If I could give 0 stars I would.Firstly, customer service at this location is arguably the worst I have experienced.Secondly, not the first place I've experienced this, but as many other places, they try to push all sorts of services that are not necessarily needed, including repeated services every single time you go there. I once decided to replace myself all 4 of my break pads and break fluids, and about a month later when I went to do oil change and tire rotations, they tried insisting that breaks needed some work and that they were worn out.Lastly, on top of insisting on unnecessary services, they are EXTRMELY expensive when it comes to their services and if that's not enough, they add all sorts of fees which at the end makes your final bill be $75+ more than what was verbally discussed over the phone prior to agreeing with the services.I know my way around cars, just don't have the necessary tools and space to do all sorts of stuff at home.I used to go to this location, as it is conveniently located close to my house, but will n.e.v.e.r be returning here.If you want to save money and spare yourself of unnecessary stress, please avoid this place at all costs.

Service is hit or miss. mostly miss and I'm not exaggerating. If you are looking for someone who cares about your investment/asset of a vehicle that you cherish, I strongly advise trying another dealership. you wont regret it. only redeeming factor is if its close however there are multiple Honda dealers around strictly bc of these kind of conditions found here

Warning!! Do not buy your vehicle from Honda Cars of Katy, or get any type of service work done. They no longer back their lifetime oil changes. I went to change my oil, and they destroyed the oil pan plug so bad, the pan has to be replaced. They will NOT take responsibility for their damages!!!! This is probably why they won't back the oil changes anymore due to their poor maintenance and don't want to fix problems caused by their mechanics

If they had a zero star, I would select it. 4 hours to do an oil change. No thanks and not for $85 plus. All we saw when we pulled up was several employees just sitting around talking to each other and playing around. No wonder why there's a 4 hour wait. I have given reviews on this place before and never got a feedback. Poor customer service and no concern with what's going on from higher management/owners.

Never going here again. I scheduled an appointment on Friday for today at 12pm. I get there and the service desk worker said there was no appointment made but I could sit and wait which I did. I got the basic oil change with the 21 inspection and car wash. My car didn t get washed and on my inspection on it said everything was perfect but my VSA, power steering and ABS lights are on. I will not return to this location by any means. $80 for false information is wrong.

Came in recently on a busy Saturday morning - no appointment. Despite that, the oil change service was quite quick. No issues using the Service at Honda Cars of Katy over the past year or so.

Let start with I been coming here Since I bought my Honda Accord Reviews were always bad I should have listen to them. Don't get me wrong the service advisers were pretty helpful Manager is pretty WORTHLESS. Go in for a oil change end up spending $250 They rip me off charging me $48 labor to put an cabin air filter in my car and another $35 labor to put a engin filter when they already had them out of my car to check, I call to confirm this and the Manager has no care was very rude and hung up on me. Go to a different Honda dealership if you want fair service never experienced anything like this.

$86 for an oil change2 hours - if you made an appointmentI wonder what non-Express looks like to them?Waiting room is okay but pretty well packed. Definitely not as nice as other dealerships. Bring a sweater in the winter as it s chilly. They have okay but old chairs, 1 loud TV, coffee, no free wifi. Previous dealerships had wifi and desks and power plugins and you could work there for real .here not so much. People tried. If you google the cost of a service - i.e. coolant flush - assume that your cost will be that maximum number. So you re not getting a discount for your long and uncomfortable wait. For how much you ll spend and how long you ll spend here, it s worth it to find a nicer or faster or cheaper place. This place has nothing really that you should come here for.

While the service is thorough and the staff are friendly I fail to see why if I make an appointment for 10:15 am my vehicle isn't in a service bay until after 12:30 PM. They are nice and all but they are also very very slow.

We bought our car from there and were doing all of the services . They can be better with their timing, usually we wait at least 2 hours. They're doing a very good job though

I wouldn't call this place an express service. The place wasn't busy when I got there but it took over 2 hrs for an oil change. Technian forgot to reset the oil light when returning the car.

No issues, very convenient. They teamed with lyft if you need a ride home when dropping off for service, explained that you need to get your own ride back. No complaints

I did my brake and transmission oil change at Honda cars Katy. But they did not secure the bottom chassis plate properly and it came off during my road trip the next day. I took my car again to the service Centre and they checked and fixed it.

Never spending my money here again. Honda of Katy sold me a new CR-V that included "lifetime free oil changes". Now the new owners will no longer "honor" the lifetime free oil change. They said they will offer a discount for the service, but it would still cost +/- $55 for the oil change. Thanks to the previous owners for not giving me a heads up that their lifetime promise was about expire and a big thanks to the new owners for not honoring the commitments made to the customers of the business that you just bought. Again never changing my oil, buying any parts or having any service done here again.

The guys who signed me up told me the wait was about 1 hour and a 1/2.After WAITING OVER 3 HOURS for an oil change the advisor said to go inside and get the report and my keys. He did not discuss the items that need to be taken care of.Customer service does NOT exist.I will not be back.It does not make sense to get a free oil change and wait 3+ hours and have customer service be rude.NEVER AGAIN...

Javier was very attentive! He was able to keep the vehicle overnight and I received a call the next date when the car is ready! No issues whatsoever!

