Was very happy working with them! Lamar made sure to show me what their systems showed with my car but didn t pressure me into getting an extra work done. Will absolutely come back to get additional work done when it s needed!

I ve been using First Tire & Auto in Katy for several years. They are always kind, honest, and reasonable. Recently my car had to be towed to a dealership and I called First Tire to see if they would be able to get a part in faster. They weren t, but the did suggest we request the dealership to take other steps first before ordering a VERY expensive part, even though it wouldn t benefit First Tire. I ll be a lifetime customer after that!

First Tire & Automotive keeps our older cars running (2011 Subaru Outback & 2014 Toyota Tundra). They give us the information to decide what to fix and when. No pressure to do it all at once. Their work is guaranteed for 2 years - and they honor this!

I came here for an oil change & unfortunately they don't do them anymore. However, Mike was able to point me in the right direction and was incredibly helpful and kind.

I continue to use First Tire & Automotive located in Katy for my auto repair services. They are honest, thorough, and great at communicating. They have text based system to notify me about what the issue(s) are with my vehicle and what it will cost to fix. They also include recommended services that will catch my care up with its recommended maintenance schedule.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

Took my truck there to get a front end alignment. Ryan was very helpful over the phone and in person. When he called to tell me it was ready and that the alignment was fine so he just charged me for an alignment check. The shop was honest, caring and very thorough. I needed a diagnostic test on my car and was pleasantly surprised that the issue I thought I was having really wasn t an issue at all. Some auto repair places take advantage of women. I called them on a Saturday for an emergency tire replacement for my Audi Q7. Ryan was very honest and gave me a good price. He was the only one among some other tire stores in Katy that kept his promise to bring the tire the same day for me. Also did a quality job and fast. Mike says they can t give quotes over the phone as a company policy . Not even a rough estimate. Never heard that in the industry before. The person before him said he will give me a call back with an estimate but never did. Way to turn down business opportunities.I called the other location in Sugar Land. They were above and beyond and gave me the estimate.

Went for oil change new brakes. When I got my vehicle back there was no oil or see through oil not sure what was in my engine. My engine light came on. I open the hood air filter not connected properly. They look at it and send me picture with now oil in it and erased the engine codes. The manager said it should be fine now. I got down the street and my vehicle started stalling again and the engine light was one again with multiple codes. After paying 3500 dollars later I got it fix I had three different mechanics look at it. I finally got it fixed right. So if you thinking about taking your vehicle here I would think again. My gut was telling not to and I did not listen.Also they suggested a bunch of stuff that had nothing to do with getting my vehicle running right. They said it was what is normally done with age of my vehicle.

The first time I visited First Tire & Automotive was just to get my annual inspection done, but their quick and professional service impressed me so much that I decided to go back for any future problems. I have since been back for an emergency battery replacement as well as installation of a new set of tires - each time I was treated with the utmost courtesy and the work was done very efficiently. Working with Axel is especially great because he is incredibly honest and true to his word, which you sadly do not always find when working with other auto shops. Overall the team here always does a fantastic job, and I look forward to remaining a customer for a long time to come. I highly recommend this location for any auto needs!Services: Tires, Battery

I brought my vehicle in for annual maintenance, tires, and an inspection. My first mistake was bringing it to First Tire and Automotive. Once the vehicle was there, they kept adding service after service until the bill was approaching $1100. Lots of excessive charges on my bill and after they drove the car around for a while, we were informed that we needed a ball joint for the front end as well. Add another $400 on top, now we are talking $1500.00 total. I agree to this only thinking that it will make my vehicle in tip top shape. After my vehicle was at the shop all day 8+ hours, now I am being informed that it did not pass inspection because the brand new battery that was installed is keeping all of the vehicle's computers from reporting? What? Really? So, what did they tell me to do? They said for me to drive it around (no idea how much) and then, make an appointment to bring it back in. Why? So you can rip me off more? No thanks.Bottom Line: This garage is not interested in their clients, only making a quick buck. I've used this location for both maintenance & repairs over the last year or so, & couldn't be happier. The staff at FT&A - Cinco Ranch have maintained professionalism throughout all of my visits in addition to being accommodating to my work schedule. Something I appreciate immensely as I travel extensively.In response to some of the negative reviews, the pricing & election of services are very simple/straightforward. FT&A - Cinco Ranch makes service suggestions, most of which are based on the manufacturer's service schedule, but doesn't pressure anything. They simply provide a list of recommendations based on their assessment then allow you to select which services are to be completed. But most importantly -I'd recommend them to anyone, great work FT&A - Cinco Ranch!Services: General repairs, Auto maintenance

What amazing service and kind people!!! I was driving by as my low pressure light came on. I was welcomed by the owner who came out from the garage, when he saw that his front attendant was occupied helping another customer, instead of letting me wait. They had my tire patched and remounted in no time at all. In addition to the great service, these good citizens are volunteering and helping their Katy neighbors to recover from the flood. I greatly appreciate their help, and I will be a customer for life!!
