Had oil change and wheel balance competed. Took a bit longer than expected, but I prefer that over rushing. Definitely busy, glad I made an appointment. Thank you!

As a woman it feels so intimating going to mechanic shops because of our lack of knowledge in cars. I recently moved in cinco ranch and took my car to this place as it was walking distance. I hated every second of it, I tried explaining my car issues and was said not sure what you trynna say i found it rude and started getting nervous because I didn t know what else to say, I obviously don t know what s going in with my cat thats why I brought it so you can check and tell me... The mechanic shop was eager to close at 3 i get it, it was freezing, however, I was told I would get a quote the next day for what my car needed, never happened. I don t doubt they do a great job, customer service is just a -1 out of 10 :)

I was charged nearly $500 for a car diagnosis, but they could hardly provide any meaningful insight just a single sentence on a piece of paper.To preface this, nothing was said when I walked into their office. I walked in, told them who I was, and they silently printed out a piece of paper with a 1 sentence diagnosis, and no other description of troubleshooting steps.When I asked for a more detailed report of their findings and the car's issues, their response was strangely hostile: Adam, the person at the front, weirdly and angrily stared at me in silence for 5 seconds before saying "Sure, I can do that."The other two people at the front desk were equally unfriendly. When I asked for an itemized list of necessary repairs instead of a flat price, one s response was, "We're not going to do that," with the old man in the back shaking in anger, telling me they spent too much time on it , among other things. The old man seemed very hostile from the start and at one point was almost yelling at me, so much so that I had to take a step back and say I m not here to argue, I just want to see some actual troubleshooting steps on this diagnosis. Adam promised a 30-minute wait to rewrite the report, but it dragged on much longer. I watched as he aimlessly wandered the office, clearly avoiding helping me.Before choosing this place, I phoned to confirm their ability to provide a thorough explanation of my car's issues and necessary repairs. If I had known they would offer a one-sentence diagnosis at a $500 cost, I would have never come here.Finally, when I received my car, it wouldn't start anymore, and I had to have it towed back. They returned it to me in a much worse condition. Whether they did this on purpose to be petty or they are just incompetent? Your guess is as good as mine.If you enjoy weird and hostile energy, be my guest; you ll love it here. It seems like they just want you to "pay and go" with minimal explanation and a complete absence of customer service.

My family has been using Cinco Car Care since they opened decades ago. They have ALWAYS given us really great service AND they give it to you straight. They actually value having their customers return. It s good to call ahead to see how busy they will be, but they have always found a way to work with me when I was in a time crunch.

Dinging a star off a 4-star review due to the fact that they did not refasten my oil plate cover, causing it to come apart mid-drive and scrap itself into irreparable damage down the highway.

I had a very positive experience with Mike at Cinco Car Care. Needed to have my breaks checked and he was very helpful and informative about the process. They got my car in and out same day. I dropped my car off in the morning to get new brake pads and tires. Mike and his team were very professional, the price was very affordable and they even saved me more than what I was quoted. My car rides smoother than it ever has. Very pleased and would recommend this team for any car repair or service. Kudos Cinco Car Care.

Adam has maintained my cars for 20 years. He and his staff are very professional and friendly. They don't do 15k major services like dealerships that cost an arm and a leg. Repairs are done only when they are necessary and Adam will explain exactly what has been done. Their work is excellent and very reasonably priced. I completely trust Cinco Car Care to maintain my cars for the next 20 years!

Mike is the ABSOLUTE GREATEST & Dustin is VERY nice, too! They are EXTREMELY helpful, considerate, reasonable, & just genuinely kind along with being thorough & providing quality service. Would recommend them to anyone & everyone I know. Hard to find SUPREME quality like Mike & Cinco Car Care.

I initially took my vehicle to another mechanic which will remain nameless, and got thousands of dollars worth of "work" done. They "worked" on it for over a month, and after I had to bring it back 2 ADDITIONAL times, the issues STILL weren't resolved. I then took my vehicle to Cinco Car Care, and they LITERALLY took care of everything in less than 24 hours! I will never bring my vehicle, or any others for that matter, anywhere else!!! Adam, Dustin, Mike, and everyone else who works there are the true definition of quality customer service! I would highly recommend Cinco Car Care to anyone looking for an honest, reliable, and efficient mechanic.

Got quoted a price and even confirmed that was the price over the phone. Came in for my scheduled appointment and sat there for almost 2 hours to find they still hadn t started the work, thankfully, because I was toldIt was going to be about $110 more than I was specially told by Eric. There were no special circumstance to cause the price difference, that was just what the price was going to be. I understand that might be the going price for the repair, but don t tell me one thing and then pull the rug out from under me once I m there, just tell me straight up. Waste of 2 hours ill never get back with no repair done.*EDIT*I received a call from Adam, the owner, shortly after my visit to Cinco Car Care. Pretty much said it might have been a miscommunication or another break down, but just go ahead and bring the car back in and it'll get taken care of. Brought the car in today and they had me done and out of there pretty quick. I never expected to hear back from them after I left the first time, but they really showed their true colors and lived up to their motto. I might not have left happy that day, but they brought me back happy which is a pretty big deal. Once I write someone off or you lose my business, that's it, you don't get another shot. Cinco Car Care not only went out of their way to set things right, but actually earned my business having no prior obligation to do so. I'll be bringing all my future business to Cinco Car Care.

