed up out of a stop. That brake fix didn't help. After googling the problem it appears that this is a well known problem. Why not cut to the chase and just address it. Not wild about service shops. Pricey.

They pay attention to their customer, very polite and respectful.They all look happy to serve their costumers and always explained everything in detail what needs to be done on the car and the estimated amount. I love honesty