It is true--the lifetime oil change for buying a car at this location is no longer honored. I only found this out after I had already waited over an hour and a half. I understand that business needs sometimes necessitate changes but a little bit of communication (which I verified with them did NOT Halen) could have solved all of my angst. Their Express location is temporarily closed and there is no signage displayed to let folks know this. They are still showing their hours is 7 to 7. I would not have known they were closed if I hadn't called into the Honda operator who directed me to the main service center (where I wasted 1.5 hours until reading reviews here). Apparently, they expect to open within a month or two but since they no longer honor the oil change and never bothered to communicate about it, I won't be back

Free lifetime oil change is no longer honored here. The last three vehicle multipoint inspections have contradicted each other. I was told I had a cracked drive belt about 8-9 months ago, 4 months ago I was told my vehicle was in good condition and nothing needed to be fixed. Today I was once again told I needed to replace my drive belt. Within those 9 months I did not get my belt replaced at all. Still very upset about the free oil changes no longer being honored. I even went through my emails from Honda and I could not find a single email that mentions being bought out or anything to do with the lifetime oil change. I will never come back to this location

The person who helped with my service order was very nice and helpful and i was out pretty quick. The only bad experience was the car wash, i wasn't told they were only doing the outside and not the inside and i didn't see the guy who brought my car back from the car wash using a car seat cover or sanitizing my car interior, i had to spray my car with sanitizer when i got home myself, aren't we supposed to be taking care of each other!

Website shows their hours from 6AM-7PM. Call ahead to be sure. They said no appointment necessary and just be there by 6. I take off work early to be there by 5:20. Employee standing around comes up to my car and says that they stop taking vehicles at 5. He says that they stop taking cars early so they can leave on time. I guess they actually close and hour before they close. Maybe this is a common practice in the oil changed industry.

Not honoring the customer agreement for life time oil change. No respect to the customer. Service member is disrespectful to customerToo much recommendation for changing this and that in the car before proper inspection. They have to change their business model and practice to stay longer.Without customer. There is no business

The oil change is not totally free and you have to wait for 2 to 3 hours.I just had very bad experience with them today. I was there for a tire change and I waited for about 2.5 hours in the service waiting room ... Just at the time I went outside for a moment (maybe 5 minutes), my car service was done so I missed their call. I was back in the room and waited for another 30 minutes. The lady at the front desk (next to the entrance door) did not check on me or call me until I asked her if my car was ready (30 minutes more wasted)... I'm not sure the lady taking her job seriously or maybe she just doesn't care... Overall, bad experience with Honda Services. With two more bad experiences with Honda in the past, I would say that's enough... My next car won't be a Honda for sure.

If you have the free oil changes for life of the car, they no longer honor their policy. They don't tell you until you arrive. I drove 45min to find out I have to pay $60 for my oil change that is supposed to be free. The new company is deceitful. We have bought 2 cars from them in the past, however that probably won't happen again.

Do not buy a car from John Eagle Honda. Read this before you do. I bought my car from them. I am supposed to get free oil change for the lifetime of the vehicle. I had to drive to the dealership all the way from Sugar Land and then when i reached there the customer service person told me that we dont do free oil changes for you guys anymore. I dont understand the language "You Guys". She did not greet me with a good morning or a hello how you are doing. Just plain blunt i am sorry we dont offer free oil changes anymore. I have a legal document that i signed with honda cars of katy that says that i am entitled to free oil changes every 5K miles. I even showed her the oil card. I think my oil change should have been free because it is incumbent upon honda service to inform its customers that they wont be getting free oil changes anymore and that is an inconvenience for us. I asked her why this was not communicated out and she said that we dont know who all has this benefit. Never once through the conversation did she sound sorry or felt compassion for my situation. If you think that i will not come back and ask for a free oil change than you are wrong. It is our right to get that. I paid a pretty penny for that car when I bought it from you and i will be sure not to buy a car from John Eagle honda or any other affiliates. You have to fulfill your legal obligations, you cant simply say that John Eagle stopped putting money in the oil change fund.

I have a free oil change for life with my cars purchase and every time I get my oil changed, they recommend things which needs to be done. A year ago I had my oil changed, they recommended a timing belt replacement. My car doesn't have a timing belt. It has a timing chain that should last the life of my car. I never went back, I don't trust any business who recommend something my car doesn't need. I recommend finding a garage you trust that is concerned about their customers and their integrity rather than their bottom line.

Oil change was super quick (I think I was lucky to arrive when it wasn t crazy busy). Eric & other employees were friendly. Lady at the counter who served me, although she had an expression that made it appear as though she hates everyone was actually very polite.

Drove one hour for an oil change only to be told that the lifetime free oil change that we paid for upfront is no longer valid. No email, no communication nothing was sent. I had even called to ask about it and nobody told me anything. Never buying anything from this Katy Honda nor am I returning for anything. So unethical of you guys. I m switching to Toyota

Dropped our vehicle off at noon, today. We were told that it would be 45 minutes to one hour for an oil change and state inspection. My wife and I went next door for lunch. We got back at 1:15. When asked about our vehicle, they said "well, I can't find the paperwork on you car, so I guess it's not ready yet". My and I go run an errand. I called at 2:00, to check the status. I was told it was NEXT IN LINE, as in they haven't even put their hands on it yet. I requested that they leave my vehicle in the parking lot, I didn't want them servicing my vehicle. If you buy a vehicle from Honda Cars of Katy, don't fall for the "free oil changes for life" deal, you pay for it, I promise and the service is far from par.

Stopped by because my tire pressure sensor was on. They told me I had a nail in my tire and it would be about 30 minutes. Shanna helped me and I was in and out in 30 minutes like she said. She was very friendly and helpful.