I have been using them for all of my vehicles for over 15 years. Adam and Dustin are the absolute best. I would never consider taking my cars any where else. I know some time car repairs are painful but I also know I am not getting taken advantage of when I go there. Really good folks. It is the only place I refer anyone too!!!

Adam & the Cinco Car Care team have been servicing mine & my families cars for many years. Their prices are very fair & they always does a great job. Customer service is very important to them. You & your car will be taken care of by professionals that pay attention to detail.

Mike the manager was awesome. They are honest and professional. I am giving them my buisness for all of my trucks at work, because of the quality of work. The alternator went out on my 2018 F150, and the first place I took it to was the Ford dealership, to have them replace (hopefully) under warranty, but I was told the alternator is not covered and their cost is $1,700.00 to replace. I took my truck to Cinco Car Care because Dustin quoted me a much lower price.I got a phone call from Dustin the next day informing me the alternator failed due to an oil leak. Something Ford did not mention to me. The oil leak was an issue Ford previously fixed for me (7 months ago) under warranty. I took my truck back to Ford and they are going to fix the oil leak AGAIN and replace the alternator at no cost to me.BIG Thank You to Dustin and Cinco Care Care for being honest and letting me know what caused the alternator failure before doing any work. They could have replaced the alternator as I requested and sent me on my way. Cinco Car Care will be 1st for me to call if I need any service in the future!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

I was quoted $289 for 1 tire on a Ford Fusion. AAA towed me there because it was closest. After I attempted to call AAA back and go somewhere else, they found a tire for $156. I was made to wait 5 hours for 1 tire. I was told they don't keep tires in stock. Don't Go to this place. Horrible service and too expensive.Service: TiresService: Tires

I was getting ready to go out of town and took my truck for an oil change and general inspection. Mike and I discussed my plans and he understood I would be a woman traveling alone. After they finished the inspection and oil change Mike called to let me know I was ready fir my trip. I ve always had a positive professional experience with Mike and Cinco Car Care. Very reliable and honest - they have worked on my Audi A3 multiple times - from routine factory maintenance to a couple of more major repairs. Always do an amazing job, quickly and very reasonably priced!!!! Ask for Mike- he is the man- he is very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this shop for any auto maintenance and repairs!!!!

The service is always impeccable. But the part they used, i.e. batteries is not at all good. My battery was replaced in May 2017 and supposedly good for 5 years and it has to be replaced today. Mike's attitude is it's under warranty anyway, my point is it is supposed to at least last longer than 2 years.

I have taken my cars to Cinco Car Care for over 25 years. Adam and his mechanics know what they are doing, they do it right, and most importantly they are honest. One time I took my car to them for an alignment. An hour later Adam called to tell me he put air in my tires and the car did not need an alignment. No other mechanic would have done that. And that's just one example.

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. I took my Vehicle to them because i was hearing a noise while driving. It took a long while for them to get to checking my Vehicle which they didn't work on . I entered my Vehicle to leave and behold my Vehicle which i drove there was completely shut down. Engine did not crank up, my windows were all not working. The owner who is from Egypt was told about the issues and he was dismissive, rude and tried to talk down on me. They knew they had tampered with my Vehicle. The owner even threatened to call the Cops on .me. Eventually i ended up taking my Vehicle to another Auto Repair Shop and i was charged $163 to fix what Cinco Car Care had tampered with. This is not a good place to do business with. Highly disappointed about their deceptionIf i had the opportunity to rate them properly it would - 0 (minus 0)

Unbiased and 100% honest review with zero incentives. After taking my 2nd vehicle to another very well known shop up the street that "upsold" me for no true reason, I decided to follow my gut and visit Cinco.Long story short, my engine finally died from symptoms of hydro-locking from the previous recent owner that I bought it from. Anywho, Cinco replaced the entire engine. What stands out to me was the fact that they understood that I only deal with OEM parts and I had already changed a ton of parts myself. Related and unrelated to the engine block issue.Mike was amazing to work with. Patient and he totally listened to what I needed and what I wanted. Price quoted was accurate, fair, and right on point with all the work done.I can say I'm now driving a "brand new" 03 F250 with basically zero miles. Cinco Car Care in Katy has taken care of our family's cars for years. You will not find a better car repair shop. Adam takes care of his customers and their cars as if they were his own family. They will always be honest with you and never try to sell you a service you don't need. The staff is really nice and always helpful as well. I highly recommend Cinco!

Owner is very helpful and provides great, friendly customer service. I know they will take good care of my older model car. The staff has great respect for all they do to help Katy residents, especially women.
