They were backed up with customers that day, since I called around 230pm. I was having an issue with my diesel , and I needed a repair that evening for work. The mechanic walked me through what to do to check a few things, and when I was done with the checks I called back, gave the mechanic the information I collected. He said to check one more thing while I was on the phone, and I found the issue. I went to get the part at the dealer, made the repair and I was back in business. Thank you. I ll be coming by with lunch a little later. Autotechtronics saved the day, real community focused. Thank you again.

I came to Autotechtronics for a second opinion. My wife's Kia is still under warranty for the powertrain but the dealer seems unable to or unwilling to properly diagnose this issue we have been facing for the past 20k miles after 4-5 trips. Autotechtronics spent their time and collected valuable evidence and details. They typed up a nice description as well and put a packet together for me to share with the dealer upon my return visit to help them do the right thing. This was an intermittent issue that the dealer was unable to reproduce while Autotechtronics was able to reproduce it twice in their shop. They did all this for a very economical price, knowing full well they weren't the ones that would be correcting the issue. I can't thank them enough. I likely still have an uphill battle with the dealer but the documentation provided will be difficult to dispute.

This place is honest, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I went there with electrical issues in my car, and the issue ended up being in the stereo system. Not only did they not charge me for investigating, they checked all the fluids in my car to make sure none needed replacing, (they were going to give me a free oil change since they couldn't help me!), then they called an audio place for us to make sure they would be able to help us! Autotechtronics is my new go-to mechanic. I was having issues with the ABS System in my car. My car sat at Christian Brothers for over 3 months waiting for an ABS module which was on national backorder. I had a friend refer me to Autotechtronics. Autotechtronics quickly found the module and got my car back up a running for a fraction of the price that Christian Brothers quoted. I was amazed that I didn't even need all the parts Christian Brothers said I did. It makes me sick to know how much Christian Brother's takes advantage of their customers. I'm so grateful that I was referred to Autotechronics. Thank you to Robert, Matt and the team for your honesty, integrity and hard work. We have an Infiniti G37 with electrical issues that 2 well known dealerships (Infiniti and Toyota) could not figure out in 6 months. These guys made the impossible possible. The service was impeccable and the pricing was excellent. Thank you for getting our car back on the road after all this time.

It's unfortunate I have to write this review after giving them my business in the past. I like Matt who manages the office but I can't let repeated bad service go unnoticed. I called Matt in regards to my brother in laws car not starting. He said they were busy but would put me in line. The car was parked in a parking lot adjacent to his shop. I figured they could do some simple diagnostics in the parking lot and then move the vehicle over to their parking lot when the time came for moving forward on the repair. I did follow up with Matt at the end of the day I made my initial call. After waiting for three days and no phone call from Matt we decided to hire a mobile mechanic. We received a definitive diagnostic the same day we called the mobile mechanic.On a previous occasion I had my alternator replaced and had another issue with my vehicle. They replaced the alternator but never took the time to diagnose the other issue. Matt said they had other cars they had to work on but would get back with me. I never heard back from him.To be clear, all my repairs were done correctly. My only complaint is the lack of follow up when I needed their services. I clearly remember the 2 times mentioned here and one other occasion.

Took my car here three times and little to nothing was resolved on it. The first time due to a sensor that was on back order fine, I can accept that, that s not their fault, we did ask for them to do maintenance on it and had to bring it back and they said the only thing it needed was an oil change and they did it. I took their word and went on about my life. Car started squeaking, noise was getting progressively worse. We took car in for a third time and they stated nothing was wrong and they heard no noise. Now noise is there all day not just off and on. Husband drove it and asked me to let him know where the sound was coming from. I told him back passenger tire, he took it off and my one of my break pads was non existent at this point. For something that was cleared by this shop, they said break pads had plenty of life left this does not seem to be what I m looking at now. I have multiple videos of the noise they claimed was non-existent. I m not sure if it was due to the warranty I had that they didn t want to deal with or if they just didn t look at all but I would have preferred an honest hey, we don t accept this here or we don t want to work on your car it would have sucked but I d respect that kind of honesty rather than giving us the run around on an issue that was clearly there.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Brakes

I worked as a mechanic in Katy for 15 years. In my time there I met Robert. If you have a serious issue something that no one else can figure out he's the man. I know all the dealers took their cars to him when they could not figure out what was the issue. Very honest and trustworthy and knowledgeable

My husband took his truck in for repairs and our experience was exceptionally pleasant. Robert and his mechanics are knowledgeable and very honest. We could not have been more pleased with the help we received from Della in the office. She was a breath of sunshine to us and we highly recommend taking your repairs to Autotechtronics. Great service by Matt and team. Fair prices and fast service.2021 update, still our go to for everything automotive. Recently had some issues with our Infiniti, Matt and team discovered the issue and that there was a standing repair recall at the dealership. I wish I could say the dealership was as transparent and straightforward to deal with. Great job, Matt and team.

Incredible service! I'm very reluctant to trust anyone with my competition show car (Audi S5) but these guys were A++. They were efficient, careful and professional. Highly recommend them and glad they're my new shop of choice!

My parents were visiting from out of town and had some electrical issues.We were so please with the service, quality and timeframe. They are very professional and knowledgeable. OUTSTANDING! Once again Robert and his excellent mechanics knocked it out of the park. It isn't just the original service that they perform so well, it is also their warranty service . I had air conditioning work done on my truck several months ago and it was blowing super cool air since that time. Recently a part gave out and it quit blowing cold. However, all I had to do was let them know and they gladly set up an appointment for them to take a look. They kept me posted through out the process and diagnosed the problem right away. Because it was a part which they had installed, those fine folks replaced it quickly and and didn't charge me a dime! They had my truck back in no time and now I am ready for the hot summer and could snow ski on the ice cold crystals blowing out of the vents. WAY TO GO GUYS! GOOD JOB!

These guys are outstanding! They definitely will continue to get my business in the future. I brought my truck that was having electrical issues but at the time was behaving normal. I am sure these guys were thought I was crazy but in the end so far it was an underperforming battery. I took it back and had the battery warrantied out from where I bought it. Hopefully that is the end of any electrical issues but either way these guys are great. Really appreciate knowing I have a mechanic shop I can trust.

Went in for state emissions testing. They are super fast hardly a wait at all took my keys and it was done! They were professional, knowledgeable and you can tell they care about and know their customers. I will go here for all of my mechanic and maintenance needs. No need to go elsewhere!

Amazing! Take your car to these folks!! I took my elderly mom's Audi Q7 here to get some work done. She hasn't had air conditioning for two years (I know...she's VERY frugal). She also needed brakes badly and had a 'check engine' light on. She was mentally prepared for a very high bill. Well, it didn't happen that way. Turned out was all she needed was some freon and her AC works perfectly. Her brakes turned out to just need new fluid and a bleed...they work perfectly now. Her check engine light was because she forgot to put her gas cap back on after getting gas, so all she needed was a gas cap. Autotechtronics could have said she needed a new compressor (etc...) for the AC, new rotors, brake pads, sensors, and fluid for the brakes, and the who knows what for the check engine light. Could have all been VERY, VERY expensive and we would have never known that we didn't need all of that. Instead she paid under $400 for all of it. I'm not saying that your bill will be under $400, but you will get an honest deal here. Everyone was very professional and friendly too. You can listen to Robert on the Car Doctor Radio show on Saturdays on AM700 which is how I learned about them. Give them a try...you won't be sorry.

Very fair and friendly. I am in the auto industry and could have taken my Jeep to the dealership I work at for repairs. However I value the experience and honesty I have found at Autotechtronics. Repairs are expensive no matter where you go, I would recommend you make sure you trust the shop you are using before spending your money. I will bring all my vehicles here.

These guys are honest and do good work at fair prices. We maintain our cars until the tires fall off, as we d rather put our money where it gains value. Auto Techtronics does a great job maintaining our vehicles and only fixes things that need to be repaired. I took in my teen daughter s car for a repair she claimed needs to be made. The guys checked it out and said it is running great. They didn t charge me a dime to check it out thoroughly. I plan on returning when we need maintenance or a repair. Having someone not take me to the bank when he could have means a lot to me!

I have a dread for calling or interacting with most repair shops. But not these guys! It only takes a small effort to be pleasant to people you interact with and it is apparent that they make that effort. I have used them a couple of times for minor repairs and tire and alignment work, and would recommend them to anyone.

A MUST GO! This is the most honest mechanic shop that I ve ever been to! SERIOUSLY, I m talking about Mayberry-From-The-Andy-Griffith-Show honest, lol. Particularly I m referring to Matt. This guy is amazing because I took my 2011 Buick Enclave to this shop and he made me feel comfortable enough over the phone to bring my baby to him. I eventually left my Buick over night and expected a smh-wow-now-I-have-to-break-the-bank quote or even an invoice the very next day, but the good news that I received from Matt was more than I expected.I didn t have to pay a single penny To have my power steering system repaired because Matt took the time to find out if there are any recalls and if my vehicle is eligible, which it was! Frankly speaking, he could have given me a quote for repair to profit during this pandemic without ever having research the recall and I would have possibly been out of hundreds of dollars, but MATT S honesty saved me my hard earned money!I took my vehicle to a Buick dealership and what was ALSO discovered is that my transfer case fluid needs to be changed and I was quoted $175, but when I receive the quote from Matt, I received a $90 quote with a mechanical explanation!It s rare to find mechanics like Matt in today s society of swindlers, so I definitely recommend this shop, as it has become my new go to place.I shall update you guys once I retrieve my Buick from the dealership and then take it back to Matt for the fluid change.Denard McClairne,A Real ReviewerService: Steering & suspension repair

The work I had done was difficult and required expertise. Had a 335 xi that needs a seal replacement over the cam. Had to take it back due to a component that was bent during the process. They where up front and fixed issue without additional charge. Car was in shop for over a week. Friendly and knowledgeable service. I will go back.

This is the best auto repair facility I have ever used. They are extremely knowledgeable about cars and trucks and their prices are very fair. They get the work done in a timely manner. Don't take your cars anywhere else.

We are new to the beautiful city of Katy and were recommended Autotechtronics by a nice woman. I am sorry to announce that this was NOT a happy ending to our "Story" fellow citizens of Katy. From the very beginning the blonde woman named Della ( I believe) was very rude to my 71 year old mother, I would of walked on principle but my mother being a Christian said "it's OK son, she's probably just having a bad day" so after letting that slide and proceeding with our work we thought that it was the end of it. Turns out we had an issue with the work they did and our car was leaking bad. After determining that we were still under warranty we went back but they swore they "Never" touched that part. That was a flat out LIE! If I didn't accidentally erase the pictures of there work it would of been a different story. So long story short they wouldn't honor there labor warranty and to boot will NOT exchange a NEW AC Delco battery they sold us for $65 dollars and charged $60 for installation!!! Honestly it can be just how they treat non-locals but it just doesn't make it right still. Be smart and select your MANY options out there people of Katy and vigilant on your warranties and photographs!!!, signed, A very UNHAPPY customer
